MCYT tokyo ghoul au that refuses to leave my mind: slight worldbuilding
Some major ghoul groups/gangs/territories are:
The Hermits:
A gang of powerful and mysterious ghouls
Most advanced and territorial of the gangs
Some doint see humans as people and exploit them for food and resources, some do but think of it as a necessary evil, some are trying be more hospitable to humans
Generally have a "doint mess with us and we doint mess with you" principle
Lead by a high ranking ghoul called "X"
Many members are presumed dead my the CCG (they're wrong)
Close allies with the crazies
The Crazies (alsmp/empires):
There territory is considered a safe haven for peaceful ghouls and human whare they have a symbiotic relationship
humans provide ghouls with bodies of the dead and ghouls use their abilities to help with things like housing, hostile ghouls etc.
Human-ghoul relationships are generally accepted.
Everyone living in crazy territory is obligated to follow the rules, while the members enforce them and deal with outsiders
They have a large influence and many powerful ghouls,it is general law not to cause trouble in crazy territory.
most major ghouls are connected to them in some way
The CCG knows that some of the leading ghouls exist, but they doint know about the territory and the humans doint snitch
Founding members: Cyan (Scott smajor), Shadow (ldshadowlady), Green bean (smallishbeans), Rainbow (joey graceffa), Fox (seapeekay), Cat (yammy) (deceased), Space (Laurenzside) and Panda (theorionsound)
Space and Panda along with some other members have come back after a recent Cochlea mass brakeout
The Dramlands:
A ghoul territory overtaken by civil war
Unhabitable by humans
The CCGs current priority

Nie Huaisang is such a character. He can faint on command. The character guide in the novel describes him as a dandy and lists his weapons as saber (ostensibly) and crying (actually). He stalked a canary for several days and then sneaked it into class. He collects porn and shares it with his friends. He's in a sword wizard society and his clan in particular is known for their blades but he never once has a fight scene. His characteristic accessory is a paper fan. He failed summer camp twice. He formed a Golden Core nearly a decade later than everyone else his age. When his brother was killed he set in motion a several years long revenge scheme that involved both careful planning and insane improv. He built a reputation on not knowing anything. He threw himself on his brother's killer weeping and saying "if you don't help me I'm killing myself in front or you." Truly who is doing it like him

Ok but, like, the way that Xie Lian and Hua Cheng are individually the strongest characters of their show, but when it comes to each other they're like daisies?? In the wind?
Like, Hua Cheng, right? One of, if not the strongest ghosts in the entire ghost realm. Always ready to fight. Always prepared. But the second Xie Lian appears
He is grabbed and just FLUNG across the room!
The fact that he didn't stick the landing makes me think he just ragdolled! Bruh ragdolled!
And Xie Lian!
~Just wisped away~
"Hello again :)"
And Xie Lian's got fast reflexes! Like, remember the dude from season one?
Not a problem. Not a single fuck to spare.
But this guy
"~Oh nooo~! I guess I'm slowly getting kidnaaapped!~"
Like, This is intentional! These are moments they both allow to happen!
That is adorable.
