I was rewatching the last Suchwita episode Jungkook was on and it was just so endearing how he couldn’t help but talk about the Jikook NY trip even though it was something that would have to be edited out. It was funny because later in the episode he started talking about SNTY and stopped himself because he said he probably shouldn’t talk about it. Taehyung said to go ahead because they could just edit it out and JK said this 😭
And he was so serious about it! Like it was such a blunt refusal that Yoongi even told them (jokingly) to take it outside if they were going to argue.
And yet, when Yoongi asked JK about the travel show he couldn’t help but go into so much detail about it with such an adorably big grin on his face despite it absolutely being something that would have to be edited out (Jikook were taking spoilers about their show extremely seriously too lol!).
It was just sooooo cute 😭 Jungkook could have stopped at any point too but he even goes right into a second story after the “heartstrings” comment.
It’s just really sweet because that whole conversation with Yoongi was so genuine, like it was a conversation between the two of them that wasn’t part of the show because it was obviously full of spoilers that couldn't be aired. Either JK momentarily forgot because he was just so into sharing the story or he just didn’t care because he really wanted to tell Yoongi about it anyways.
And the way that both of them looked so amused and endeared the entire time from the first second that Jimin was brought up is just so… idk, I need better vocabulary, but it was just so damn adorable lol. Jimin really does have that effect on people because literally the first mention of him and it’s all laughter and smiles and you have JK forgetting his “why would I talk about something they have to edit out” mindset.
Also Jikook in general just seem so excited about their show and it’s really sweet. They've only really mentioned it I think in this clip and the last live where they jumped on Namjoon for spoiling something lmao, but it’s like the way they talk about it and how obviously excited they are to share it with us and how JK was so amused by whatever funny chaotic things happened when Jimin arrived... it's really heartwarming. And it’s just sweet that no matter what they always seem to have so much fun together.
Anyways, it’s just really funny that in the SAME episode JK asks why would he talk about something that’s going to be edited out he talked about something that had to be edited out because it involved Jimin lmao. The fact that Jimin is always some sort of exception to Jungkook too is seriously something. Like speaking of Suchwita, it reminds me of when JK basically implied that the Jimin episode was the only full episode he had watched (that whole JM live was just crazy tbh).
I really can’t wait to find out what happened that was so chaotic and funny that had JK smiling like that and what had Jimin “tugging on heartstrings”. Like, is there going to be a scene of pitiful, pouty Jimin? Or is he just super endearing at one point? I'm so curious to see what all went down. And the Japan trip just seems like a fever dream, but that's just a whole other can of worms. But I really hope they release the full Suchwita convo sometime because the way JK talked about it was seriously adorable.

I want to write some stuff for this but am actively nodding off so y'all just get an info dump before I forget it instead. (My baby loftwing being all fluffed and happy on my chest is not helping me focus lol)
Anyway! Miphlink baby!
I think it would be pretty neat if he was hard of hearing. The mix of Hylian/Zora genes mostly goes fine, but that's the one thing that just gets him. Part of it is because Zora and Hylian ears are different - Zora ears are small openings hidden under the side fins on their heads, and we all know about Hylian ears. Zora rely on different hearing sensors when underwater, hollowed out structures in their heads that allow, essentially, for echolocation. Miphlink baby is born with Hylian ears tucked behind thinner side fins, no structures for echolocation, and not the best hearing. So Link and Mipha have to sign with him most of the time, though he does hear a little better underwater since sound travels better underwater.
While Mipha's color scheme for her scales is like crystla red and creamy white, baby's color scheme is a lighter shade of red paired with Link's skin tone. He doesn't have claws, either, but he does have sharp incisors. He's got his dad's blue eyes.
As for size, when he's full grown he'll stand around the height of an adult Hylian man, so he'll be taller than his dad but short by Zora standards (I figure Mipha seems pretty short for her people's standards too - she is a teenager, of course, but like... she's shorter than Link. Girl is tiny). He's got the structural fins like any Zora, but his body proportions are those of a Hylian (longer legs, shorter torso, whereas Zora are shorter legs and longer torso).
He grows at a rate similar to Hylians - Zora age twice as slow as Hylians until they hit adulthood, and then they just... are adults for a million years. But Miphlink baby grows roughly at the rate of a Hylian, maybe a little slower, and the rest of the Domain is just floored at how fast this kid is hitting his growth milestones.
He definitely has that cute "head tail is too big for his body" thing going on that Sidon had <3

"Did you know that you have a tell?"
"A tell?"
"Yes, a tell. A crack in your poker face." Cyno rolled his eyes at the suggestion. "I'm the general Mahamatra, Tighnari, I cannot afford to have a tell."
"It's a tell specific to your TCG game," Tighnari's smile was barely visible as he peered over his deck, but the humour was clear in his eyes. "You're not funny," Cyno frowned. "I'm not trying to be, dear."
"Go on then," Cyno began after rolling his dice, "what is it?"
"What's what?" Tighnari hummed as he grabbed the dice for his own turn rolling. "My tell," Cyno said, placing down a strategize card. "And why would I tell you that? Tsk tsk Cyno, don't you know I want to win," Tighnari's taunting grin grew behind his cards. "You're the one who brought it up," Cyno huffed, playing a support card. “And you're the one with only one character left, I just wanted to let you know why,” Tighnari said, the teasing lilt of his voice forcing Cyno to glare.
“You haven't won yet,” Cyno grumbled as he attacked, dealing 3 damage to one of Tighnari's last two characters. “No,” Tighnari conceded, beginning his round by equipping a weapon, “but I'm about to.” Tighnari used his ultimate, leaving Cyno’s card with 1 health. “I hope you have some food cards, sweetheart,” Tighnari said, “though I know you don't.”
“You don't know that," Cyno said, eyebrows furrowed as he searched through his hand. “But I do. As previously mentioned, Cyno, you have a tell.”
All Cyno could do at this point was attack again, though the 2 damage it dealt did very little when both Tighnari's cards had consumed food cards. He barely managed to break one character’s shield. Tighnari forced out a yawn. “Done?” His mocking smile served only to further frustrate Cyno. The other man nodded.
“My turn, general,” Tighnari smiled, looking through his hand. Cyno groaned. “Why bother looking through your cards when you're obviously going to win now?” Cyno asked, shoulders and jaw tensed for defeat. “Because it's fun seeing how worked up you get,” Tighnari said, “you're a terribly sore loser, dear.” With that, Tighnari used a card to switch character without ending his turn, before equipping a bow and attacking.
As the final blow to Cyno's card- and his ego- was dealt, Tighnari's smile softened. "Your tell, my love, is non-existent. I was merely bluffing to throw you off your game," Tighnari stood up and, with a kiss to the other man's temple, left the flustered general to stew in his frustration at being so easily tricked.

As the semester at college went on, the tension between Noé and Vanitas only seemed to grow. They danced around each other, their feelings bubbling just beneath the surface. Noé would catch Vanitas staring at him at random, only to quickly look away when their eyes met. And Noé would go out of his way to help Vanitas with his assignments, his touch lingering just a little too long. Their actions spoke louder than words, it was clear to everyone around them that they were in love, but neither wanted to be the first to admit it.
The tension finally reached its breaking point during a late-night study session in their shared dorm.
As they sat across from each other, books and papers strewn about the table, the air crackled with unspoken words. Noé finally mustered up the courage to break the silence. "Vanitas, I… I feel we must discuss this."
Vanitas looked up, his eyes barely wide with surprise but with a hint of hope. "About what, Noé?" he replied, his voice equally soft.
Noé took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. "About us. About how we feel about each other." The words hung in the air, heavy and full of emotion.
Calmly, Vanitas got up and walked away, his small smile never fluttering. "Non," he replied. "I don't think we need to talk about it."
He turned his back to Noé, his shoulders tense. Panic surged through Noé's heart, his mind filled with doubts about whether he had erred by voicing his feelings. But he couldn't let this moment pass without clarity, without understanding where they stood with each other. Taking a step forward, he reached out to grab Vanitas's arm, barely missing. "Vanitas… don't shut me out. I need to know how you feel."
Vanitas turned to face him, his expression unreadable. "Noé, you know I care for you. But this… this is too complicated."
Noé felt a wave of disappointment wash over him, but he refused to give up. "Complicated or not, we need to address it. We can't keep ignoring our feelings."
Vanitas let out a heavy sigh, frustration evident in the way his fingers raked through his dark, disheveled hair, a mix of emotions clouding his expression. "Will you cut it out already?"
"I can't just ignore everything that's happened between us." Noé insisted, his voice tinged with desperation.
"There's nothing to address," Vanitas repeated after a moment as he took another step away, his hands curling into fists as he clenched his eyes shut. "I feel nothing."
Noé felt a punch to his gut, and his throat ached as he struggled to breathe. "You can't honestly tell me that," Noé said, his voice quaking a little. "You must be kidding, right?"
"You think I can't tell?" Noé spoke up. "You're standing here acting as if you don't have a care in the world, but I know that's not true."
"How would you know?" Vanitas asked, his tone curt as he kept his hands clasped together.
"Because I've seen the way you look at me when you think no one is watching," Noé replied, his voice filled with a mixture of hurt and frustration. "I've seen the way your eyes light up and the way your smile reaches your eyes. You may try to hide it, but you can't fool me, Vanitas. I know you feel something. So don't tell me there's nothing to address."
Vanitas fell silent, his back turned to Noé, a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts racing through his mind as he struggled to find the right words. Noé could see his shoulders tremble ever so slightly.
"You know very well that I'm not like you," he said in an even tone, his voice seemingly lacking emotion. Noé could hear a slight quiver in the man's voice, though he still refused to turn around to face him. "I have my reasons for keeping my distance, Noé. It's better this way," Vanitas finally whispered, his voice cracking slightly, betraying the vulnerability he tried to conceal.
With that, Vanitas turned and walked out the door, heading first into the pouring rain.
Noé stood frozen in the doorway, watching as the rain poured down on Vanitas, his heart aching at the sight of the person he cared for so deeply in pain. Without a second thought, he ran out into the rain after him, calling out his name as he tried to catch up. Vanitas didn't stop; he didn't even turn around, but Noé could see the tears mingling with the rain on his face, and it broke his heart even more. He reached out and grabbed Vanitas' arm, forcing him to turn and face him, the emotions swirling in both of their eyes as they stood there, drenched and vulnerable.
"You're wrong," Noé said softly. Noé held his gaze for a few more moments, before pulling Vanitas into a tight embrace.
"What are you doing?” Vanitas' arms went limp at his sides as he tensed up, not used to physical contact. "Let…go," he murmured, his voice coming through a tight throat as he struggled to free himself from Noé’s grip. Noé, however, stayed put, and in return, Vanitas gripped at the collar of the other man's shirt. Vanitas' body began to tremble, despite his efforts to remain calm.
"You are bad-tempered. You always do whatever you want, arbitrarily. You don’t care whether you get hurt, but you can’t bear others getting hurt for your sake, and you try to isolate yourself by pushing everyone away. You are not like me; that much is true, but you're just as foolish!" Noé whispered, feeling Vanitas tremble in his arms.
Vanitas knew he couldn’t push him away. No, he didn’t want to push him away. His mind screamed at him, telling him how foolish he was, while his heart craved for more.
They stood frozen, the only sound being the quiet rhythm of their breaths. The rain continued to pour down around them, but in that moment, all that mattered was the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air between them. Vanitas finally broke the silence, his voice strained and barely above a whisper.
"Why…" He swallowed and tried to compose himself, "Why do you continue to be so persistent?"
"Because I love you, damn it!"
"W-what…?" He managed to sputter out, even as his own arms wrapped around the other man, gripping tightly at his shoulders. His chest rose and fell with deep breaths, inhaling Noé's prominent vanila and amber perfume. "Love.. Me…?"
"Yes, I love you," Noé repeated, his voice steady and sure. The rain cascaded around them, its gentle patter blending with the thundering beats of their hearts, creating a symphony of emotions in the downpour. A warmth engulfed Vanitas's chest, shattering the walls around his buried emotions, unleashing a flood of realization he had suppressed for so long. Tears welled up in his eyes as he finally allowed himself to believe in the possibility of love.
"Damn it…" he whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain and filled with raw emotion that Noé had never heard before. And in that moment, as they stood there in the downpour, their hearts finally spoke the words that had been left unspoken for far too long.
Noé reached out and gently wiped away Vanitas's tears, a soft smile playing on his lips. "I've been wanting to tell you how I feel for so long, but I was afraid of losing you." Noé said softly, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears.
"I'm not going anywhere," Vanitas whispered, taking Noé's hand in his own. "I love you too." And in that moment, as they stood there in the rain, their hearts finally united in a bond that could never be broken.
