ooof, i'm a firm believer of no sad endings. so i always promise to leave all my fics ending happy. but the fic i'm writing for jimin's birthday is making me SO EMO that i know it's gonna be the one to wreck me once it's done

Okay. Am I the asshole if I call out my roommate's self-centered behavior? I live in a communal space, where everybody except C shares freely. C got a good job through connections and is able to spend freely on themselves, spending little on household items, groceries, etc. They say they're broke every month, but I've seen their takeout containers and amazon boxes, so maybe it's a spending problem. Worst of all, when we are low on food, C just disappears for a few hours and comes back instead of cooking with everyone.

I've told C that they're being selfish and they should start considering other people, but it goes in one ear and out the other. I offered to help budget but they don't listen! They barely spend more than $400 of their $2000 a month on groceries for the house; the rest goes to their lavish lifestyle while the rest of us suffer. I just want them to pay their fair share. AITA for asking them to be fair??

It's occurred to me that meow-meow-nerd is an odd name for a blog that features no cats, so I've decided to introduce my fur babies Tesla and Shuri. You may be familiar with them from my other blog @sarcastic-salem. I abandoned that blog because...Frankly, I said some shit I'm not proud of. It was an extremely ignorant and lesbophobic remark that I regret. I just started this blog cause despite all the shit I've been through on here, Tumblr still feels like my safe place and I just wanted some peace and fucking quiet.

That being said, here are pics of my angels Tesla and Shuri.

Shuri is the void babe and Tesla is the creamsicle.

Shuri is named after Marvel's Princess Shuri cause they're both mini panthers and Tesla is named after Nikola Tesla the scientist. Not Elon Musk's shitty cars.

I'd also like to take this time to say that I am sorry for ever having offended anyone on my previous account. I am in therapy and attempting to work through my trauma so that I don't make the same mistakes in the future. I know that doesn't make up for anything or make my past behavior okay.

I am truly sorry, though, and am going to do my best to be a better person in the future.
