🌼☕` Green With Envy `☕🌼
Gen / hurt-comfort if your like ten feet away and squinting, Fluff
Includes / Charlie , Alastor , Adam
Tumblr media
CHARLIE
Charlie is never really jealous, alright, she has complete trust in you
That being said, it definitely happens!
Charlie is really, really emotionally intelligent and picks up on subtleties alot of others don't, she may be naive and trusting but she's not stupid and her vibe check has yet to be off
Ignore alastor that was a calculated risk
So when the two of you decide to take a break from promoting the hotel to share some greasy, cheesy food at a pub
Most food places were groceries, cannibalistic or bar and grills, so it wasn't uncommon for the two of you to go out for food and have a few drinks while you were there
She had just returned from the bathroom when she spotted the sinner chatting you up at the bar counter
Something about the sight, maybe the lighting, maybe how close the stools were- therefore how close you were, or something about how you played with the straw of your drink absent-mindedly set her off
She's not- proud of what she did per se
She slides in next to you, interlocking her fingers with your hand resting on the counter top, squeezing it affirmingly
"Hey hon, whose this?" Tone too cheery, smile a little to calculated
It's then she saw the hotel flyer in the sinners hands, aw, whoops
"Oh this is-"
"Travis."
They extended their hand too shake and still a little embarrassed about her initial take she took his hand, fumbling slightly before he squeezed her hand a little too hard
Oh
She wasn't the only one jealous here
She was VERY quick to get you two out of there, some emergency at the hotel or with nifty, or something, she doesn't like feeling like this and she doesn't like being in a situation that might make you uncomfortable, and to be very, very honest she did NOT want that demon anywhere near you
ALASTOR
He's a very confident man, he knows you love him, he knows that you know he'd do anything for you, he's comfortable with you
That being said when he finds the letter inviting you to an interview on 666 NEWS by Vox he felt all the jealousy he mocked others for having rise in his throat like bile
"It's some sort of trap, I don't want you going."
He sets the letter down in front of you, let's you read it, digest it before shrugging
"I don't know why'd they want to interview me anyways, I don't even think Angel has an interview with him."
"Oh I can think of a few reasons. "
He runs his fingers along your jaw, tilting your head up to look at him
"Maybe I should go then."
"What."
He didn't have time to register your teasing tone before your giggling at his expense
"If the people love me as much as you do maybe I should go on."
"Oh no one could possibly do that, no one who wants to live anyways."
Now it's his turn to tease, and he takes the letter from you, tearing it up
"Though since you seem so keen on fame why don't you join me on my radio show?"
ADAM
Jealous all the time
Doesn't bring it up because he wants you to believe he's confident but bro he's dying inside
The only time he ever, ever directly told you he was jealous or uncomfortable was in his early days in his band, back when he was newbie to the group and was working to gain his name in the industry
It was just after the show and the lot of you were hanging back stage, signing shirts and breasts and having a few drinks
You were talking about something inconsequential when a fan came up and started talking to him, you took your cue and peeled off to get a beer for the both of you
That fan came and went, and another, and another and he thought first you stopped to use the restroom, i mean hell he kinda needed to piss too
When he caught a break between fans he headed to the restrooms, now worried you didn't have toilet paper or accidentally locked yourself in (not speaking from personal experience at all, he doesn't want to talk about it)
Instead he found you backed up by some sound tech guy
"I uh- I should really get going, my boyfriend, uh is my ride and I gotta get home-"
"Why going so soon? I saw you behind stage waiting for him, I gotta say cutie, your worth far more than that ass."
"Haha, yeah, he's definitely an ass but he's my ass, yknow?"
Something about your nervous laughter burned that jealousy straight to anger
"Yeah, speaking off assholes."
He practically tossed the guy off of you
"Take a hint."
He was angry for the rest of the day, not at you, not ever at you, but damn, he needed to blow some steam off, mostly by angry ranting to you in your apartment
"What was that guy's fucking problem!?"
"That guys NEVER going to be on set again, fuck what if it was someone else who didn't have someone looking out for them yeah?"

Nifty Nifty Nifty
Tumblr media
Fandom: Hazbin Hotel
Pairing: Vox x Reader
Type: Fun and Fluffy! Platonic only! HEADCANONS
What if Vox had his own Nifty? Someone who’s just a short ball of chaos, easily entertained, and very quick?
c/tw: mention of cum (its still platonic, i swear)
Tumblr media
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Alastor and Nifty’s relationship is weird. To Vox that is. He observes Alastor whenever he can, which Alastor tends to make it almost impossible to do so, but from what Vox has gathered-Alastor may or may not have a soft spot for this ‘Nifty’ lady.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Cringe. Anyways,
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ When you met Vox, let’s say it was in his early days in hell-before the Vee’s, fame, fortune, and, hell, even before the overlord status was placed upon him, so you were an early contract. One he didn't see a lot actually. For good reason!
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Vox sighed as he slumped back, defeated, on his chair. His eyes followed the hyper active little sinner who scurried along all around his monitor equipment. He was slightly worried they'd knock something over but the one thing (Y/N) hated with a burning passion was a mess. So he was a bit at ease knowing that his equipment likely wouldn’t be damaged.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "I dusted down the keyboard this morning. It's fine!" Vox insisted as he watched the little ball of speed come to a halt to tear apart his keyboard.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "Not enough! Did you even use that feather duster I gave you for our soul-contract-iversary? It's so unclean! You didn't even take off the caps to really get in there like you're supposed to!" The little thing rambled on. They weren't particularly venting about it though. It was all done because they were just excited. Which was a breathe of fresh air for Vox so he didn't immediately kick them out.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Maybe offering the 10 pound, 3 foot tall sinner a cup of coffee wasn't his most calculated move. You'd think he'd learn by now.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ But he just couldn't resist the hopeful teary eyed expression you gave him this morning when you asked for a sip of his coffee. He wasn't gonna share so he brewed a cup for you and made it just how he'd think you'd like it-a crap ton of sugar.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Velvette had inquired if that really was a good idea but Vox being the prideful, stubborn, 'I'm the boss' pissy baby he is, had shot her concerns down. Something about how he doesn't have to listen to someone else tell him how to control his souls.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Yeah Velvette was not happy with that and flipped him off. Telling him that whatever happens is his mess to clean up all on his own.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Oh yeah the other Vee's are familiar with you already. It was actually quite funny how you met them.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ When you first met Velvette you were sitting on some top shelf and giggling madly to yourself as you looked at her outfit that day. It was a lovely little outfit with artistic decisions in where the red melty heart symbols were located. "You got slime on your clothes!" You giggled, "I'll clean them!" Velvette backed away slowly as you whipped out a large sponge and a bucket of soapy water. Vox had intervened just in time to catch you midair before you could 'ruin' Velvettes outfit.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Valentino first met you in one of his night clubs-one specifically for sex favors. He was chatting with Vox in a separate room when they heard a shriek. Valentino had intended to ignore it until Vox ran out of the room, cursing under his breath. When the pimp entered the club room he watched with a confused look on his face as a little sinner scrambled around with a black light, tears in their eyes, and like a thousand cleaning materials in their arms. They wailed in Vox's arms about how filthy the entire room was. Valentino took an interest in you, maybe you could be quite useful in one of his films. Like a sexy little maid or something. Yeah before he could make an offer you had ripped off some of his fur, muttering about how unclean his coat was.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Oh Val, that would not be the only time a little ball of chaos ripped some of your fur off, would it?
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Anyways, Vox didn't keep you around much for, as previously mentioned, good reason. In fact, part of your contract was that you never reach out to him. He will be the one to reach out to you. It leaves your text messages and mailing address heavily one sided. Vox still cringes at the memory when the head of the mailing company had accused him of stalking some poor innocent sinner.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Vox liked to think he didn't have any favourites of all his contracted souls. The closest would probably be Travis (the name I gave his assistant in episode 2) but that was mainly bc out of all of Vox's assistants, Travis actually got shit done to Vox's standards. So yeah. Absolutely no favourites. Non whatsoever. Nope nope nope-
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "And in other news, VoxTek is releasing some new cleaning products for your VoxTek appliances!" Vox promotes on his 'Vox-2-Nite' show one evening. Suddenly your little happy face comes very close in front of camera 1, holding an armful of the cleaning products you managed to convince Vox to make. Vox stretches behind you to try and get his face back on camera 1, and maybe hint for a crew member for get you off the damn set.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ No one could mangle you away from the cameras though, leaving Vox to shamefully climb over his desk and retrieve you himself. He sat back on the guest seat, hand clamping over your mouth, arm holding your body as still as he possibly can as he hurried to end the show.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "That's it for tonight on 'Vox-2-Nite'! Tune in tomorrow night for a very special guest, Velvette-hey get back here!" You slipped out of his arms, running up to the camera and firmly grasping it in your hands. "Buy our cleaning products! Valentino says the soap is the same colour as Mister Vox’s cum-!" "AAAAAAAAA!!" Vox tackles you to the floor.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Velvette finds herself smiling smugly along side a chuckling Valentino at the...unexpected closing of the show. They wait for Vox to slam open the doors. But surprisingly Vox doesn't come charging in upset. Instead he looks unbothered as you cling to his leg wailing for your cleaning products back.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "I'll clean all of the Vee's tower! Every little corner! That's how I'll make it up to you, I promise!" Vox pulled you off his leg from the back of your top. "It wouldn't be a punishment if you enjoyed it now, wouldn't it?" Then he dropped on you the couch next to Valentino who scurried away out of fear that you'll rip out his fur again. He may or may not have ptsd from the first time.
𓈒ㅤㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ If you were a normal sinner, any of his other souls or employees, you'd be ripped apart by now or have some other form of harsh punishment-he's not above using some of his employees as target practice with a gun of course. But you weren't like the rest to him. Yeah. Definitely no favourites.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "Imagine being attached to some little sinner!" Vox laughed, spinning around in his chair with a cup of hot coffee on his iconic 'Fuck Alastor' customized mug. He looked at the monitor with an amused expression, with a smug, teasing smile. Alastor's fondness of this Nifty lady was just too comical. Cringe, even. "He's such a loser." He sipped his coffee.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "Can I have a sip?" You perked up suddenly next to him and eyeing his coffee. Vox hands the mug to you thoughtlessly. "Yeah, go ahead." He says before laughing again.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ Valentino and Velvette, on separate monitors as the three were in a video call together, throw a 'really?' expression Vox's way. He fails to notice that though as he's still looking on in amusement and making his comments-laughing at his own jokes like the sad, little simp he is.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ I like to imagine that Vox kidnaps Nifty just to spite Alastor and Alastor, not one to back down from a challenge, in turn kidnaps you. So he's been doing his homework too it seems.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ It then becomes an awkward trade off of little chaos gremlins, with both Overlords inching towards each other holding each others little friend. Like, they don't even set them on the ground for them to find their way back to their masters-each somewhat paranoid that the others just gonna take both and run away. So they hold the two of you out, using the other arm to slowly reach for their respective little entertainment. As soon their fingers graze their friend, Nifty is swept up into Alastor's arms and you're swept up in Vox's. The two throw glares at each other, shadows curling dangerously behind Alastor and electricity flickering around Vox violently.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "I got stuck in his fancy toilet!" Nifty points at Vox.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "He took me to Cannibal Town and a lady named Susan tried to eat me!" You point at Alastor.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ One night as Vox sat in a meeting room surrounded by all his sharks, he downed a bottle of some hard liquor. It was another difficult day. Surprisingly enough, the nail on the coffin was when Vox finally admitted to himself that he does have a favourite.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "Can I stay here?" You suddenly appeared on the table which nearly gave Vox's dead cold heart a heart attack. "What?' He recovered. "I like it here. Velvette says I'm like a doll she can dress up and I get lots of new clothes. Valentino lets me clean his studio-with a promise I don't touch him." Vox nearly snorted. Almost. But a rare, vulnerable, genuine smile took its place instead.
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ "I suppose. Your presence is... not unenjoyable to have in the tower." Suddenly Vox finds you climbing his shoulders, hands gripping the top of his monitor to keep yourself steady. You take his hat and place it neatly on top of your own head. Vox glances up at you with a toothy grin. "Onward to my new room, Mister Vox!" Vox stands and cleans up after himself, not removing you from the piggy back you forced upon him. "Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that strange head of yours."
𓈒ㅤׂㅤ𐙚 ࣪ ⭒ You, dear (Y/n), are a soul worth keeping-and a friend worth having.

WHAT IS THE INFORMATION PARADOX??
Blog#355
Wednesday, December 6th, 2023
Welcome back,
Afew years ago a team of chemists unboiled an egg. Boiling causes protein molecules in the egg to twist around one another, and a centrifuge can disentangle them to restore the original. The technique is of dubious utility in a kitchen, but it neatly demonstrates the reversibility of physics. Anything in the physical world can run both ways—it's one of the deepest features of the laws of physics, reflecting elemental symmetries of space, time and causality.
Tumblr media
If you send all the parts of a system into reverse, what was done will be undone. The information required to wind back the clock is always preserved. Of course, undoing a process may be easy in simple systems but is less so in complex ones, which is why the egg unboiler was so nifty.
But there's a troubling exception: black holes. If a massive enough star collapses under its own weight, its gravity intensifies without limit and locks matter in its grip. Jump into one, and there's no going back. Merge two together, and you can't split them apart.
Tumblr media
A black hole presents an almost completely featureless façade to the universe. Looking at it, you can't tell what fell in. The black hole does not seem to preserve information. This irreversibility, first appreciated by physicist David Finkelstein in 1958, was the earliest inkling of the black hole information paradox—“paradox” because how could reversible laws have irreversible effects? The paradox signaled a deeper disease in physicists' understanding of the world.
Tumblr media
Scientists have many reasons to seek a grand unified theory of nature, but the information paradox is their most specific motivation, and it has guided their way when they have little else to go on.
At last, more than 60 years after this puzzle began to appear, physicists are seeing hope for a solution. In the year leading up to the pandemic and through the months of lockdown, a coalition of theorists took huge strides to understand the paradox—the most progress in decades, some say.
Tumblr media
They bolstered the idea that black holes, despite appearances, are reversible, and they dissolved the official paradox. Physical theory is no longer at odds with itself. The work is contentious, though, and by its proponents' own admission, it is at best a starting point for a full explanation of black holes.
Until recently, most of the “progress” physicists have made on this paradox over the decades has consisted of realizing the problem is even harder than they'd thought. Finkelstein's original work left loopholes.
Tumblr media
For one, it was based on Einstein's general theory of relativity, which physicists knew was not the full story, because it left out quantum effects. In the 1970s Stephen Hawking—in the work that made him a household name—took a first crack at including those effects. His calculations predicted that black holes slowly release energy. But this emission carries no information about whatever had fallen in, so it doesn't help wind back the clock.
Tumblr media
If anything, the outgoing trickle of particles worsens the predicament. The black hole eventually empties itself of energy and evaporates away like a puddle on a summer's day. All the matter it imprisoned is not freed but wiped out of existence. Hawking's analysis elevated a general unease into a full-fledged crisis for physics.

Alastor and Voxes rivalry is so funny because, aside from their differing perspectives on technology, they really aren't all that different personality wise. They're both master manipulator's that like being the center of attention, they're insecure about the fact that they need others for their power and success (Alastor with his soul owner, who I agree is Roo unless proven otherwise, and Vox with his fellow Vees), and they overestimate how powerful they truly are on their own until getting hit with a major dose of humility (Vox in "Stayed Gone" and Alastor when he nearly got killed by Adam). Heck, maybe these exact similarities may have contributed to their rivalry in the first place.
Tumblr media
I adore them. Vox is my third favorite. He was my second but then Lucifer made his grand appearance. TBH I pretty much love all the characters but those three rank the highest by far.
I'm pretty much obsessed with Alastors relationships with everyone. His relationships with everyone beside Rosie and Nifty are oddly complicated. I pretty much walked into the show with the assumption that everyone out for their own. All cut throat and not caring who they step on to get ahead. Which we still sort of get but we also got hit with... found family and relationships-of sinners in Hell. I was going to make a whole post about it last night but it got late so I postpone.
They are both calculating showmen. Emphasizing their words and meaning with large arm movements and such. What I find more alluring is Alastor is more subtle about it but its more captivating. Alastor does do grand movements with his arms and hands. But he can make a grand entrance just by being silent. Either moving by shadow or in his battle, he was revealed to Adam buy standing still and quietly waited for Adam to take notice of him when the smoke clear and flew towards him. Which is quite a testament to his talent and skill as an entertainer and showman that he can command attention without doing anything. Vox is more flashy. I love how he enters a room. Even the less flashy entrance of him walking to his control room in "Stay gone". It was commanding attention even if the room was empty.
Both are similar but both are prideful but I think Vox is less so. Vox realize there's strength in numbers. I think one of the reason why Alastor more adamant about being independent and not relying on others is because of his contract. He lost the right to his own soul for relying on help of someone else. His reluctance to have aid and his pride is his downfall. Which we only starting to see happening.
I desperately want to know what exactly went down between these two. One of my first few post was about those two, and I still incline that's what mostly happen but also it was layered with more things im unaware of. They were clues they were once friends and how Vox reacts, it clearly ended by Alastor. Alastor referring Vox with "Old pal" is so condensing and mocking to further insult Vox.
I doubt we get it but I hope we get a flash back episode about these too. Their friendly banter between each other would be so entertaining. They would jab and jeer at each other preferred technology consistently.
I also want the same between Husk and Alastor. I'm positive they were friends before their deal. At first watch my impression was Husk gambled it away to Alastor in a drunken night of unable to stop gambling. But now the more I think of it the least probable it seems. It appeared turned to him. I think they arrange a deal with two outcomes. One that more favorable to each lord but did a game to finalized the true outcome of the deal. I was gonna make a post about that, probably next week tho.
I think Vox character becomes so complex when it comes to Alastor. Because Vox biggest shortcoming is he gets overly emotional. Which is ironic as he is the most mechanical character in the show. I believe he quite the strategist. Which what really got him to become an overlord and his main role in the Vees. I really hope season two show him really utilizing this ability and make him a proper 'villain' with it. He shown to be level headed and calm but then, the mention Alastor to him he goes of the rails. What interesting his emotions about Alastor is multilevel and complex. He feels so intensely about Alastor but the problem is...he feeling multiple emotions about Alastor intensely. It would be SO easy if he can just feel one thing. Either it be pure hate, pure heartbroken, pure rage, pure nostalgia, pure adoration. But no, he feels them all at once and its overwhelming. He needs to ruin and destroy Alastor or bring him down so he can at least feel he can in control. He needs to control Alastor to at least figure out how to control his emotions for him.
Vox in generally is a man who typically knows what he wants and typically get what he wants. Vox wants Alastor to acknowledge him and accept him, Either it be positive of negative. He wants a relationship with Alastor again either be love,mentor/protege/friendship...or what he settle on, rivery. But Alastor not really giving him that. Alastor barely register Vox since his return or acknowledge him as a rival. Alastor never takes Vox seriously, its all a big joke to him. Its drives Vox out of his computer chip mind. Vox is compelled to prove Alastor the Vox is to be taken seriously. He only feel valid when hell get the attention and acknowledgement from the only person he ever want it from in Hell. Alastor probably knows this and purposely ignores Vox when it doesn't demand his attention to further irritate Vox.
I love seeing fanart or fics that showcase how complex Vox can be. He not two dimensional -despite his face being one. That Vox ventures to take the opportunity to kill Alastor while weaken but when Vox facing reality and force to witness Alastor struggling, Vox in up defending and protecting him. While mumbling to save face that he only make Vox look cowardly if he killed Alastor in his pathetic state and only Vox has the honor to kill Alastor.
He doesn't want Alastor gone. He wants his vexation with Alastor gone, he wants his inadequacy caused by Alastor gone. But as the easy solution to solve those issues is to get rid of Alastor...which he sort of wants. But then again he doesn't. If Alastor gone, a part of Vox self is gone. Alastor is such a large part of Vox, that Vox would feel lost and empty if Alastor was truly gone. Alastor is Vox motivation and driven purpose to prove himself worthy. Alastor gone there's no push for Vox to be better in any aspect. Business, power, himself etc. He would never find much joy again when the victorious high of killing Alastor himself wears off.
Vox seemed disinterested in life in conversations until He discovered Alastor was back. The information brought new life to him. He is driven mainly by Alastor.
I am curious how Alastor feels about Vox. I'm sure more recently he more annoyed by Vox and disgusted by Vees business ventures but enjoy one upping him. But does he ever reminisce their better days together and miss Vox companionship? Feel the loss of their friendship. I want to say there are times he does but he better grasp at compartmentalizing and does not dwell on it too often.
I been wondering one of the reason that cost the rift that Vox has some type of recording Alastor that Alastor did not improve of. It seem that Alastor may not mind modern technology as there was a very clear picture of him. But since of that recording that ended their friendly relationship. Alastor took that as a lesson and distort any recording of himself to prevent it happening again. Might be another call back for "This face is made for radio." Tho, I think that phase might be more of his mixed heritage in the early 1900s.
I am looking forward Vox having more role to play in season two.

Here's a human AU prompt: everyone knows everyone but they're in their own groups--Val, Vel, Vox, Angel Dust, Cherri Bomb are one group, Alastor, Husker, Rosie, Nifty, Charlie, Vaggie, Lucifer, Lilith, are another, ect. Now Vox is the sole male heir of a wealthy family--he has tons of sisters, but his oldest sister, Heidi is pissed at him because she thinks he's going to get the Bahamas vacation home--and he doesn't even want it. Now Valentino and Velvette are Helping Alastor clean up a mess where one of his victims victim's wives keep looking for them, so they're planting evidence when Heidi's goons break into their Shared house (Val's, Vel's, Vox's and sometimes Alastor stays over as he's Vox's boyfriend.) And they kidnap Vox, but not before absolutely destroying Vox's setup and setting the house on fire. By the time the group arrives home, the house is completely burned down and Alastor's barely keeping his cool. If Vox died in that fire--well, Alastor's going lose what remains of his sanity. The firemen clear the ashes, and report that there are no bodies. Then Susan, their neighbor tells them about the goons dragging a beat up and unconscious Vox into an SUV before the house started smoking....and she got the license plate--which is registered to Heidi. Valentino instantly calls Vox's Grandfather and let's him know what's going on, and he is pissed! He calls an emergency family meeting where everyone has to come and the only one who doesn't show is Vox--and Heidi attempts to have him disinherited for not showing, not knowing Alastor, Val, Vel, Charlie, Lucifer and Lilith are rescuing the hypodermic man right now and rushing him to the hospital.
Once Valentino texts Vox's Grandfather about all the broken bones and the hypothermia Vox has, he decides Heidi's fate: disinheritece and her share will be split among the other grandchildren, and the vacation home she wanted so badly will be put up for sale.
(Of course Alastor and the others have different plans for Heidi should she ever show her face in New Orleans again.)
This is another creative one! Sadly human aus have taken the backburner mostly because honestly it's really hard to keep reminding myself of Vox's screen. I love this one for just how different it is and hopefully I can come back to this one after the bullshit April is putting me through it over!
I do like brutal stories of family inheritance and siblings being cold and calculated to get what they want. Golden children don't exist in my house, my dad hates us all equally (he loves us I swear) so it really put a different perspective on me to see and read things like this prompt!

Ah, Cuddling for Warmth, my beloved! And yet, I've never written it. So it goes a little something like this:
So did you know that Historical Blackbeard used to frequent the Chesapeake Bay? And that in fall of 1717 he was operating there with Stede Bonnet? Well, your girl is from Maryland, & has come home many a trick-or-treat barely able to feel her fingers.AU where Ed investigated why Stede didn't meet him, & stumbled across the scene with Chauncey. Stede is in shock, non-verbal, white-faced, practically immobile. Ed's survival instincts take over - he gets Stede to the dingy, rowing them away, keeping a running monologue about how everything's going to be ok; they'll be in China before he knows it. Stede eventually comes to himself enough to say "I have to go back." Ed is like, yeah, we can't do that right now. Stede is in full meltdown mode, barely able to choke out disconnected nonsense about "ruin" & "my family" & "I'm a monster." Ed is doing his best to calm him down, but he's only seen Stede like this right before the reveal of his plan to evade the Spanish, & Stede is the one that has it all figured out - is cool & calm & in charge when Ed is freaking out. He has no idea how to be that for Stede. He just keeps talking about China & how nice everything will be & they'll be safe. Eventually Stede snaps "I can't go to China with you! I have to go home! I have to save my family!"
Ed feels it like a slap. It would be one thing if Stede just didn't want to go to China. He'd go anywhere Stede wanted him to. But Stede doesn't want to go anywhere with him. Stede wants to go back to Mary.
"Yeah. Alright. We'll get you back to your family," he says, his voice leaden. "But we can't go now. Two infamous pirates ran out on their Grace & a dead admiral in the woods? There won't be a cove they don't scour trying to find us. Caribbean's gonna be too hot for awhile. We gotta go somewhere until things die down a little."
"Not China."
"Yeah. Not China," Ed agrees, stepping down hard on the urge to sob. Think. You can feel later, but right now you have to think. "I know a place," he says eventually. "Up north. No one will think to look for us there."
Stede doesn't say anything. He's huddled at the other end of the dinghy rocking & staring off into nothing, but he nods his head a little, so Ed takes that as good enough. The rest of the trip back to the Revenge is silent.
A tall ship can travel at up to 10 knots, but usually more around 3-4 (don't look at me like that, I already looked this up for a different fic), & it's ~1800 nautical miles from Bridgetown to Annapolis (go ahead & look at me like that; I DID look that up just now, but I have a nifty little nautical distance calculator bookmarked from the previously mentioned fic), so that's about 24 days journey, which puts them in Maryland around October 28th.
Ed was born in Bristol; though he's spent most of his adult life in the Caribbean, he's got his fair share of chilly, drizzly autumns under his belt.
Stede was Barbados born-&-bred. He's never been so cold & miserable in his life. He's consumed with what Chauncey said, out-of-his-mind with worry for his family (he thought they'd be better off without him. Oh, God! What has happened to them?), & if all that wasn't bad enough, Ed has been so distant since they got back to the ship. Probably it's finally dawned on him just how ruinous his association with Stede really is. Probably he's withdrawing to insulate himself from further contamination.
Good for him.
Since I'm a The Metaphors are Barely Surface Level bitch, it's all about cold as a metaphor for emotional distance & freezing one another out. It all comes to a head on All Hallow's Eve, when temps dip so everything is rimed with frost & Some Contrivance leads Ed to the captain's quarters where he finds Stede, hollow-eyed, feeding his precious library to the fireplace because he's just so damn cold & nothing matters anyway. And then there is bed sharing & cuddling for warmth (& maybe a little Ed having to hold Stede down to keep him there. For me. As a treat). Stede resists because he KNOWS Ed doesn't want to be with him anymore, & he's shouldn't force himself to stay. Ed is all "What the fuck are you talking about, you're the one who wants to leave me." They have a good, healthy row where everything comes out & they realize the idiotic assumptions they've been making & Stede gets to have his Bathtub Moment while Ed holds him. After there are gentle words & kisses, & IDK maybe make-up sex.
The next day they start sailing south again & something, something they'll figure out how to save Stede's family together.
And then I figure out what happens with the actual plot? Or maybe I leave it there, because, LBR, the "plot" was only ever a contrivance to get to the yummy tropes & emotional stuff.

Thinking about Shuggy college au and got to thinking about the relative ages of other characters and now I’m thinking of end of High school aged Frobin. Robin is that loner goth girl turned popular goth girl that is still seen as a bit odd but she’s smart and helpful and has a slightly morbid sense of humor that just endears her to her classmates. Franky is that loud jock who comes to school in way too short shorts even when the weather doesn’t permit for it. You’d think he’s a huge dumbass from the way he acts sometimes but he actually knows a lot of stuff and gets decent grades and is pretty nifty with machines (Also sometimes babysitting his kid neighbor Usopp and teaching him how to not hit his thumb with a hammer). Both of them having this kind of „end of a slow burn“ relationship where Franky is trying to gather his nerves and tell his long term friend that he has feelings for her and it’s completely fine if she doesn’t, but also she’s going to move to college after the end of this school year and he’s afraid about what that means for them and not to mention he’s „smart“ but Robin is like „SMART smart“ and is going to study history and oh GOD what if this is the thing that makes them loose contact and Oh god, oh no, oh fuck.
… probably ends with her just spontaneously taking his hand and asking HIM out, completely oblivious that he has been fretting over this for almost an entire school year. Just felt like the right thing to do to her. A decision she made right that moment.
I... I never really calculated her years in the college au and at first I thought, pft, she won't be that old but then... like she IS around 10/11 years older than Luffy and assuming he's around 5/6 she'd be in her last years of school omg D:' I'm supposed to be good at math how did I not see this???
Also you have no idea how happy I am, this is my first frobin ask I was so happy when I saw it and then my happiness doubled because it's the college au hahaha :')
If I haven't given you a name, can I call you Franon? Or Fronan?? (haha cuz frobin + anon...)
(Edit: by the time I was halfway through writing this post, I realized I've written an entire subplot lol':))
Robin is definitely that weird kid in school that's a bit too smart for her own good and most teachers just think she's a smartass. The type that even though she moved schools and now she's pretty (and still a bit weird, just hides it better), she still has the outcast mentality. She doesn't know how to be herself and she definitely doesn't know what to do, react or even comprehend that someone wants to be friends with her. Let alone to be interested in her romantically.
Franky on the other hand is so outgoing because he's so weird. People will see him in a blizzard in his short shorts and sunglasses and go "how the heck are you not cold". He'd respond with "oh, I'm freezing! I have a parka and two cotton shirts under there!" and people would laugh along. The type to high-five and greet random people he's talked to once as if they've been friends for ages. I feel like he'd also kinda be the class clown but in a somewhat respectful way. There's a meme about someone calling Prometheus a mad lad and then Hermes a Chad, and I feel like that would be his vibe.
Also, I'm sorry Fronan/Franon, but I'm absolutely stealing the idea that Franky babysits Usopp and they have fun arts and crafts type of bonding. He'll need it for the stuff I've been planning for him and Yasopp >:]]]
Everyone assumes he's a moron, but it's until Robin sees him in one of his extracurricular advanced classes that she realizes he's not only smart but funny and fun to be around. It turns out that they also have a lot in common and quickly become friends.
Also him overthinking it and her asking him out is so on brand imo and I absolutely love it. And maybe here comes into play the fact that he's so friendly with everyone so he automatically assumes people like him so he doesn't know what signs for romantic feelings look like? And how she doesn't think anyone could like her in that way? I can imagine him trying to talk himself out of it because she's going places and what could he give her to make her be with him anyway. While she's sitting next to him already planning a schedule for their talks for their long distance relationship.
And of course, their long distance relationship works very well. They both love each other so much they try their best to have at least two or three nights to talk. In fact, their relationship has a very strong foundation of getting to know each other because of the physical separation.
Or so I'd like to think hehe :')

CLASSPECTING DOUBLE LIFE
i've finally got it. a complete, comprehensive, optimised list of classpects and lunar sways for all of the double life members (and a couple of others). by "complete and optimised," of course, i mean it's a complete list of my opinions! if you disagree, nifty! there are too many class/aspect/lunar sway combos for everyone to come to an agreement, this is just the result of my (and some lovely tumblr users) character analysis!
not only is this a list, it's also explanations for each choice i made, so this is going to be long as hell. hopefully it's a bit easier to understand for people that don't know tooooo much about homestuck (or maybe just not knowing too much about classpects bc lets be real that stuff is CONFUSING).
the little (+) and (-) at the end of each class is simply to mark it as an active (+) or passive (-) class. personally, i don't put too much weight into it, but some people might vibe w/ it idk. the other aspect at the end of each aspect is it's opposite.
unlike the twelve classes and aspects, prospit vs derse is a very black and white classification, making it difficult to fit every character perfectly in one slot. as such, you may notice that some people don't fully fit in their assigned dream moon! which is fine—that just means i feel as if they fit more in one over the other. derse and prospit were also said by Hussie to sort of indicate a player's active/passive role in the game, respectively. if someone has a passive class but are a derse dreamer, that probably means that they're utilising the qualities of their passive class in a very distinct and active way—same goes for the opposite. this is not always the case, however, because i honestly forgot about derse and prospit being active/passive until way after i was done slotting them all in. if it works, it works!
as there are fourteen double life members, expect a few characters to have the same class or aspect as someone else! that's just how the cookie crumbles.
hope ur ready. im not.
[disclaimer: technically, these in-depth analyses could be considered SPOILERS for the comic, as they're not fully explained until act six. there are no actual plot spoilers, though, so do what you would like!]
-
DREAM MOONS
Prospit - Flexibly optimistic, Prospit Dreamers are reactive and intuitive. They exist in the present, rather than looking to the future or obsessing over the past, and when making decisions they tend to rely on gut instincts and whatever they're feeling int he moment to guide them. They are quick to act and reliable in crisis, but they have difficulties thinking things through and are often seen as flighty. They are less rebellious than they are adaptable, instead finding away to coexist with authority than fight against it. They are naturally trusting and often project a self into the world that isn't necessarily them. ("-")
Derse - Derse Dreamers are marked by a distinct and restless skepticism. Rebellion is in their blood, and they are prone to fight against everything that moves, regardless of perceived importance to other people. They are cerebral and self-aware, and as such their identities are built on the control they have over their surroundings. They are often inflexible and pessimistic, but they are great problem solvers that face conflict with shrewd, calculating minds. They find sincere vulnerability difficult and often keep people at an arm's length. Living in the moment is hard for a Derse Dreamer; they look towards the future and analyze the past. ("+")

CLASSPECTS
[all aspect descriptions were stolen from dahni, who probably has the best homestuck class/aspect analysis in the fandom. several of the descriptions of powers were stolen from kess, who probably makes the best descriptions of classpect-specific powers in the fandom. they also do lands and fraymotifs. check both of them out for all your classpecting needs!]
[if i call anyone an asshole or a dickhead, please understand that i am referring to them in a /rp sense. i am well aware that they're all lovely people irl! ^^]
Grian - Derse - Witch of Time
Witch - Starts off by breaking the rules and boundaries of their aspect, pushing and manipulating it to its limits at their whim. Must learn when use/manipulation of their aspect is really needed and when it isn't; self-regulation/control. (+)
Time - Repetition, mechanical. Destruction, endings. Precision, impatience, choice. Movement, velocity, music. Literal time. (Space)
Time players are very "fuck the system, fight everything" types of people. They're defensive, impulsive, empathetic and determined problem solvers. They're constantly in motion and it physically pains them to take things as they come, even when doing so may be the safest option. So basically, every iteration of Grian ever falls under Time.
Even if we ignore his current "literally interacting with a rift in space-time that drags things into my base from alternate timelines" lore on Hermitcraft, he's generally that sort of restlessly active, "doesn't know when to stop" kind of person. Goal-focused, values the destination over the journey...he checks all the boxes.
Witches also have that "does things for shits and giggles" swag, and they start of their journey very carefree and shirk responsibility in favour for messing around. Being a Time player, though that quality would probably get sucker punched out of him once their timeline spirals into a doomed timeline and he has to fix that.
In terms of powers, Witches can Manipulate their aspect—being a Time player, that is ridiculously powerful. When fighting an enemy, he could manipulate the timeline of their life—i.e., age them until they're nothing but dust or crank it back until they're a squealing infant (or just plain doesn't exist). All Time players can also time travel, so hopping from timeline to timeline would be absolutely no problem.
Scar - Prospit - Heir of Life
Heir - Starts off with an abundance of their aspect, basically inheriting it and having a natural proficiency regarding it. Must learn how to properly embrace their aspect and learn to manipulate that abundance of it to aide themselves and others. (-)
Life - Healing, positivity, energy. Growing, increasing/raising. Authority/power, luxury, wealth. Rebellion, recklessness, liberation. Literal life, plants, animals, food, youth. (Doom)
I feel like in every bit of content I have ever seen Scar in, he's always got some aspect of Life or another surrounding him. He's been the mayor, he's a savvy businessman, both of which fulfill luxury, authority/power, and wealth requirement. He's apparently a "luscious elf" in HCS9, whatever that means, and his base was a giant tree and he made cookies—plants and food. He's generally just an energetic, happy dude that dies laughing time and time again, always coming back with a grin and that same pep in his step that he always has.
Given these circumstances, I felt as if the Heir of Life was a title that suit him! He just radiates the energy of Life everywhere he goes, and it would make sense for him to need to learn how to wrangle in that innate recklessness that gets him killed over and over—you never know when the death might matter a bit too much and you don't respawn.
Power-wise, Heirs have full agency with their aspect and can sometimes literally become it—while I don't think it would be especially helpful to become a tree, it would make sense for Scar to be able to eventually control plants or even grant them their own agency to help him. Another idea is that he always magically takes on a form to help him just before he dies—i.e., growing gills right before drowning, boosting strength when he desperately needs it, which all might develop into him being able to properly shapeshift into any animal (eventually).
Scott - Derse - Prince of Mind
Prince - Often starts off ghosting their opposite aspect, but not always. They have a tendency to reject their aspect and actively work to fully destroy it within themselves and their surroundings. Must learn to harness their destructive tendencies and utilise them, either to systematically and purposefully destroy their aspect or to destroy using their aspect. (+)
Mind - Rationality, rational decisions, reason, logic, unbiased, impersonal. Apathetic, indifference, equal possibility. Disguises, blending in, perceptions, worldviews. Literal minds, brains, thoughts, memories. (Heart)
Princes are often assholes! Moving on.
In all seriousness, though, Scott gives hella Mind player vibes. He's probably one of the most analytically minded members of this entire group, to a point where it's kind of freaky in comparison to everyone else, but he does kind of do the whole "ghosting their opposite aspect" thing in a sense that he throws the impartiality aspect of Mind out of the window. He'll root himself in stubbornness based on one happenstance, he'll go through ridiculous lengths to maintain a partnership he has (even if it may not be the most beneficial thing in the world), and he's a serial, chronic flirt.
He's also a liar, manipulator, and he does it to benefit himself and his very close teammates. Princes destroy their aspect, and fucking with people's minds and gaslighting them sounds pretty damn similar.
Powers for a Prince of Mind are fucking raw. Destroying someone's mind could literally mean driving them to insanity, and destroying someone's perceptions could mean making them go blind or deaf. He could probably also destroy people's memories, making them an amnesiac in a particular place of his choice (think making them a full amnesiac vs making them forget how to fight). Destroying with Mind gives vibes of sending terrible images into someone's mind, or just plain Mind Spike-ing using telepathy and making people go into shock. Crazy ass mf.
Pearl - Derse - Mage of Blood
Mage - Starts off immensely suffering because of their aspect, be it an overabundance of it, a lack of it, or something in between. Must learn how to overcome that suffering and use the knowledge obtained from it to help themselves and guide others. (+)
Blood - Unity, connection, interpersonal bonds. Commitment, attachment, obligation, promises. Responsibility, dependence. Inflexibility, material, tangible. Literal blood. (Breath)
This one is pretty simple. Pearl has really had the ups and downs of Blood—and in terms of Double Life, it's mostly the downs. Being rejected by not only her soulmate, but also both members of her former team...ouch. Fans of the three Gs wept.
Throughout DL, she tried for alliances time and time again and failed basically every single time, but instead of being destroyed by it—or, at least, instead of being completely destroyed by it—she harnessed her loneliness and channeled it into strength and spite and won the entire game for herself. Suffering because of bonds, unity, connections, and overcoming that suffering to do herself some good? Very Mage of Blood, through and through.
Powers are vague, since Mages are probably the most elusive of the classes we know about, but something like being able to make Literal blood contracts that the game itself wouldn't allow you to break without severe repercussions sounds about right. Probably able to immediately point out what matters to a person most (be it a person, place, or thing), could also very possibly actually be able to see soulmate strings.
Tango - Derse - Heir of Rage
Heir - Starts off with an abundance of their aspect, basically inheriting it and having a natural proficiency regarding it. Must learn how to properly embrace their aspect and learn to manipulate that abundance of it to aide themselves and others. (-)
Rage - Unconditional anger, hate, fear. Refusal, defiance, rejection, skepticism, doubt. Negativity, despair, denial. (Hope)
Another decently cut-and-dry one, Heir of Rage Tango. A very, very fucking dangerous classpect.
As Heirs have an inherent abundance of their aspect, and Rage is, well...Rage, you can easily see what I was going for and why it fits Tango. The man is perfectly amicable sometimes but is prone to flying off the ragehandle and going absolutely off the shits when it comes to bad things happening to him and his allies/friends. He constantly has that bubble of anger underneath his skin that may or may not be be especially useful when it's out of control. Heirs need to learn when to and specifically when not to embrace their aspect in a crucial moment, but I think Tango's probably got it down pat.
That being said, it wouldn't be a good thing for him to smother all of that, either—inverting to a Hope player would do nobody any sort of good, mostly because he would be bad at it and probably bring Down the Hope by forcing himself into apathy. There is a healthy middle! This is why Jimmy and Tango are moirails.
In terms of powers...Jesus Christ. And I really do mean Holy Fuck. As previously stated, Heirs can often turn into their aspect—I would like for you to sit down and imagine what someone turning into the physical embodiment of rage, anger, fury, and every negative thought and feeling you can think of would look like...and then imagine the destruction they could unleash on an entire army of enemies. He would also be able to inspire Rage in others and manipulate it, cranking it up for his teammates to give that boost of righteous justice or cranking it all the way down for enemies, leaving them either hollow and useless or friendly and unnervingly pleasant towards them. He could project his own negative emotions onto others, so if he felt even the smidgen of fear his enemies would feel a horrible anxiousness and terror. Heirs are incredibly versatile, I could make a whole post taking about how fucking wild these powers would be, but one thing is for sure—be very afraid.
Jimmy - Prospit - Page of Doom
Page - Starts off with a lack of their aspect/lack of control of their aspect/at the mercy of their aspect. Must learn how to tap into their full hidden potential with their aspect and provide it to others. Once that full potential is released, they are one of the strongest players in the game. (-)
Doom - Harm, negativity. Caution, control/limits, necessity. Acceptance, withdrawal, equality/wisdom. Things decreasing/lowering. Literal doom, death, technology. (Life)
Pages! Pages are very odd in a sense that "having a deficiency in their aspect" is not exactly the most specific thing ever. It can range from someone with the "freedom, movement" aspect being literally crippled to someone with the "beliefs, optimism" aspect being actually pretty happy and joyful but a complete fucking moron at the same time and overcompensating.
Which basically means I can do whatever the fuck I want lmfao.
We all know about Jimmy's "canary curse," and a curse (or a virus COUGH) sounds like a very Doom-y thing to me—especially considering this curse literally makes him die, or at least become a catalyst for horrible things to happen in the Homestuck sense. He brings about Doom onto himself and others, a Page vibe through and through.
It would make sense to assume, then, that if Jimmy managed to get a handle on this curse, to tap into that inherent aura of destruction and death that he has within himself and simply can't control, he could be pretty fuckin' scary...if it ever happens. There is no guarantee that he will.
Aside from the death part of Doom, he's pretty garbage at all the other parts, too—caution (no), control/limits (no), necessity (no), equality/wisdom (no)—seriously, limits? Rules? The man tried to team with everything that breathed on Double Life, whether they had wronged him or not, and then turned around and remembered "oh yeah, this person wronged us!" and would start working to mess with them. Sir. Please.
Pages are very funny in a sense that they start off as the weakest class that is the least in-touch with their aspect, but as soon as they grasp that spark and utilise it, they are described as one of the most powerful classes. Period. Doom is a very versatile aspect, ranging from literal death to destruction to explosions to corrosion to coding and technology (including the coding and tech of the game itself). Because of this, the powers of a Page of Doom would be pretty nuts—basically being able to harness any sort of destructive, corrosive energy you can think of to fight, and also benefit other teammates with that (think making his teammates' weapons do more damage or deal corrosive damage). He could also somehow manage to exploit loopholes in the game or break shit to make the game skewed towards his favour, but that is DEFINITELY a very high-level thing and doesn't even need to be considered.
We're still talking about Jimmy, here.
Ren - Derse - Sylph of Space
Sylph - Starts off intensely meddling with their aspect, getting into other people's business with it (that is to say, about it and using it), never shutting up about it, forcing their ideas/ideals about it onto other people, and interfering and trying to help others with it in a way that often hurts more than helps. Must learn how to utilise their knowledge and abundance of their aspect in a way that actually helps and heals people and helps and heals their aspect. (-)
Space - Biology, beginnings, creation. Destiny, fate. Variation, ambiguity, patience. Creativity, big picture, literal space, physics. (Time)
Ren is such a good vibes guy, I just had to give him a good vibes Class. And his Aspect is easily the most important one, so the guy is particularly special when it comes to his session! Sylphs have a tendency to go on tangents about their aspect and basically shove it into everyone's faces, and I sort of just connected the fact that Ren is incredibly dramatic and wrangles people into his eccentric bits all the time to his inherent kindness and healer vibes. By "healer vibes" I mean the cool kind of healer, the kind of healer that would heal you and then whirl around with a sword and slice an enemy in half behind them. He gives those vibes.
Also, the canon description of Space players says that "[they understand] that sometimes you have to let something burn to the ground in order to build it back better and stronger than before" and that just reminded me of the whole "Rentheking" thing going on in Hermitcraft. They are endlessly creative and innovative, and they are focused on the big picture rather than the fussy little details...which sometimes makes them a bit vague and hard to pin down, but it's certainly not intolerable in Ren's case.
In terms of powers, Space players obviously have the whole "space, physics" thing going on for them, but a Sylph of Space would be able to do all of that whilst maintaining the least damage to Space itself. They could easily teleport and mend tears in space while also being able to create pocket dimensions if they so pleased. They could heal people by binding shit back together at the molecular level and also probably create healing-based objects.
BigB - Prospit - Rogue of Void
Rogue - Starts off with a feeling of awkwardness surrounding their aspect, believing that they aren't fit for it or it isn't suited for them or believing that it would be better off with someone else. Must learn to embrace their aspect, as it is a part of them, and trust their instincts regarding it and further their innate understanding of its applications so they can take it and redistribute it to help their team. (-)
Void - Secrets, doubt, confusion. Irrelevance, infinite possibilities, indifference. Literal void, lack-of-something, darkness. (Light)
Unfortunately, I cannot say I know too much about Bigb, but from what I can see he seems like a very nice, genuine dude with a penchant for generally being kind. On that same note, I don't think his little "secret soulmates" thing with Grian was born out of maliciousness—becoming "secret soulmates" with someone only to like gossip and trade items and give each other cookies and not actually have it be a substantial secret gives Rogue of Void vibes, especially considering how he seemed to let Grian initiate most of their "secret" interactions.
Ultimately, one could say his unfortunate demise came from him being too active, both as a passive class and as a Void player. Him rushing into a fight in broad daylight with Ren is pretty unbecoming of a Void player, and a bit of irony might be the fact that a) it was Ren died and not him, and nobody really saw him when he died because he was trailing behind and b) it was his "secret soulmate" that did the deed.
In terms of playing the game, I'd probably say that Bigb would have to fall back on and trust that aspect of being low-key that he has, as it will most likely end up being very beneficial for everyone considering a Rogue of Void's skillset!
A Rogue of Void would be able to Steal Nothingness in order to aide others. To steal the absence of something would be Making something, so he can just...create items. Very important items, if need be. Stealing secrecy and darkness and applying it to himself or others implies being able to turn himself and his teammates invisible or something along those lines, also possibly being able to travel through shadows like those mfs from the Princess and the Frog.
Bdubs - Prospit - Seer of Hope
Seer - Starts off passively observing and recording their aspect, forming their own stubborn opinions surrounding it. Must learn to be more open-minded to be able to learn every possible aspect of their aspect and use that knowledge to aide others and guide them into making the right choices. (-)
Hope - Unconditional love, trust, belief, literal hope. Confirmation, acceptance. Optimism, naïve optimism, positivity, euphoria. (Rage)
Hope—beliefs, optimism, trust, literal hope—plus a Seer—knows too much about and doesn't shut up about their aspect—equals someone really good to talk to about your problems and get advice from.
Bdubs simply has that Hope player swag, and he's got big eyes so he's a Seer move on. No, but seriously, he's very thoughtful and cunning sometimes, and I'd say that he often has pretty good plans and definitely has that "relentless fountain of knowledge" vibe that Seers do, especially considering the...[glances at bdubs and hermittwt] recent developments.
In terms of powers, Seers don't really have too much going for them. A Seer of Hope would most likely be able to see people's beliefs, people's loves (take that as you will), and most helpfully, people's intentions. If this was honed to a fine point, it could make him a literal PVP god, but he would probably do best working as a strategist or even a mole/spy. He could also possibly See the happiness level of someone, perhaps having a mood bar over the people he meets (just because it sounds funny). He could most likely also see the most Hopeful outcome in a situation/for one specific persona and guide that situation/person to the best possible outcome. As is a Seer's job!
Impulse - Prospit - Bard of Blood
Bard - Often starts off ghosting their opposite aspect, but not always. They often passively (accidentally/unknowingly/unintentionally) get rid of their aspect in some way or another before having something akin to a reckoning moment where they violently snap back to their aspect and use it to destroy. Must get a firm grip on their destructive tendencies and act more like a catalyst for the destruction of their aspect or destruction through their aspect. (-)
Blood - Unity, connection, interpersonal bonds. Commitment, attachment, obligation, promises. Responsibility, dependence. Inflexibility, material, tangible. Literal blood. (Breath)
Impulse's classpecting is probably one of the more tragic ones on here.
As stated, Bards often inadvertently destroy their aspect in some way or another, and Impulse certainly is no exception. In both 3rd Life and Last Life, Impulse basically got kicked in the ass by/because of his connections, attachments, and bonds—3rd Life being him getting betrayed by Bdubs for one (1) singular clock and Last Life being him being the last member of the Southlands that stuck with Grian and then dying in their wither fight.
Fortunately for Impulse, he's learned from the past two times—now that he is legally obligated to be paired with someone, he's sort of had his "aren't you tired of being nice" moment and proceeded to work with Bdubs, his own bond, to destroy other people's bonds—using Blood to destroy Blood. The man has gone for it both ways. All of this gives hella Bard of Blood vibes, and it's nice to see a Bard not being a complete and total dickhead for once!
Powers are sort of vague, as it is with Blood, but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that while Pearl is able to create blood contracts that people are inclined to uphold because of a threat of something terrible, Impulse would be able to make contracts that are Made To Be Broken. Devil's deal type beat, I would recommend not shaking his hand because one way or another, you're going to fail to uphold your end of the deal...and it will not be pretty for you when you don't. Being able to destroy blood in a literal sense certainly makes one think of several violent things that I probably shouldn't type out—you can get the picture. Destroying connections and unity and bonds gives vibes of someone just making things go wrong around him—machinery and electronics simply stop working, and eventually his very presence could make an entire society break down. Rebel leader Impulse and Oh My Fucking God I just remembered his whole "I'm tired of being nice" thing on HCS9 GUYSSSSS THIS IS GENIUS
Etho - Prospit - Thief of Breath
Thief - Starts off rather selfish and/or self-absorbed, literally or figuratively stealing their aspect from people to benefit themselves without much of a second thought for who they're disservicing. Honestly, they don't really change that—they mostly have to learn how to not be a complete douche with it and grow and further their abilities to become the strongest they can be. (+)
Breath - Freedom, disconnection, detachment. Apathy, indifference. Independence, flexibility, options, liberties. Movement, separation. Literal air/breath, ethereality, intangibility. (Blood)
Etho simply gives vibes of a Breath player. A true Hermit that really gives no shits and teams with who he wants to team with and avoids who he wants to avoid and everyone just sort of has to deal with him or get fucking destroyed by him and Joel. You might even get destroyed by him and Joel while actively trying to appeal to them. Who the hell knows?
Big Thief vibes in him not caring about who he affects and even exploiting it sometimes, and I wouldn't say that he's necessarily selfish, but he certainly doesn't just give things away if it's not going to benefit him in return. Would probably make a pun about himself being "breathtaking."
Obviously, a Thief of Breath could literally steal someone's breath away—manipulating the air in their lungs to come Out of their lungs and making sure none goes back In. Breath also represents freedom and movement, so he could possibly magically slow people down to speed himself up like some sort of fucked up Sonic that actually makes the world around him slow down while he's moving super fast. He could probably eventually lock people in place and use the movement from them to boost himself—if he freezes six people, he can move with the combined speed of all six people. He can probably flash step, the fucking weeb, and can probably dash through the air like the Hollow Knight mc. Stealing using wind and breath, however, gives him more of a stealth aspect—he could move quieter than the breeze, his steps are light as a feather, you wouldn't be able to hear him if you were breathing, etc, etc. He could probably manipulate wind to steal items from people, maybe even doing a windy thing that takes stuff directly out of someone's sylladex (inventory).
Joel - Prospit - Maid of Rage
Maid - Starts off relying on others for advice regarding/for their aspect and having little to no agency surrounding it themselves. Must learn to seek it out on their own and create it where there is none, utilising it for their own needs whilst serving it for others in turn. (+)
Rage - Unconditional anger, hate, fear. Refusal, defiance, rejection, skepticism, doubt. Negativity, despair, denial. Physical pain, suffering. (Hope)
I think out of everyone listed, Joel already had his arc regarding his classpect the longest time ago. He's been acting out the vibe of a Maid of Rage probably ever since Last Life, or even before—I can't say I watched his POV or any surrounding POVs for him during 3rd Life, but I distinctly remember him just Having A Bunch Of Wolves by the end and going apeshit with that.
If Joel does anything at all, it's Creating Rage within himself and within other people. The man went red in session two of Last Life and was a menace until the very end—he stayed alive until the very end after being the first to go red. Rage is Anger, yes, but it's also Conviction and Strength, both things Joel has in pleasant abundance.
Maids make sure their aspect gets the furthest reach possible, which means a Maid of Rage would be spreading hatred, anger, and fear anywhere they can. Sounds Joelish (/mostly joking). He would most likely be able to make enemies feel fear, doubts, regrets, etc. He could amplify pure suffering in people, basically creating pain inside of them, eventually possibly being able to straight up make someone have a heart attack or go into shock from all of that raw pain. He could possibly be able to bring to life people's greatest nightmares and drive people a bit bonkers with that. He could probably root someone to the spot with mere eye contact, and he probably has endless strength and passion or something and simply never gets tired.
Cleo - Derse - Thief of Light
Thief - Starts off rather selfish and/or self-absorbed, literally or figuratively stealing their aspect from people to benefit themselves without much of a second thought for who they're disserving. Honestly, they don't really change that—they mostly have to learn how to not be a complete douche with it and grow and further their abilities to become the strongest they can be.
Light - Reality, awareness, perception, information, knowledge. Illumination, literal light. Luck, probability. (Void)
Thieves are often assholes! Moving on.
Okay, fine. Why, pray tell, did I give Cleo the classpect of one of the most hated character in the series? Well, you see.
She's manipulative. She lies. She hides things. She obfuscates. She's got the bluntness of a Light player and the knack for fucking with people (and proceeding to get away with it) of a Thief. Her constant tendency of blatantly lying to people's faces is, to put it in a metaphorical way, pulling the wool over someone's eyes. Shrouding them in darkness, the lack of knowledge of her shenanigans with Scott and what she's doing to people. Fucking with people's realities, awareness, perception...gaslighting...yeah. Thief of Light.
Powers for a Thief of Light basically had only one aspect of them explored in the comic despite being The Most Prominently Featured God Tier...which is the manipulation of luck. Cleo could steal the luck of other people to increase her luck, which, to put in video game terms, means that she'd boost her chances of getting eight critical hits in a row whilst simultaneously making it so her enemies have a much higher chance of missing eight times in a row. She could literally steal light, probably being able to grant herself night vision of sorts (and, if she felt like it, blinding everyone else in the room). Actually, blinding people would probably be another power, as would stealing knowledge from people, being able to make them useless in battle or even literal babies in terms of brainpower.
Great, that's two people that can basically remove the brains of anyone they come across and make them go blind. This really bodes well for this session. /s
Martyn - Derse - Knight of Heart
Knight - Starts off with a decent grasp on their aspect but a crippling lack of self-confidence in regards to it (also in general, sometimes). Must learn to trust themselves and their instincts in regards to their aspect and protect it/use it to protect others. (+)
Heart - Emotions, feelings. Personality, bias. Passion, impulses, instincts. (Mind)
Martyn, I feel, is one of the most passionate members of the Life series in general. He basically has a casting type of being a protector/defender and has ever since 3rd Life, where he was Ren's right hand. His passion and his handle on his instincts in a skilled manner really portrays how Knights use their aspect as a weapon: Martyn fights with his whole being and soul behind what he believes in, and he protects anything he's passionate about defending with just a bit more oomph than anyone else could.
Of course, being a Knight, they feel as if they have some sort of deficiency in their aspect despite them just...not. His relationship with Cleo in Double Life could be a good example: his stubbornness to change his mind about his actions in session one being helpful is Heartish, but the inherent confusion that came with Cleo not immediately changing her mind is sort of Knightish. His increasingly desperate attempts to "get her back" (including that horrendous red...box) all the while trying to maintain that idea of him being in the right when it's becoming more and more obvious that he very much might not have been actually gives vibes of a Knight who's powering through his Knight Arc (or whatever) and putting his foot down and trusting his gut about the matter. And lo and behold, even while he was blatantly refusing to accept responsibility, he and Cleo still managed to become acquaintances faster than Scott and Pearl did.
Him managing to pull that off just shows how good of a handle on his aspect he has, especially when he absolutely refuses to waver on it like he may have done in the past. I think after the situation with Cleo, he would learn that he has his own agency to make his own decisions about who and what he wants to protect instead of only relying on others for it like in the past. That isn't to say he can't latch himself to people and groups like he did before—it is in his nature after all—but post-this arc, I belive he would realise that he's down to break away from those or start his own shit at any moment he wants.
Powers for a Knight of Heart most obviously includes soul weapons. He left his sword at home and forgot to put it back in his strife specibus Oh No He Didn't. That Is A Glowing Sword Come Out Of His Chest. It could change into any style of weapon he wants, and once it becomes easier to maintain, he could probably just make any necessary tools or weapons he can think of. Heart players have this silly ability to splinter, which is basically fracturing their soul to make manifestations of themselves. Eventually, Martyn could possibly be able to summon a shitton of those guys with all their own strengths and weaknesses and individual prowesses. He would probably get a really sick boost of strength when defending himself and his friends.
-
BONUS (SPRITES):
Mumbo - Prospit - Knight of Mind
Knight - Starts off with a decent grasp on their aspect but a crippling lack of self-confidence in regards to it (also in general, sometimes). Must learn to trust themselves and their instincts in regards to their aspect and protect it/use it to protect others. (+)
Mind - Rationality, rational decisions, reason, logic, unbiased, impersonal. Apathetic, indifference, equal possibility. Disguises, blending in, perceptions, worldviews. Literal minds, brains, thoughts, memories. (Heart)
Mumbo is sooo Knight-coded it's insane. Yes you little skroinkle bimble-doo you are so good at everything you set your mind to and you do it with ease but you will never acknowledge it will you. You are so silly and Knightish. (<- going insane. this is the last analysis i have to do.)
This isn't to say that Mumbo has low self-esteem or anything, he's just fucking brilliant and he really never seems to embrace it or say anything about it. The guy is smart, maybe not necessarily clever, but certainly smart, and he's decently rational when you compare him to the rest of the Hermits. He could probably out-logic anyone that decided to try and argue logic with him, but as soon as someone like Grian comes in with his nonsensical roundabout reasoning, I'd suspect that Mumbo would crumple like a tin can.
Unfortunately, for this type of Knight, I can't really say "HE PULLS A BLADE OUT OF XYZ," but I will say that he'd most likely have some sort of mind control/brainwashing nonsense he could implement in people. His brain would process things like a supercomputer, and while Mumbo seems like he would be a pretty passive player, if it came down to it in a fight, he'd be able to analyse the enemy's fighting style like fucking JARVIS or basically slow-mo an attack in his mind to figure out how to expertly dodge bullets.
Lizzie - Derse - Witch of Light
Witch - Starts off by breaking the rules and boundaries of their aspect, pushing and manipulating it to its limits at their whim. Must learn when use/manipulation of their aspect is really needed and when it isn't; self-regulation/control. (+)
Light - Reality, awareness, perception, information, knowledge. Illumination, literal light. Luck, probability. (Void)
Okay to be completely real I don't have an in-depth explanation for this one with examples and everything you're just going to have to trust me alright.
Lizzie individually has the swag of both a Witch and a Light player, and together it forms a person who's as clever as they are vaguely ditzy. That is to say, she could outsmart your ass at any given time of day, but once the knowledge that would allow her to do that is deemed irrelevant, it's basically forgotten until an "oh shit, I forgot about that" moment happens.
Witches are generally friendly people that really enjoy messing around with their aspect towards the beginning of the game. As Light deals with knowledge and whatnot, this classpect implies dicking around with people (but not in a particularly malicious way, Unlike Some Other Light Players I Know) and knowledge and information, and having some sort of connection with light and manipulating attention. Bright pink hair and also fairy vibes, anyone?
Powers for a Witch of Light vary as much as the aspect does, but the first think I can think of is the fact that Lizzie can literally deal radiant damage. She could make lazerbeams of pure light or open up the colour spectrum to things Humans Shouldn't Be Able To See. She could also manipulate luck, which is hilarious—"hey, Lizzie, what are the chances of a comically oversized anvil dropping on this hoarde of imps in front of us rn?" "uh...id give it a good 100%" [CLANG]
Skizz - Derse - Knight of Blood
Knight - Starts off with a decent grasp on their aspect but a crippling lack of self-confidence in regards to it (also in general, sometimes). Must learn to trust themselves and their instincts in regards to their aspect and protect it/use it to protect others. (+)
Blood - Unity, connection, interpersonal bonds. Commitment, attachment, obligation, promises. Responsibility, dependence. Inflexibility, material, tangible. Literal blood. (Breath)
I watched two hours of Skizz content (a few eps. of his Last Life POV) to formulate this so kindly forgive me if it is inaccurate.
In the context of Last Life (as that is basically the only frame of reference I have), he assigned himself to the position of leader of BEST and took it incredibly seriously, dedicating valuable time to setting up plans, maps, and failsafes for the team—i.e., the secret respawn room in the bunker. He prided himself on making sure the team was a completely well-oiled machine that would stay functioning and stay together no matter what happened.
It did happen once or twice where he'd pushed the team a little harder than necessary in a very "just in case," "this needs to be perfect" kind of way, especially considering the practice regarding the TNT cannon. There were also moments when a team leader probably would have been most fit to step up and help the members sort through something (especially regarding interpersonal ordeals) and he did little to nothing at all, sitting back and letting Bdubs or Etho take care of it.
Overcompensating for and underestimating their ability to handle their aspect is a very Knightish thing, and as had been made clear, he was a very team-oriented guy. I mean, the man was such a good leader that the BEST team even managed to fully maintain itself while he was red and actively against them, and only started falling apart after he fully lost all of his lives, and even while he was red, he said himself that he couldn't bring himself to really hurt his team—his brothers—and still wanted to see them succeed.
So many damn Blood players...why did I repeat the aspect that we know basically NOTHING ABOUT.
As Knights weaponise their aspect, Skizz having a similar thing to Martyn would make sense, except instead of being able to draw weapons from his soul like a goddamn Crystal Gem, he could manipulate his own blood to turn into cool weapons instead. Alternatively, if the mental image of giving yourself a wound to make a weapon isn't your cup of tea, I could also potentially see him getting a specific weapon based on who it is he's fighting alongside. Hemokinesis is an obvious one, which can be used in several versatile ways—from healing to straight up bloodbending.
Skizz is a sprite because the universe had to fucking NERF HIM
-
CONCLUSION
This session is fucking doomed.
There are two Thieves. Two Active Rage players. A Thief and a Prince in an alliance. A Bard of Blood. A Page of Doom that's probably cursed/virused to Doom whatever session he's a part of or something like that.
The members of the team that would probably benefit their more unstable participants are all sprites.
Yeah, no. They all die at the end.
Thank you for reading!

Hey! i really REALLY love ur stuff!
Can i ask you to write some Roquefort x Reader fluff 🙇‍♀️💕✨
thank you so much ✨
꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦
Warnings: Nothing other than some talk of Roquefort being frustrated and stressed and Kale being the douchbag that he is
Author’s Snip: I'm starting to like Roquefort a little more and more now. I already liked his character even though we only saw him and his character for a bit
I’ll shut up now. Enjoy! And don’t be afraid to request.
꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦
Hold him, please, he's so stressed and he's probably gonna explode with all that stress and frustration
Roquefort can be nice when he wants to be. He's only nice and polite to those who he thinks is deserving of it. And obviously he's nice to you because you're his partner
I can see that this man can have a soft underbelly so sometimes he's actually able to chill for a moment and enjoy things
You're actually a very lovely sense of stress relief by either talking to him as he works or offering that he take a little break and maybe lay his head on your lap for a moment
I know Roquefort is a big guy. Like an actual unit. But I'm sure he can still lay his head on your lap
If you know how to run numbers and crunch them then that would be pretty nifty. Of course he handles almost all of it but if you don't mind being a dear and double checking or cleaning the calculations up then he'd love that
The bosses, mostly Kale cause he's a snarky asshole, calls you Roquefort's assistant or stress toy since you're always helping him either calm down or make the flow of his work faster
Roquefort hates that because he sees you as so much more
He doesn't show or say it much unless in private but he very much adores you and the wonderful help that you give just by being with him and being there for him as well

You ever think of a theory that you’re like 90% sure isn’t true, and you don't even necessarily wish it was true, but that it would be really interesting if it were true and you could kind of see how it could be true?
Here’s one that’s been on my mind for a while now.
So in the co-op for Portal 2, GLaDOS says the following:
“I never expected you to make it this far. To be honest. After your performance in the calibration test, I was ready to break down your cores. And put them back in the scientific calculators I took them from. But you two have become quite the team. Extremely close. I have only met one other team closer. And one of them was an imbecile I had to destroy. And the other? Well... I don’t think I want to go through that again.”
Obviously, this team is supposed to be Chell and Wheatley, and as I implied above, I don’t disagree that their team is the one spoken about here and that’s the way (uh-huh, uh,huh) I like it (uh-huh, uh-huh).
However (and follow me on this), my oddball brain for the longest time has made me think of the lines in a different way -- I feel like the lines above could just as easily be about Chell and GLaDOS.
GLaDOS could be referring to Chell as the imbecile she had to destroy and herself as the one who she finds herself unwilling to deal with again.
So what makes me say as much?
I have a few reasons, and I’ll explain them below the cut.
You here? Nifty!
Well first, let’s talk about Wheatley.
I think it's interesting to note that GLaDOS said she "destroyed" Wheatley in this quote when...she really didn't. Yes, she effectively banished him from Aperture, but banishment and destruction are two very different things. I mean, GLaDOS knows more about Aperture hardware than anyone and the environmental conditions it can withstand. I'm sure she realizes on some level that Wheatley didn't die when she flung him off into space, so “destroy” is a bit of a disingenuous term.
Additionally, Chell disappeared from her life in a similar manner when you consider the broad strokes. GLaDOS releases Chell, telling her not to come back (Again, I’m just talking about the broad strokes here). So “destroy” -- while a stretch -- could make sense as a descriptor, especially if GLaDOS is playing the whole thing up to impress a certain audience.
And that brings me to my next point -- the audience to whom GLaDOS is bringing this small, semi-tall tale to: Atlas and P-Body.
GLaDOS, while relatively softer with her bots than she has been with most anyone else in this series, still seeks to keep up a piercing reputation of sorts with them. And the more I think about it, that makes sense from GLaDOS’ POV. After all, she’s underestimated opponents in the past and has paid serious consequences for that, so she might want to double down on her authority with these new test subjects.
Even while complimenting Atlas and P-Body, GLaDOS puts in subtle means of intimidation, and this paragraph alone shows that off in more than just one way. Just look at how she implies that she can put the bots back into scientific calculators at any time. Furthermore, even while she’s giving them praise for their teamwork, she implies a consequence for resting on the laurels of their closeness by disclosing (however vaguely) the fates of the last team she saw get so close. Shortly after this conversation, she even reinforces that sentiment by trying to turn Atlas and P-Body against each other for the next few chambers.
All this to say that GLaDOS doesn’t want to appear weak before these two bots.
‘Where am I going with this,’ you ask?
I’m glad you’re asking questions, my inquisitive little reader!
So when GLaDOS says, “I don’t think I want to go through that again,” no matter what way you dice it, she’s putting a veil over her vulnerabilities and when it comes to Chell, there are more than one place that GLaDOS’ vulnerabilities can stem from.
In the most conventional reading of the above quote, GLaDOS painting Chell in such a way likely refers to (1) an emotional difficulty she feels from letting Chell go (For any number of reasons), (2) the embarrassment she felt with being a potato and needing to rely on Chell so much during the events of Portal 2, (3) learning about and coping with her traumatic history as Caroline, or (4) all of the above.
Now, I believe for the idea that I posit here, if GLaDOS was saying that she doesn’t want to go through what she did again, all of these above sentiments would fit in this situation.
Finally, this is a mini-point (I honestly didn’t have a better place to put it), but obviously, GLaDOS calling Chell an imbecile still lines up with this idea, as (1) GLaDOS is just never one lacking for insults (It’s what makes her so fun to write) and (2) GLaDOS is trying to tell the story about the formerly close team in a certain way that will maintain her present reputation with her bots as a strong, sharp figure as well as show them consequences for acting up. Colorful language as well as insults are in-character and effective ways to do that.
Again, I don't necessarily believe this idea or even really want it to be true, but that thought that it feasibly could be true in some way has been on my brain for a while.

March 2024 FEH Refine Theorycraft
Tumblr media
Yeah Yeah Yeah Let's go! Quick!
Tumblr media
Seiros: Saint of Legend
Lvl. 40 5 ☆ 40/42/18/37/40 Max Invest: 49/51/26/45/49
Aurora Breath: Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat, grants Atk+6 to unit during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. If foe initiates combat, grants Def/Res+6 during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.
Glacies - Mirror Impact / Atk/Res Scowl 4 - Dragon Wall 3 - Wings of Light+
Wings of Light+ If the number of Mythic Hero allies on team ≤ 3 (including unit), grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X (X = turn number + 3; max 8) and "reduces damage from attacks (excluding area-of-effect Specials) by 30%" to Mythic Hero allies (excluding unit) during their combat. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 and Special cooldown charge +1 (only highest value applied; does not stack) per attack to allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit during their combat. If there is a Mythic Hero ally on your team (excluding unit), or if there is an ally within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, reduces damage from attacks during combat by 30% (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack).
Saint Seiros is getting her remix and refine this month. What was just a combat Mythic that buffed only other Mythic now has more utility by granting Special cooldown charge+1 in a box aura around herself to her allies, regardless of status. Atk/Res Scowl and Dragon Wall make great use of her Res. Now it’s just the breath. It does have nifty gimmick of granting her offensive in player phase and defense in enemy phase. I could double down and give her more offensive effects in player phase and more defensive effects in enemy phase but instead, I’m just leveling the effects out to make her mix phase.
Aurora Breath: Grants Atk+3. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk+6 to unit during combat and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. At the start of combat, if foe initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75%, grants Def/Res+6 during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.
At the start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grant Atk/Def/Res+5 to unit, deal damage = 20% of foe’s Res, reduce damage by 20% of unit’s Res, and restores 7 HP to unit after combat.
Seiros is getting the 3 recurring conditions, granting her Atk/Def/Res+9, omni breaker, true damage that breaks through Res (like her Fallen form), reduced damage based on her Res (like her regular form, albeit on both of foes hits rather than just the follow-up), and self-healing (like in True Dragon Wall).
Tumblr media
Dagr: Sun's Radiance
Lvl. 40 5 ☆ 41/39/41/30/25                 Max Invest: 50/48/50/38/33
Skinfaxi: Grants Spd+3 and [Pathfinder]. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each of those stats × 2. (Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+19, for a net bonus of Atk+12.) Calculates each stat bonus independently.
Dragon Fang - Atk/Spd Push 4 / A/S Hexblade - Sun-Twin Wing+ - Even Tempest 3
Sun-Twin Wing+: At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-5 on foe, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and prevent unit's follow-up attacks, deals damage = 20% of unit's Spd (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by 50% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials).
Dagr is the tom boy princess of Jötunheimr, with big muscle and a pet hawk. Jötunheimr are just basketball player big, and not two stories tall or something the chibi artist can’t handle. It’s sort of like how the Niðavellir aren’t that Dwarfish, and just normal-size short. I feel the pet hawk is there to compensate for that.
Anyway, it is funny that Sun-Twin Wing was just NFU with extra stats, and then got powercrepted by Phys. NFU. She now got that fixed and got more true damage out of it.
Skinfaxi: Grants Spd+3 and [Pathfinder]. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X to unit during combat (X = 5 + highest penalty on each stat between unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit; x 2; Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+19, for a net bonus of Atk+12; calculates each stat bonus independently) and reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat by 40% ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes).
At the start of turn, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grant Atk/Spd+5 and “Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack)” to unit and allies within a 2-tile radius, and grant [Pathfinder] to allies within 2 tile radius of unit, for 1 turn. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit during combat, neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge-X" on unit, and restores 7 HP to unit after combat.
Pathfinder is pretty cool. It would be cooler if she could Galeforce around. It would be even cooler if she provided Pathfinder to her allies make a super Galeforce team. Her new years version provides this. So, I did that. She and her allies can now Special Charge and Pathfinder, with extra Atk/Spd to go with it. I also thrown in 40% DR, Null Gaurd, and 7 healing after combat.
Tumblr media
Micaiah: Dawn Wind's Duo
Lvl. 40 5 ☆ 39/39/20/19/38                 Max Invest: 49/49/29/28/48
Joyful Vows: Effective against armored and cavalry foes. Grants Atk+3. If [Bonus] is active on unit, grants Atk/Res+6 during combat, and if unit initiates combat, foe cannot make a follow-up attack.
Sacrifice - Atk/Res Push 4 - Mystic Boost 3 - Atk/Res Oath 3
Sacrifice: Converts penalties on target into bonuses. Restores HP to target = unit's current HP-1. Reduces unit's HP by amount restored.
Duo Skill: Grants [Dominance] to unit and allies within 3 columns centered on unit. Inflicts Def/Res-7 on foes within 3 columns centered on unit through their next actions.
[Dominance] Unit deals additional damage = total penalties on foe for 1 turn.
If these two found family siblings shouldn’t get Dou alt with them dressed as bride and groom, while not getting married themselves, speak now, or forever hold your piece. Just kidding, I don’t wanna hear it. It happened, let’s move on.
Micaiah and Sothe are armored and cavalry effective unit’s with a high Atk/Res nuke playstyle, with Sacrifice assist and a Duo button action that “Asserts their dominants” on to foe’s, letting all her allies benefit from the Broadleaf that Summer!Lilian had, dealing extra damage based on the total amount of penalties on foe. [Dominance] is also required for her weapons to get the conditions required, but she has the Oath skill as well. Anyway, what is she going to do with her refine?
Joyful Vows: Effective against armored and cavalry foes. Grants Atk+3. If a [Bonus] is active on unit or a [Penalty] is active on foe, grants Atk/Res+6, foe cannot make a follow-up attack, and inflict Special Cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat.
So, I just gave her Guard, and increased the condition to include penalties on foe. It’s easy to do with her Duo button, but what if she could get both?
At start of turn, inflicts Atk/Spd-6, and [Panic] on foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit with Res < unit's Res through their next actions, and grant “If unit initiates combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack” to unit and allies within 2 tile radius for 1 turn. If unit initiate combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Res+6 to unit during combat, and reduces damage from foe's first attack by X% (X = 2 × total penalties on the foe within 2 spaces of target, including target, who has the highest total penalties)
Borrowing from Yune now, Micaiah now inflicts Atk/Spd-6 and [Panic] to get even more penalties on the foe, just to get [Guaranteed follow-up] added on, to further push the damage that Dominance + Effective damage will give her. And to add insult to injury, she has the Damage Reduction that Yune got in her refine, with it being equal to the total penalties on foe, or foe’s in 2 spaces, whoever has the higher total. Normally, it’s 6 x 4 = 24 total penalties, with [Dominance], that’s made into more damage. But with Panic, if the foe has 6 bonuses in all stats, that another 24, or 48 extra damage per attack. With the DR, it’s 96%, but the Dou button inflicts Def/Res-7, so add 2 to 48 for 50 True damage, and x 2 for 100% DR. I can only make this much DR work on the first hit, so brave attacks can hurt her, unless her Res is too high, or the foe’s Atk is lowered too low. Also, Damage Reduction Piercing is a thing. So, this will be a really helpful support unit.
Tumblr media
Annette: Overachiever
Crusher: Grants Atk+3. Calculates damage using the lower of foe’s Def or Res. If a Rally Assist skill is used by unit, grant target “if unit initiate combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack”, “Special Cooldown Charge +1 per attack,” and unit can move 1 extra space (That turn only. Does not stack.) At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat.
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +X to unit (X = 4 + highest bonus on each stat between unit and allies within 3 spaces of unit; calculates each stat bonus independently), reduces damage from foe’s first attack by 30%, and grant damage equal to X% of foe’s Atk (if foe uses breath or beast, X = 20; otherwise, X = 10; including when dealing damage with a Special triggered before combat), and after combat, inflict inflicts Def/Res-5 and [Guard] on target and nearest foes within a 3 tile radius.
Man, I was cooking something with this one. Giving "Guaranteed follow-up" and Special Charge on a +1 mov unit is incredible, but don't know if it's nessesary when there are so many more source of those effect. Even I suggested the special charge for Dagr. The ture damage based on foe's Atk could be made a normal 10% rather than the fun reference to the combat art Ash. The rest makes her desent for a combat unit, when she could have rallied instead. Just give her another action after rallying.
Tumblr media
Corrin: Bloodbound Beast
Brutal Breath: Grants Spd+3. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X during combat. (Calculates X based on number of allies within 2 spaces of unit: 0 allies grants +7; 1 grants +5; 2 grants +3; 3 grants +1; ≥4 allies grants +0.) If the number of allies within 2 spaces is ≤ 1, grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit and inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack (only highest value applied; does not stack) If foe’s Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe’s Def or Res.
At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat and reduces damage from foe’s first attack by X% (X = 30 - number of allies within 2 spaces of unit × 10; min 0%). At start of combat, if unit’s HP ≥ 25% and unit’s Atk > foe’s Res, unit’s first attack deals damage = X% of difference between stats (X = 30 - number of allies within 2 spaces of unit × 10; min 0%).
Eh, it's Corrin. They could anything but this was a safe bet.
Tumblr media
Midori: Reliable Chemist
Lucky Apothecary Bow: Effective against flying foes. At the start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of unit, restore 7 HP to unit and allies within 2 spaces, and also, if unit’s HP > 25%, grant [Golden Bar] to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn. At the start of combat, if unit’s HP > 25%, grant Atk +7 to unit and inflict Atk-7 on foe during combat. [Golden Bar] Unit deals damage +10 and takes damage -10, but after combat, this bonus is removed.
At the start of combat, if unit’s HP > 50% or if [Bonus] is active on unit, grant Def/Res+5 to unit and inflict Def/Res-5 on foe during combat, grant unit guaranteed follow-up attack, prevent foe’s follow-up attack, and inflict Special cooldown charge-1 on foe per attack.
Well, since this will be the Lucky Bow rather then the Apothecary bow, the odds that my Golden Bar gimmick will be out the window, but I had fun making it. She might get Miracle or something now.
Tumblr media
Gangrel: Plegia's Mad King
Levin Dagger: Grants Res+3. If unit initiates combat or [Penalty] is active on foe, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit and deals damage = 20% of unit's Res during combat. Effect: [Dagger 7]
At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Res+6 and "if unit initiates combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack during combat by 40%" to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn, and also, if one of those allies is a magic user, grant [Hexblade] additionally. If unit’s HP ≥ 25% or [Bonus] is active on unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 20% of unit's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials) during combat.
We just got another GHB that hads out Hexblade like candy, so I would remove the "If you got a magic user" from the condition.
And there you go . . . bye.

She drove like a demon, zigzagging the nifty little convertible up I-95, a woman on a mission. She’d started the two-hour journey with the top down, her long brown stuffed under a Red Sox cap, reluctantly putting up the roof when rain clouds opened up near Princeton.
An eclectic playlist of classic rock, blues, hip-hop and contemporary hits blasted away, her soulful voice joining in the chorus when the mood called for it. Her green eyes sparkled with joy as she recalled the last road trip with her twin and how they’d played car karaoke to pass the time.
The rain was a distant memory by the time Eloise Ramsey exited the Lincoln Tunnel and drove through Midtown Manhattan and into the Upper West Side. She entered the security code for the underground garage, waited for the gate to close behind her and then zipped her car into the assigned spot minutes later.
Checking her wristwatch as the elevator ascended, she roughly calculated the time it would take to hike eight blocks to the dance studio near Lincoln Center. She had just enough time to drop off her overnight bag and grab a bottle of water. Perfect timing.
A haunting melody filled the air, telling the story of love found and love lost, of obstacles to face, and evil to defeat. The dancers faced the mirror and moved in sync with the music, arms and feet starting in first position and ending in fifth; following directions of a demanding instructor whose talent had once graced the most storied stages in the ballet world.
Lost in the intricacies of the choreography, Sophie Ramsey’s body flowed effortlessly with the music while her green eyes sharpened in concentration. Her foot barely touched the wooden floor as she executed a series of pirouettes, her arms in first position, holding her chest and keeping her breathing measured.
“Good job, everyone. That’s a wrap for today,” clapped Madame Juliette as the sequence came to a close and the dancers deflated where they stood. “Sophie, watch your turnout; the end was slightly wobbly. Emily, tuck in your stomach on first. Remember everyone, we only have three weeks until the fall season opener.”
The door to the studio had barely closed behind Madame when it slammed open and then Sophie was rushing into her sister’s arms. The twins hugged each other close, whispering “I missed you” over and over, and admitting with just those three words how unbearable their separation of the last few weeks had been.
After a lifetime together, for the first time they were living in different cities. El had moved to Philadelphia for grad school last month while Sophie stayed in New York to begin her first professional role in the corps de ballet of the revered American Ballet Theatre company.
Sophie was the first to pull back. “What are you doing here? Don’t you have classes today?”
“Just in the morning,” said El, nodding to the departing dancers and accompanying her sister to the far side of the room to collect her things. “I lit out as soon as I saw that asshat’s post. Did Garrett Bloody Davenport the Fourth seriously break up with you on Picta?” She frowned as she recalled the notification that had popped up on her phone with the words ‘Finally free’. “What kind of fucked up fuckhead does that? And to my sister of all people?”
Sophie silently groaned as El continued making up inventive and insulting names for her ex-boyfriend with every sentence. She pulled on trackpants and a hoodie over her tights and leotard, sat down to put her sneakers on, and waited for her sister to finish her tirade.
“Why am I more upset about this than you?” El demanded, brows snapping together, hands on her hips, and looking too much like Doctor Ramsey facing off against innocent interns (a comparison they’d heard from their mother on more than one occasion).
Sophie sighed and uncrossed her legs to get off the floor in a single fluid motion, swinging her dance bag over one shoulder.
“He bruised my ego, not my heart,” she said, reaching for her sister’s hand. “Did it hurt coming into work today and have everyone staring at their phone, whispering about me? Yes. He didn’t even have the decency to tell me first. But, I have a season opener to get ready for and I won’t throw away everything I worked so hard for because of him. Besides, he was not my soulmate. It’s that simple.”
“Well, I want to chop his balls off and feed them, inch by inch, to the bottom-feeders in the Hudson,” exclaimed El, throwing her hands up in exasperation at her sister’s calm demeanor.
“Why not the East River?” mused Sophie curiously. “It’s more polluted.”
“The chemical runoff in the Hudson is worse,” El shrugged. “Looks can be deceiving, just like Garrett Buttface Davenport the Fourth.”
Sophie burst into laughter as much at the nonchalance in her sister’s voice as the childish insult. “I’m so glad you’re here!”
“Ditto,” El grinned and slung an arm around Sophie’s shoulder as they walked out of the studio and outside into the street “I’m taking you out tonight to celebrate your freedom from that jerkwad . Tits out, skirts up, a little dancing and a whole lotta drinking. The Ramsey Twins are taking Manhattan and no one’s safe!”
Later that night, a town car stopped outside a nondescript building in the Meatpacking District with a line of potential club patrons waiting to enter. The bouncer saw two attractive young women climb out of a car looking and smelling like money and waved them through before the paparazzies could even aim their devices, much to El and Sophie’s delight.
True to El’s word, their dresses were short enough and heels high enough to make the most of their legs, and at almost five-feet-eleven there was a lot of leg on display. And while their tits weren’t exactly out, the expensive fabric hugged the curves so that more than a few eyes tracked their movements as soon they entered the club.
Swirling lights, loud, pumping music, and the energy inside was intoxicating and the looks they received flattering enough to quickly forget hurt pride and a bruised ego. With a silent exchange and a nod, they descended to the packed dancefloor and joined the crowd feeding off of the adrenaline and dancing to the DJ mixing the tunes.
Sophie placed her hands on El’s shoulders and they let the fast-paced rhythm carry them away, long, dark hair swinging around them. When the beat changed and everyone started jumping, they held on, laughing as they turned their backs to each other, hips twisting, hands in the air, letting their bodies vibe with the music.
They held hands as they changed sides, and switched up partners every now and then, matching their steps to that of other dancers under the pulsating lights. But always they found each other. And when the DJ took a break, the sisters were breathless, falling into each other’s arms and giggling as their legs protested the vigorous exercise in high heels.
“Water,” panted Sophie. “I’m begging you!”
“No way, sis,” El said, leading Sophie to the bar where she caught the eye of a cute bartender and placed their order.
“Hydration after dancing is better than alcohol,” Sophie pouted, her throat parched from thirst.
El scoffed as Sophie knew she would. “Clearly I came back just in time if that’s your first thought. We’re young, we’re beautiful, and we’re in New York’s hottest club right now. We’re doing shots!”
The bartender returned with their drinks, lining up six rainbow-colored shots in front of them with a wink. El picked up one and so did Sophie.
“Alright, you know the rul…” El began but Sophie threw back the first shot in one quick move, slamming the empty glass down and picking up another.
“You snooze, you lose,” she smirked and the race was on to see who’d finish first. It was too close to call and, with the bartender playing referee, they agreed on a tie.
Sophie glanced around the club and thought back to how many of these places El had dragged her to, even back home in Boston. Whether it was with their group of friends or cousins, or just the two of them, her sister had a way of making a night out fun and memorable.
Tears gathered as she remembered that El was only here for today and tomorrow she would be alone again.
“Uh-oh,” El teased. “If this is about Asshole the Fourth, we’re going to need more shots.” She started to lift her hand to order more but Sophie shook her head.
“I wouldn’t waste my tears on that moldy bowl of mayonnaise,” Sophie said dismissively and then her expression became crestfallen. “I hate that you’re not down the hall anymore. The room is still yours, of course, but it’s not the same! Soon you’re going to be too busy with classes and working in the Philly hotel and won’t have time to come up here whenever.”
She peered into her sister’s eyes, a mirror of her own just like the rest of her and could tell that El felt the same. They could read each other perfectly, always had. Growing up sucked if it meant their careers would take them away from each other.
“Let’s get out of here,” El said, reaching for her credit card to pay for their drinks. “Slumber party back at our place?”
“Popcorn with extra butter, M&Ms, and gummy bears?” asked Sophie, perking up.
“Is there any other way to eat popcorn?” El quipped with a twist of her lips.
They pushed their way through the wall-to-wall crowd that had grown in the last hour or so, heading towards the exit. Passing by a booth, Sophie suddenly cried out when someone grabbed her hand and tugged her onto their lap, wrapping their arms tight around her.
“Hey! Get your hands off my sister.”
El reached Sophie instantly, throwing her harasser, who was clearly drunk, a nasty look as she pushed his hands away and started to pull Sophie off him. It would have been fine if right at that moment someone hadn’t crashed into her, causing her to teeter on her heels and fall on the drunken clubgoer.
Unfortunately for him, when El’s hands tried to find purchase she smashed his balls into the seat and his high-pitched screams tore through the club. The more she struggled to get off him, the worse it became until, thankfully, Sophie was able to pull her upright and hold her arm for balance.
By then the club’s security had been alerted to the altercation and minutes later both Sophie and El found themselves being unceremoniously shown out of the club’s back door.
“Ohmigod, ohmigod, ohmigod…” Sophie broke off into giggles. “Did we just get thrown out of New York’s hottest club?!?”
“Hmm. And we didn’t even have to punch someone like mom and Uncle Max did,” said El, laughing as she jumped on Sophie’s back, locking her hands around her collarbone.
Sophie laughed too as they spun around the semi-lit alley. “Nope, we just neutered some poor guy who was too drunk to know what he was doing and will likely have sore balls courtesy of the Ramsey Twins.”
“He messed with the wrong twins,” said El, taking her phone out of a tiny purse to text their driver. “Did it work?” She asked, pocketing the phone as they started to walk towards the mouth of the alley.
Sophie looked over confused and then her face cleared as she remembered what tonight was about. “Don’t even remember his name.”
“Right answer.”
Later that night as they sat on the floor munching on popcorn and sharing confidences, they knew that life was full of uncertainties. But the one thing Eloise and Sophie could be certain of was that they would always stand up for each other. It was them against the world. Sisters. Twins. Always.

Unveiling Market Insights: Exploring the Sampling Distribution, Standard Deviation, and Standard Error of NIFTY50 Volumes in Stock Analysis
Introduction:
In the dynamic realm of stock analysis, exploring the sampling distribution, standard deviation, and standard error of NIFTY50 volumes is significant. Providing useful tools for investors, these statistical insights go beyond abstraction. When there is market volatility, standard deviation directs risk evaluation. Forecasting accuracy is improved by the sample distribution, which functions similarly to a navigational aid. Reliability of estimates is guaranteed by standard error. These are not only stock-specific insights; they also impact portfolio construction and enable quick adjustments to market developments. A data-driven strategy powered by these statistical measurements enables investors to operate confidently and resiliently in the financial world, where choices are what determine success.
NIFTY-50 is the tracker of Indian Economy, the index is frequently evaluated and re-equalizing to make sure it correctly affects the shifting aspects of the economic landscape in India. Extensively pursued index, this portrays an important role in accomplishing, investment approach ways and market analyses.
Methodology
The data was collected from Kaggle, with the (dimension of 2400+ rows and 8 rows, which are: date, open, close, high, low, volume, stock split, dividend. After retrieving data from the data source, we cleaned the null values and unnecessary columns from the set using Python Programming. We removed all the 0 values from the dataset and dropped all the columns which are less correlated.
After completing all the pre-processing techniques, we imported our cleaned values into RStudio for further analysis of our dataset.
Findings:
Our aim lies in finding how the samples are truly representing the volume. So, for acquiring our aim, we first took a set of samples of sizes 100 and 200 respectively. Then we performed some calculations separately on both of the samples for finding the mean, standard deviation, sampling distribution and standard error. At last we compared both of the samples and found that the mean and the standard deviation of the second sample which is having the size of 200 is more closely related to the volume.
Tumblr media
From the above table, the mean of the sample-2 which has a size of 200 entity is 291642.5 and the mean of the sample-1 is 270745. From this result, it is clear that sample-2 is better representative of the volume as compared to sample-1
Similarly, when we take a look at the standard error, sample-2 is lesser as compared to sample-1. Which means that the sample-2 is more likely to be closer to the volume.
Population Distribution.
Tumblr media
As per the graph, In most of the days from the year 2017 to 2023 December volume of trading of NIFTY50 was between 1lakh- 2.8lakhs.
Sample Selection
We are taking 2 sample set having 100 and 200 of size respectively without replacement. Then we obtained mean, standard deviation and standard error of both of the samples.
Sampling Distribution of Sample- 1
Tumblr media
From the above graph, the samples are mostly between 0 to 2 lakhs of volume. Also, the samples are less distributed throughout the population. The mean is 270745, standard deviation is 195270.5 and the standard error of sampling is 19527.01.
Sampling Distribution of Sample- 2
Tumblr media
From the above graph, the samples are mostly between 0 to 2 lakhs of volume. Also, the samples are more distributed than the sample-1 throughout the volume. The mean is 291642.5, standard deviation is 186162.3 and the standard error of sampling is 13163.66.
Replication of Sample- 1
Here, we are duplicating the mean of every sample combination while taking into account every conceivable sample set from our volume. This suggests that the sample size is growing in this instance since the sample means follow the normal distribution according to the central limit theorem.
Tumblr media
As per the above graph, it is clear that means of sample sets which we have replicated follows the normal distribution, from the graph the mean is around 3 lakhs which is approximately equals to our true volume mean 297456 which we have already calculated.
Conclusion
In the observed trading volume range of 2 lakhs to 3 lakhs, increasing the sample size led to a decrease in standard error. The sample mean converges to the true volume mean as sample size increases, according to this trend. Interestingly, the resulting sample distribution closely resembles the population when the sample mean is duplicated. The mean produced by this replication process is significantly more similar to the population mean, confirming the central limit theorem's validity in describing the real features of the trade volume.

Chibi watches V3D 02
Heyo, my lovelies! Another night of watching Voltron: The Third Dimension! And unlike yesterday, where I watched the episode TWICE, I just watched this one once and kept pausing it to take my notes. Made it a little easier on me. So, without further ado, let's go!
Episode two, and I still don’t trust Zarkon. And that glorified calculator is annoying. His idea of maintaining peace sucks. Damn shame Keith wants to follow his orders despite KNOWING that calculator is wrong about how to handle things. Though it is amusing that Lance practically ghosted Keith and ignored his call.
Coran mentioning that Lance’s village was destroyed by Lotor and Zarkon threw me for a loop. Was that mentioned in DotU? I actually can’t recall. And Zarkon’s timing for dropping in. Somehow that’s expected? Yet amusing. I still don’t trust him, even if he amuses me.
“I know it’s still hard for you to think of me as one of the good guys.” Good news, Zarkon, I don’t think of you as a good guy. You know why? THE LACK OF TRUST! And I don’t think that lack of trust has anything to do with the potential of me seeing this as a kid. Because I don’t know how things go and if I did see it, I don’t remember. But that lack of trust? Guys, I’m almost thirty. I’ve spent most of my life watching cartoons. This ain’t my first rodeo.
Zarkon bringing out the CD with some sort of data on it, though, is amusing. I mean, I know CDs. I REMEMBER CDs. I actually still use CDs at times. But it definitely shows how dated this show is and I love it.
Keith finishing the list of components that Lotor needs, he just sounds so done with Zarkon’s shit.
“These kids are doing the best they can.” I mean. I probably would’ve said the same thing. But I’m amused at Zarkon practically calling the pilots as kids. Only Pidge is probably still a kid. Five years later? I think he’s seventeen. Last I checked, seventeen’s still a kid.
I’m with Hunk on not expecting Zarkon as a minister of peace.
I love Lance calling Red “Kitty Cat”. It’s adorable.
Why is watching Lance plug Red in to fuel up so hilarious?
Who the hell are these pirate dudes? “Gotta get out of here while there’s still a here to get out of.” Little dialogue moments like this are brilliant and fun. Seeing the pirates dance their little victory dance is amusingly adorable, though. Even if their victory was short lived.
Okay, so, another moment of Chibi feeling dated. Lance speaking and a box showing up with his face in it as the lion flew on the rest of the screen, I am once again reminded of my days of playing Star Fox on the Super Nintendo. And it amuses me. I’ll be honest, so far, this show isn’t perfect (I mean, no Voltron show is perfect, they all have their flaws), but it’s amusing, and I like some of how they do the images and showing stuff. It’s intriguing and kinda takes me back.
“It’s a lion! I mean, it’s a space ship! I mean… I don’t know! Just shoot it!” I mean, she’s not wrong on any of that. At least she got over the panic enough to get them to shoot at the lion. Though. I’m gonna cheer for Lance still. Even if he announces his attacks. Yup. Welcome to the 90s of cheesy dialogue and attack shouts. But it’s fun. And classic.
“You better quit biting us!” “Yeah, or we’ll tell Commander Doom!” Not very threatening.
“Wow! We scared him off!” “Yeah, must be your naturally repulsive personality.” Oof. Burn. Gotta admit, I’m loving the burns in this show.
Ooh, ancient archives seems interesting. And showing the yellow lion to be in a sort of Sphinx-like structure is an interesting touch. A bit on the nose and obvious to enemies flying over, but interesting nonetheless.
The glyphs down in the archives being connected to the lions is intriguing.
Watching Lance fight, I did not expect a cannon to pop out of Red’s back. Unexpected, but definitely nifty.
“But a system is only as good as the guy running it. Which in your case means it stinks.” I mean. Lance ain’t wrong. Hopefully.
“We’ll see about that, Lion Boy.” Lotor, creativity skipped a generation, didn’t it? Or a lot of them. Can’t even come up with a good insult?
Lotor laughing sounds even more like Tim Curry than just the voice. Seriously. I can’t unhear Tim Curry.
Also. Oof on Lance being captured.
Hah! Lotor giving no fucks and ready to get the lions out and help Lance. Good on you, Princess! Don’t disobey those hearts! Screw the calculator’s orders!
Also, seeing them go to their lions. I just noticed how small the cockpits are. Wowza. That is cramped. But, it is nice seeing all the lions launch.
“Who dares fire upon my command ship?” The lions of Voltron, bitch! That’s who! Get wrecked!
Ooooooh. Maximus or whatever that guard bot was called. Intriguing that it’s being turned into a robeast. But, at least they’re not wasting too much time to form Voltron. Though seeing them as Voltron. It’s like someone just took a Voltron toy and was working with it in stop motion almost. It’s amusing. But it was probably skilled stuff for CGI in that era. So, no judgment. Just amusement.
Did Lotor just say “dream dimension”? Huh. I'm a little interested in finding out what this is.
Well then. Here we go! I survived yet another episode of V3D!
Anyway, I hope y'all enjoyed this one. Until next time!

Mega Brand Q&A with Hajime Kanzaka, 7/2018 to 12/2018, translated
And I am just about caught up to when @kaette-kita-slayers stopped posting, I know for sure she covered 2017 but I am going to have to double check for the first part of 2018 as she started going by issue rather than date at some point to make sure I don’t redo the wonderful stuff she’s already done, and I’m not sure if this is one of those things that I worry will take forever but will be straightforward, fast and easy once I get started or if it will actually take forever. So there may still be some more or there may not.
I am also pursuing some avenues to try to get the full versions of the Blaster Interviews, but no guarantees there.
And also, I would totally be following that black cat with HK, lol.
12/26/2018
Q: I have a question about the magical capacity. In a previous question, you mentioned that Gourry's magical capacity is high, but what is the average magical capacity of humans in that world? The fact that Flare Arrows and Fireballs are rather popular (of course, partly because of their practicality), does that mean that there is enough magical capacity to trigger them? Also, are there people who have no magical capacity at all?
KANZAKA: "The average is that you would be able to fire two or three "Fireballs" in a row if you could only learn it. Basically, there is no one in that world who has no magical capacity at all."
Q: Infectious diseases afflict even modern people, and Gourry saved Lina's life in a pinch by saying, "You'll catch the disease," but haven't they developed a spell or something to cure infectious diseases? Also, is it something that can be cured if it is as good as the red priest Rezo?
KANZAKA: "Infectious diseases cannot be lumped together because of the differences in infection routes. There have been cases where individual mages in a region have developed magic that is specially effective for a particular disease, and it can be cured in that region but not in other regions."
Q: There are stars and suns in the world of Slayers. Does this mean that space exists in the world of Lina and her friends? Also, does the existence of multiple worlds on the sea of chaos mean that there are multiple universes with different dimensions?
KANZAKA: "Basically, they are universes with the same structure as our world's universe. The other worlds of the Demon King are other worlds with the same structure. However, this is only with regard to the structure of the universe, and there are differences in many areas."
12/01/2018
Q: In volume 1, when Zelgadis and Lina first meet and negotiate, Zel casually asks, "Would you like to help me?" If Lina had joined forces with Zel, what would Zel have done after that? And as for the "two or three times the amount of money that could buy an entire castle," how was he going to make it? Did he intend to incorporate Lina into one of Rezo's crew as usual, or was he thinking of defection at that point, and was he going to dump her from the crew and from Lina once she had joined the crew and obtained the god statue? Or did he step on the fact that Lina seemed quite capable, and he rather wanted her as a force to be reckoned with when he defected from Rezo and struck back? What was Zel's plan at that time?
KANZAKA: "Zel's inner thoughts are of course flexible. At that point, Zel did not know Lina's true ability, and it was also unknown how powerful the item hidden in the god statue was. Probably in Zel's mind, all of the means mentioned by the questioner would have been possibilities. As for the price, Zel did not calculate to pay what he said he would since Lina had refused."
Q: Now that the Underworld King Fibrizo has been destroyed and magic using his power is no longer available, what happened to the "little nifty and improvised zombies" that used to appear in the Specials? Are they still in existence since they require Fibrizo's power to create but not to exist afterwards? Or does it require even a small amount of Fibrizo's power to exist, so it is back to being just a corpse at the same time that Fibrizo was destroyed?
I would think that people who are necromancers for a living would be in a lot of trouble if they could no longer borrow Fibrizo's power, and I would like to know what they are doing after Fibrizo's demise, if you don't mind my asking.
KANZAKA: "Once generated, the small, chic zombies continue to exist even after Fibrizo's demise. They need Fibrizo's magic power when they are created, but once they are created, they do not need Fibrizo's magic power to maintain them. And since necromancy in general in that world did not specifically use Fibrizo’s power, few necromancers would have been troubled by Fibrizo's demise."
Q: Alaina called Lina "a child playing at being a mage. 1. from an elf's point of view, all young humans are children 2. it's just that Lina is really a child. 3. Alaina just said something bad. Which of the following would it be...? I am curious.
KANZAKA: "I think she probably genuinely looked like a child. I guess she just let it slip out of my mouth. Also, at that time Alaina didn't want outside interference, so she's trying to give MacLyle the impression that Lina is unreliable."
11/2018
Q: I would like to talk about the "paper made from plants" used by Alaina, the elf. I am wondering if this one is papyrus-like or Japanese paper-like. I thought it might be Japanese paper-like since it seems to fold up small. Also, Lina said at first glance that it was made of plants, but is it a substitute that is normally distributed among humans? If so, which is easier to obtain, parchment or vegetable paper?
KANZAKA: "If I had to say, I would say that I lean more toward Japanese paper. I can assume that Lina has probably seen some kind of prototype of plant-based paper on some previous occasion. However, it is not in common circulation among humans."
Q: The gemstones held by Alaina played an important role in the amplification device, but is that because gemstones are still a thing of high magical power in the natural world? Lina can synthesize gemstones and process them to embed magic circles, but their artificial (?) Is it possible to use gemstones for Alaina's camp?
KANZAKA: "Think of the tools used by Alaina as a kind of pseudo-circuitry using natural objects. It does not matter the amount of magic power each individual has, it is only used as a catalyst. In that sense, it is possible to use Lina's jewelry as a catalyst as well, but that doesn't necessarily make it dramatically more effective."
Q: I have a question about the battle between Ceifeed and Shabranigdu. How big were these two bodies? Also, I heard that half of the continent disappeared due to the impact of the battle between the two bodies, but where was the battle fought? Was it a battle in the world visible to humans and other people and boom, boom, boom, or was it a battle in the spiritual world and the aftermath materialized and suddenly blew up without any warning? If it is the former, I think it would be a great nuisance for both gods and demon kings, since they are in a state of two great monster battles.
KANZAKA: "Because it was a half embodied, half astral-side battle, the size varies depending on where and how you look. Think of it as ranging from human-sized to mountainous. The location of the battle is not a specific place name, as it is now an ocean in that world. Regarding the recognition that Ceifeed is a god, shrine maidens around the world sensed it through 'prophecy.'"

Q: I have a question about the division of a day in the world of slayers. There are inaccurate Nantoka clock but they are uncommon, so does the average person in that area go to bed after sunset, wake up, and if the sun is up, it's the next day? I wonder if assassins or people who work at night would be able to tell the passage of time to some extent by the height of the moon or something, but not until "Oh, the sun just changed.”
KANZAKA: "It is true that they don't know the exact time, but at night they seem to make general judgments based on the movement of the stars and other factors."
Q: I have a question about the Demon Tribe and the Demon King. Shabranigdou was divided into seven parts by the great war in the past, and each part has 1/7th of the power of the other part. Even if Shabranigdu before the Great War had the same level of power as the demon kings of the other world, now it has been divided into seven parts, so it would be easy to say, "Oh no... that demon king over there... is too weak...?" I am worried that Master S. might be licked by others like that.
KANZAKA: "Perhaps there are demon kings from other worlds who see it that way, but basically they are occupied with their own world, and if they observe something about Shabranigdu's world, I think they would just say, 'You're having a hard time, well, good luck.'"
Q: The Blast Sword that feeds on the magic power of its surroundings and turns it into sharpness. For example, in Gourry's case, the sword's sharpness would be sharper if Lina, who has a high magical capacity, is by her side... If so, what is the effect on those around him of magic being used to feed the sword?
KANZAKA: "Basically, the power will increase or decrease depending on the magical capacity of the surrounding beings. But of course it also depends on whether the magic power is being released to the outside or not. The sharpness may increase or decrease depending on whether or not Lina is in the vicinity, but this is only a margin of error if the magic power is about the same as that of a human. Also, Gourry's magic capacity itself is actually quite high, although he cannot use magic."

Q: I have a question, Lina's magic became more and more useless because of 'that day'. From what I have read in the anime and novels, it seems that technology has not advanced much, but have they bought anything to use on that day? Or is it covered by magic or something? Sorry for the stupid question. I just couldn't help but wonder if I were to go to that world....
KANZAKA: "It depends on the person and the region, but I believe they use cotton or cloth."
Q: I saw in a past BLASTER! If there are only "manuscripts" for books, it seems to me that the cost of producing them would be quite high. If so, are libraries with large collections of books more heavily guarded than we think of them today? In addition, there is a description of Lina reading a zoological illustrated book in the special "The Forest of the Phantom Beast", but I think that the production cost of an illustrated book is even higher than that of a text-only book, and that publishing, mass-producing, and recovering costs for an illustrated book is also very difficult.
In the work, Mr. Estalee is a delightful creature researcher mage, but from the description that he has published nearly ten books continuously, I wonder if he is a very competent and authoritative person.
KANZAKA: "Certainly, books are expensive in the Slayers world. Naturally, manuscripts are made by apprentices or hired artisans, but if there is an "artist" among the apprentices, it is quite a big deal. According to Estalee, he published 10 books, but it is not clear whether they were solid books or 10 sheets of parchment, so the number of books he published does not always tell the whole story."
Q: I think that some of the chimeras in Slayers are not in human form or are beastmen, and I don't think we see many chimeras like Zelgadis that have kept their human form, as if they have poured other creatures into humans. (Although some of them have a form that does not hinder them in their human life even though they are a combination of a human and a demon thing...)
So my question is, is the difference in the appearance of the chimera simply a difference in the power of the magician who creates the chimera? Is the non-human form more powerful, or is there a difference in output?
KANZAKA: "In the world of Slayers, we call the synthesis of multiple life forms "chimera" as a general term, but the shape depends on the concept to begin with. If you use a human being and try to keep the human form, you will end up with a chimera, and if you cross animals with each other, you will naturally end up with an animal form. Of course, the skill of the surgeon has some bearing on this, but the main difference is the concept."

Q: Is there any kind of jinx or test to get luck in the world of Slayers, such as "If a black cat crosses you..."* or "Katsudon (pork cutlet served on top of rice) before an exam"? I'd like to know what it's like if there is one. *I love black cats, so when they cross my path, I want to follow them!
KANZAKA: "Of course, there are all kinds of jinxes in that world. However, they vary from country to country and region to region, so there is no particular nationally famous jinx. And, as a side note, when a black cat crosses over, the author also follows."
Q: I have a question about spirits. Do the spirits of spirit magic inhabit the astral side? Or do they inhabit the material world? Is there more than one individual in the name of a species, such as Bephimos? Or only one with power?
Can spirits, like demons, fight if they want to? If so, how strong are they?
Can the demons, aiming to weaken the humans, eradicate the spirits that are the source of Ra Tilt?
I am not asking for all the answers, but rather a list of questions I had about the spirits. Thank you in advance for the above.
KANZAKA: "No one has observed spirits in human magical knowledge. However, since they exist and can actually draw power, magic is built on the assumption that such things exist. I think it is safe to assume that it is a kind of law rather than some kind of creature. Therefore, 'destroying a particular spirit' is like rewriting part of the laws of physics, so it is not an easy task even for the demon tribe."
Q: I have a question about the oracle that informs us of things like the resurrection of the demon king and even the price of radishes, but is there an oracle for male priests as well as priestesses? Also, are there priestesses who specialize in oracles? Also, do fortune tellers in this world have anything to do with magical powers like priestesses do? Or is it like the real world, where even if you get it right, it's like bagua (Eight Trigrams)?
KANZAKA "There are male 'miko' as well, but they are often not recognized as 'miko' by the people around them. Appearance is important. There are basically no miko who specialize in oracles. This is because oracles are not always given. Therefore, fortune tellers in that world may have some magical power involved, but it is basically a matter of luck or oracles..."

How the Space-Time Jutsu could have worked
In this essay I will-
SHARE how YOUR FAVORITE Naruto character could possible be able to go FORWARD or BACKWARD in time using BASTARDIZED SCIENCE! :D
Look, look, i have a casual make-up-break-up relationship with physics so while I may know the bitch I can't give you the deets, ya feel me? So either take everything I say with a grain of salt or say "fuck it" and run with it at full speed.
Okay, the Time Space jutsu I'm pretty sure canonically is a backwards summoning jutsu which means that the summonee can summon themselves and doesn't need to be summoned by a secondary party. pretty nifty.
Not cool enough for me. I need the Space Time jutsu to break the laws of physics.
Sadly, this theory DOES NOT BREAK THE LAWS OF PHYSICS but uses the Laws to support it's claim. (this theory would realistically vaporize the human body but we're talking about Naruto here and we all know that Death is just a concept to polite step around)
Okay so: Time Travel
Time is a linear force that can either speed up or slow down but it can never go backwards. However to prove something exists is to slow down time to catch the subject moving from point A to point B what the fuck does that mean? It means that if you cannot see that something is moving from Point A to Point B, then does it really exist? Yes, you just have to speed up time or slow it down. That means that TIME is the quantity that proves that everything existed within a space.
However the human eye can only see things at X amount of speed. For now I'll say 60fps cause that's what most video games are going for. The human eye can see things easily at 60fps and HD is probably 300 fps. But we are still limited by time. Things going FASTER that 300fps CANNOT be seen moving from point A to point B
The Sharingan is a dojutsu that let's the human eye see at 600fps
Which means to the Uchiha time slows down cause they're intaking much more information than the average human being.
Now we talked a bit about how Space and Time hold each other's hands in order for an object to be proven to exist
how the fuck does it turn into time travel?
Time travel would mean that you as an object/subject move faster than the human eye, moving faster than the sharingan to get from Point A to Point B
that's it. that's all it is. in it's most simplest terms, it doesn't mean that you go at light speed or break dimensions you're just simply moving faster than the human eye could register that you moved at all
Here's how you break time
Now in physics there's this big fancy rule called "Conservation of Mass" which states: nothing is made new. you break H2O down to it's atoms you now have gas but it's not brand new atoms; it's 2 atoms of Hydrogen and 1 atom of Oxygen. everything within the solar system is used, reused, and recycled over and over again because it's atomic componets never cease to exist.
which means that In The Beginning, all matter existed, it just hasn't transmuted into something more
but how do you transmute?
Energy
the Big fucking Bang set the universe of fire and we're the grimy little worms that frolic in the ashes
Okay, but that would mean that there are two definable objects in the world: atoms and energy. and Energy, as the Law of Conservation of Mass says, CANNOT BE MADE. it comes from somewhere else. "An object at rest stays at rest unless an outside force acts upon it" energy is TRANSFERABLE it is FELT and can be CALCULATED but energy isn't an atom. it's not on our periodic table. So what the fuck is it?
Energy is a wave
You know Radiowaves? Microwaves? the spectrum of light? the waves of radiation currently giving people skin cancer? that's all just energy being felt, being seen, being measured and IT's ALL RIGHT THERE! However the Law of Conservation still exists: nothing new can be created
then that means that all the energy of the universe existed well before the Big Bang
How does this translate into timetravel?
Space-Time jutsu is just "How to get from point A to Point B so fast that the human eye can't prove that I traveled?" but Time travel is slightly different and it's how everyone in Naruto is able to go back in time in all those fanfictions
It's simple: In a fantasy world where souls can be reincarnated and bodies can withstand tremendous amounts of power (looking at you jinchuuriki) it's possible for a human body to become energy
Cool right? Now here's what's cooler: Energy existed always. The same energy it took for a butterfly to flap it's wings could be the same bit of energy that whips up a tornado. The same energy for 23 men to stab Julius Caesar could be the same energy that makes a tree grow.
But how do you prove energy? Do you have to slow down or speed up time? especially if it's a "Wave" like I said?
here's the thing: Energy exists OUTSIDE OF FUCKING TIME SO IF YOU'RE A BODY OF PURE ENERGY YOU COULD SKIP THROUGH TIME cause if all energy existed always and all energy exists outside the dimensions of time that means TIME IS YOUR BITCH
Space-Time Jutsu? it's the simplest for of how to get from Point A to Point B
but the potential at your very fingertips is being able to jump around time because you exist as a conscious wave length of energy
Okay done ranting I'm going to bed just wanted to share cause its too freakin cool not to hold it all in hope y'all understood
