AND YES EXACTLY YOU GET IT.... i think [name] was probably a very artistic and kind child, but as they grew up, their desire to work with their hands gradually decreased until there was none left and they likely found themselves reading more as a kind of escapism or maladaptive coping method. their passion has long since been snuffed out by the pain they've gone through, and architecture... it's a work of passion. they can't do something like that, not anymore.

if kaveh wears his heart on his sleeve, then theirs must be in something of a prison. because why should they let themselves be hurt again? there's no logical reason for them to put forth all their love and kindness, so they don't.

they've had to learn to be logical. haravatat simply provides a better environment for them to foster that protective layer of logic and reason.

YES SOBS EXACTLY alhaitham is not "taking sides" by caring for [name]. he cares for both of the siblings equally, albeit in different ways (teehee silly haikaveh enthusiast pushing their silly haikaveh agenda /hj /lh)... he isn't picking sides. he understands both kaveh and [name] from an objective pov. he believes they are both valid in their feelings. but what alhaitham also understands is that both of them are failing to see one another's own perspectives; kaveh remembers faranak as a good mother, while [name] does not. but he chooses to meticulously care for both of them anyways, because he knows neither of them are quite ready to sit down and really talk about it, so it falls to him to make sure that neither of them lose themselves in their trauma.

so he continues to care for both of them, piecing them both back together with tender attention and care that most haravatat scholars fail to display...... cries. they've both got unhealed inner children but alhaitham is there to help fix it........

okay so. it was a series of three major events:

i developed an obsession with these three specific percy jackson amvs set to fall out boy and panic! songs, which began sparking my interest more alternative styles of music.

at around the same time, i was getting like. a LOT of "emo trinity" tumblr post screenshots and memes and shit, which is how i started to absorb a lot of inside jokes and knowledge about the bands and shit (like member names, album titles, a lot of the surface level differences yk?) this is how i first learned about who mcr was, and i developed in interest in them after becoming obsessed with those fob and panic! songs, but i didnt actively star listening to them until:

i heard a fucking line in a sanders sides video, where virgil makes a joke about going to an mcr concert, and i, being a virgil stan, decided that i HAD to finally listen AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, so i binged a bunch of their music right after finishing that episode :D

he grins at me, his large fingers resting over mine for just a moment too long before he grabs the cone from my hand

“honestly, whatever you picked was going to be my new favorite,” he says, his golden eyes trained on me, shining and bright

After that, I don't think I contacted him for a while. Of course, I would talk in the group chat, but not directly at him. Our late-night chats would turn into thin air while our friendship disappeared with it. Just one more god damn day would work. But Hitoshi Shinsou had other ideas in mind.

It was what Suki had told me to do. My beloved best friend, the only one who could make me smile during my crying sessions. The stupid corny jokes and puns he would throw at me during skype, funny snap chat videos he would send of Sero acting like a crackhead during his class. Nothing better than having a Suki by your side. I thought that would be the last of Hitoshi but I was wrong.

purplebroccoli: [name], are you ignoring me? 

purplebroccoli: its been months since we last talked. :(

ilostmysocks: i thought we were friends Shinso. 

ilostmysocks: when were you planning to tell me?

purplebroccoli: tell you what? and we are friends [nickname].

ilostmysocks: don't call me that. for now on call me [last name]

ilostmysocks: and you know what im fucking talking about. when the fuck did you get a girlfriend?

purplebroccoli: i didn’t want to tell you [name]. 

purplebroccoli: you don't need to know who i date anyways. 

ilostmysocks: as your friend, i have the right to know who you date. 

purplebroccoli: what the fuck 

purplebroccoli: you’re always like this

purplebroccoli: you dont need to know every damn thing about me and my life.

purplebroccoli: maybe this is why no guy will ever date you.

purplebroccoli: because you are so damn annoying and nosy. 

ilostmysocks: I hate you Hitoshi Shinso. 

I don't know if I was thinking but I blocked him. The memory of tears running down my face felt new.

All I had wanted was to lay in bed with Suki and cry. Oh how I missed him. His fluffy ash blonde hair and piercing ruby red eyes. It may not seem like it but Katsuki is a little ball of warmth. His hand were rough from his training but they were always gentle.

One thing I don't regret doing was deleting my trace online. Every social media app I had was deleted, as well as my accounts.
