it's a redraw from last year's lyricstuck- but to be honest, i did the redraw literally last year. as in it was only a month after the first one that i decided to put in ACTUAL effort and redraw the fuckin thing. it worked out pretty well i think because it looks SOOOO much better than the original!

it took me a couple of days (because i put in actual effort lmao) but i was working on it for HOURS, just for like days straight because it was the only time i had to do it, so i knew i needed to finish it. i also fixed up mistakes i put in the first time - spelling mistakes, spacing, just little touches that needed fixed or coloured i didn't do originally. i think i struggled the most with the villian panel - i'm a bit insecure with how clearly you can see my (to me) childish drawings because i don't know how to work without lineart that well. i just blurred it last year but blurring it for the second one ruined the vibe i was going for so i kinda just grit my teeth and posted it knowing it wasn't my best, but hey, at least i tried!!

overall, i'm glad it turned out so great. it also highlights how much effort i've put into my artwork, and how it's paid off, plus how much more i still need to improve. i think i need to improve my backgrounds more, and learn how to not only draw things that AREN'T people, but without lineart as well.

now having the exact OPPOSITE problem I had yesterday bc I pulled out the spectrum red instead of cad red to try and get a richer final shade instead of orange-y but it's settled too dark and it looks like dried blood..... kind of a vibe but maybe not the one I was going for 😭

◈ Rashta is always at your beck and call and always helps you in your work, she's waiting for you to call her when you need help while she is either doing something for her wedding clothes shops or dress shop and clothing shops (she sells everything a woman needs).

◈ Or when she is doing some resin art, she is sometimes hoping that you will call her because you missed her...She is very attached to you, emotionally and physically :))

◈ Whenever she is eating foods, you and all the servants together, she thinks of you all like a family and wonders if you all think of her as one too? Hopefully, cause she can now never bear to think about all of you not being with her!

◈ She is always happy to enjoy time with kids, even though her PTSD sometimes causes her to have panic attacks and push kids away, cause she gets scared and it always scares the kids as well, sadly...

◈ But their parents understand her situation and they are always happy to help her calm down, the kids don't mind either, cause their parents explained how Miss. Rashta has a bad past and an illness which causes her to be very scared around kids and so they try their best to not scare her.. :(((((

◈ She will always dedicate many of her works to you, designing them on your favourite colours, patterns you like, things you like, etc. She is always happy to see, how you enjoy her art, cause it means the world to her!

◈ She is so grateful for you, every season of her clothing shops, she will first and foremost release a season for you! and only after your season will she put out the other season! She is a trendsetter and many people like her works!

◈ She loves animals and love to care for them, she also loves spending ties with the kids in the manor, it's honestly makes her inner child heal and makes her feel better and refreshed! She will go to any length, she will be a princess or a dragon or a knight or a witch, she is just happy to be around the kid! And she loves to feed animals, groom them, brush their fur or simply stroke them.

◈ She will always have you take breaks by helping her in designing or doing resin art or something relaxing in general or talking a walk around the manor! She doesn't want you to overwork!

Okay, so Joe hawley:

Hot take, but I think everyone's being a bit too harsh. Many people, including myself, immediately after hearing the news deleted posts about joe hawley, said that they don't support joe hawley, and sent hate towards him in general. I take back some words that I said earlier and would like to share a full rant about what I feel now.

Not wanting to support joe anymore is totally fine -- after all, he's done some awful things to people and I sincerely hope those people are able to recover.

I do however, still support joe, but not in the way you think.

I support his journey to getting mental help and hope he himself can recover and fend off whatever mental illnesses he may be facing. I continue to enjoy Joe's music, as after all, it's okay to separate the artist from the art. I support whatever's left of sane Joe and hope that he can look back, realize what he's done, apologize, and get the mental health he needs. I think any hate towards him is unnecessary.

Mental health isn't an excuse, but an explanation. Sending him hate is only digging his mental state a deeper hole and piling onto the stress he's already facing. I think we can all agree that he's most likely guilty -- he's not trying to defend himself nor is he apologizing. While people who've done things like Joe deserve a proper punishment, I feel that the best thing we can do now is hope that Joe can return to a proper state of mind and get help.

He needs help. His mind clearly isn't right here. The way he types, the way he talks... it's all off. He needs to go and get mental help or therapy or whatever a person like him needs and that way, he can hopefully come back and we can have hope at a third album. If he owns up to what he did, get's help, and truly becomes a better person, I'd be willing to forgive him. He's been battling mental illness for so long according to Andrew and I think it's heartbreaking to see what Andrew wrote on the matter.

Joe's mental health was one of the main reasons tally hall couldn't get a third album and probably won't if this situation keeps up. Andrew wrote how he and the other band members watched Joe fight to be mentally well. How he's changed, for the worse, and how he isn't the same, happy, Joe that was in tally hall. I think Andrew's response to everything is truly heartbreaking and it sucks that Joe had to go through this and in turn make the other members go through this as well.

I don't condone anything he's done. All I can say is to not approach him or talk to him. Even tweeting at him won't help. Remember, we're trying to get him off the phone and into a therapist's office. I've been trying not to pay attention to any tweets he's made as I think it's right to assume that these aren't made in a healthy state of mind and should be taken with a mother-sized basketball of salt. I believe that he's currently in a manic episode and he's obviously not in the right mind at all. Perhaps after this passes he can give an actual response.

I don't want to drag this on for any longer. Thanks for reading this (if you even finished). I just wanted to get my thoughts down somewhere. I truly hope that Joe get's help and can return to the closest thing to normal that there can be.

One last thing: please don't remove Joe Hawley from tally hall images. It's extremely immature. He was a part of tally hall and that can never be changed. I'll leave you with this:

do you have any advice on making interesting mechs? i feel like even when i create an interesting silhouette for one the end result is a bit boring, and i was wondering if you had any advice for adding detail or flare to a mech. ik this is kinda broad but idk how to word it better, either way i think your art is amazing and i hope youre having a good day!

thank you for the kind words! i'm very much not qualified to give any good advice but i do have some thoughts on it that can maybe help??

for detailing, i feel like as i was starting out, i referenced a lot of established mechanical designers with styles that i liked and steadily built up a visual memory of "misc. mechanical detail" that helps a lot with filling out a design, very classic "steal from the masters" stuff

i think proportions and how you twist the basic human form can do a lot for a mech, especially if you're not good at more technical industrial design like me. my own style is very obviously inspired by a lot of mamoru nagano's Five Star Stories designs, so i feel like a lot of the visual interest in my stuff is from strong, exaggerated figures and softer, more organic shapes, plus the occasional Projection (spike, cannon barrel, etc...) to make things interesting and break up the shapes

masami obari's general style is also a good example of what exaggerating proportions and striking a good pose can do to a mech design

also i saw a post once that i can't find where its showing how having like, a direction to push your design's shapes towards is a really nice way to make things cohesive and interesting, for example:
