Guess who just got reminded of how horrifying Hey Melissa! was. Easily the most terrifying thing in all of the Hatchetfield stuff. Like Nightmare Time gets so dark, which when you watch the musicals, you should expect. And I thought Time Bastard was bad. But Ted brought that on himself. Jane is a Car, still also not great and overall strange. Honey Queen and then Abstinence Camp, yeah...

But Hey Melissa! is a whole different level. Like... Mmm, not great whether Paul develops Stockholm syndrome or not. Either way, that is gonna mess him up.

The first character that popped into my head was Alice's mum/Bill's ex-wife. I'm just super curious about her and would love to see her dynamic with Bill and Alice. I wonder who would play her.

Melissa! I know the fandom was divided on Hey, Melissa! but it was my favourite Nightmare Time story (even though probably not technically canon) and now Melissa is my favourite Hachetfield character and I have a Melissa problem. Misery is one of my all-time favourite movies and the Lang bros said they based it on that so it was totally my jam! I just need more of her. I need to know why she is like #that. So backstory, please! (Also, would love to see more of Jane. think I'm starting to see a pattern in who my faves are xD)

everyone who said this is bad is a coward. this FUCKED. like do i ever want to see it again?? doubtful. but it was still really good!!!

honestly this might be the scariest nmt ep. there's a lot of nmt eps where even tho i really like them they do make me sort of sit back and go like that wasn't actually scary though? but THIS?? hell yeah babey finally some good fucking horror

i like to think that in at least one world melissa and grace are best friends. the absolute havoc they'd wreak,,,,,,,,,

man i'd missed the s1 format so MUCH like i love the way s2 got to be edited and it definitely makes them easier to follow but i missed seeing everyone absolutely lose their shit in the background (like you cannot tell me that daddy wouldn't be 10 times better with the cast reacting)
