Patchwork

Summary: Henry becomes a father... Just not how he thought it would happen.

Warnings: mentions of domestic violence, lots of fluff

"Six?"

"Six."

"Six children?"

"Well not biologically, but.... yes."

(Y/n) looked uncertainly at Henry. The blue eyes stared at her in disbelief.

"You have six children living in your house?"

She sighed. That was always the point at which every guy ran away.

"I understand if that's too much for you," she began.

Henry shook his head still in disbelief, but grinned. "Do you ever sleep, or do you just get used to sleep deprivation?"

She smiled cautiously. Didn't trust the peace yet, though. "To be honest there are two kids one 9 and one 12 and four pubescent teenagers."

He regarded her quietly across the restaurant table. "Are you okay?" he asked, "Did I say something wrong? I know my reaction may have been a little surprised, but I didn't mean to cut you in."

She relaxed a little. "It's just... Most guys run away as soon as they hear that, and that would really be .... a shame."

Henry smiled and shook his head. "I don't run away. I hate cardio."

That made her smile.

"But you'll still have to tell me how you get to adopt six children and teenagers.... And that as a single woman in her mid-twenties."

"It's like cats. Somehow I guess it doesn't stay with just one." She tipped her wine glass. "The first one was Jason. He was the son of my neighbors at the time and would come by my apartment every so often in the afternoon until his mother got home. One night he showed up at my door bleeding. His father caught him with make up and beat him black and blue. It took a while, but then he could move in with me. He's graduating from high school this summer. He has even been accepted to a make up school. He wants to go into film as a makeup artist." She smiled softly. "He's come a long way."

Henry curtsied in shock at the story. "Fatima is 16 and has been disowned by her family for not being a virgin. She has ambitions to study law. I don't think anyone will stop her from going to Oxford. Mike is almost 16 - next week - and grew up without a father and even though his mother tried everything, she has high level schizophrenia. She has been institutionalized and now lives in care. We visit her whenever her condition allows it. Mini - Emilia ran away at some point. We don't really know what happened. She is 14. Kamon is 12 and comes from a refugee family. His parents have been sent back to Thailand. We are trying to get a visa for them. Until then, I'm kind of his foster family. He and Mike are not officially adopted. Both love their family and do everything for them, even if they can't always be there. And Lilly. She is 9. Her family died in a car accident. No family member has been found."

She was silent for a moment and continued to contemplate her wine before looking up and looking at Henry.

"Henry... I understand if this is too much, but.... they've all been through enough in their lives and every single one of them has their reasons for making it hard for new people in our family. So if, against all odds, you say yes to this circus, know that it's not so easy to get out of it either." Her gaze became insistent. "If you leave me, that's one thing, but I won't do that to the kids."

Henry, who hadn't said anything all this time, took one deep breath and reached for her hand lying on the table. He smiled. "If they're willing to meet me, so am I."

Henry stood in front of a gigantic house. His house was already big, but this one surpassed it. Despite its size, however, it didn't seem ostentatious. It looked cozy and inviting. The word 'home' popped into his head.

Shouts and frantic footsteps sounded from inside.

He pressed his thumb on the doorbell. Immediately, everything went silent.

The door opened with a jerk. A dark-skinned boy stood before him, beaming at him. From the colored eyeliner, he concluded that it must be Jason.

"Hello Mr. Cavill." he said in a noticeably loud voice.

Immediately, frantic footsteps sounded and he saw scattered bodies running through the background.

"Hi. Henry will do." he smiled.

"Come on in. I'm Jason. Ehhm... (Y/n) isn't here yet.... Mike had... They had to go to the hospital."

"Is he okay?"

Jason shrugged. "Normally, he is. Boxer you know... Tea?"

"Gladly."

He stepped into the house. It was swept as if empty, yet the traces of life could be seen in it. Self-painted pictures. Photographs. Various equipment for hobbies. Shoes in different sizes. And that was just the hallway. Henry let himself be led into the kitchen and sat down on one of the chairs. None matched the other.

"Mike had a match this morning. (Y/n) said he's already patched up. They're already on their way here."

Henry smiled. "With something like this, you should take your time."

Jason set the steaming cup down for him and sat with him.

Henry accepted it gratefully. "It's very quiet."

"Be glad." was all he said, sipping his tea. "I don't want to chase you away, but it's like human history here. The periods of absolute peace are relatively negligible." He ran his index finger over the rim of his cup and grinned. "And I'm one of the worst divas here. Just a warning."

The front door opened and a rumble sounded, followed by an amused giggle. "Sorry about that." a boy's slurred voice rang out.

"That's okay big guy. Come on off to bed." he heard (y/n).

"I'm fine!"

"That's because they drugged your ass off so you can't feel your face."

"Where's Ammy?"

"Mike you need to rest now. You can call Amber when you're in bed."

"Who are you?" A blond boy in a gray sweatshirt and swollen face looked at him from the doorway, aghast. "Who's that?" he turned to (Y/n).

"A friend Mike. That's a friend. Jason stop filming him!"

Still grinning, Jason put the phone away and turned to Henry. "Welcome."

"What's the dog's name?", Kamon asked him.

"That's Kal...like Superman." he smiled at the shy boy.

"I like Batman."

Henry rolled his eyes playfully. "Oh yeah, why?"

"Batman watches out for kids nobody else wants. Like (y/n)."

Henry smiled.

"I told you not to rummage through my things!" yelled Emilia down the hall.

Henry and (Y/n) sat in the garden each holding a book.

"I wasn't rummaging. I was getting MY eyeshadow, that you stole from MY room!" shouted back Jason. "It's not my fault you leave your lovey-dovey fanfictions lying around in the open like that!"

"You have no business in my room!"

"That being said - Tom Holland? Really?"

A splintering sound rang out.

"I guess that was the vase, then," (Y/n) sighed.

"I would have thought she was more of a Sebastian Stan type," Henry reflected loudly.

"How long has she been sitting there?" whispered Henry to (Y/n).

"Since this morning. She hasn't looked up from that book in five hours."

Fatima sat at the large parlor table surrounded by books, writing notes and index cards.

"That's impressive. Scary, but impressive."

Kal walked over to the table and nudged her.

"I have to study! Sit!" Kal obeyed immediately and sat next to her chair.

"She'd make a good drill sergeant," Henry grinned.

(Y/n) sipped her coffee. "You've never seen her in exam stress."

"This isn't exam stress?"

"This is relaxed studying."

Henry looked in shock at the girl with noise cancelling headphones. (Y/n) grinned into her cup.

"They need more glitter!" determined Lilly.

Henry reached for the can of edible glitter and sprinkled more of it on the unicorn cookies.

"Like this?"

The little girl looked thoughtfully at the tin. "Like this."

Henry bowed theatrically and slid the tin into the oven. "All for your majesty." The girl giggled.

(Y/n) just watched with a smile.

Jason and Mike sat on the sofa grinning together at a tablet, each with headphones in their ears.

This wasn't normal. Even Henry knew that by now. He wondered if they were both watching porn. He'd been that age once, too. He knew what that was like.

(Y/n) came into the living room and looked over there shoulders at the two of them. She laughed uncontrollably grunting, but immediately suppressed it and came over to him.

No porn, he concluded.

"What about these two?" asked Henry, pulling her to him on the sofa and onto his lap.

"Just a movie," she grinned.

"What movie?"

She continued to shake her head with a grin and waved it off. Henry was very reluctant to be shut out. So he sat (y/n) down next to him on the sofa and stood behind the two teenagers. When he saw his younger self in a black hoodie grinning and holding up a tarot card, he groaned in annoyance.

The boys snorted indignantly. Henry looked defiantly at the display.

"Oh come on Sweet Cheeks! What's wrong?" asked (Y/n) with a laugh.

He looked at her with an intensity that promised she would pay for this yet. She could hardly wait.

"What's with the hair?" laughed Jason.

"It was in back then!"

Henry stood in the kitchen making coffee while there was the familiar bustle around him. Kamon couldn't find his second shoe, Lilly needed a certain T-shirt, Jason occupied the bathroom, Mike shoveled eggs into his mouth, Fatima just drank the coffee straight out of the pot, and Emilia hid behind a book.

He could hardly believe that over a year should have passed already.

They had grown close to his heart. He didn't want to miss the chaos at all. The last time he left for a job, it seemed almost eerie how quiet it was that night. He had told (y/n) about it over Skype. She'd just grinned and said those feelings liked to sneak up on one.

"Do you think they want me in their life?" he had asked her uncertainly.

She had only smiled. "Wait a minute." She disappeared and came back a moment later with a piece of paper. She held it up to the camera. "Lilly drew this for you today." It showed eight roughly drawn people. Under each one, in capital letters, was the name.... except for (y/n) and him. It just said Mum and Paps. Henry stared wide-eyed at the screen. "Please act surprised when you come back. It's supposed to be a gift.", she put the paper back down. "Are you crying?"

Henry had remained silent. He had only nodded.

He smiled at the memory. The picture hung framed in the hallway. It had become Henry's favorite picture.

"Car one go!", (y/n) called down the stairs.

The three mismatched teens got up from the table and walked to (y/n)s car.

Henry packed the last of the snacks into Lilly and Kamon's lunchboxes before he, too, packed them into his cat and drove them to school. Jason had a little break from make up school and stayed at home.

Henry came back earlier than (y/n). He waited patiently for her in the kitchen. Looked at the mismatched chairs and the photos on the wall. Photos that now included him. (Y/n) came shortly after him and dropped into her usual seat next to him. She reached for the waiting cup of coffee and dropped her head on his shoulder. "How did I do this alone before?"

Henry laughed.

"I mean it. Don't you dare leave! I can't take it anymore!"

Henry just smiled at her. He got up from his chair and knelt down in front of her. He pulled a small box out of his pocket and held it in front of him. "I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life anywhere but with you and the kids. (Y/n) will you marry me?"

She looked at him with shocked eyes. "Are you sure?"

He nodded with a smile. "I want to take Lilly to her dance lessons. I want to be there when Jason gets his first jobs. I want to see Fatima come top of her year at Oxford - in law AND medicine." They both laughed. "I want to cheer Mike on in his competitions. I want to watch Emilia find the romance she secretly wants. I even want my heart to break when Kamon is reunited with his parents. I want to be with you. I want to be with the children. I don't want to run away. I want to be part of this family."

"You already are," she smiled, crying. She pulled him close and kissed him.

"Does that mean yes?" he grinned.

"Yes you idiot." she laughed.

Thoughts on "Escape from Camazotz"

Oppressive Suburbia, Conformity, and Season 5 Themes

I've long thought that a major focus of Season 5 will be the contrast between the families of The Wheelers and The Byers, and exploring how non-traditional family environments can be freeing vs the oppressive structure of the nuclear family.

In a Wrinkle In Time, Camazotz is a planet controlled by the big bad of the book, the "IT", who forces the citizens into a conformity that resembles American suburbia. All of the houses the same, the citizens the same, doing the same things at the same time without individual identity. Without anything different. Different means a lot of things, but with Stranger Things dropping different in reference to Will's identity and the presumable themes of this season, it will heavily codify as queerness and how it threatens the cisheterosexual family model.

Henry was raised in the 1950s, a decade still revered by conservatives for it's traditional family dynamics that supposedly were the peak of culture and happiness for all. That was all a lie, of course, and Henry knew so as he shows to Nancy and Eleven during his monologue. The second most conservative decade aside from the 1950s in American society is widely considered to be the 1980s.

The Creels will serve in parallel to The Wheelers; the worst example of what they could become and the damage that this type of family could do to a child that is different in any way. Notice how Vecna selectively shows Nancy visions of The Wheelers dying, but not anyone else she may consider family or friends (like Jonathan).

That is; unless they change their ways and come together as a healthy functioning family facing their traumas, The Wheelers will be toast.

Karen has been moved up to a main character role this season. Ted's actor says the father starts to show up more for Holly (hold that) and realizes he wants to act differently. Holly has been recast. Finn has said Mike goes on a much more personal journey this season, and steps up as a leader.

Oh, also: the catalyst for all of this is that Holly goes missing. The contrast will help show how the Byers (including El and Hopper here) were able to pull together and help solve Will's disappearance, versus how the Wheelers as a closed off nuclear family grapple with Holly's vanishing.

Each of the Byers is in some kind of a non-1950s conformist relationship, but particularly Will (not in one now but we all know he will be). I think El might represent, after she breaks up with Mike, the fear of the unmarried woman being satisfied without a husband. The above shot really emphasizes my point.

I predict that Will will end up coming out to his family rather early on, and we will see all of them immediately accept him with little surprise or push-back. Will is a visible gay man who comes from an open minded non traditional family (divorced, non-married, adoptive) that is willing to have honest conversations.

But this theme will place the most focus on the Wheelers. Mike is the main character of said family and this will particularly focus on his arc, and his acceptance of his queerness in the midst of suburban conformity.

He is not visible, he comes from a Reagan-supporting family who don't communicate with each other. He is not particularly close with his family like Will is. He pushes his feelings down and tries his damn hardest to be normal despite it all. His trauma hasn't really been addressed at all. He is falling back into his usual habits - the one thing he dared to do different (grow his hair long) has gone back to how it was.

It's not all doom and gloom though. This season above all will be a redemption arc of the American nuclear family, how they choose to escape their conformity and learn to be there for each other, thus overpowering Vecna. Not that the Wheelers are going to end this personally.

"Great, more hysteria. Just what we need". "It's the news, now indistinguishable from the tabloids".

✨random predictions for the fnaf movie after watching the trailer, based on nothing but hunches✨

-mike and Abby are adopted into their current family (the Schmidts)

-there will be a twist where the animatronics are not attacking abby, but are trying to protect/get her away from Michael who they perceive to be William

-people will shout, “WAS THAT THE BITE OF ‘87?!” in theaters after a clip goes viral on social media

-we will see the bite of 87 but it will be fade to black violence

-there will be at least one YouTuber cameo

-Vanessa will not be a villain (yet)

-the arcade cabinets will have some that match the minigames found in the game series such as midnight motorists, fruity maze, etc

-there will be a goofy ahh scene where William shows up in a purple suit

-Henry will be in jail or otherwise not present

-the movie will make it clear that it does not take place in the game universe but rather a separate canon

Since Michael was largely unable to talk and Gregory and CC were asleep, is Henry at all aware of who Gregory is? Does he think that Michael kidnapped a child? Does he think William straight up hid CC's twin from him? Heck, does he think William figured out cloning technology?

(Also, speaking of Gregory and Michael: What exactly is their relation in your AU? I've seen some posts referring to Michael as Gregory's dad, but I am unclear on if that's in a protecting adoptive father figure way, or if Michael is actually biologically his dad.)

Listen, come closer. Steddie LadyHawke AU. I know, I know, it's been done before but they modernized it.

Picture this.

Sir Stephan as head of the guard for Bishop William (Billy) and they both fall for the beautiful and ethereal Eddie. He is the adopted nephew of Lord Wayne and crowning jewel of the small principality of Hawkins.

Sir Stephan and Eddie know that they can't wed under the eye of Prince Henry (Vecna) and Bishop William plan to run away together and elope.

Max not knowing that her guardian the Bishop is madly in love with Eddie, tells him of their plans thinking that he could help them get away.

The Bishop is enraged that they would even think of running away and with the help of the Prince place a curse on the pair.

Five years later and Robin, who is a thief and escape artist extraordinaire breaks out of the town prison which was said to be inescapable.

Sir Thomas, the new head of the guard and the Bishop's right hand man is intent on capturing her to find out how she escaped.

She just happens to run into Sir Thomas and the guard right where Sir Stephan was trying to make it back to the center of Hawkins to kill the Bishop and he accidentally rescues her.

But in their running, they move farther away from the Hawkins much to Sir Stephan's ire. When they stop for the night, even though there is still plenty of daylight left, Robin gets annoyed. She wants to get away from the bad men after, stopping now does not accomplish that. So Stephan tells her to leave.

Robin weighs the two options and stays with the buff dude with a very big sword. And strangely a beautiful raven.

Stephan tells her that if she sees a large wolf, run away. Don't engage. He will not be responsible if it eats her.

Robin is confused, there haven't been wolves in the area in decades. But she doesn't argue afraid he'll just leave her behind. He also tells her that when the sun sets to lay out the clothing in right saddle bag and do not talk to the man who comes to get them.

So she does what she's told.

Mostly.

She talks to the young man. Learns his name is Edwin, but everyone calls him Eddie. He's sweet and awkward. And if she was attracted to men, she might just fall in love with him.

The wolf appears and Robin is terrified. But oddly Eddie is not.

Come morning, Stephan is back and the beautiful man is gone. Stephan calls to the raven and he lands on Robin's arm not Stephan's. And ooh boy does that cause a stir.

"I'm gay you daft creature!" she hisses, "Go back to your master!"

Stephan laughs for the first time and the raven lands on Stephan's wrist.

But the guard has caught up with them and a stray arrow hits the raven. Stephan is distraught. Terrified.

He rides for miles, hard and fast to a small fortress. It's run by a group of outcasts. Max, El, Dustin, Will, Mike, and Lucas. All run out of Hawkins for one reason or another.

Max carries the heaviest sin by far.

Stephan yells at the gate. "Come down here and help him. Now!"

They all come running and Robin is confused.

While El and Will seek to heal the bird, Max and Dustin feed Robin. She's worried about Stephan. But Dustin tells her Mike and Lucas have him.

Robin catches Will and El covering the body of a naked Eddie with a wound in his shoulder right where the raven was shot. So she gets the truth out of Max and Dustin about the curse that binds them together but keeps them apart. At night Eddie is a human and Stephan a wolf, and during the day, Stephan is a human and Eddie the raven. Never can they see each other.

Robin is upset. That's horrible.

But the Party has a plan. They just have to get Stephan to agree to it.

Come morning the bird is fully healed and they set off again, Max and Dustin following behind. Stephan refuses to listen to their plan and insists his going to kill the Bishop will break the curse.

The bishop is tired of waiting and sends out a wolf hunter, Yuri to kill Stephan.

There is a harrowing moment that night when poor Eddie and Robin think Stephan has been caught in one of these traps, but thanks to the quick thinking of Max and Robin they kill the hunter in one of his own traps.

But it's too close for comfort. They need to end this and fast.

They travel all day, getting nearer to the city once again. When they camp at night, it's near a frozen lake that they had skirted that morning.

Only when the wolf attempts to cross it, he falls in. And with everyone's help and the big ass sword, Robin manages to save the wolf.

In the morning before the sun fully comes over the horizon, Robin makes a lean-to casting Eddie in shadow long enough for Stephan to be human long enough to see Eddie before he fully transforms into a bird.

Robin tells Stephan that she lost the sword in the lake and Stephan in his anger pushes her. She lands on the ground and he sees the great big gouges from where the wolf had scratched her helping him out of the lake.

He apologies and hugs her.

They make it to the town and Max insists that if Stephan waits until the eclipse to kill the Bishop the curse will be broke for sure. But Stephan can't trust her. Tells her to kill Eddie if he fails. If the bells ring, he's failed.

He goes in and with a sword he takes off a soldier he kills attacks Mass.

He kills Tommy but before he can kill the Bishop, one of the guards manage to ring the bell just as the eclipse starts. Stephan is gutted.

But before he can kill himself, Eddie comes running in human.

Amended Theory for the FNAF Movie!

I added this to my first theory but I decided to make it its own post so it's easier to find! So after watching the movie in theaters again, I’m gonna add and also change just a few things based on more information.

❌ Spoilers for the FNAF movie below! ❌

• I still believe Mike is Afton’s biological son (Garrett and Abby are not)

• I still believe Vanessa is Afton’s adopted daughter (she was adopted after he lost Mike during the divorce)

• Based on others theories, I’m now believing that Mike’s “dad” is the stand-in for Henry Emily in the movie. The reason he isn’t mentioned as an owner in the training tapes is because Afton is a known narcissist and wouldn’t want to share credit with anyone or he left the company before that training tape was made. His name in the movie is Henry Schmidt.

• Afton’s wife divorces him and marries Henry, taking Mike with her. Mike is too young to remember Afton. Henry left Fazbear Entertainment after marrying Afton’s ex-wife, it is unclear if he left of his own volition or if Afton more or less kicked him out

• This would explain why Afton targeted Garrett specifically, especially since he left the state to follow the Schmidt’s while they were camping. It wouldn’t make sense to leave to just snatch a random kid from a random camping ground. Garret’s kidnapping was a targeted attack, Garrett is the son of Mr. Schmidt and Afton’s ex-wife. He took him to hurt his ex-wife

• That being said, this would make Garrett a great stand-in for the Puppet since in the games, Charlie (Henry’s daughter) is Afton’s first kill and eventually goes on to possess the Puppet after her death

• I’m also making a slight change to what I said about Abby, I do believe she is the daughter of Mr. Schmidt and Afton’s ex-wife after Garrett was taken. I do think Mike said “our mother died” instead of “her mother died”.

• Mike describing his family life as picture perfect, spending time together, saying grace at dinner, it all seems a little too good to be true. I feel like there’s more to Mike’s family that meets the eye

• Also, it’s never clearly stated that Mike’s “dad” died, all Mike says is “dad couldn’t handle it”, which isn’t super clear. He could still be alive at this point

• Afton clearly knew who Mike was when he read his name in his file, even though he hasn’t seen him in years. I think he recognized traits from himself and his ex-wife while he was studying him. And as to why Afton attacked him at the end of the movie, we know that he is not above hurting his family (he legit stabbed Vanessa and stole his ex-wife’s kid presumably)

I hope my ramblings make sense, but this is how I see the story progressing in the sequels!

I know there's no chance of it being Canon but...

I'm so making Cassie Mike's daughter.

I actually thought I was so original with this idea when I came up with it as soon as Cassie said her dad was a technician but apparently a lot of people had the idea.

My Mike differs from Canon anyway so he and Henry survive the FNAF 6 fire.

One of the main things people seem to take issue with is the fact Mike can't reproduce biologically. Other people argue robot daughter or fazgoo or whatever...

Guys, she can be adopted. We don't need crazy FNAF reasons.

In my AU, she's Jeremy Fitzgerald's granddaughter. Cassie's parents died shortly after she was born and Jeremy wouldn't be able to look after her, getting older and needing care himself after the whole... '87 situation.

So Jeremy asks Mike to take her as his own. He's still grandpa Jeremy but he wants her to have a father. And who better than his friend? Someone who would never have biological kids of his own, someone who never planned on dating because of his situation?

Mike is reluctant, he doesn't want to fail her like he did his siblings but Jeremy and Henry manage to convince him.

And he LOVES her.

He does his absolute best, never hurts her, barely raises his voice, makes sure to give her nice things without spoiling her.

Generally, he's a good dad, a million times better than his parents were (well the bar is quite low on that one), he really just wants to be how Henry was to him. But that comes with its own challenges.

Mike works a lot, so Cassie gets quite lonely. She struggles to make friends in school and when she's at home, she's usually playing with her toys by herself, watching TV or rereading Mike's technician manuals.

That's all for now. Want to do some art for this so expect that when I can! And maybe my animatronic OC.

(Ha ha just realised my animatronic oc is called Cassy. Well, Kassy in Security Breach but that's a cool detail.)

Will just. Fucking eat raw butter. Sticks usually. He does this in front of Henry one day and he just kinda… doesn’t break eye contact. Neither of them mention it again, except for the time Henry ALSO ate a full stick of butter. In the kitchen. At 1 am. Which Mike caught him doing.

Henry kinda adopts him after The Scoop™️ Mike has called him dad on accident at least once. Henry cried about it that night

Discovers FNF and loves it. Experiments with music because of it

Long haaaaair after scoop. Like @fazgoo-connoiseur-1987 ‘s design. (Which I love by the way.) he also has grey hair. Like fazgoo’s design.

That fucker needs glasses so bad. But only after the scoop. He doesn’t know why but his vision went to shit after that. Henry helps him find some glasses :) he gets thick square ones with the magnetic frames.

Five nights at Freddy’s but it's Batman.

If you were expecting this to make sense....Don't.

I started ranting about this while half asleep.

I'm not following any time line just game order.

Also we're skipping fnaf 2.

Barbara Gordon is Charlotte "Charlie" Emily.

She is killed by Joe Chill aka the Joker aka William Afton aka the Purple Guy.

Her father, Jim Gordon aka Henry Emily is devastated. He has no idea how this occurred.

Not a clue.

Totally didn't see the purple car at the crime scene.

A purple car he sees every morning.

... Nope.

He goes to the cops but it's Gotham so they don't do shit.

However, because it's Gotham Batman shows up to help.

But unfortunately no one knows who killed poor Babs so gotta do some investigating.

Also there's been a string of dissappearances around the restaurant.

People are loving calling it "the missing children's incident."

And the cops are doing nothing so Batman is also investigating that and wonders if the two are connected.

Bat's makes the great decision to go undercover as a nighttime security guard.

And despite the fact he is very clearly billionaire Bruce Wayne in a security uniform.

No one recognises him.

He is now Mike Schmidt.

... You know still a better name for his cover than Matches Malone.

And because I recently watched Batman: The Doom that came to Gotham.

Great, one of the weirdest things I've ever watched.

... Don't watch it if you like Talia because... Yikes.

Anyway, so Bruce is very much on his fear works because villians are superstitious and cowardly.

I don't believe in magic, everything can be explained by science.

...And than Golden Freddy bursts into the office.

Had to rework a few things than.

It takes him less than 5 nights to figure it all out.

Beats the shit out of and gets Joe Chill arrested.

But it's Gotham and FNAF so it doesn't even go that far.

Not that they know for years later.

During this time Bruce adopts another kid, Jason.

Yeah Dick is here but he left to another city.

He's officially the smart one.

No he doesn't have a character equivalent he's just... There.

Jason however later turns out to be Jason Chill aka the son of Joe Chill.

Aka this worlds Michael Afton.

Gets wind his real father isnt Willis Todd but Joe Chill.

Goes after him, despite him being in hiding for years.

Does this by working at Fazbear Frights as a nighttime security guard.

Witnesses Joe Chill destroying the animatronics.

Releasing the spirits and causing Joe Chill to back into his Spring lock suite.

Multiple springlock failures occure.

Jason gets on tape that he's the murderer and killed Barbara Gordon.

Bruce and Jim show up and together they set the place on fire with Joe Chill's body inside.

But no body is ever found.

One of the old locations starts up again.

Bruce finds out Joe Chill had another son, and adopts him.

Leaving out the whole... We set him on fire.. Maybe.

This kid is Tim Chill aka the crying child.

Who Jason likes to mess with and Tim messes with him back in turn.

Jason plays a seemingly harmless prank on Tim... That he ends up taking too far.

And in his defence no one knew that the Golden Freddy animatronic had the jaw strength of a shark.

Bruce goes into mourning.

The body goes missing.

Jason wanting to fix things does his own investigation and finds Circus Baby's entertainment and rentals.

Ran by Chill robotics.

Turns out Joe Chill decided to literally put his child back together.

And infused Baby with his remnant.

His lil clown.

Though both sides of Tim, both Joker Jr and the brother of Jason fight over Jason's fate.

Whether he should live or die.

Joker Jr I mean Baby wins and Jason is scooped.

Dick, who was staying in Gotham for Tim's funeral, realises Jason has gone missing.

And goes out to search for him.

Finding the his brother now a disturbing shade of purple and an undead zombie.

Gets Jason back home, Jason is basically catatonic only repeating "You won't die, you won't die" over and over.

Bruce gives him a big hug, apologising for blaming Jason and pushing him away.

Though Jason is convinced Tim's fate is his fault.

He ends up puking up Ennard, which Bruce captures and puts in the Batcave.

They take what's left of Baby and upload Tim's consciousness to a robotic version of him Jim just... Had on hand.

Along with a robot Barbara.

... Yeah don't, don't worry about it.

Jason apologises profusely, Tim calls him a dumbass, things are finally right with the world.

Butt this isn't enough for Jim who realises an animatronic can't replace his Barbara.

Decides if I can't have my happy ending none of you can.

Has a redo birthday party for Tim and sets the place on fire.

... Except it does literally nothing and Bruce shoves him in Arkham and just takes Babs back with him.

Way to go smart guy.

Damian Wayne aka Gregory shows up at some point. He got told he couldn't go to the pizzaplex.

And went anyway.

Gave everyone a heart attack, stole Glamrock Freddy and made a friend in Cassandra Cain aka Vanessa.

A trained assassin who Joe Chill was trying to hypnotise into killing for him.

They tried to kill each other if the cause of a night so they're friends now.

Bruce adopts another child all is well with the world.

Until Jonathan Kent aka Cassie shows up because of a fake message luring him to the pizzaplex saying Damian was in danger.

The mimic gets it's butt kicked, Bruce lectures Clark about not keeping an eye on his son.

The hypocrite.

And everyone goes home.

Oh and Jim and his wife got divorced when Babs died.

His wife taking and raising their son, James Gordon Jr aka Sammy Emily.

Who's just off living life and is still a serial killer.

Soo... Yeah.

... Idk what this is but it exists now.

Here I am- making an entire AU for the Movie just so I can make some more SecurityWaiter content-

To keep from spamming, I’m dropping it under a Read More-

Anyway, in this AU, Vanessa doesn’t exist.

Instead, Evan, Elizabeth, and Michael are William’s kids.

Michael, when he was very young, was removed from the house. There was an, uh, accident, with his Mother, and the CPS took toddler Mike away.

Mike was then adopted out to the Schmidt’s, who changed his last name and raised him as their own.

Evan died young- though unlike in the games, he didn’t die because of the bullies. He was just fascinated by the spring locks, and as little kids are, he got into places he shouldn’t- specifically, the workshop.

He died to Golden Freddy.

William, having lost his wife, his oldest, and now his youngest, snapped.

Blaming Henry Emily, his business partner for his creation’s murder of his son, William got drunk one rainy night and went out.

There, he found his work partner’s daughter, Charlotte, who was locked out of the Pizzaria.

He brought her into the alleyway besides the Pizzaria, and he killed her.

The security puppet, specifically made to keep the children from getting out of the building, then finally got out of its box that the other kids trapped it into, it left the building, and as the rain continued to pour and thunder rolled in the distance, it wrapped itself around Charlotte’s body.

Charlotte was the first, and she went on to possess the Puppet.

Time then passed. After Charlotte died, William noticed that the Puppet’s face was now stained with purple tears, Charlotte’s favorite color, and he figured out that the little girl had possessed the animatronic.

He continued to murder, killing kids one by one. The missing kids incident happened- then another missing kids incident happened, another, another, another.

He got caught a few times, but he was always let go due to the lack of evidence. None the less, the Afton name was not seen highly.

Deciding to move onto higher rate of capturing the kiddies, William made the Funtimes- and subsequently lost his last remaining child to the deathjaws of his creations.

Baby, along with the other Funtimes were locked below William’s house.

Changing his name, William fled Utah and moved to Minnesota.

But, of course, he couldn’t leave his favorite creations behind.

The Puppet, the first, had to go with him.

Along with both of the Springlock suits. Bonnie was his favorite, after all, and he while Baby was vengeful and aggressive, Golden Freddy was nice and placid.

Of course, if he was going to lug all three animatronics with him, he might as well go all the way. He took the other four animatronics, the ones who held 4 of the first 5 children he murdered.

He made sure he still owned the branch of Freddy’s Pizzaria in Minnesota, got rid of the current rundown animatronics still there, and moved in his bunch.

The Puppet grew.. angry at the movement, and much to William’s chagrin, he moved her to the back of the building, in the storage shed, where she would be locked up and far away from the others.

At that, William noticed that the other haunted animatronics were so much more calmer- less aggressive.

Of course, they still murdered, but the killing attempts were no longer pointed towards him.

William was fascinated by that- and thought maybe the reason for that was because of the Puppet’s separation from the others- so he kept her locked there. Forgotten and alone.

Meanwhile, Mike had gained custody of his adopted Little Sister, and was now looking for a job after losing his last.

Meeting up with his Job Coach, Steve Raglin offered him a new job- and the movie began.

A theory about the FNAF movie (MAJOR spoilers ahead):

I think Mike Schmidt is, in fact, William Afton's son. In other words, Michael Afton. Mike simply doesn't remember William because the sleeping pills he was taking screwed with his memories.

Not only that, but I even came up with a reason William killed Garrett Schmidt, Mike's ADOPTIVE younger brother. Simply put, William lost custody of Mike due to fallout from the MCI years ago, so he tracked down the Schmidt family and took revenge by kidnapping Garrett and ending his life. Basically, the Schmidts took one of HIS children, so he retaliated by taking one of THEIR children because he's that vengeful and petty.

William didn't kill Garrett because he loved Mike, though. He did it because he sees his children as his property, and nobody likes having their property taken from them. And something else William doesn't like is when other people are happier than he is (something I deduced due to the game and book versions of him killing Charlotte Emily, which I surmise was done to spite Henry, whom William had expressed jealousy towards in his writings).

I know this theory is pretty flimsy. If Mike is William's son, that would make Vanessa his sister, and neither of them recognized each other at all. (Mike has sleeping pills to blame, but Vanessa has no excuse that we know of.) Not to mention some people interpret Mike and Vanessa's relationship as being more than simply platonic, which would make things VERY weird. Also, if William lost custody of Mike, how did he still have Vanessa around? Is Vanessa even his biological child? Did he kidnap her? Brainwash her?

Not to mention, William's double-take at Mike's last name may disprove this entire theory. That double-take seemed less like William acting and more like a genuine surprised reaction. Not in a "hold up, this is my son" way but in a "hold up, this guy is that Garrett kid's brother" way.

The only reason I'm clinging to this theory is that it gives William an actual motive for killing Garrett instead of it just being at random. Plus, I genuinely feel we need a sequel in order to prove or disprove this theory entirely, so until we get one... yeah.

One detail that's itching my brain is that when we first meet Vanessa, she introduces herself as "Vanessa Shelly". Not Vanessa Afton. Either she was adopted by another family too, or she changed her last name to distance herself from William. I'm not sure which one it might be.

Another detail that's bothering me is that the Missing Children have apparently been contacting Abby for quite some time before the movie begins, and I genuinely wonder WHY that is. How did they find Abby? Why did they want HER to join them, aside from wanting her to be their new BFF? What's so special about Abby? Is she connected to someone important? Is she just naturally receptive to ghosts? I really wanna know!

I'm willing to be wrong about all this, just so y'all know. I just think it's strange that William Afton randomly killed Mike Schmidt's younger brother for seemingly no reason, and I'm not satisfied with it just him doing it randomly.
