I'm in a lot of discord servers now with IRL-talk or vent/rant channels and honestly, it makes me so happy. Because you know you can't get a safe space to just blurt out your emotions and problems to your family, workplace, society even, and anywhere where genuine people would listen and respond if they're ready, if they're online, or if they plainly want to help or talk to you.

In the sea of channels, you also see art stuff, pet stuff, craft stuff, NSFW and SFW stuff. No matter how much divide is there, you feel belonging to something and it's honestly so great for people who feel like they don't belong anywhere in real life.

And there's no pressure to respond back when your voice just gets caught up in your throat or your mind just shuts down after your type stuff. No one's hounding you to reply asap. No one's thinking you're being a dick. Everyone's thinking you're busy, self is a burden, and then it becomes just one very chill, no pressure support group that would either talk you through, hear you out, or distract you based on what you really need rn.

I swear, Tumblr people are the shit (affectionately).
