Allah is Exalted Above the heavens above the great throne (Above all creation). Allah is One in everything related to Allah. "He is the Only God, the Creator of the universe and the Judge of mankind." "He is One (ْلْوَٰحِدُ), Unique (ٱلْأَحَد), Absolutely Merciful and Almighty." No human eye will be able to see Allah till the Day of Judgment. The basic tenet of Islam is '''La ilaha illAllah''' or the meaning of the word of Tawhid - there is no true God or Deity except Allah. It is the ultimate word of Islam, the ultimate sentence of human life. It is through this that the first pillar of Islam, Shahadah, is perfected.

listen i just want to say that gabriel's "no one's ever given me anything before" fucking pushed me down, kicked me in the face and stole my lunch money.

#go2 spoilers #go2 #gabriel has more power than any other angel #and he's used that power to keep aziraphale in place #but being with beelzebub he realizes #he's still as trapped as aziraphale is by staying with heaven #doing the work of the almighty to the letter #even when they undo all the work you had done for them #may be a prestigious position #may give you greater power than anyone #but it will be thankless work #god rewards mankind for their loyalty #but not their angels #and that's what he's realizing #he's understanding how aziraphale could find one demon more important than any ineffable plan #how he could love a demon more than his own divinity #and so when he told crowley he was sorry #it might not be anywhere near the apology crowley or aziraphale deserve #but gabriel without his memories is boiled down to his most basic form #so even without his memories #i think gabriel really WAS sorry #in his own strange extremely roundabout and arrogant way

Random Good Omens HC that will def be disproved in s3:

So y’all know that theory that “Crowley can’t see stars bc of his eyes- that was his punishment for falling” well what if his eyes were the reason he fell. What if Crowley was the Almighty’s favourite and, because of Their bias They tried to save him from falling whilst still punishing him? Like if on the trial day- whatever they did idk I’m imagining a trial occurred even if everyone was declared guilty and cast out- the Almighty was like “For your crime of asking questions, I’ll take away your ability to see what you have created” and gave him the eyes of a snake. However, this was the last straw, for how could They be so cruel to punish someone for asking questions? And Crowley realised that Heaven was not what it pretended to be because HOW could they justify the punishment for his crimes or maybe he just couldn’t live with the shame of having snake eyes (I like the former more) and so he chose to fall instead of remain an angel and live with the loss of his beloved stars. But yeah I just needed to get that out of my head because as much as I like this idea it’s a) prob not gonna happen and b) just yeah.

God alone is Almighty, not the devil.

We are told in Psalm 24:1: “The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.” We belong to the Lord.

Scripture also tells us the devil is the “ruler of this world” (John 12:31) and that he is the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). The devil has no power over the children of God, but only over the “children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:3) — the ones who are not born-again Christians. He is the ruler and the god of those who opposes Christ and His kingdom.

The devil will not rule over hell. As a matter of fact, he’ll be “thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). Such a destiny isn’t only fated for the devil, but all who follow him. All who are not in Christ are His enemies. You are either with Christ or you are against Him. Remember Christ’s own words: “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters” (Matthew 12:30).

There is only One whom you should fear: God. As Ecclesiastes 12:13 tells us: “The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.” Worth noting this is a fear to be encouraged, for it is a reverential awe of God.

Another important point to make is that Satan not only knows Scripture inside and out but he also knows God. Beware of being a great theologian like the devil — knowing God without having a heart for Him.

Ultimately, the devil, along with all who oppose God, will kneel before the King of kings (Philippians 2:10-11).

day 235 of trying not to think about how aziraphale lied right to god's face, lied to angels, went directly against the divine plan several times, almost killed a child, committed a causal sin or two, wanted to speak to god to stop the apocalypse but got metatron instead (something something suggestion box) etc and crowley got cast out of heaven for asking a question, one of those angels sauntered vaguely downwards and it wasn't crowley
