How does Mychael know how to correctly pronounce words if he has been isolating himself from people??

Oh, fun question! For the sake of brevity, he's lived a long time. Starting out he definitely couldn't speak English at all, but he started out eavesdropping on others' conversations, especially paying attention on children talking to their mothers.

Once the world grew modern, he started listening and picking up words through radio broadcasts and television through shop windows. That's also when he started visiting the library too, struggling to grasp vocab and grammar with basic kid books (like Peter and Jane, for example).

I'd say he doesn't start talking confidently well into his late teens and even then his grammar is real awkward. It's only better once he figured out how to read and fixed his own pronunciation.

He’s so good at bantering but it all crumbles when he’s actually, truly fighting with someone he cares about rather than views as a game partner

The funniest thing to me about the fact that black butler is coming back for another season after like 7 years is that since the last season aired it was revealed in the manga that the blonde chief character is actually American which means the people who dub the show have to decide whether or not they're gonna continue making the American voice actor do the shitty English accent or if he's just gonna drop it out of no where and not talk about it
