I had a dream footage of deltarune chapter 3 was revealed, and among other things it featured a cutscene where noelle had a nightmare about a car crash on a farm where she saw a cylindrical (but horizontal?) explosion of darkness by the wreckage which was for some reason taken in the fanbase as symbolism that asriel was secretly dead the whole time. She also saw a normal cow that was there just kind of by the road. A new type of “teeth” was introduced to the game, “broken fake teeth”, which was something that if you were hit while it was equipped it would cause an explosion and hurt the enemy. In the dream teeth were just an established part of deltarune’s health system. I don’t know either

They also showed what tenna looked like but he had a very garish color scheme with various clashing shades of magenta, for some reason had a feather boa, a peace sign...object?? it wasn’t a necklace it was just sort of attached to his torso, a giant belt buckle with the toyota logo on it (except it said toyoto, for copyright reasons) and most inexplicably, a giant steering wheel was attached to his head basically surrounding his entire body. He was weirdly more themed around cars than TV at all in practice and nobody understood why. Here is my drawing attempting to recapture

This character design was universally extremely unpopular, mostly due to the tv part of the design not having antenna so the name didn’t make sense. Also, the game was in 3D now, and the character had a passive effect of if you ever stopped pressing buttons on the controller in his presence you would just automatically move towards him until you were clipping through the model. Toby had a life size statue of him made in real life for some reason. Everyone was really mad about it

it's just really funny to me to imagine Fabian actually being a great big brother honorable nemesis.

like, putting a nemesis ward on the nursery with aelwyn's help since "it won't do if they die before their eighteenth birthday, will it?" (aelwyn, deeply sarcastic: "well of course, that is exactly why I put the ward on adaine's room." fabian, too deep in denial for sarcasm: "see? you get it")

gifting them a battle sheet baby blanket since they should start preparing for their battle early on (and yes it's extra fluffy, it's for a baby stop laughing everybody)

generally trying to teach them everything he knows "so their battle to the death will be a fair one"

giving their adventuring party the same lecture on tactics that the bad kids got from his papa

hunting down chungledown bim and any other nemesis so his sibling is the only one who could get a piece of his fund (he just wants it to stay in the family, shut up)

just. fabian being an amazing big brother but also if you call him that to his face he will cut you

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.
