I’m trying to wrap my head around how a mega church preacher turned high school teacher tells his child their son is dead. I’m in no way expecting him to take responsibility but he wanted to screw over a teenage girl and now his grandson is dead. One of his friends did it. They can’t bring him back (right now) and they can’t move his body.
His parents sitting around waiting to hear about how some other adventuring party did on their test, how we got to use magic Helio gave him to save them. But the hours just… keep passing. Do they know about Lucy? Have they met the Rat Grinders? Do they talk about what great kids they are?

did someone say 4k thistlecaster one-shot complete w Kissing
In one world, Gorgug quits the Owlbears in early spring and immediately feels a weight lift off his shoulders. He talks to Fabian about it, and his heart aches a little when his face crumples and he points out that practice was the only real time that they got to hang out without the fate of the world hanging over them, but he gets Fabian to be okay with it. His eye shines a little too bright when he mumbles about missing him, and Gorgug is mesmerized by it the way he always is, wrapped up in the feeling of warmth and relief and his connection to his friend. He smiles and says that he’ll miss him too, and then reminds him that he’ll see him all the time, and their friends barge in and they’re all talking and laughing and chatting and he gets swept away into the joy of it.
Life moves on. Gorgug doesn’t kiss him. He doesn’t tell him.
Except in this world, he does.
...
Gorgug responds to Fabian being worried about being left behind the first way he thinks of: by kissing him again, and again, and again.
