My rescued fighting rooster is there to help! He's rescued from Hawaii and has helped me keep quail and baby chickens warm for two years! Never has hurt anyone. 🥰😍 He's also an indoor rooster due to severe leg and keel trauma. He doesn't wear a diaper at night. He has his own bed. Lol

I raise chickens and quail as pets so they're raised in doors. :)

*how I got him! I used to live in Hawaii and cock fighting is really bad there.. I saw him with what appeared to be his intestines hanging out. I jumped a fence, grabbed him, jumped back over and ran before anyone could see me. Lol. I run a rescue for roosters out of Hawaii with a lot of other rehabbers. After a ton of medical care and flying him to Illinois.. Here he is, helping me raise quail and chickens as pets. :)"

Just goes to show that ex fighting roosters even with trauma can make wonderful pets. This handsome boy isn't an outlier it actually isnt uncommon for ex fighters be gentle household companions as long as they aren't housed with other roosters!

I went to a restaurant

Being autistic, I always use headphones because people be loud.

Imagine my surprise when a woman shows up with her autistic son! He unfortunately did not have headphones, so he was freaking out a lot as his surprisingly understanding mom tried in vain to help out. She then noticed me with my headphones and asked if she could borrow them, since he forgot his at home.

Finally, bringing a spare pair of headphones paid off! He was so overjoyed when I pulled out a second pair and handed it to him. It was so satisfying seeing him instantly calm down. He was even polite enough to return them to me himself.

Just like that, my faith in humanity rose by a very tiny amount.

thank you, dear anon!! I'm ALWAYS happy for a chance to blabber about my WIPs, but beware, for they are plentiful, and this will probably be a semi-long post 😅 For the Hazbin WIPs, I'll leave links where available!

Hazbin Hotel WIPs:

I have two (three) Hazbin Hotel WIPs that are sooo so so dear to me. One focuses on Vox x female OC, the other on Valentino x female OC. Yes, I have a type, and so what 😔 anyway - the Vox one actually has Vox as a good guy, although he fumbles a lot with his relationship with female OC. He's VERY new to loving and healthy relationships. Vox and his lover flee to the Hazbin Hotel to seek refuge from Valentino's wrath, and he even forms a semi-sorta-kinda cordial, albeit strained, friendship with Alastor (who will ALSO have a partner!). Character development all-around, yippeeee!! Tonight I'm Saying Goodbye Valentino is the title, and it currently has two chapters up on AO3!

The Valentino x female OC WIP focuses on female OC as being new in Hell and landing in Valentino's clutches. Quickly rising in the ranks of sex work, she eventually becomes a top earning girl, "competing" with Angel Dust although they're actually really good friends. At some point, Valentino becomes so unbearably infatuated with female OC that he accuses her of working succubus magic on him. Eventually, she knocks it into his thick skull that she's not a succubus, and that if he's feeling this way about her, there must be some good fucking reason. Long story short, they become the evil power couple of hell that makes everyone cower <3 This one has the (mouthful) title of As the sun sets on your mortal life, the moon will shine on your afterlife! 3 chapters up so far on AO3!

The third Hazbin Hotel WIP focuses on Vox AND Valentino as they stalk and harass female OC in true staticmoth fashion. I haven't really written a whole lot on this one, but I can already tell I'm gonna LOVE it 😭 Since it's still very new, there's no link for it yet 😔

Original WIPs:

Hitman-inspired novel, my beloved 😭 this one is incredibly dear to me. It focuses on this female straight-A student whose only career wish is to become a hitman. She gets into a crime syndicate where she starts working as a brothel girl, and then steadily "grows" throughout the book. I'm thinking it'll be two books, at least. The first one to kinda explore her background and her relationships with everyone around her, and then the second one to focus on her as an actual assassin / hitman. Eventually, she does reach her goal, and having hitman'ed for a good decade or so, she has accumulated so much money that she can settle down with her partner and their army of dogs in the Swiss alps 🥺 It features some LGBT (bisexuality and trans people) and mental illness without outright demonising either. I'm very proud of it so far! It sits at like... 108k words 😅 just for the first book. I plan on getting this published - whether traditionally or self-published, I dunno yet.

I also have this other original WIP that's a sci-fi / romance novel idea. It features a bisexual / pansexual lady who gets gifted a state-of-the-art phone by her work. This phone has some seriously well-developed AI (think Siri from Apple, only far better), and since this leading lady is quite handy with engineering and very crafty, she fixes up a body for her phone's AI, and kinda like takes the AI and installs it into the frame? It's made of scrap and old janky robot parts, but neither of them cares, because now that AI has arms and a body, they can finally hug and kiss each other 😭 ❤️ eventually, the AI-turned-android will get upgrades. An important part of this story is the fact that android-human relationships are VERY frowned upon, and our leading lady and her android """friend""" will be the leaders in a revolution, of sorts, to make android-human relationships legal. This story will, maybe obviously, very much be a social commentary, but made to cater to me and the robotfuckers 😎 I do also plan to publish this one, at some point!

omg in california, protestors interrupted a primary elective and caused them to walk off the stage, i cant believe i listened to this LIVE. the radio and news stations, ALL PANICKING because they couldnt 'silence the protestors'. im waiting for it to trend but im also shocked or unaware why its not trending yet??

it happened 20 minutes ago in hollywood, during adam schiff's thing. if anyone says its fake or scripted, it wasnt. the reaction from the news ppl was immediately to panic, attempt to cover/dismiss it, and then shift the blame/intention as 'IsNT tHErE a VEtTiNg ProCEss bEfORe LetTing TheM IN??'

they immediately shifted into the 'technicalities' of the protest instead. anyways, im so proud of the california protestors. the euphoria i got from seeing group of unempathetic megalomaniacs panic so hard at the passion for loving and protecting humanity

I'm obsessed with the big gurl who hates gothic lolitas and the otome prince who lives in his bubble. One incredibly hot and personable, the other incredibly cute and fascinating. I have to say I spend way too much energy fantasising about Die and painfully lusting after bandomen in general, but that's part of the bangya experience.

There are many things that make me happy

- Bees (no surprises there, I get very excited and travelled to Tasmania purely on the chance I would get to see bumblebees for the first time)

- When I'm talking to someone and they're about to launch into a story and they go "OK so" right beforehand. It's like a activation phrase for the serotonin because I know they're gonna be talking about something they're passionate about and I like seeing the little spark in their eyes

- Hardspace Shipbreaker, I have never had a game hook me so thoroughly. Just slowly moving through space, systematically disassembling derelict spaceships and unionising with the other workers against a corrupt corporation while listening to dnd podcasts took up way to much of my time. Hits all the good brain buttons

- Estradot estradiol 100mg patches, I cannot contain how much starting hrt has been an absolute godsend to my mental health, like genuinely wild to think about how much dysphoria was messing me up and everyday I get to slap the titty patch on me is better than the last

- This stray cat that's been visiting us the last week or so that we're slowly trying to kidnap so we can take them to the vet to see if they have an owner or not and if no, then oh darn we get another cat

Thank you so much! I fell asleep during my first viewing of ANH, too! Of course, I was only 4 at the time, so I had an excuse. I would see it plenty of times after, and grew up playing Princess Leia (my queen) in my back yard.
