Ladies, Gentleman, and All Other Colors, I present to thee: Deltarune Parallels
So about a week ago, I put out a poll asking when I should reveal this little project of mine, and with an overwhelming 2 votes the people said I should release now, so I am pleased to announce the existence of the one and only
(It's currently in a very early stage, so not everything is fleshed out, but here's what I have so far)
Parallels is a little side project of mine which takes the current deltarune world, and focuses on a different cast.
The Human: Terro
Terro is an adventurous person. They're often very quiet while in public, but completely change when alone or with friends, becoming drastically more social and friendly.
The Monster: Ruby
Ruby is a jack of all trades when it comes to knowledge. If you have a question about just about anything, she probably at least knows where to guide you for answers. Above all else however, she loves gardening and nature
The Neighbor: Jack
Jack is a simple monster. If someone gets scared, himself included, he's happy. Scaring runs in his family, and he's happy to keep up the tradition. Although being Hallow entails far more than just scaring. After all, a halloween scare contrasts sharply with holiday spirit

The story would occur during the story of regular Deltarune in hometown, however, instead of playing as kris, you instead play as Terro, accompanied by Ruby on your search to find out what happened to Kris and Susie
Now then, with all those introductions aside, you're probably wondering where this will go. That is a good question, I do not know, but I have some options, which is where you come in. Either:
A Game
Pros
-The intended experience for parallels
-Will probably be the most enjoyable
-Gives me an excuse to finally get into game design and begin something big
Cons
-Will take forever (Look no further than UTY taking 7 years)
-Requires me to learn music design, and game design
-Unless someone actively asks to join, I have no clue how I would expand my team
A webcomic
Pros
-Frequent Content that still follows the plot
-Follows the plot most accurately without being the game itself
Cons
-I cannot draw well and I don't have any art creation software other than aseprite (There is a reason I went into sprite art)
-I'm not sure how I would write this, and I don't think it will turn out that good
You can submit asks, and the characters will answer
Pros
-Can exist alongside other options freely (honestly depending on what happens with my question box, it will probably just come with whatever other option is chosen)
-Takes basically no effort on my end

-Barely gives any plot
-If used alone, makes certain characters forever unknown

-I genuinely cannot think of a more boring option for all this lore to be revealed. Like seriously, this doc just lists everything out that I have

How They React To You Getting Injured | WWE Headcanon
This isn’t Halloween or smut related but I got inspired by takeover: 31

Adam Cole;
Adam will rush over to you unless he isn’t at ringside then he will come out.
Getting annoyed at your opponent than you. Also, the ref, and the medics when they take too long.
Adam will verbally abuse your opponent telling them like “You are nothing.” And “How dare you.” So on. All the while shielding you from another attack.
He’ll normally tell them “What took you so long?” and stop diddle daddling, she’s injured.” The rest of ue will have to hold him back because he gets very overprotective, and letting his anger getting the best of him.
Adam will be by your side. Trying to comfort you. Give you words of motivation. Mainly saying your opponent will pay. And how you didn’t deserve this.
All the while looking back at the ref holding back your opponent. Glaring at them.
If one of Adams opponents hurts you while you are at ringside, then he loses it, brutally beating them up. Course he checks on you first before beating them up. Making sure you are okay. That the medics are helping you. The rest of ue will have to pry him off his opponent.
Adam will be there with you in the medic room or hospital. Holding your hand as they give you the results.
Alexa Bliss;
Alexa is devastated.
It pains her to see you are injured.
She will baby you. Making sure you are okay.
She will glare at your opponent, or whoever attacked you.
She will then declare a match with them. Declaring payback. Beating them up as revenge.
Aj Styles;
Aj will rush to the medic room. Going over to you and cupping the side of your face with both hands. looking you over.
He will then ask the doc if you are okay. When he gets his answer, you will help you get your stuff and get out of there.
Fussing over you. Making sure you have been fed, that you aren’t thirsty. Etc.
Cuddling you the best he can without hurting your injury.
Leaving kisses on the top of your head.
Andrade Cien Almas;
Andrade is angry that your opponent would do that. As well as nervous and worried.
He would quickly rush over to you once you came through the curtain. Wrapping his arm around your and picking you up.
Carrying you to the medic room. Telling you that everything is going to be okay.
Once he has reached the medic room, he will gently put you on the table. Waiting/watching the doc examine you.
Holding your hand as he mumbled to himself.
If its bad news, then Andrade will get annoyed and mad that your opponent could be so reckless.
Andrade will then coddle you. Making sure you are cared for.
Bayley;
Bayley will beat up whoever choose to injure you. With a steel chair.
During the beat-up she will yell for a medic to come help you. then go back to beating up the superstar who hurt you. brutally beating them up.
Once she is happy with the beating, she gave to that person, she will then rush over to you. pushing the medics out of the way. Then telling them to hurry up and do their job. She will reassure you that you are okay.
Becky Lynch;
Becky will save you by hitting your opponent in the back with a steel chair. Or their shoulder. Making them recoil. She won’t stop there, she will assault them with the chair till they either run off or just submit, going into the fetal position.
Becky will then rush over to you. Helping you up. And putting your arm over her shoulder helping you stand up. She will then walk you up the ramp, grumbling about how stupid the person who attacked you is and who they will pay.
She will then take you to the medic, telling them they should have come, she will stay there as they examine you. keeping a careful eye on them.
After you get the results, she will care for you. She will also tweet the opponent who attacked you. calling them out and so on…
Billie Kay;
Billie will baby you. holding you close to her.
Verbally abusing the female superstar who hurt you.
Calling for a medic. When the medic comes, she will tell them to help you which they do.
She will also follow them and you to the back.
No matter if the injury is non-serious or serious, she will baby you.
Bobby Fish;
Bobby babies you when you get injured. Whether it’s a scratch, bump, bruise, hair pulling, thumb to the eyes, fracture, sprain, bruised ribs, broken bones or rips, tears in the muscle, broken nose, a cut, separation, concussion, steal chair, botched moves, dislocations, torn ligaments, etc.
To the point, he doesn’t even let you walk, even if the injury has nothing to do with your leg, or ankle or foot, or knee.
Depending on if you are in ue or just an ally he will rush to ringside. Coming straight over to you. Yelling for a medic.
If you are still in the ring, he will pull you out, or just put himself in the firing line for you.
Bobby will try and reassure you. All the while yelling at the ref and your opponent. Honestly, his yelling gives you a headache.
Bobby will pick you up getting a bit restless waiting for the medics to come. And bring you to them. Course they meet him and you in the middle of the way. Bobby isn’t too happy about. He will then tell them to help you desperately. All the while holding your hand.
Bobby is with you. Even in the ambulance if you must go in one.
No matter what the results are of your injury, Bobby will baby you. He takes care of you to the point even if you sneeze, he gets worried.
He will ramble about your injury and how it’s all the refs and the opponents’ fault.
He is always by your side. Never leaving it.
If you have blood on you then he will wipe it off with the towel he has in his back pocket.
If it is one of ue’s enemies or opponents, then Bobby will seek revenge.
He will scold you for leaving your destinated resting place.
“You should be resting.” Bobby scolds you. Making you let out a huff.
If you even wince, he will ask you if you want pain meds.
Buddy Murphy;
Buddy feels a lot of emotions, pain, fear and anger.
He will quickly rush to your side once you make it through the curtain. Or to the medic room.
And hold your hand.
If it’s Seth who hurt, you then he will tell you Seth will pay, of course, you tell him not to worry about it, but Buddy doesn’t listen.
Buddy will be there for you, then make sure someone is watching you before giving Seth or whoever it was a piece of his mind.
If its Seth then Buddy will come back injured, and well the both of you end up taking care of each other.
However, if not then Buddy will take you home, or to the hotel and take care of you. all the while being a gentleman.
Candice LeRae;
Candice is beyond livid at the person who hurt you.
She wants revenge and she does it in the most heelish way as possible. Aka, jumping them.
First, she will make sure you are alright, then she will attack them until they are injured. Sending them a message.
She will then go back to you. Taking care of you.
Cesaro;
Cesaro is worried about you.
He will rush over to you when you come through the curtains.
Wrapping your arm around his shoulder or his waist. Assisting you to the medic room.
Holding your hand as they examine you. Comforting you. the pad of his thumb rubbing soothing circles on the back of your hand.
When you go back home or wherever the both of you are staying, Cesaro will take care of you. catering to your every need.
Charlotte Flair;
Charlotte isn’t exactly happy. She is worried about you. but she is also, pissed off at the superstar who attacked you.
She will help you go towards the gorilla. Then calling for a medic frantically.
She will make sure you alright and taken care of. She will watch them as well.
If she doesn’t like the results, then she will get a second opinion.
Charlotte will then baby you. Comforting you. And taking care of you. She will also, get overprotective.
Verbally abusing them on twitter.
Charlotte will then attack them when they least expect it.
Dakota Kai;
Dakota is in a full-blown rage.
She doesn’t hesitate to hurt whoever hurt you. course with the help of Raquel.
Once she is happy with the beaten, she gave, she will then come over to you.
Yelling for medics to help you.
She will get up the medics if they hurt you.
She will take care of you. Almost babying you.
Drew McIntyre;
Drew feels a lot of emotions coursing through his veins, guilt, anger and worry.
Guilt if it is because of him. Also, anger. You don’t deserve to get injured because some superstar is after his championship.
Drew will suppress his anger in front of you.
Focusing on you. And how you feel.
He will make sure a medic can attend to you.
Hovering above you. And telling you everything will be okay.
Holding your hand.
He will even take your bag to the car. Helping you in the car. Depends on the injury though he will still put your seat belt on for you. Even though you protest.
He will drive at a careful speed.
When you get home or to a hotel, he will help you inside.
Drew will cater to your every need. Babying you.
Watching movies or tv shows with you, cuddle into his side.
When you doze off Drew will vent on twitter.
Drew does watch you like a hawk.
Elias Samson;
Elias is more worried than mad. Yes, he is still mad. It is just worry cancels it out.
He wants to make sure you are okay.
He will coddle you. hovering over you like a mother hen.
Making sure the medics look at you.
Catering to your every need.
Glaring at anyone who is in your way or path.
He treats you like you are made of glass.
Finn Balor;
Finn will straight out give a mouthful to the superstar who hurt you. If it is one of his opponents or challengers that hurt you, then he will verbally and physically assault them. “You hurt my girl, I’ll hurt you.” He shouts.
Multiple refs have to pull him off.
Finn will then stalk off to you.
Telling the medics to do their job.
Finn isn’t too happy when he sees you wincing.
When they have finally finished, he will take you back to the hotel and look after you. Babying you a bit too much. All the while grumbling about the person who attacked you.
Jey Uso:
Jey is mad, annoyed and worried about you.
He is there for you when you get taken to the medic room.
Holding your hand. Being by your side. Comforting you.
Jey will also, take care of you once the both of you leave the arena.
Taking your bag for you to the car. Opening the car door.
Opening the door when you get out. Assisting you to the front door, opening the front door.
He will then proceed to watch over you like a hawk. You love him but it gets a little overbearing.
Jey will then tell you how grateful he is that you are in his life.
Jimmy Uso:
Jimmy isn’t exactly all thrilled when you get injured.
It hurts him to see you injured and in pain.
Jimmy will be by your side. Holding your hand. Reassuring you.
If it’s a serious injury Jimmy’s heart will increase every second.
Jimmy will take good care of you. Taking your bags, opening the car door and door for you.
Waiting on you hand and foot.
Kyle O’Reilly;
Kyle gets all worried when you get injured. He gets all nervous with any injury you sustain.
Even more anxious when you decide to still go through the match with a serious injury, like a concussion or some sort of serious injury, like a torn muscle or broken bone.
Kyle even tries to talk some sense into you. But you just decline and push him out of the way.
Kyle finds it hard to watch when you get injured. It pains him and breaks his heart all at once.
When he can’t take it, he will even put his own body in front of you getting the hit instead of you.
Say if someone attacked you, he would come out and get up them, saving you from their fury.
Kyle will pull you out of the ring if he has too.
He will always check on you after the match has finished. Asking you where it hurts. Though he knows because he always keeps a watchful eye on your moves.
Kyle goes into a fit of rage when one of his enemies/opponents attacks you. He’ll go to you make sure you are okay, also, the rest of the ue boys will come to your aid, then attack the superstar who attacked you.
Kyle likes to be near you when you get injured. He would follow closely near you if you carried away on a gurney, or assist you by wrapping his arm around you, making sure you put all your body weight on him.
Kyle never leaves your side. Especially when they are examining you. Holding your hand. Or rubbing his hand up and down in a comforting matter.
Kyle will get one of the boys to get his and your things. Or get one of them to watch you. While he gets your things.
If you must be rushed to the hospital, then he will get in the back with you.
Kyle will baby you, especially in the car. Opening your door. Putting your seatbelt on for you. Asking if you are okay.
Kyle will voice his concerns to you, which makes you comfort him.
Getting you food and something to drink. Being by your side. If you must take pain pills or antibiotics, he will make sure you take them.
Pressing kisses on the top of your head, cheek, forehead, lips and neck, also, your shoulders.
Watching you from the corner of his eyes.
“I’m not going to die Kyle; you can leave me for a second.” You mutter.
Kyle wishes he could take the pain away. He wishes he could transfer the pain you are feeling onto him. But he can't. So, he just watches you wince in pain with sadden eyes.
Lana;
Lana will scream at the superstar who attacked you, before coming to your side.
She will beg and plead the medics to help you. Which they do.
Once you know the results of your injury, Lana will take care of you.
Both of you end up watching Netflix and eating ice cream.
All the while Lana looks after you.
Also, baby’s you.
Maryse;
Maryse goes straight up to you.
Cupping the side of your face. And pouting. Asking where it hurts.
When you tell her, she gets annoyed at the superstar who hurts you. Insulting them in French.
Maryse then will turn back around to you. Yelling for a medic.
When the medics take their sweet old time, she wraps your arm around her and assists you. Unless it’s a neck injury then she won’t move you.
When the medics finally came. She is relieved, though not much.
Maryse takes care of. Making sure you okay. She baby’s you. pressing kisses against your face.
She will also cuss out the superstar who attacked you.
Mickie James;
Mickie comes to your aid, making sure you aren’t attacked again. She will save you from their assault.
Throwing your arm around her and pulling you away from the danger. Till both of you are backstage.
She will then call for a medic. Making sure you get thoroughly checked out.
Being there for you throughout the entire process.
Reassuring you.
Rubbing your shoulder.
“Don’t worry y/n, they will pay.” She promises you.
Naomi;
Naomi isn’t happy. She is also, worried. Yes, but also annoyed, especially if it is your own doing you are injured.
She will give you an ear full when you get checked out and an earful when she takes you home.
She will also give you annoyed looks and serious look as well.
Despite giving you lectures; she will take care of you. And watch you just in case you injure yourself again.
Paige;
Paige gets worried when you get injured. She gets even more nervous when it’s an injury to your neck.
She doesn’t want you to miss a lot of months out on the bench.
She is by your side the whole time. holding your hand. Reassuring you. trying not to let her worry show.
Paige knows accidents happen in the ring, but she just can’t help feeling annoyed.
She will take care of you either way if it’s a non-serious injury or a serious injury.
Peyton Royce;
Peyton gets all sooky around you. It hurts her to see you injured.
She smoothers you to the point you can’t breathe.
She will try and reassure you that you are going to be okay. Calling for medics.
She will listen intently to what they say.
She baby’s you to the point you need space.
If you even, try to get up she will scold you.
She will then proceed to tell you how grateful she is you are okay and how grateful she is that you are in her life.
Peyton will then declare to you that she will get revenge.
Roderick Strong;
Roddy is livid. Beyond that.
More so at the ref and your opponent.
Yelling for medics to come to your aid. And getting frustrated when they don’t magically come when announced.
Roddy hovers over you like a hawk.
Yelling at the ref and your opponent or whoever hurt you.
His yelling gives you a headache.
Eventually, he gets fed up waiting for a medic to come out.
So, he helps you, swinging your arm around him. And helping you up the ramp towards the medics’ room.
Roddy isn’t exactly thrilled when they come last minute.
However, if its an injury he can’t move you from then he gets impatient. Then relieved.
He still hovers over you like a hawk when they check you out.
Reassuring you. Holding your hand. Telling you that the superstar who hurt you will pay.
You are sure his blood pressure is up.
If its an ambulance ride, or you are knocked unconscious. Roddy will be by your side.
Though he is by your side with whatever injury you sustain.
Roddy will baby you a little bit too much.
Helping you out. Giving you pain medication, massages and so on.
Though that doesn’t stop his ranting. Even if the injury was your fault.
“Well, I mean It was my fault.” You mumbled.
“That’s not the point, y/n.” Roddy would say, before going into a tirade. Which you get a headache from.
Roman Reigns;
Roman was a lot of anger towards the superstar who hurt you. especially, if it is a male superstar. He won’t hesitate to berate them and degrade them. Especially, the refs if it was a match you were in and got injured.
He will also, feel a lot of worries. He doesn’t like seeing his baby girl all hurt.
Roman watches the medics like a hawk. If they hurt, you then he will say “Careful.”
Roman isn’t really satisfied with the medics results, he goes to the best doctor in the town.
After a more proper test, Roman is satisfied, enough to take you home/ or to the hotel (whichever one)
Roman will then proceed to baby you.
Giving you massages, giving you meds/water if you need them, getting you food and water.
He treats you like a queen.
Sasha Banks;
Sasha berates whoever hurt you. especially if it is Bayley. She gets right into their faces.
Sasha won't hold back on shoving them and punching them.
If it is your own doing, then she will tell you, “You are going to be okay.”
She will then go over to you. Checking on you while calling a medic.
Sasha will be by your side through the entire process. Comforting you. While grumbling to herself.
Helping you take your stuff to the car. Driving you home.
She will then take care of you. Making sure you are okay.
If it’s a serious injury that you have to recover from for weeks, she will comfort you, hugging you tightly.
Seth Rollins;
He worries about you when you get injured. Especially, when it is a serious injury.
Seth will take revenge by attacking them. Especially with a kendo stick. Or a tirade.
He will then watch the medics tend to you. making sure they didn’t miss anything.
He does take you to another doctor to get a second opinion though.
Treating you like a queen.
Taking your stuff out to the car. Helping you to the car. Driving you.
Giving you massages. A lot of kissing.
He will also, attend to your every need.
Stephanie McMahon;
Stephanie is shocked and worried.
Stephanie will make sure all the medics help you out.
She will be by your side. Comforting you. While telling you encouraging words.
Stephanie will get a lot of doctor opinions. You get the second opinion, but after the fourth one, it got a little bit too much.
She will take you to the best doctor.
Steph will then feel mad at the superstar who hurt you. scheming to suspend them.
Which is then you calm her down, “Accidents happen in the wrestling industry. The important thing is I’m alive.”
Steph kind of calms down, but she still is mad. If it is you who caused the injury, then she will tell you to be more careful.
Stephanie mothers you a bit too much, when the both of you go home.
She helps you to the car. Helps you get in.
Helps you out. Helps you to the door, helps you sit or lay down.
She then proceeds to take care of you. getting you food and water. Pain meds.
Even if it isn’t a serious injury, she coddles you.
a lot of kisses to the top of your head. Forehead, lips, neck, shoulders.
Tegan Nox;
She is devo. She knows what you are going through, and how you feel. Also, what’s running through your mindset.
She will support and comfort you.
Reassuring you that she will never leave your side. And she doesn’t.
She will then take care of you. making sure your needs are taking care of.
She will also, help you with recover if you have to have recovery.
The Miz;
Miz is annoyed and worried for you.
He threatens to give the person that hurts you a lawsuit. Which makes you give him a displeasure look.
Miz will be by your side. Nodding at whatever the medics say.
He will then help you to the car. Carrying your bags, helping you in.
Driving you back home. Where he can take care of you.
He will also, rant as well.
Triple H;
He is worried and angry.
Like Steph Hunter sends you to a doctor outside of wwe.
Making sure you in the best care of hands.
He never leaves your side.
Always comforting you. Side hugging you or hugging you.
Running his hand up and down your back or arm.
When both of you get the results. He makes sure you have options if there are any.
He will then take you back home. Helping you into the car. Driving back home at a slow pace.
He will then help you out, and into the house. All at a slow pace.
Hunter will then look after you. tending to your every need. A lot of hugging and kissing. As well as massages.
He still feels anger to whoever hurt you, but he pushes that down, and focus all of his attention onto you.
Zelina Vega;
She is angry.
She will shout at the superstar who hurt you and the ref or anyone around whoever you got injured.
She will make sure you get checked out. Eyeing the medic suspiciously.
Once they examine you, she takes you home. Bringing your stuff to the car, and helping you in.
She will baby you. Giving you water and food when you need it. As well as pain meds. Kissing you occasionally. And cuddling you.

Best NXT Matches of 2020 20-16

Johnny Gargano vs Leon Ruff vs Damian Priest - North American Title - Takeover War Games
Gargano tried to use lil Leon Ruff as fodder so he successfully defend a title for the first time in his career, but lil Leon Ruff upset him and won the NA title in his very first match. Priest got involved in their rematch to fuck with Johnny and before we know it, we have a triple threat. Johnny and Priest want the belt back and Ruff wants his respect.
Johnny shows his experience early, superkicking Priest out of the ring and trying to catch Leon with flash pins. Priest eventually makes his way back in and shows off his power. I love Priest’s interactions with Ruff because he really views him as a kid and doesn’t want to hurt him, but Ruff wants to be viewed as a legit competitor, so he brings the beast out of Priest (LOL). That beast tosses Ruff with a Razor’s Edge through the plexiglass barricade and Ruff is taken to the back to put his body back together. Priest and Gargano have a really good back and forth until Ruff makes his comeback with high flying. There’s a great spot where Priest is tied up in the ropes and Gargano puts Ruff in Gargano Escape right in front of him. A bunch of Gargano’s ghostface buddies interfere and Priest does two crazy sentons to dispatch them all, but he gets clocked by one that has a steel pipe. With priest dispatched, Gargano superkicks Ruff and hits the Final Beat DDT to win his third North American title. Really fun action and some great character interactions. The North American Title is 5 for 5 on Takeovers this year.

Pete Dunne vs Kyle O’Reilly - Ladder Match for War Games Advantage - November 25
Is there a such thing as a ladder match sprint? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ladder match worked at such a fast pace, because stipulation matches are usually treated like epics with a lot of time. Seeing Pete Dunne so svelte is still jarring to me, but I’m happy to say it has no effect on his wrestling ability and he’s still fantastic. They both use the ladder to assist them in submission attempts, which is great psychology. They’re still sticking to their formulas, just incorporating a ladder. Dunne wraps Kyle’s arm around the ladder while he bends his fingers and then he puts the ladder leg on top of Kyle’s hand while he climbs. Kyle gives Pete dragon screws through the ladder rungs. They have some crazy ladder bumps, like Dunne powerbombing Kyle onto a ladder and Dunne suplexing them both through a bridged ladder. They still stick to their bread and butter of strikes and limb torture and they have a fun spot where they tug of war pull each other into the ladder. Dunne gives Kyle a Bitter End on the barricade then jets in the ring and that feels like the true ending, but Kyle is still alive and stops it. Thats the only time that their fast pace works against them because that would’ve been a great finish and Kyle’s no-sell hurt some drama. Kyle pushes Dunne onto a ladder, but A MYSTERY MAN knocks Kyle off the ladder and Pete is able to give The Brand the win. They incorporated their styles really creatively with the ladder and worked a blistering pace.

Io Shirai vs Candice Lerae - Tables Ladders and Scares Match - Women’s Title - Halloween Havoc
Halloween Havoc makes it return to the wrestling world after 20 years of dormancy. This was the deserved main event and its a great match that continues the trend of Io’s TV matches being better than her Takeover matches. They worked their Takeover 31 match to greatness, but it was structurally limited. Here, they have more fun and its a better match. Candie finds a bag filled with a bunch of chopped up limbs that freak her out. So Io grabs the body parts and beats her with him lmao. That’s a funny part, but its a pretty brutal match. They wack each other with chairs, Io misses a moonsault and lands on a gang of chairs, and Candice delivers a neckbreaker through double tables. The ending involves the mysterious Ghostface character (very disappointing reveal) that helped Johnny Gargano earlier that night and begins the genesis of the Candice vs Shotzi Blackheart feud. Great fun match.

Adam Cole vs Tommaso Ciampa - NXT Title - Takeover Portland
This is the match that kinda “exposed” the “formula” of NXT main events being structured a relentlessly epic and dramatic to the point of overkill. Ciampa takes a Panama Sunrise on the floor that realistically should end the match especially considering Ciampa just returned from a neck injury that had him out for about six month. But not only does this not end the match, Ciampa proceeds to kick out of numerous finishers, fight off the Undisputed Era, and generally be a seemingly indestructible badass. Its overkill to the highest level, it broke my suspension of disbelief and yet, I still think its a great match. Ciampa has a great performance and the fans are crazy behind him, which is outrageous considering he was the most sinister heel in NXT’s history just two years earlier. It’s intense as hell and even though they broke reality, I still was super into the drama down the stretch. We’ve seen four Takeovers since this one and none of the main events have attempted to replicate this kind of grandiose type of match. Your mileage may vary.

Imperium vs Undisputed Era - Worlds Collide
For a card as good as Worlds Collide, it feels super forgotten because it was instantly overshadowed by the Royal Rumble and Takeover Portland, then the world descended into….the world we have right now. This main event was a collision between two dominant factions that can all wrestle like hell. Things start a little plain which is kind of a downside of having a bunch of white dudes who are all variants on being efficient good wrestlers (outside of Walter). A stiff kick from Bobby Fish legitimately KOs Alexander Wolfe and I hate to sound insensitive, but….its exactly what the match needed. Wolfe’s KO makes it a handicap match and it becomes a really interesting dynamic where The UE assume the true heel role and it makes a Walter hot tag the most anticipated part of the match. That hot tag lives up to the expectation I had and seeing him mow through the UE is crazy entertaining. The sequence between O’Reilly and Walter is awesome and ends with a Walter German suplexing Kyle AND Roderick Strong. And as awesome as Walter is, Roderick Strong might be the MVP of this match. He has an exhilarating chopfest with Walter and down the stretch he Olympic Slams Walter though an announce table. The whole match gets more creative and crazier down the stretch. In the end, Walter kills Bobby Fish with a powerbomb and Imperium gets the victory in this great main event.

It hurt like hell because Jesse thought he was head over heels in love with Rose Haven. Thought she was his forever girl but after taking a step back, he realised that wasn’t really true and that was okay.
So how did this sugary sweet soul end up taking on the Upper East Side’s most formidable gossip blog? Easy. He watched Gossip Girl’s posts hurt the people he loved one too many times. Specifically, he watched it make his friend turned big, gooey crush turned girlfriend, Sophia Vandervort, cry. That was the last straw and why shouldn’t he step up and take her on? Why the hell not? Jesse managed to use his charm, his gift for a rousing speech and a few influential allies (namely Blair Waldorf) to get a team together. They came up with a plan, they set a trap. After six months of trials and torment, they did it. Now, they might not have found out who Gossip Girl was but they did find her laptop. All evidence self-destructed before further investigation could be made but the next day when there were no posts? It felt like a victory. Jesse has put the whole thing behind him now. The good guys won and that’s that. After all, he always liked a happy ending.
What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?
Jesse and his brother Jason’s estranged father sought him out and wanted to make amends. There was a big, charming speech but in the moment, Jesse turned him away and told him not to come back. He hasn’t told anyone about it, especially not his mom and brother.

* / BIO: There was no option for Rhys on the night of his birth, he was destined for GREATNESS. Born to Salvatore Cromwell, a high ranking official in the Directorate of Operations of the CIA, and his wife Natalia on a chilly October night ─ the night before Halloween as a matter of fact ─ both saw his arrival as the best thing to happen to their seemingly perfect family. In a sense. And so he had to be the best.
He went to the best schools, only associated with the best families, the best parties and clothes and girlfriends, they were only the best of the best. Growing up, he didn’t recognize the pressure put on him was insurmountable. The lifestyle he lived didn’t expose him to those who had other options and chose their own path. He grew up with kids whose lives were planned out the second they were born. Just like him. Rhys assumed they were all the same. All their mothers were knocking back martinis with the egg white omelet they had for breakfast every morning, didn’t they? And when their dad came home after months of being away and says he was passed up for promotion again, he grabbed their arm so tight that sometimes it felt like it was gonna snap, right? His mother’s tears were normal. Getting hit with a belt any time he scored lower than expected on tests were normal. So why didn’t it feel normal?
Rhys’ home life was the one element he couldn’t control. But his social life he could. At school, he was a legend. With a family name like Cromwell, notorious to have spawned politicians and businessmen and entrepreneurs over the past couple of centuries, all great in their own right, Rhys was known. And he liked it. He had the perfect life at the spy school his father enrolled him in. With a group of friends as close-knit as they could be in a world driven by infamy and lies and a girlfriend he loved more than life itself, Rhys couldn’t imagine anything better. Until it wasn’t.
Rhys loved his girlfriend Rose Park. He knew he did because he treated her the way his father should’ve treated his mother. Their relationship wasn’t perfect, no relationship was, but they always found their way back to one another. For Rhys, she was a shining beacon of light and love and hope that one day, life would be better. That was until he found polaroids of Rose kissing their mutual best friend, Josephine. He was stunned. For a week he avoided her and their friends like the plague. What he felt wasn’t anger or rage, he didn’t turn spiteful, he was just...heartbroken. In the end, all he wanted was Rose’s happiness. While he hoped this was a need for sexual exploration, he knew that if Rose wanted to be with someone else that he would still support her. Because he loved her. And living a life with her in it as his friend was better than one without her at all. He was going to tell her this.
Until she was murdered.
Her death happening because her personal bodyguard, Josephine’s father, left her unprotected to tend to Jo’s sickness, sent him into a spiraling downfall. When his mother left a few weeks later, it only added to his growing pain. Nothing made sense. Not how his mother could just leave, no note, no anything. Not how his father barely flinched when he noticed all of her stuff gone. Not how the world seemed to keep on spinning even though Rose was gone. And especially, not how Josephine got to keep on with her life like nothing had changed. The pain he felt only escalated day by day, echoed on by the empty townhouse he returned to every day and the quiet dinners spent with housekeepers while his dad was away. He needed an outlet. And a target along with it.
His senior year, Rhys directed the anger he felt on the girl who took everything from him. Every spiteful word thrown at her, the influence he inspired on the rest of the student body to do the same, it all helped the throbbing ache that constantly permeated his body. When school was over for the day, he turned to recreational forms of comfort that went beyond his usual party favors. How he was able to graduate top of the class is still something that escapes him to this day. But his father knew of his antics and decided that his son would not go to college and only drown further in his sorrows.
In the CIA it’s called “The Lakehouse”. A remote hideout meant to kick into shape covert specialists by training them in all things brutality. Rhys was only there for two years, off the record, where he excelled in weapons and hand-to-hand combat while his pain was to be used as a driving force. There, his father finally sculpted him into the “perfect” son he always wanted: ruthless, cunning, heartless. It was here that Rhys realized that his father never cared about a family, but rather a legacy. Rhys was his breathing legacy, and he’d continue to be so once enrolled at Gallagher.
Waiting for admittance to Gallagher over the summer left him curious. His skills were now more finely honed, so he actively began to seek out his mother’s whereabouts. He quickly realized that it would be difficult, as the name he knew her by was not real. Her social security, passport, ID, even family photos, were all fake. Part of him wasn’t shocked, as marrying someone who was a complete fraud just for appearance's sake sounds like some his father would do, but in the end, it only left him with more questions. Who was she? Where did she go? Why did she leave?
Rhys hopes to find these answers now that he’s attending one of the top spy universities in the world. Surely, they’ll be able to help him find answers. Otherwise, he’ll take them for himself if he has to. On the plus side, if things ever turn out worse than he imagined and the pain returns tenfold, at least he has little Josephine here with him to keep him company. Two years later, she’s just as small, just as fragile. And Rhys always did enjoy breaking things.
* / PERSONALITY: He’s the stereotypical pretty boy with a side of trauma. Cocky. Sweet talker. Renowned partier. Excels in everything he puts his mind to, for what he’d like to think is for himself, but deep down it’s for the recognition and approval from his father. Though his father tried to mold him into something unfeeling, like a brutal machine, it’s just not in his nature. Rhys feels. A lot. That’s why he’s still hurting over the death of a girl he loved over three years ago. Maybe it’s because it was the only healthy relationship he had in his life, and one of the only events he’s held no control over. A stickler for how he likes things, he’s very particular about who he interacts with. At Gallagher, he will be no different. He’s the best, and he needs to be surrounded by only the best.

Down the Rabbit Hole: Jack Chick
Starting in 1971, a devastating icon began to appear all across America. Although it was only a comic, it served to solidify traditional fundamentalist beliefs.and contributing to much of the cultural sentiments that some Christians, especially those living in the South, tend to hold now.
Jack Chick, the author of these comics, produce them with a wide variety of topics, ranging from gentle retellings of Bible stories for children to blatantly Catholiphobic, Islamophobic, and homophobic propaganda derived mostly from suspicion and Bible verses taken largely out of context.
By the time he died at the age of 92 in 2016, he had sold 400 million comics, and by now, his company has distributed over 1 billion of these all across the United States. It has spawned an entire style of pamphlet writing, as well has spawned a number of viral Youtube readings of his pamphlets, often with a sickening number if likes. This is the story of the most prolific American theologian author we have seen so far.
This is the story of Jack Chick.
Chapter 1: Chick’s Pre-Comic Days
Jack Chick was born on April 13, 1924, in a neighborhood called Boyle Heights in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, he was not born or raised in any faith.
Yet despite his lack of religion in childhood, his family was largely traditional, living in a typical suburban house. His mother and father were devoted to each other, and his father was known to others as a tirelessly hard worker.
However, any psychological harms Chick may have contracted may have began here. His mother and father were distant from him, preferring to pay attention to his younger sister, Doris. Chick often reported to his coworkers that while his dad only spoke to him about work and hobbies, his mother rarely spoke to him at all. This could start Chick’s hatred for everyone around him and everyone who didn’t share his beliefs.
He very quickly developed an ability to draw, spending most of his time making comics of his own by the time he was in school. He quickly became relentlessly interested in the craft, having to repeat first grade because of the time he spent drawing airplanes in class instead of paying attention.
When he was 18, he decided to enter into World War II in 1942. He spent the next three years in the Army, where he was no doubt subjected to the polarization of war, which may have contributed even further to his psychological mentality of “us vs. them.” Until 1945, he spent his days fighting in a single division, staying in countries such as New Guinea, Australia, the Philippines, and Japan. He applied to another division once, but was rejected. However, that seemed to be a lucky stroke on his part, as every single member of the division he wanted to join was killed, whereas he never so much as saw one person fire a gun at another person.
He was finally dispatched on January 28, 1946.
On March 22, 1948, Chick married Lois Lynn Priddle, where he started 50-year long marriage as devoted as his parents’. That night, a radio program on his honeymoon would change the course of his life forever.
Priddle’s mother insisted that he listen with her to a program called Charles E. Fuller’s Old-Fashioned Revival. In this program, he discovered Christianity and became converted to evangelicalism. He would never deviate from this path.
Shortly afterwards, Chick decided to use his artistic talent professionally. Putting off having children because of a slim salary, he worked from 1953 to 1960 advertising for Aerojet-Global Corporation, which created rocket engines and assisted in the Space Race. It was here that his hatred, along with America’s collective hatred, of communism began to skyrocket.
In 1961, Chick’s professional and psychological agenda began to change even further. While having a work break one day, he began reading a book called “Power from on High”, which solidified his suspicions that hypocrisy was destroying the evangelical church. A new resolution began to develop in him to convert others and, for the first time, he had the idea to unite his extreme ideas and his artistic talent.
Chapter 2: The Early Days
It started as a hobby with a few sketches, which started off as corny, yet gentle by modern standards. He ended up making a book of his own called “Why No Revival?”, which critiqued the church. For 800 dollars that he borrowed from the credit union, he published it.
Later, after being moved to tears after being under the suspicion that teenagers who were performing rebellious acts on the road he was driving down were condemning themselves to Hell, he produced a second tract called “A Demon’s Nightmare.”
He brought both of his comics to his boss named George Otis, a fellow Christian, asking him to help him publish it. Before “Why No Revival?” was read by Otis, Otis’ secretary read it and called Chick into his office, telling him that he was a “man of God” and that he was more than happy to fund his project. In addition, he went to meetings hosted by the Christian Businessmens’ Connection, asking its members for help and often getting it.
However, after this success, Chick’s next move was both disturbing and hypocritical compared to what he had done before. Bob Hammond, the broadcaster for The Voice of China and Asia, a missionary organization devoted to spreading Christianity in that area, called Chick and told him that millions of people in China had been brought to Communism through short pamphlets. While Hammond told Chick this as a distress call of sorts, Chick got the idea to create short pamphlets of his own to win people to Christianity. By doing so, he used the tactic used by the same people he’d hated for decades and that he would continue to hate until the end of his life.
Chapter 3: The Fire Spreads
After this realization, Chick released his most infamous track entitled, “This Is Your Life!”. In the comic, a man dies, is taken to Heaven, realizes all of his actions had been broadcasted and replayed to him, and watches in horror as God, as the form of a faceless, mannequin-looking figure on a throne, condemns him to Hell. For a test audience, Chick went to his local jail and distributed the pamphlet to eleven non-Christian inmates, upon which nine inmates reportedly converted to Christianity. Bolstered by this successful test, he published it, and it very quickly became popular. To this day, it is still Chick’s most popular track, and it has been translated to over 100 languages so far and has spawned dozens of parodies, including one on Youtube published shortly after Chick’s death featuring him being faced by God at the end of his own life and then being sent to Hell after God exposes his Catholiphobic, homophobic, Islamophobic, and racist tracts.
After “This Was Your Life”, Chick received the income necessary to support his family and to make his comic-drawing a full-time career. He would continue this career until 2016, creating over 200 tracts in his lifetime. Despite his overwhelming success, Chick still faced some justifiable backlash after bookstores realized the intolerant and sometimes violent nature of his comics. Still, other bookstores were even more traditional than Chick was, thinking of expressing fundamentalist Christian ideas in comic form as “sacreligious”.
As the years went by, an important factor in the development of the Southern United States, and fundamentalism as a whole, began with the next generation. Children, starting with Baby Boomers, were growing up reading Chick Tracts in their homes, in schools, in public places, and were solidified with these ideas. In fact, there are numerous testimonies online of childhoods littered with Chick Tracts. One woman from California named Amy remembers holding Chick Tracts and attempting to read them before she was old enough to read, and then reading them as soon as she learned how to. Starting in junior high, she would start distributing these tracts to her friends and all around the school. Another man named Don discovered his first Chick Tract in seventh grade, and now, in his thirties, he still continues to distribute Chick Tracts. Furthermore, a parent named Tawni reads Chick Tracts to her seven-year-old son Steven in lieu of bedtime stories each night. While Bible stories were being spread, intolerant ideas were also spread.
However, his comics did have some merit. They were praised for presenting complex ideas in a simple format anyone could understand, and inspired other cartoonists to draw in the same format.
Chapter 4: Chick’s Death and the Information Overload
Surprisingly, Chick wasn’t met with much backlash until after his death in October 23, 2016, when he died at the age of 92 in his sleep. Until now, Chick’s tracts hadn’t been met with much curiosity other than theologically, and while Chick had faced backlash since 1989, most of it was from non-Christians. However, interest in Chick piqued after his death, where some Christians started to critique his work. Catholic Answers voiced in that Chick was “savagely anti-Catholic”. After his death, heaps of information began to leak to the public, whether they were given by Chick Publications or discovered via the readers.
Some of this information told of a priest named Alberto Rivera, a notorious anti-Catholic from Spain. Claiming to be a Jesuit priest before suddenly becoming a fundamentalist Protestant, he was one of Chick’s confidants and created dozens of conspiracy theories about the Vatican and the Catholic Church in general. These ideas took ahold of Chick. Much of Chick’s tracts revealed the nature of Rivera’s conspiracy theories, which were mostly single Bible verses taken out of context, which is a widely-used tactic for reinforcing or degrading a stance on an issue. When Rivera was a child, he was taken into a seminary at the age of seven after his mother died, Rivera claiming that his mother saw “ugly creatures” just before her death, her last words expressing fear of a “Christless future” for herself. He claimed to have been brought up as a Catholic apologetic and claimed to have been sent out to destroy various Protestant churches. With all his claims, however, there was one fact that was certain: in 1965 in an ecumenical council in Guatemala, he denounced the Catholic Church in front of an audience of 50,000 people.
After this denunciation, the claims started again, beginning with that he was shortly sent to a “top-secret” psychiatric hospital that attempted to brainwash him into becoming Catholic again, claiming to be tortured until he nearly died. While he claims to have been put into an iron lung because of the abuse he claimed to have suffered, he shows no signs of damage now, and when Chick asked why, Rivera replied that Jesus miraculously healed him. At the end of it all, he claimed that a fellow Jesuit freed him and gave him a passport so that he could flee from Spain and emigrate to England. While in England, he claimed to have save his sister Maria from a convent where she was dying for an unspecified reason, and he claimed that both of them fled to the United States, moving to El Paso, Texas. However, further research into his life by magazine Cornerstone paints a very different picture of his life.
According to Cornerstone, Rivera had a long history of “legal financial entanglements”, including not paying off his credit card loans, fraud, credit card theft, and writing multiple bad checks, leading him to be wanted by the Spanish police force. This, according to Cornerstone, was the reason he fled into the United States. While Cornerstone discovered that Rivera’d had two arrest attempts, one in New Jersey and one in Florida, Rivera, in a 1967 investigation, claimed that no such thing happened. While he claimed that the only financially extraordinary thing he’d done was send money to a colleague back in Spain, the colleague reported that he’d never received any money, nor knew of any plans for Rivera to send him any.
During this time, Cornerstone also observed some contradictions in his religious claims. In its investigation, they found that in 1964, he claimed he left the Catholic Church in 1952, while later, he claimed he left in 1967. Furthermore, while he said that he was taken to the top-secret hospital in 1965 and was held there for three months, he claimed his colleague had released him in 1967. They also observed that despite his strongly anti-Catholic beliefs, he was supporting a Spanish Catholic magazine.
Cornerstone’s most prominent discovery, however, was discovering Rivera’s papers claiming he was a Jesuit priest, which turned out to be fraudulent. They also discovered that Maria never lived in a convent.
Cornerstone also discovered that Rivera claimed he had three degrees: a doctorate in theology, a doctorate in medicine, and a doctorate in psychology, all of which also claimed to be untrue, as no such proof was found. In addition, from the time Rivera entered into college until the time he fled to the United States, Cornerstone calculated that it would have been impossible to have enough time for him to attain all three degrees.
For years, Rivera claimed that he had a wife, which he met in Costa Rica. While Cornerstone’s investigations found that Rivera was in a relationship with a woman from that country in the 1950’s, they were never legally married.
In the investigation, the woman’s name was found: Carmen Lydia Torres. Carmen and Rivera had a child together named Juan in 1967-1968, whom Rivera never mentioned, who sadly died when he was only a year old. On an even more tragic note, one of Rivera’s colleagues in the United States, Reverend Edson Lewis, stated that Rivera abused both Carmen and Juan, which may have led to Juan’s early death. However, Carmen and Rivera had another child, also named Alberto. Cornerstone stated that the whereabouts of where Alberto was at the time of the investigation were “difficult to determine”, but a welfare manager in Tennessee did come forward and say that Alberto was placed in a foster home, leading evidence that he was abused along with Carmen and Juan.
Cornerstone found that Juan and Alberto were born at the same time that Rivera claimed to be a celibate Jesuit priest in Spain.
Carmen and Rivera had one more child, named Luis. Reverend Abrego, Rivera’s former friend and roomate while Rivera was living in Spain, said that he was in touch with Luis and found that Luis was also mistreated. Luis’ fate is unknown, but when the couple moved from Florida to Seattle, Luis wasn’t with them, indicating that he may have been taken in by Reverend Abrego, taken to a foster home like his brother, abandoned, or even murdered.
In 1977 in the investigation, Rivera divorced Carmen and married Nury Frias, a woman from the Dominican Republic.
In 1987, Cornerstone presented this entire investigation to Jack Chick, who then defended Rivera by claiming he was “the most godly person he knew” and that he knew Rivera’s story was true because “he prayed about it”. Furthermore, Chick said he expected to be murdered by Jesuits, only to die 30 years later in his sleep.
Cornerstone then presented the investigation to Rivera himself, whose only comment was his “only wrongdoings before 1967 were made because the Jesuits forced me to do them, and any wrongdoings after were lies told by the Jesuits.”
To conclude this presentation, Cornerstone said in its investigation that “because of Chick, sadly, many Protestants still hold the same view of Catholics that whites held of blacks in the early 20th century.”
Chapter 5: Chick’s Impression on the American South
Chick’s influence didn’t stop when he died, and a large amount of influence can be seen today. While fundamentalist ideas actually began in the 20th century, Chick’s comics solidified fundamentalist ideas. Because of the isolated, rural nature of many places in the American South, the ideas that circulated there stayed there, and any opposition or attempts of change were either ridiculed or never reached these places at all.
One of the prime examples of Chick’s effect on not only the American South, but of the entire country is a video on Youtube entitled “Catholic Man Dies and Finds Out by Jesus Christ that Catholicism Leads Straight to Hell for All Eternity”, featuring one of Chick’s tracts, has reached 1,250,251 views and a like-to-dislike ratio of 3.33:1, making it 5,800 dislikes and 18,000 likes. The comments section, which has 3,693 comments so far, has the top comments revealing people who affirmed the tract.
One article published by the Smithsonian states that Jack Chick was “the outspoken crusader of fundamentalist Christianity.” Another article, published by the Daily Beast, states that Jack Chick was “the Doctor Seuss of hate lit.”
To conclude this presentation, Cornerstone said in its investigation that “because of Chick, sadly, many Protestants still hold the same view of Catholics that whites held of blacks in the early 20th century.”
