Behold!! I finally finished this lil guy hand-sewn from parts of my old jacket, reclaimed felt and upholstery scraps. It feels really cool to make something from “trash”. I definitely leveled up my sewing skills bringing him to life too!

So, I've been working on a Mephisto doll. His stupid clown outfit has been an absolute challenge, but I've managed!! I still have to do his hat and cape, but I wanted to post him so far.

I know a gentleman never shows his tail...but I could resist making him one (a wire posable one, at that!!!) His curl thingy is also wire-supported, and his tailcoat is silk lined.

Here he is next to my Aoba doll, too :)

｡⋆·₊˚⋆·₊˚Moonbeam Moss-Tongue the Whimsical Wizard Frog!!! ˚₊·⋆˚₊·⋆｡(Of course his name has to be a bit silly and famboyant, he’s a wizard after all <|:-])

When I got the sparkly green fabric, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to make. I used a scrap of moss-textured fabric for the tongue and black felt for the hat. I hand-embroidered the moon and stars with light grey thread, then added some emerald green moon and star-shaped gems along the rim. 

I’ve got a couple of the moon gems left, so I’ll probably use them later to make his staff, once I find the perfect stick.·₊˚☽ O ☾˚₊·.

I’m super happy with how he turned out! I’ve always loved wizards and their exaggerated, chaotic, magical style, so I’m glad to now have a wizard-themed froggy added to my collection.·₊˚<|:^D.·₊˚₊·.<|:3 ˚₊·.
