Divine Brands
Inspiration from @bonefall's honor titles. However, I'm bringing my own twist.
Divine Brands are names given to cats for incredible feats or surviving a situation that should've killed. Most often the latter.
These range from be named by the gods to after a guild's symbol to the event itself.
It's an honor to receive such a name. To receive one is to say you are a demi-god among the mortals. That the gods have given a piece of their power to these cats.
That by definition: you are best of the bunch and you have earned all that has.
Some examples are:
Rosettetalon
Sabersong
Snowdroptuft
Piercingsun
Morningroar
To reject a chance at a divine brand is allowed however it is seen as rejecting the gods blessing and many cats can't fathom why a cat would do such a thing.
Like asking for a curse or to be shamed.

So what are the ranks and their meaning in the colonies/guild (sorry I forgot what you called them I just know you don’t call them clans)
Also asking for advice do you think I should make up some ocs? I’m already adding some bloodclan cats in the clans since I doing away bloodclan and some of the cats from warriorClan is going to be born in later arcs..but maybe I should make some ocs to keep the bloodline fresh
(Edited again with changes)
Sorry this took so long.
For the second question, I say add as many as you want or feel you can write. I’ve been adding some ocs for gene pool reasons and some for my own enjoyment of hypokits.
We need to keep these bloodlines fresh as we possibly can since we know the erins did absolutely fuck all. Just make sure not to add to many but enough to help strength the gene pool.
They are The Guilds or The Startouched Guild Alliance, though most cats tend to forget the ALLIANCE part.
Universal roles:
Commander/Warden/Captain/Chief: the leaders of the guilds, one of the highest ranks one can achieve. They are granted up to nine lives from the stars and bare either a star or moon somewhere on their body.
Monarchs: these cats are the structure of calmness for the nursery. They are in charge of keeping track of bloodlines. They deem who and who isn’t welcome in the nursery.
Lieutenant/Head Advisor/Second/Assistant: the second in command of their guilds. Part of the highest ranks.
Medic/Cleric/Mender/Warlock/Witch: The healers of the guilds. They are tasked with the ways of healing.
Seers: aside from The Rushing Breeze, these are a rare rank in the other guilds. Typically also known as prophets. These cats have a strong connection to the stars, some say they are half ghost.
Caretakers/Nurses: these cats are charged with caring for the guilds young. Often tasked with a litter in their care.
Messengers: cats who deliver messages to other guilds at a moment’s notice.
Teachers/Drill Sergeants: cats who oversee the training process and are tasked to find compatible mentors for the young cats.
Soldiers/Rangers: cats who don’t specialize in a specific field of career. The general population of a guild.
Craftclaws/Smithstones: the crafty cats of the guilds. Whether smelting with stone or crafting with pelts, they are a valued rank for their skill with their claws on something other than fighting.
Seniors/Veterans: retired cats who have earned their rest.
Specific guild roles:
The Blazing Forest
Calvary: the guilds most skilled fighters. Every cat is trained in fighting but these cats are trained to grow past that and display the best of skills of their guild.
General: the ‘commander’ of sorts of the calvary. The cat who is tasked with choosing the next guild defenders.
Hunters: cats trained specially in the art of the hunt.
Battle Medic: a duel rank of medic and soldier. Best of both worlds some could say.
Cats of The Plaguing Darkness
Builders: cats who work on the camp as a whole. Reinforcing walls and the territory itself. Helping the witch/warlock builds gardens or bogs for herbs as well.
Spies: the guild’s most deadliest cats. Trained in silence and gathering information from the other guilds.
Corvid: the speakers of the birds. They are taught bird’s tongue and are tasked with keeping the balance between the birds and the cats.
Cats of The Rushing Breeze
Moor-runners: the hunt on the surface of the territory. Flushing rabbits for the guild to eat and checking the territory in a basic sense.
Tunnelers: cats who work in the underground. They create tunnels for escape ways and for hunting.
Guards: cats who range the outer ways of the territory. Cats who’ll see when you pass to highstones. Trained to always be ready to defend the camp.
Keepers: cats who learn the languages of other animals such as foxes and badgers and work with them. They keep track of all sorts of traditions and phrases. They also help with trading with outside groups.
Advisors: Cats who are most likely descendants of Windstar. Next in line to be head advisor. They help organize patrols and help the warden make decisions alongside the head advisor.
Cats of The Cold River
Instructors: unlike teachers, these cats oversee a specific skills such as fighting and diving. They watch over for that specific rank and help other cats train it to the fullest.
Divers: cats who dive below the surface of the river to collect seaweed and deeper prey such as crawfish.
Watchers: cats who look for signs of flooding and any other dangers in the waters. Typically taken by cats who prefer solitude

So I was looking around the black citadel today and I came across an NPC in the Great Imperial Smelter with some... Interesting dialogue

So yeah, the charr have discovered mercury, AND THEY'RE JUST THROWING IT IN THE BIG OPEN AIR SMELTER, so mercury vapours can just spread out across the city and poison everyone equally I guess.
And did you know one of the symptoms of mercury poisoning are mood swings as well as irritability? Becasuse that may explain some things about the charr...

Commander Henri
Heehee she's my main,,, a harbinger gremlin
Story !
Henri was a necromancer, alchemist and a student in the college of Dynamics, later becoming an assistant in a lab. She was as snooty and snobby as any other Asura (but even more brilliant, she says), especially passive aggressive and always reminding everyone of her genius. She would always swear up and down that she'd become the boss of everyone in that lab soon.
However, on one unfortunate day, there was an 'accident' at the lab. Some were killed, the rest were injured and escaped. Henri managed to escape as well, only to realize that her entire left arm was missing. It was a long recovery, more mentally than physically. Henri was left-handed and, even as a chaotic Dynamics student, never once anticipated that her pristine lab would end up as nothing but rubble, let alone take her dominant arm with it. Because of this, she was now considered useless, and couldn't get any work anywhere at all.
That 'accident' really bothered her. She was a very diligent and meticulous lab worker and kept things in tip-top shape, how could there be any accident at all? And she (generously) assumed all of the other Asura there were competent. Through some obsessive investigation on her own, and not much to her surprise, the Inquest had targeted the lab. Henri went back to the ruins of that lab and searched for any Inquest hideouts nearby.
Once she found it, she trashed the entire place with her necrotic minions and deadly elixirs. She tore off the arm of a golem, and tuned it into a prosthetic arm. Even if it was a crappy substitute, it still was better than nothing. It made her feel a little better, but she hides the arm by wearing a long sleeve and a full glove. Of course, she trained herself to do things with her other arm. Even while having a prosthetic, there are endless scenarios that could end horribly with it.
Losing her arm gave her a new perspective of things, realizing how quick Asuran society discards you for any little reason, your fault or not. Her Asuran arrogance fizzled out mildly, and she stopped using terms like 'Bookah'. She has a new boundless hatred for the Inquest, and laughs in the face of chaos and danger. She decided to go off on her own, distancing from Rata Sum. That made her perceived as a 'weirdo' and outsider, now that she finds more comfort being with the other races and other outcasted Asura.
With the threat of the Elder Dragons becoming more prominent every day, Henri became a commander in the Pact and later on joins Dragon's Watch even before its creation.

CARBON LORE: Society and Diggers
Carbon society is distinguished by the large number of islands on which they reside. As a result, a variety of cultures emerge, with the ruins of the previous society serving as a foundation for further development. The majority of these cultures differ from one another, but they all share a common concept: community. Most islands have tight-knit communities that frequently assist one another in difficult situations. They rely on others' assistance to ensure the process and, potentially, a more relaxed attitude. Because of cultural differences between the islands, there is no unified government, and the primary goal of these civilizations is to foster inter-island relations. This has resulted in a one-of-a-kind era of peace within carbon societies, akin to their halcyon days, but there are still problems that must be addressed.
Carbons use a mix of basic and ancient technology. Most of their civilization employs these ancient technologies. It also means that their power sources cannot be replicated easily, as they are not capable of creating a power source. Instead, they must locate and uncover its primary power source. Refractors are mostly found in ruins scattered throughout the planet. This type of responsibility is assigned to the Digouter, which translates as "digger."
Diggers include explorers, treasure hunters, and others. Their primary duty is to search the ancient ruins of Terra for valuable relics, technology, and refractors. They are responsible for ensuring that their civilization has enough power and resources, so they rely on their own efforts. Unfortunately, being a digger is not as easy as it appears, as there are more risks and dangers. The terra's ruins can be dangerous for a variety of reasons, including traps, hostile reaver bots, and the possibility of trickster spirits (Cyber Elves) leading diggers to their demise. As a result, many diggers require training to prepare them to deal with the dangers of the ruins. Most diggers begin their training at the age of ten, but due to their durability, they can withstand it. Diggers typically work in groups of two or more to ensure the success and survival of an expedition; those who go out alone are considered suicidal. Whoever survives as a lone digger with resources in tow is considered exceptionally skilled. Unfortunately, they are diggers who are motivated by greed and fortune and do not respect the law. They are commonly known as "air pirates."
Despite the many dangers of the job itself, many diggers choose either a sense of responsibility, adventure, or something more. In order to support diggers, an organization was formed to not only support them but also their civilization, called “The Digger’s Guild”. An interconnected organization whose main responsibility is to help islands and diggers alike. The guild is where Diggers can find different jobs to help people or support them. This leads to a unique distinction between Guild Diggers and Independent Diggers. While guild diggers are the ones that mostly stay on their main island to help the people there, dealing with difficulties, etc. The majority of the refractors they give to the guild are distributed among other diggers and islands. Meanwhile, an independent digger works alone or with their loved ones, typically traveling across Terra by airship, collecting relics and refractors to keep or trade to a nearby settlement. They frequently sign contracts to get jobs or, on occasion, accept a job from the guild to assist in a large expedition or something else.

Sabertooth Headcanons:
Sting purposefully tells stories wrong just to piss off Rufus. When Rufus corrects him, he doubles down and it drives Rufus absolutely nuts
Minerva fully convinced Yukino that holy water can kill her as a joke. Yukino won't even let Minerva walk past a church now
Whenever anyone needs Rogue's help with something, they send Frosch to ask him knowing it will increase the odds of him agreeing
Orga and Laxus don't know each other well, but if you ask Orga he will tell you they are best friends
"Hey remember when you slapped me, Yukino?" is said at least once a week, quickly followed by "Don't make me do it again" and then the sound of Sting running
Sorano and Rufus started a book club. They didn't think many people would be interested, but almost half of Sabertooth is in it
If a shadow looks suspicious, Sabertooth assumes it's Rogue. He can't tell you how many times he's walked in on guild members talking to their own shadows like lunatics

sonofabitch Joko really did know about the void.
Tumblr media
Interestingly that suggests he knew more than the astral ward and the wizards themselves since they didn't know for sure about it until the void revealed itself during EoD. I wonder where he got his info from, with how shrouded in mystery Joko's early life is, it really could have come from anywhere...
Another addition to the big 'things I hope gets visited someday' list I suppose.
