Two commissions for @akflareon! thank you for commissioning me c^^

making of:

for the first pic, the prompt was having his dragon character looking like a guardian or caretaker. doing some kind of chore or hobby, one of the examples given was making\sewing plushies

the brooms in the bg were also the clients idea, this dragon got ghots powers!

the other commission was based on a previous one by the same client! he really liked the half-dragon form I made for it, and wanted a ref for it c^^

I sugested having it include both a version that was more "his oc but a bit dragon" and one like in the past comm

though I wasn't sure on how to layout the sheet and what other details to add, one idea was a back side, but we both agreed there wasn't any details of note to justify one

but I did do sketch one for the normal form

another idea from the client was a dragonite for scale which I did do! it was silly

its good practice to not shade refs, but since it's a part I barelly take much time on, I did also do a version with some quick shadows added in

🍀The Apothecary Diaries-Maomao🍀

🍀Hey guys, it’s been awhile. This is kind of random, but I have been obsessed with this anime/manga!! I love Maomao as a character, especially her cat persona, it felt relatable for me lol( also it seems I have a type *cough* cat ears *cough*😂😂😂)

🍀What I loved about the anime were the whole mysteries, plot twists and how realistic the mc acts according to when these events are taking place. She isn’t trying to change the discrimination and the misbalance in power and basic rights between the different classes, she tried to avoid grabbing attention in order to survive but her curious nature and her wish to help people makes her fall deeper into the politics of the imperial life. I recommend to either watch the anime or the manga, it is a fun experience.

🍀I do have other ideas and I want to draw more from this anime! For now tho, my main focus will be to get something done for Nova’s birthday on 29th of April (same as my birthday so I wouldn’t forget it lol).

🍀For those of you who are wondering if I will start posting the LL comic, unfortunately that will have to wait. I have been busy irl and experienced my first proper burnout from art. Just started drawing again at the start of this month. I was getting frustrated with my art and how stuck I felt, which caused my burnout and also working for the comic felt more like a chore. So I started doing some figure drawings and drawing other characters I like or left an impression on me. I hope to come back with posting the LL comic during late summer at least, but no promises this time. My main focus is to learn and have fun with art this year, instead of following the 2024 goals I had in mind(which I failed following immediately lol).

🍀Either way, I hope you guys will still support me. I missed you and appreciate whoever is still sticking around. Thank you💕

Luxe Couture Vil 👑 when I tell you I SCREAMED when this set was released oh my GOD, everyone looks slay and that's such a win!!! As soon as I saw Vil's look on that banner, I knew what I had to do 😳😳😳 unfortunately it took me a while to get it done aaaaahhh but here we are!!! I'm thinking maybe I'll draw the other 3 as well, or do outfit redesigns? Because I'm not gonna lie, I had expected their outfits to look a bit different based on the initial previews lol, but we'll see if I have the motivation to do it 😅 overall I had a lot of fun drawing Vil AAAAAA 10/10 😤💪 maybe next is epil just to go with my apparent pomefiore theme recently 👀👀 (bonus points to u if u can find the hidden Rook in this piece!!)

Walking the dog!!! A commission for @pixelgoat of their OC Raster, she is very good with the yo-yo🪀

making of:

Raster was Pixel's newest character, my first exploration sketch of her was based of a piece with a viewed-from-above perspective, pixel was happy with it but I still wasn't confident on my take yet

they were nice enough to make a standard 3/4 sketch of her for me to work from, plus, some more notes about her and her design

for the piece, pixel suggested raster doing some yo-yo trick(s), the only one I know by name is "walk the dog" and thats sounded good for them

you may notice the pics here are inverted from how it is on the final, that's because I mistakenly had Raster using her right hand, when she is left-handed, I flipped the image, adjusted some off-looking areas and moved to color

originally I was gonna have some 90s arcade floor-looking simbols for the bg, but being reminded of her interests, I thought of doing a beach area, then thought of adding the blue to make the yo-yo trick look cooler

Rararyn Radarys encounters stray nix hounds along Balmora's eastern quay. The creatures must've swam up the canal to wander into Balmora's back alleys while pursuing cave rats (mind you Balmoran rats are verily the fattest on all Vvardenfell).
