My one offense is thinking that Jekyll and Hyde were fucking in secret whilst reading the first 3/4 of the book. 😭

NO BECAUSE IF YOU IGNORE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON AND LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE IT MAKES SENSE! I KNEW THE PLOT TWIST AND I COULDN’T IGNORE IT! So many times did I have to stop to sigh and clear my head about how queer Jekyll was acting. Like, pookie, you are defending one problem with the evidence needed to create another. Stfu.

I had a friend who, for the first half of the book, was unaware of the plot twist until their mom eventually spoiled it for them. EVEN THEY SUSPECTED THAT THOSE FUCKERS WERE SECRETLY IN LOVE! Bro was devastated when their mom had to sit them down and tell them that Jekyll was just a mad scientist. 😭
