FR 😭 Like… no harm but just read the book. The plot of the book is young boys being hot. Genuinely. Not in a way where it interrogates culture’s association of youth with beauty from the perspective of someone younger, not in a way where the characters are all diverse and real and interesting, it is, like you said, literally just Wilde’s two self inserts grooming a wee boy. With a healthy dose of antisemitism sprinkled in there for good measure
