Your eyes were starting to water due to the number of flashes from the cameras that were going off around you. The bright lights made it difficult to keep your eyes open, but you knew that this was just part of being in the spotlight.

Jack places a hand on your arm, slightly shoving you towards the exit. You ignore the yells of your name and continue to make your way off the carpet.

Your bodyguard, who had been standing nearby, steps in to create a path through the crowd, shielding you and Jack from the relentless paparazzi.

"Did you talk to Jenna?" Jack asks, leaning close enough for his voice to be heard.

You send the bearded man a glare, shaking your head. "No. I don't even think she's walked the carpet yet."

Jack raises an eyebrow before turning his head to the carpet, which is still filled with celebrities and flashing cameras.

He scans the area, searching for any sign of Jenna among the chaos. He then turns back to you with a smirk on his lips. "I think you're just ducking her."

You roll your eyes at Jack's teasing remark.

"Please, like I have time to play hide and seek with Jenna. I'm just trying to avoid the relentless paparazzi."

You gesture towards the swarm of photographers jostling for the perfect shot.

Jack hums, his smile widening. A thought clicks into his head, causing his smile to drop.

"Oh, yeah! I talked to Melissa, and she is fine as fuck."

You thin out your lips. Jack probably didn't know she was married.

"I'll tell her husband you said that."

"You know what they say. Don't let your husband distract you from finding the love of your life."

You chuckle at his joke.

"May I say you look amazing tonight?" The interviewer states, smiling as they admire your appearance.

You smile, bringing your hands together to calm yourself before responding.

"Thank you so much."

"Are you a big fan of the Scream franchise?" The interviewer asks, moving their microphone closer.

You nod, your eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Absolutely! Ghostface is such an iconic character, and I love the twists that they put in the movie. It just always keeps you on your toes."

The interviewer chuckles, sharing your enthusiasm. "I completely agree! The Scream franchise has definitely left a lasting impact on the horror genre with its clever storytelling and memorable characters. Speaking of memorable characters, whose is your favorite?"

You pause for a moment, looking up at the sky as you bite down on your lip.

"Uhh... It's hard to choose just one, but if I had to pick, I would say Roman Bridger. I didn't suspect him at all, and his reveal as the mastermind behind everything in Scream 3 was a total shock. Plus, Scott Foley's performance was absolutely chilling."

The interviewer nods, appreciating your choice. "I couldn't agree more. He's surely one to remember."

You nod again, smiling. "For sure. I've always wanted to play Ghostface. Taking off the mask and revealing your plan must be so fun."

The interviewer laughs and says, "I'm sure you'd do great."

Before you could respond with a thank you, the interviewer speaks up.

"Jenna! It's so nice to see you." You turn to see Jenna, your heart dropping at the sight of her.

You force a tight-lipped smile at the brunette. "Hey Jenna, long time no see," you say, trying to sound casual.

Deep down, you can't help but wonder if she still thinks about you.

Jenna returns the smile. "Yeah, it's been a while," she replies softly.

Memories of your past together flood your mind, and you can't help but wonder if there's still a chance for reconciliation.

"You guys are so stunning, I can't even!" The interviewer gushes, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Jenna chuckles, her eyes meeting yours briefly before she turns her attention back to the interviewer.

"Jenna, I've gotta ask. Are you a fan of Y/N's music?" Jenna nods her head, glancing at you again before answering.

"I am. They're very talented musically, and I'm waiting for another album."

You try to fight back a smile, but it fails miserably. The interviewer notices your failed attempt to hide your smile and chuckles.

"Seems like there's mutual admiration here," they remark, noticing the subtle connection between you and Jenna.

You tilt your head, shrugging a bit. "I guess you could say that. Jenna's very talented herself, both musically and in acting."

Jenna feels the butterflies in her stomach erupt as you compliment her.

She's missed you, and she wants nothing more than to reconnect with you. She blushes slightly and responds, "Thank you."

You walk over to Jenna, interrupting her conversation with Percy. "Jenna."

Jenna turns towards you, a surprised expression on her face as she pauses mid-sentence.

"Come home with me?"

Jenna's eyes widen as she processes your unexpected request, leaving her momentarily speechless.

After a brief moment of hesitation, she nods slowly, her curiosity piqued. "Sure, why not? Let's go."

Percy furrows his eyebrows, watching you and Jenna walk off together.

When you arrive home, you take off your jacket and help Jenna with hers.

Jenna mumbles a thank you before making herself comfortable on the couch.

She looks around the unfamiliar surroundings, seeing as you've changed a few things since the last time she was there.

Jenna's eyes linger on a Polaroid of you and her, capturing a happy memory from months ago. Of course, Jenna still loved you, but was she ready to take the risk of getting hurt again?

She couldn't bear the fact that things might not work out between you two, causing more heartbreak.

Fame had always been a double-edged sword for Jenna. While it had brought her success and recognition, it also came with constant scrutiny and pressure.

It's what ruined you two. Jenna being constantly busy due to acting and you constantly being busy due to singing made it difficult for you both to find quality time together.

Despite the love that still existed between you, the demands of your respective careers created a growing distance that neither of you knew how to bridge.

You walk into the living room, two glasses of wine in your hand. "Actually," Jenna speaks up, and you raise your eyebrows in anticipation.

She continues, "Could we sit on your balcony?"

You nod, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "Of course," you say, leading the way to the balcony.

As you settle into the comfortable chairs, the city lights twinkling below, Jenna takes a deep breath and says, "I miss moments like this, just being together without any distractions."

You take a sip of your wine, pausing to savor the flavor before responding. "Me too," you say, gazing out at the night sky.

"I missed you."

Jenna's eyes soften, and she reaches over to gently touch your lap. "I missed you too," she whispers.

"I hope you know that I'm not dating Percy."

"I know," you reply, a small smile forming on your lips. "I knew you wouldn't downgrade like that."

Jenna chuckles softly, her dimples beginning to show. "That's hilarious."

A silence falls over the two of you.

"I couldn't imagine being with anyone other than you," you snap your head towards her, your heart swelling with love at words.

She always knew the right thing to say.

"You're the only one who truly understands me, Y/N." Jenna's eyes meet yours, her brown pupils glistening in the moonlight.

"I can't find myself being vulnerable or trusting with anyone else." She finishes off, breaking away from your gaze.

You don't say anything, you just place your hand over top of hers, which was resting on your lap.

Summary; “Was at a kickback playing spades. Didn't even know her, Jamaican with pretty eyes. She came over and asked if I would teach her how to play. I was like yeah she sat on my lap and next thing i know i was in a two year relationship. She still doesn't know how to play.”

A/N: I was watching the ShxtsnGigs Podcast for inspo and the second I heard this tweet I had to write it.

Druski had sent a text to Urban about a last minute party, only 15 people or so. Jack decided that hanging out with some friends wouldn't be too bad, especially after the release of his newest album. He put on a simple white tank top, jeans, his glasses, his ‘Private Garden’ ring and some white new balance sneakers.

He waited in the car for Urban to finish getting ready, looking through his phone in the driver's seat making sure he had the address. He then checked out Druskis' story to see if he knew anyone else there, he noticed the house. The perfect place for a chill party, he thought. He stopped at a clip of you laughing your ass off when someone's soda exploded. Clicking on the right side of his screen for what felt like the thousandth time in a row just to hear your laugh over and over again, ‘typa’ shit people write songs about’, he thought.

The passenger door suddenly opened and shut “Aight, lets go.” Jack quickly hit the power button on the side of his phone, shoving it in his pocket “Word”.

The drive was quick, only making one stop for gas and some candy.

Once they arrived Urban made a beeline for the living room in the form of a conversation pit. He watched as Urban carefully made his way down the ramp, dapping Druski up before sitting down. Jack took a second to admire the house and headed to the kitchen. He searched the fridge, pleasantly surprised at the lack of alcohol he grabbed a ‘Sprite’ and walked towards the two seater couch in the corner, surrounded by windows. Not much light came through due to the night sky but the stars were beautiful regardless. Once again he found himself on his phone, scrolling aimlessly before he was interrupted.

“Hey man” he looked up, finding the source of the voice to be Urban “We ‘finna play cards, want in?” “Sure” he stood. “What are we playing?” “Spades”.

As he made his way down the ramp he noticed you, isolated in the corner laughing in Druskis' general direction. He made his way in front of you, “Can I?” he pointed towards the seat next to you. You looked up at him and nodded with a smile, and pulled your blanket onto your lap. He maneuvered around the tables and sat down, placing his can in front of him. He turned to you and held out his hand, “I'm Jack, you?” you chuckled, “I know who you are, it's nice to meet you”. You shook his hand. “How are you liking the party so far?” “It's cool, this house is awesome. I thought you couldn't get conversation pits any more.” you smiled “you can't, I had to get it built after I bought the house”

Jack took a second to process your words “this is your place?” “yes” Jack turned his body towards you “damn, you got good taste” your smile still had not faltered “thank you”.

Your little bubble popped when an empty ‘Coke Can’ hit Jack's shoulder. “Hey, you still gon’ play?” Jack turned to face the table and leaned forward “Yea, deal me in” he turned back to you “you playin’? “I don't know how” he smiled slyly, “I'll teach you” you leaned forward and rested your head on his shoulder “ok”.

Two Years Later

You were sitting outside, cuddled with your favorite blanket talking to Druski, Urban and his girl, Sunny and Cozane when Jackman walked out of the back door. “I found the pickle chips!”

Everyone around the fire pit broke out in ‘horrays’ while you smiled. Jack made a beeline towards you, handing off the large green bag before sitting down and pulling you into his lap. He looked down at you with so much love, “You havin’ fun baby?”. You smiled up at him and responded “Yes” before leaning up to kiss him. After a solid 15 seconds there was a chorus of gags and other expressions of disgust that made you both giggle before separating and facing the other people around the fire. “Oh shut up y'all are cute” Urbans girl said, she was always sweet to you even though you'd only known each other for a few months when she started dating Urban.

“Aight’ enough of this, who wants to play spades?” Druski said, pulling a deck of cards out of his pants pocket. “How are we gonna play spades around a fire?” Sunny said quizzically. “I don't know, yall are ruining the vibe, y/n play with me right quick” “I cant play spades” you said, everyone looked at you, Jack looked down at you and said “I thought i taught you the night we met?” Your smile brightened tenfold, “you tried to but I honestly wasn't paying attention.” You’ll tell him the reason another day, deciding that a spontaneous ego boost might not be what this moment needs. Jack smiled and laughed along with everyone else in the yard.

In that moment Jack thought about how glad he was to have sat next to you that night and to be sitting next to you now, he also reminded himself to actually teach you how to play cards.

I wrote something I'm kinda proud of, what!!??!?!? In other news, would yall be ok if I wrote for marvel and obx? I'm hyperfixating rn and i need an excuse to get m ideas out, i might have you guys vote on what I should write next 😏

What about Rancher!Graves as a kid.

It's established that he's a blonde-haired and blue-eyed American with nothing but love for guns, cows, and his family.

What about this smug asshole as a kid. Middle school aged, maybe.

There's so much love in his life. Raised with chivalry from Pa, gentleness from Ma, certain sass and a "take no shit" attitude from Memaw and Joseph, and a damn good eye for detail from Pop-pop. The walls of the house are littered with framed photographs of the whole family, and there's more photo albums than you can count with two hands.

He's so excited for the school year to end. The school bus drops him off at the end of the dirt path to his family's ranch, and he barely waves goodbye to his friends before he's practically full sprinting towards the big wooden gate to the land.

So excited to finally spend time with the animals and his pa, helping to fix that rickety ol' door in the barn where they keep the cows because Ma keeps complaining about it. It was a little lonely now that his older brother Joseph had shipped off to the army, but he occupied himself. Better to keep busy than to dwell.

Phil certainly spoiled the cows- hosing them up, brushing their coats, even hand drying them when they're finished shaking themselves off.

"Philly, knock it off, will ya? They're gon' start expectin' that from all of us if y' keep it up." "I promise I'll take care o' all of 'em!" "Better keep it- I'm tellin' Ma you said so."

And he does. Even when Pa wakes him up at the ass crack of dawn- when sunlight is barely creeping in towards the horizon- he's suddenly not so tired when he remembers that he's got to feed his cows. Pa has to grab him by the scruff of his neck to keep him from running down the hall.

"Ma'll kill us if y' don't brush yer teeth, boy. She's gonna know that toothbrush o' yers is bone dry. Go on."

He's barely washed his face properly before he's hopping down the stairs, jamming his feet into his boots, grabbing a slice of bread and a hard boiled egg, and hauling himself out the backdoor.

Midday breeze tousles his hair as he rests against the trunk of the big ol' bald cypress out by the horse pen, thumbing through a copy of the latest Spider-Man issue and chewing through an apple as he takes a break from helpin' Ma with her garden. He turns his head when he hears her voice call from the house.

"Philly, it's time for lunch!"

And he scampers off, comic in hand as he tosses the apple core off to the side for whatever animal to find and finish up. Honeysuckle sweet tea, ham sandwiches, fruit. Peaches, from his grandmother's little grove. Makes the damned best filling for his mother's pies- best in the whole state, he'd reckon.

Hello omori and hxh fans

[ Spoilers for omori later on ]

Hi!!!1! I just decided to make a bunch of hxh x omori sprites for my funny little fusion au idea because I really like hxh and omori both

so here are the sillies

His name is KIRA. I might change it later on but for now it’ll be KIRA since i couldnt rlly decide on another one.

I havent made neutrals for leorio/kurapika yet but here !!! I made it for a little interaction. I decided that since in omori theres not much of an age difference, that kurapika will be 14 in the past and leorio will be 16, and later obv 18 and 20.

Alluka is still 11 and Kalluto is still 10 though, as well as killua and gon being both 12 in the past (14, 15, 16, 16, 18, and 20)

I made the text boxes and stuff with my art and this excellent dialogue generator it was very fun.

I havent made gon or kallutos dw sprites yet but...

[ Major omori spoilers & tw for death/suicide ]

ok so here we get into the nitty gritty of the story, so if youve played/watched a playthrough of omori you know what im talking abt...

so in the story, sunny accidentally kills mari and basil watches. If you didnt already guess, Killua is supposed to be sunny, Gon would be mari, and basil will be kalluto.

Killua moved in with gon a month prior because he was old enough and his home situation obviously isnt the best (a lot of trauma with his parents and illumi which in the hikikomori route would go much in depth to) and since they lived together more they got into more fights.

One day, Kalluto was over and Killua and Gon got in a big argument. Kalluto was speechless and they wanted to interfere but couldn’t as they saw their brothers face. Killua was getting really agitated and pushed Gon down the stairs accidcentally.

Idk what the argument will be about specifically... I don’t know if i hsould have them do a performance or not like in the actual game. I also dont know what they’ll do with gon after they find out hes.. yk.. dead... but it’ll probably be a staged suicide as well, as that makes the rest of the group feel even more conflicted. Especially Leorio, who thought himself a bigger brother figure to Gon, and Kurapika, who feels guilty about often relying on Gon to comfort him instead of comforting Gon.

The scene....

The last box is more or less a reference to the scene in the truth sequence where there are a bunch of hospital beds and if you interact with them it says “This person is not alive.” or “This person is not breathing.” Ifg but yea.

Speaking of the truth sequence, instead of collecting photos, you collect scraps of ripped paper from a drawing of the truth by kalluto. Instead of taking photos, Kalluto likes to draw/do paper crafts, and instead of a photo album, they have a sketchbook for drawings relating to their friends.

After gon dies, Killua obv isolates like sunny in the game, but Mito is more involved in taking care of him unlike sunnys mom.

I think there will be two somethings, one being the bitterness of gons death and gons spirit being twisted into a sick innocent... thing, and the other being illumi’s... well basically everything illumi told killua about himself, and killua being convinced that it’s true.

Alluka tries to be positive, and is the one to get Killua out of the house, and sticks up for Kalluto when they need it.

Kalluto really wants killua to like them, and is now scared of him and feels like his burden. Theyre often anxious around him and Killua tries to repress any bad memories, so he doesnt interact with Kalluto when they see each other again much at all.

The zoldyck household is not a very good place to be in any case for Kalluto and Alluka. Illumi left, luckily, but their parents were still as harsh (transphobicc...), and often say theyre glad that their friend group seperated. Alluka learned to stand up for herself and Kalluto in this environment because Killua wasn’t there anymore. (Kalluto Basil parallels -- you came back to save me)

Kurapika also isolates but in a different way. He isn’t a hikikomori, and he goes outside a lot, but hes closed off emotionally. He stopped caring about school, so he didn’t even bother looking into college after he graduated. He pretends that he doesnt know his friends, which isnt very successful with Alluka or Leorio, but it really hurts Kalluto. When they try to talk to him, he’s very passive aggressive.

Kurapikas home life isnt great. He was orphaned at 12 years old, and his relationship with his legal guardian, Izunavi, wasn’t too amazing at first, but begrudgingly by the time he turned 14 they got along. Everything reverted when Gon died, however, as he stopped talking to his caretaker as well as his friends.

So hes kind of like real world aubrey in the way that he becomes prickly towards his friends, but he doesnt join a gang.... There would def be a ‘it means everything’ like scene and also a breakdown scene where Kurapika breaks down and apologizes to everybody, especially Kalluto who isnt there if were going like the sunny route plot.

Leorio is at college!!!!! and going to med school obv.. I think he would have always wanted to be a doctor unlike hero, so in dw maybe he would have a SYRINGE AS A WEAPON HELP. But anyways he feels so guilty about gons death like gon was like a little brother to him, and he was so young. So he was definitely depressed like hero was/is. Alluka consistently visited him (and tried to visit kurapika and killua to no avail) before he left for college, and she helped him become less depressed. He wants his friends to be happy again and will do anything to make sure nothing happens to any of them.

He notices especially how different Killua, Kurapika, and partially Kalluto are, and he is the one that really helps Kurapika open up after everything thats happened. He’s not sure how to talk to Kalluto and Killua about it as much, though.

...instead of garden sheers, kalluto has scissors...

2. Lavender Bones

Masterlist

It’s time to move to the dorms and Sayomi already misses her brother and aunt, at least her new friends are there to help.

This is set in their first year

Saturday, the day everyone moves into their dorms. The UA first years will officially be on campus and Sayomi was feeling a little nervous and Gon could tell. As her younger brother he felt it was important that she knew he could take care of himself and Aunt Mito.

Each morning since the beginning of school he would make her snacks to take to school, he’d made a charm for her and started making a small photo album of the three of them for her to look at when she feels lonely. He was a good brother and he knew it because Sayomi always told him.

>> The day prior <<

“Gon is Sayomi moving into the UA dorms tomorrow?” Gon’s best friend Killua asked as they walked to the Freecss household- Killua typically came over to do homework and have dinner on Fridays.

“Oh yeah she is.” Gon smiled. “Is Illumi?”

“Yeah. I think he and Sayomi are in the same class actually.” Killua said with a shrug. “He was talking about her and a few others yesterday at dinner.”

“Good things I hope… though it is Illumi so I won’t be surprised.” A new voice called making the boys jump and yell.

“Mimi you scared me.” Gon pouted giving his sister a light punch as she ruffled both their hair. “Is it true that Illumi is in your class?”

“Sadly yes I have to see his face every day..” she said dramatically.

“I’m surprised you haven’t thrown anything at him yet.” Killua snickered- bringing up a memory from when they were younger and she began throwing Illumi’s pins back at him… good times, good times.

“Why do you have a rivalry with him anyway?” Gon asked while scratching at his chin.

“I dunno he doesn’t like me and I don’t like him that’s kind of all there is too it. Mostly because he treats Kill in a shitty way.”

“Everyone in my house does except my grandparents.” Killua said with a shrug.

“Now that won’t do.” She gasped using her quirk to pull the boys into a hug with her. “We shall go home do homework and then watch a pre quirk movie… let’s go!!”

>> Saturday <<

The last box was in the UA moving van and all of the Freecss could safely say they would miss each other- sure she’d come to visit every other weekend but it’s hard being away from family for so long.

“We’ll miss you Mimi.” Gon said hugging him sister tight, Killua only giving her a fist bump before stalking back towards his family home (around the corner in quite the extravagant home compared to the Freecss humble apartment).

“Hey, I’ll miss you too. We’ll see each other every other weekend so I’ll still be around.” Sayomi says, jumping a little as Aunt Mito grasps her in a tight hug as well.

“Oh sweetie I’m so proud.” Their Aunt says, smiling softly- definitely having no tears in her eyes as she did.

The mover honked his horn, signalling for her to go. It was time.

“I love you both. Message me every day and call me on weekends!” Sayomi yelled as she rushed into the passenger seat, waving at her small family as she leaves.

Time for her adventure to start.

It was amusing in a way, seeing everyone shuffle around to find their dorm room and make sure they had all of their belongings. Sayomi was aware she was the only one who’d actually come via moving van but that’s because Aunt Mito didn’t have a car and none of them had anyone to drive them (well technically she could have come with Illumi but that’s beside the point).

Pulling out her belongings and placing them under a sign with her name on it she sighed. This would be a long process; she could already tell.

“Freecss.” The brunette spun around to be faced with Illumi of all people.

“Zoldyuck.” She responded.

“May I help you bring your items to your dorm- I have already finished.”

Sayomi paused… and then she blinked slowly.

“You? You want to help me?”

“Yes. Is this a problem?” The boy’s empty eyes seemed… confused almost? She wasn’t sure.

“Considering we aren’t particularly amicable I am surprised.” She answered.

“My father suggested it.” Illumi responded. “He said you and I should attempt to be cordial for the sake of our brothers… and becoming heroes. You would make a valuable ally with your quirk.”

Sayomi blinked again.

“Okay yeah whatever. We can friendly I suppose.” She sighed. “You can grab the box labelled school.”

“Understood.” Illumi said before reaching for the large cardboard box. “Do you know where your room is yet?”

“No I hadn’t looked at the chart yet I just got here.”

“She’s on my floor.” A new voice called, turning again this time to see Hisoka grinning as he made his way over, Chrollo right beside him.

“Same with me, floor three.” Chrollo added. “I believe you will be Machi’s neighbour.”

“Pink haired girl in seat one right?” Sayomi questioned. Chrollo nodded.

“Yes that’s her. May we help you with your boxes too? We’ve already put ours away.”

“You don’t want to unpack them all?” She asks.

“We can help you bring these upstairs before we do that.”

“What Chrollo said.” Hisoka grinned as he was grabbing her box labelled desk and misc.

Chrollo grabbed one of her clothing boxes while she grabbed the other, leaving only her suitcase left- which Hisoka offered to take as well (apparently her desk and miscellaneous box was light anyway… it was not light considering all the crap thrown in there).

“You didn’t bring much.” Illumi noted as they walked inside- taking note of where her room was as they did.

“It’s enough for now. If I need anything I’ll get a note and go back home.” She answers as they step into the elevator.

“Is there a reason you don’t have much?” Hisoka asks.

“Unlike Pin boy here I’m not rich.” Is her response. One the pink haired teen nodded at.

“He does have an unfathomable amount of wealth doesn’t he?” Hisoka snickered, earning himself an emotionless glance. “Honestly if I had that much money I’d buy a shit tone of gum and candy.”

“Gum and candy?” Sayomi found herself asking and almost immediately regretting it- she’d barely known these boys for a short period of time but she learnt fast that Hisoka liked the sound of his own voice… though he wasn’t the worst in that regard- just weird.

“When I was younger my favourite brands of candy and gum got discontinued and I was so excited to have a quirk that seemed so similar to it- hence my quirks name Bungee Gum and having a power up I have called Texture surprise stupid names but they make sense.” Hisoka admits as he stares at the elevator doors.

“Huh guess I can’t say much.. my quirk is called Tug of War because when I first got it, it was a super weak form of Telekinesis.” She hums, acknowledging his story with her own little bit of fondness. That didn’t mean she found him comfortable to be around, he still got well into her personal space and she can tell even now he’ll do that considering he knows where her dorm room is.

“Mine is called Pins and Needles.” Illumi added, as blunt as ever.

“What about you Chrollo?” Hisoka grinned, now leaning back towards the bandana wearing teen.

“Mine is called Skill Hunter I can copy quirks and as long as they go in my book I can hold onto them for as long as possible… so I suppose I can hunt for quirks.” Chrollo mused. “Sayomi your quirk seems interesting I’d love to hear more about it.”

Sayomi laughed at that. She doubted it was that interesting being simple telekinesis.

“It’s just telekinesis, nothing special.” She said just as the doors slid open.

“I disagree telekinesis is quite powerful and you must have a large range considering the quirk assessment test Mr Shinsou gave us.” Chrollo added, gliding forward to meet her pace.

“I suppose?” She said quietly, face pressing into the box to hide her reddening face.

After a moment of silence, silence Sayomi was thankful for, they reached what would be her dorm room. Her name was placed in the slot on the door, Sayomi Freecss, in bold lettering.

She sighed, Sayomi didn’t want her last name to define her- and if anyone here did recognise it she would deny any relation to the bastard that was her and Gon’s father.

“Sayomi?” Hisoka poked her from her stupor with a weirdly innocent looking expression- he almost seemed worried for her.

“Sorry. It’s weird is all. I’m used to living with my Aunt and Brother.” She answers with an awkward grin.

“The brother that’s friends with Killua right?” Hisoka asked. She nods.

“The one and only.” She replies, dorm room door swinging open as she presses against it.

The room wasn’t bad. She had a bed, desk with a chair, draws and wardrobe, it was more space than her room back home at least.

“The rooms are small.” Illumi said, voice as usual void of any emotion or care.

“This is big compared to my room back home.” She tutted. Illumi only hummed in response.

“They are good rooms.” Chrollo stated. “Hisoka and I are around the other side, Illumi is on the second floor.”

“Cool.” Sayomi responded as she pushed her box onto the unmade bed before opening it and pulling out what the boys noted was sheets and blankets.

“Let me help.” Chrollo says placing his box on the ground beside Illumi and Hisoka’s- who had dragged her suitcase towards the far corner of the room.

Chrollo was quick in pulling at the sheets, placing the cover on the mattress with ease before helping her tuck her sheet into the bed frame as well, leaving Sayomi to pull on pillow covers and throw the quilt over the bed.

“Well that’s done.” She laughed. “I’ve never seen a bed made so fast.”

“Ah I figured you’d want to sit down before actually unpacking.” The dark haired teen said scratching the back of his neck.

“Hey question.” Hisoka interrupted, having the three others look at him expectantly. “You guys know what hero names you want to have yet?”

“I haven’t thought of one.” Sayomi answered first, shrugging as she continued. “Maybe Kinetic? But I dunno, telekinesis quirks are hard to give a hero name too.”

“Kinetic sounds cool.” Hisoka answered with his usual wide grin, the star and tear on his face seeming to crinkle as he did. “I’m thinking The Magician.”

“Why?” Illumi asked.

“Well besides my Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise I quite like my cards.” The red head shrugged.

“Nah I can see it.” Sayomi adds.

“I have not thought of a name. Perhaps something similar to pro hero Phantom Thief.” Chrollo spoke up. “As you said it’s hard to find a name for my quirk.”

“My mother suggested Hypnos.” Illumi added.

“Like the god of sleep?” Hisoka asked.

“Yes. Since I can use the pins to manipulate anything I had found that people tend to fall asleep and act more like dolls than anything so Hypnos could work.”

“Yeah I don’t see why not.” Sayomi shrugged. “Anyway, you guys should go get your dorms sorted, I’ll probably only take out my necessities and organise the rest over time anyway. Plus I need to call my Aunt and brother.”

“Oh yes. I apologise for encroaching on your room.” Chrollo said, bowing deeply as he did.

“It’s fine.” She laughed.

“Well I’m not sorry. I hope you know I plan to annoy you to no end.” Hisoka teased. Sayomi only rolled her eyes.

“I shall see you around.” Illumi said before vanishing out the door.

“Good chat.” She snorted. “Anyway I’ll see you guys at lunch.”

“Alright then.” Hisoka groaned before offering her a cheeky smile as he guided Chrollo out of the room- her door swinging shut behind them.

With a groan Sayomi flopped onto her bed, phone in hand as she sent a text to her aunt saying she was there and safe.

This would be an interesting year; she had no doubts about that- but alas she would make do and become a hero worthy of her little brother.

It will continue to explore the conflicts and relationships among the four main characters: Eun Seom, Tan Ya, Ta Gon, and Tae Al Ha. However, the roles of Eun Seom and Tan Ya have been recast to reflect the time jump. Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung will take over the roles from Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won respectively. T.I. and Boosie, two southern rap icons, recently came to blows online over a long-forgotten story. But it appears things have smoothed over. Chapter 56 - Conversations and Revelations

“Greetings, Jedi Masters.” The gray skinned secretary smiled at them. “Director Gotuick will see you shortly.”

Qui-Gon sat down to wait, then looked up at Obi-Wan who was starting to pace, still with that grumpy look on his face. “Live in the moment, Padawan.”

“I am. At this moment both of our Padawans are without supervision.” Obi-Wan answered. “This idea of yours, to split up, makes me uncomfortable.”

“You didn’t object when I brought it up.”

“I didn’t feel this way then.”

Qui-Gon looked up as he nodded. “Aaaaaah. Just remember to be mindful of the moment as well as the future. Right now both of our Padawans are safe.”

Obi-Wan took a deep breath. “Yes, I know.”

Both men looked up to a droid opening the office door. “Director Gotuick will see you now.” They stood up and followed it into the chambers.

Qui-Gon bowed goodbye to the secretary outside of the office, “I apologize for knight Kenobi. He seems to have forgotten his manners today.”

“It’s okay. I’ve had those days too.” The Kakala seemed to understand. She smiled as her eyes slid towards the doorway. Qui-Gon nodded to her, then hurried out.

Obi-Wan had raced out of that office the moment they were given leave. Qui-Gon understood it, he did. He knew the almost paternal attachment that forms between a knight and his Padawan. But there was a reason they had their bonds, and it was for moments like this.

“The younglings are still safe.” He said as he ran up to Obi-Wan in the hall.

The young Knight almost glared at him. “I’d like to see it for myself.”

Qui-Gon grunted as he struggled to keep up with the younger knight. “As Anakin grows up, he won’t need you every hour of every day. It’s good to let go sometimes.”

Obi-Wan stopped and turned. “Is that why you gave him the poster? He’s not growing up fast enough for you.”

Qui-Gon blinked. “The poster. I told you. He asked me for it.”

“He’s a thirteen year old boy, who has had a crush on her Royal Highness ever since we left Naboo. And now he has a poster of her up on his wall!”

Qui-Gon laughed. He knew it wasn’t the correct way to react, but he just couldn’t help it. In a moment he collected himself, and placed a hand on his offended Padawan’s shoulder. “Do you remember the Jaelen Girls?” He waited for the look of recognition on Obi-Wan’s face. “You had a crush on the youngest one. What was her name? Ara. No. Ren…”

“Rayelle,” Obi-Wan corrected him. “And I didn’t have a poster of her on my wall.”

“No, all of her photos were wearing a skin-tight jumpsuit. Instead you had her album which you listened to all day long! My point is, every teenager goes through this. Have you had the conversation with him?”

Obi-Wan got quiet. “No. Not yet.” he sighed. “I was hoping someone on the council would say something, or… I don’t know.”

“He’s your Padawan. The council may want to help, but you should be the one he has this conversation with.” Qui-Gon paused.

Obi-Wan groaned an ‘I know you’re right, but I don’t want to,’ groan.

“Do you know how I had my conversation? It was with the healers in the temple. When I started asking questions, my master didn’t want to talk about it either. It was really awkward. I didn’t want to ask any more questions after that and I went down to the archives to do my own research. I think that’s why Master Nu still gives me weird looks when I go down there. Anyways, I do wish it had been my Master who told me. This is the sort of talk you want to have with someone you trust.

Obi-Wan let out a sigh. “Yeah, you’re right. I will try to do it when we finish the mission.”

Qui-Gon nodded. They followed their Padawans’ bonds to the cafeteria on the lower level of the bank. In the room, they saw both boys sitting at a table surrounded by pastries. Qui-Gon knocked his shoulder against Obi-Wan’s, “Oh no. Look at all those sweets. What are we going to do?”
