He likes riding on his shoulders everywhere because it gives him a good view of the street.

Sometimes, he’ll ask for a piggy back ride, forget he needs to carry his own weight halfway through, and just dangle his feet while choking Battinson with his strong little arms until Bruce frantically taps out.

He’ll braid Bruce’s hair when he gets anxious in public. That leads to Battinson carrying around those colorful rubber ties in his pocket at all times.

Dick just forgoes asking Bruce to grab something, drags him to the right spot to stand, then climbs him like a monkey.

When Dick becomes Robin, he will “steer” Bruce using his bat ears while riding his shoulders. (“Just like Ratatouille! I’m the chef, and you’re the pasta guy.”)

Someone sees Bruce in public at one point from the front, wonders where his kid went cuz he was right there just a second ago? then Bruce turns 90 degrees, and there’s Dick clinging to his back like a cuddly little parasite.

This does not stop when Dick gets older. Bruce just gets stronger.

On a brighter note I loved seeing the cute/ funny scenes with their moments of domesticity, whether with all three of them or just Louis and Lestat. The dancing together scenes, them yelling up to Claudia not to run or skip in the house, her throwing things at them and telling them to get out of her room, her dressing up to go out and Lestat being like “I don’t remember buying that outfit” “I jumped a girl between speakeasies. I wear it better :)”, the scene where Lestat and Louis talked about the chiffon skirt which had me DYING, Lestat coming over to Louis’ coffin (🥹🥰). Those were all amazing and I knew it wouldn’t last forever but I wish it could have 😭

Prompt: Secret Relationship

Conner, Clovis, Nico, and Jason all sat at the Hade's table, talking absently over their breakfasts. Clovis being the exception, as he was passed out asleep next to Nico. Jason sat across from the son of Hades, and next to him Conner.

They were an odd group of people, all left alone at camp together for the summer. Conner, alone with Travis attending New Rome, usually sat at the Hades table anyways. The Hermes cabin was always far too crowded.

"Nico," Connor started, picking at his oatmeal like it was prison food, "you have a crush on anyone right now?"

Nico furrowed his eyebrows. "...no?"

Conner nodded. "Listen, man, I think you need to start dating."

"No thanks."

Jason chuckled. Nico kicked him under the table.

"Why not? I'm sure you have guys falling at your feet," Conner prodded, laughing.

"Yeah Neeks," Jason laughed too, but a little harder. "Why not?"

Nico kicked him slightly harder.

"I could set you up with someone," Conner offered, waving his spoon around.

"No thanks," Nico said slightly faster.

"You sure? I know some people who would be interested."

"Very sure. Thanks for the offer."

Jason was laughing so hard Nico felt the urge to kick him again, but decided against it. He'd let him have his fun for now.

Conner decided to drop the topic for the rest of breakfast. But it put no end to Jason's amusement.

After what felt like an eternity for Nico, breakfast ended and the table dispersed to their own cabins, shaking Clovis awake.

Nico got a few moments of peace in his cabin before the door was practically busted in by Jason.

Jason still had a smile plastered on his face. Nico rolled his eyes, but he smiled too. Nico opened his arms, waiting for Jason to come lay with him.

"Why aren't you dating anyone, Neeks?" Jason quoted, laughing hysterically.

"Shut up," Nico laughed.

Jason pulled Nico into his arms, kissing him with a smile. Nico wrapped his arms around Jason's neck, kissing him a little deeper to make up for their lost time earlier. Jasons hands rubbed circles on Nico's back.

"I knew it!" A voice yelled from the doorway.

Nico practically jumped out of his skin, turning his head to see none other than Conner, phone in hand and pointing at Nico and Jason on the bed.

"Damn it," Nico laughed, getting up with Jason and proceeding to chase Conner around camp for his phone for an hour.
