gotta say I am a huge sucker for how Adventure Time will sometimes just cut to Princess Bubblegum doing something extremely morally dubious like cutting off a tiny person’s limbs with scissors and then sticking those arms and legs onto another tiny person’s limb stumps but then she'll turn around and go like "Good morning, Finn! Are you ready for a sploinking day?" and whatever atrocities she had just been committing will Never be brought up again.

Oh boy. It has been too long since I've drawn her. This woman singlehandedly developed my love for villain women (and probably a large portion of how fruity I am)

.
The idea of this is that I redesigned Catra during her Leader of the Horde era.

My praise kink goes so hard oh my god.
“You’re such a good girl.”
“Just like that, you just know how to please me.”
“You’re so lovely, so pretty for me.”
“Just my sweet Princess, aren’t you?”
“You taste so fucking good, baby.”
“So beautiful, look how wet you are for me.”

She was a Playboy, Brigitte Bardot
She showed me things I didn't know
She did it right there, out on the deck
Put her canine teeth in the side of my neck

I know Alabasta, especially with the royal family it has, seems very open-minded about these things and there's no reason why Vivi would have to hide she likes girls. But... It doesn't even have to be that way for her to feel like she has to hide it. Maybe they just don't take it into consideration. Maybe they just won't stop mentioning (ever since she was a little girl) that she was going to end up marrying a man.
She knows etiquette so of course she didn't say anything in front of other important families, but... There is a point, I think, where either she just accepts that it is alright if she marries a man as long as it is for her kingdom, or maybe she just decides she won't marry anybody ever. She can rule Alabasta on her own when her father isn't able to.
I like the concept of her having these ideas in her head but never once wondering if she likes girls until she meets Nami and everything comes so... Naturally for them. Because Nami is used to liking women. She is used to talking about it and acting upon her feelings and she is a pirate and she is free. And Vivi wants all of that.
But Vivi tries to push the feelings away because there is no way she is going to be with a girl she just met. Who happens to be a pirate. And a girl. Then Vivi struggles during all of Alabasta to push her feelings away, which is easy because she has more important things to worry about, but once Crocodile is defeated, she ends up thinking about it. All the time. And I know we love these two already dating by the time Alabasta ends, but I like to think Vivi has time to think about them and what Nami means to her. And she isn't asking her to wait for her to find out what she wants, but Nami waits anyway.
