post-canon every single member of kimcom likes to spoon kim dokja. nonsexually. it's just nice to know he's alive and there and feel his chest rise and fall within the circle of your arms. try to do something stupid now asshole. oh you can't? because of my octopus impression? that's right. take THAT. however i will make one exception for yoo joonghyuk. yoo joonghyuk may want to spoon kim dokja, but he never gets the opportunity because kim dokja wants to spoon him more. so the sleeping arrangement is yjh>kdj>all other kimcom members on rotation. actually i take it back there's one other household member who doesn't want to spoon kim dokja and it's yoo mia, but that's fine because she's one of the only people (besides kim dokja) who yoo joonghyuk would be comfortable spooning. so there's probably times when it's yma>yjh>kdj>today's lucky winner.

“You… You are full of surprises, aren’t you?” Astarion chuckles airily. His eyes are round with softness and affection.

Two hundred years - when was the last time he had a simple hug? Not an embrace in the throes of sex, just a hug. It felt like a spike of adrenaline, like somebody had flooded his system with sugar. He felt high, almost. Caught up in the feeling something so simple could bring.

He clears his throat nervously, rocking back on his heels. He feels like an idiotic school boy. “May I, uhm, kiss you?”

You smiled, nodding slightly. You didn’t approach him, didn’t move to initiate at all. It… relieved him to know it was within his powers to not act on it. But he wanted this. He wanted to try, anyway.

His shoulders relaxed as he stepped forward, reaching out to touch your arm for support more than anything else, as he leaned in and carefully tested the waters. It was chaste; a simple kiss with no pomp or circumstance. A mere brushing of lips, really. But it felt electric. The thrill of knowing he wouldn’t be forced to do anything he didn’t want to do.

He sighed. Centuries of tension fell away. He pressed a little more, hand holding yours as he felt out the kiss. Gods, when had he last kissed anyone so softly before? When had it ever felt this nice?

He lingered as long as he wished before he pulled away, a satisfied grin on his lips. “Thank you,” he whispered. “Honestly, I have no idea what we’re doing. Or what comes next. But I know that his…” He squeezes your hand in his, studies the way you seem to glow as you beam up at him, overjoyed along with him as he takes hold of his freedom by the reins. He can’t help the goofy, bright smile that creases his face in return. “This is nice.”
