i will keep arguing that its more suprising to see a fairy than a walrus knocking at your door. leaving cat food outside my door has allowed me to see some animals that are NOT supposed to be there outside of my door. if a walrus shows up, theres many ways it could have gotten there. poaching. poorly thought out pet. zoo escapee. i could deal with a walrus. i think id laugh, take a picture of it, and call animal control. a fairy would require a revaluation of the world as i know it

I've asked this question before and been surprised by the results, now I have access to more weirdos it's your problem:

It is the middle of a Sunday afternoon. You have nothing on, and aren't expecting visitors, deliveries or post.

Unexpectedly, there is a knock at the door.

I think if a fairy showed up at my house like yeah they are not real but there is narrative precedent for that. a fairy, if it existed, would show up at a house. i just need to suspend one disbelief everything else tracks. it's a big surprise, but a singular one. i would know how to get with the programm pretty quick.

if a walrus knocked at my door there would be many more fucking questions than one. a walrus showing up at my house? knowing that knocking is the required social etiquette? having reasons to know on my door and somehow the ability to do that despite having no arms? said walrus coming to me of all people?? a walrus being real is the least of my concerns at that point why the fuck does it need my help what kind of problem can I solve that a socially aware and apparently findextrous walrus fucking can't

Came up with some twist-villain!Dedf1sh level music. We don't yet know what to make of Acht and Marina's shared history, so I'm envisioning some kind of self-imposed grudge tempered by her own morbid curiosity.

The reason Dedf1sh allowed herself to be ensnared by Tartar was because of Acht's desire to hone her music-making craft, right? If this process took place after Marina heard the Calamari Inkantation, then those two events could be linked.

If music can reformat the minds of a thousand soldiers and compel a dear friend to leave it all behind; to leave me behind... then what else can music do? How can I harness that power to my own ends? What if I could make the Inkantation my bitch?

Acht Mizuta may have perished down there in the Deepsea Metro, but her sense of purpose did not.
