He asked his parents about it, but they never spill the beans. Determined to find out more, Later, Noa moves to Strangerville. I came across fever-project's pokemon au and enjoyed it so much they got me excited to try building my own team for the lads!

First up Sky

🐥Moltres: Crimson has to be included! I debated between Moltres and Charizard, you know, with Charizard being the og favorite of Gen1, featuring  in every pokemon game, often with a new form. But Moltres won out— it just felt weird for Crimson not to be a bird, plus fire/sun motifs.

🐥Altaria: Ah, the joys of an afternoon nap. Sky enters through the fog wall... Perishes*

🐥Zacian, the Crowned Sword: Behold, the hero of Howlrule! (Disclaimer: Not my joke, totally swiped from the brilliant Alternatemind and their fic Ranch Days. Do yourself a favor and give it a read—it's pure, light-hearted wholesomeness.) And doesn't the fairy type just feel right for the hero of courage?

🐥Dragonite: I love the duality between mother hen Sky and gale force battle Sky. Perfectly fits Dragonite's personality

🐥Sirfetch'd: Say hello to Skyloft's honorary sky knight! When I realized its shiny form was gold, well, it was a must have

🐥Mew: Now, I had quite the dilemma—Mew or Mewtwo? Since Sky is technically the first of the reincarnations. But really mew is just cuter

🔴 Partner Pokémon: Just like in the anime, each trainer has that one special Pokémon who sticks by their side outside their pokeball. And for Sky, it's gotta be Moltres. I mean, how could it *not* be Crimson?

⚪ Smaller Team: There are 9 of these lads. That's waaaay too many mons at one time, so I went ahead and trimmed the teams down to three choices.

Something so random that I’ve been thinking about in rvb is how the art style changes between seasons/arcs (bc of the different halo games) and how that’s both acknowledged in canon as being different but also sometimes it’s not different? I am super tired rn it’s like 1 am this might be incoherent I am bad with words! (Also I am aware it’s just more plot holes/inconsistencies lol but let me ramble)

The thing that made me start thinking abt this is the photo in Illinois’ place of him and some other freelancers has them all in halo 5 armor, but none of the freelancers except for him are shown in the upgraded armor outside of that photo. Like we know for a fact that York and north both had the gen1/halo3 armor when they died so why would they have the gen2/halo5 armor before their deaths…… and i know it’s just because of the art style or whatever but at the same time in season 13(?) carolina’s flashback to the freelancers in the “true hero” test thing had them all as they appear in halo 3, while Carolina herself is in the halo 4 armor bc the chorus trilogy is all in halo 4. So it’s like in season 15 the armor difference is an art style thing but in the chorus trilogy it’s not ?

Uh also iirc the blood gulch crew notices when their armor changes from halo CE to halo 2. Which is more of a meta (haha) joke/reference than anything that can actually be explained plot wise .

ALSO the meta’s armor in s13 is the halo 3 armor. So like the armor is clearly meant to be portrayed as it is ingame as different models/generations it’s just that ONE PHOTO and also the s3(??) stuff that leaves those plot holes

Tbf rvb has a lot of plot holes I’ve learnt to just ignore them or make headcanons but rn this is occupying my brain. This is prolly all silly I’m super tired might delete later but these are my thoughts 🫡

The new Morgan is one of those horses I wasn't sure about at first, but she's really grown on me.

I did some name-swapping, gave her the name Antihero and changed my Belgian from Antihero to Hawkeye. I'd originally named him after my thoroughbred, since that was who he was replacing, but he looks more like an old gen1 Morab I had, named Hawkeye, anyway.

Meanwhile the Morgan has that silver anti-hero hair...

Do you think pokemon are immortal as long as you bring them to pokemon center?

Sadly, no. As early as Gen1, it is established that Pokémon can die since the Pokémon Tower exists in Lavender Town and it's a 7-floors-tall cemetery. Fun fact: my first game as a kid was Silver (Johto and apparently Paldea - unless the DLC will change this - are the only two regions lacking a cemetery area), but my second one was Blue. When I reached Lavender Town I felt sick and traumatized because I had no idea Pokémon could actually die T-T Like yes Gen2 Lavender has a cemetery too but I don't think I had reached the post-game in Silver yet when I started playing Blue.

But I digress.

When Pokémon fight in battles, at least in legally allowed ones, they are never at risk of dying. It's sort of like a contact sport and each battle is like a round, so when the Pokémon faints/is out of energy it simply means they're too tired to keep fighting safely. Pokémon Centers are like an 8-hours-sleep concentrated in a few seconds. Pokémon gain back their energies the same way an athlete does after a match.

Pokémon can be killed, and this is the case for Cubone's mother in the events that preceed your adventure in the Kanto-based games. Team Rocket is plainly stated to have killed Marowak because she tried to protect her baby, which they wanted to steal. Many Pokédex entries also state how some Pokémon may endanger their life or even die under certain circumstances, for instance: • Charmander dies when the flame on the tip of its tail goes out. • Primeape can die of anger - this is referenced in Gen9 with its new evolution Annihilape, which gains the Ghost Type (implying that the player's Primeape actually died upon evolution). • Lapras was said to have become almost extinct due to poaching. However, in Gen7 games it's said that so many regulations were made to preserve this Pokémon that now there is an overabundance of them and waters with too many Lapras face a decreasing population of Fish Pokémon (which are then implied to be eaten by Lapras). • Spoink dies if it stops bouncing, because its heart doesn't beat on its own but is activated by the bouncing movement. • Most Basculin die when attempting to go upstream in rivers (and their souls are absorbed by the one Basculin that makes it, which then evolves into Basculegion).

Fossil Pokémon in general are implied to have died in various Prehistoric ages since they have become fossils and only brought back thanks to science.

It's unclear what the life span of each Pokémon species is, but I guess they're pretty longevous in general, as long as nothing bad happens to them. Also, while it's unclear, maybe most Ghost Pokémon are immortal, especially with cases of Pokémon that the Pokédex describes as being the reincarnated form of something or someone else (ie: Phantump being the souls of children who died of starvation in forests, Yamask being the spirits of dead humans from an ancient civilization, Greavard and Houndstone being the reincarnation of other dead dog Pokémon) ... And, I suppose, some Legendary Pokémon like Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza, Palkia/Dialga/Arceus/Giratina, the Regis, the Galarian Wolves and Calyrex, Diancie, the Tapus, Xerneas/Yveltal/Zygarde, etc ... are immortal. Not all of them though. Some Legendary Pokémon are implied to be considered "Legendary" just because they're extremely rare. Latios and Latias are among those, and Latios canonically died in the Pokémon Heroes movie ...Even though I'd consider the anime and movies only semi-canon and not fully. The Legendary Beasts (Entei, Raikou and Suicune) might be immortal if we're talking specifically about the ones Ho-Oh revived from the Brass Tower, but other Beasts are probably mortal.

the character everyone gets wrong I was going to start this off by saying I couldn't think of anyone, but this is the "choose violence" ask, so I'm going to throw one of my hats into the ring with: A lot of people flanderize Takua into being irresponsible and avoiding work. Now I understand why, there's a bunch of canon evidence for this. For instance, Takua's arc in MoL is basically him getting over the most optional part of the Hero's Journey, the Refusal of the Call. What annoys me about this is how inconsistent it is with his characterization with MNoG. I have a soft spot for MNoG, but the best way I can think of to characterize Takua is that he shirks work that doesn't fit him, but once he finds it, there's no one that takes their job as seriously as he does. He doesn't just record stories, he makes stories. All throughout MNoG he puts himself on the line over and over again, rescuing others and eventually standing up to a whole swarm of Rahi. I think this is getting away from me but tl;dr Takua should never have been characterized as someone who shies away from his responsilibities, and while a lot of this is from the canon, the fanon leans into it way too much 8. common fandom opinion everyone is wrong about I actually like the serials? I can understand why people find them frustrating, but I didn't get into the book series' until well after Gen1 ended, so for me the serials were my main engagement with BIONICLE's story for a while, and I think there's a lot more good ideas in them than not. 21. part of canon you think is overhyped I know this is rich coming from the 2001-2004 fanboy, but I don't really care for 2006's story nearly as much as a lot of people do. It has a lot of good stuff, but the Inika and Piraka just don't sit with me nearly as neatly as the Mata/Nuva and the Metru.

I'm also very much of the opinion that if Bruce is gen1 of heroes, then there's also a like.. generation -1.5, which is -most notably - Wildcat, Dr Fate, Ray I, Black Canary I, and Stripesy. Skyman fits into the -1 generation. There's other heroes here too, but these are the ones that are notable because they have legacies. Nobody cares about Red Bee.

Also time traveling Green Arrow fits in here. Damn you Ollie getting to be in two generations of heroes

((if shea took the slow path with her immortality and returned to sinnoh as it was in dppt, what would she think about it, and how would she compare it to hisui?? what would she do in it, and where would she live?? personally this anon can see her hanging around in floroma town... or maybe shed create the etchings in the rock that's used for the shaymin event?? but thats just their viewpoint))

so i won’t go too much into this yet because i have a big lore post brewing about DPPT because for shea there is a LOT that is changed because shea is part of sinnoh history. there are carvings of a child on ruins that look somewhat like her, there are statues of her that have crumbled due to time, there are hints to her that stem from the hisui period & it reflects on the plot of those games.

that post will go into detail about like i call it my ‘DPPT rewrite’ bc that what it is, its incorporating shea & it’s why i have my cyrus sideblog so that i can split up the divergences from canon easier than just dumping it all here. && also cyrus funnie. anyways i will say that shea def is no stranger to sinnoh. a few years after the events of PLA shea has to leave jubilife village bc she doesn’t age. like physically & basically doesn’t feel comfortable with the whole ass settlement knowing who she is because it could cause issues in the future. she does tell Adaman & Irida though, who are the one’s who basically spread the tale of shea & her exploits to save hisui which then lead to the myth of ‘the child of space-time’. it’s because of the various generations of the diamond & pearl clan that you see all those hints to shea which would lead cyrus to finding out about her etc etc

i do have this post here that goes into detail about her life on the flower paradise & i’ll reblog it after this gets posted too but shea def travels around sinnoh the most. that’s her home, she is proud of hisui/sinnoh & proud to call it her home. she watches it grow into the bustling region it is today. shea just has to be careful to blend into the background so it’s not like someones grandpa sees her and is like I SWORE I SAW U WHEN I WAS 10 or somethin & get caught kjdshfa

basically for a long while shea lives in peace on the flower paradise, travels to sinnoh & various regions very infrequently, but once the modern times of like gen1 onward that is when shea is active again in the world so to speak, going out & basically becoming witness to the new heroes of the world. watching red take down rocket, meeting gold & krys, helping to protect kyogre & groudon etc etc

for the most part shea is just a npc in those tales sans DPPT. she can tell when something is wrong, that dialga & palkia are growing irritable & needs to know why. that there is something stirring with that team galactic, of which gives her a bad vibe considering her days in hisui. to her it feels like history repeating & not in a good way. but i will hopefully have that all up soon im like mad excited to share all of that 8)

as for the etching on the rock outside the flower paradise thAT IS SO CUTE HOLY SHIT i always kinda thought that was something arceus did but giving that more thought it’s such a shea thing to do like to basically use the power of love & gratitude as a means to unlock the pathway toward the flower paradise esp after humanity would find a modern way to get to it. ouwaghhwugh i wanna think more on that i love that so much thank u for that idea holy shit aHHH
