P5R: Rebel Girl (A FeMC Story/P5R Rework) Chapter 174: Tidal Wave
Thursday morning, Sae was making her way to the office. She kept thinking about the dream she had the previous night. What was with that casino? She thought to herself. Why was I dressed like that? Why did it feel…spiteful? She then thought about the scene that followed. And why did I imagine myself and RIko…like that…? She sighed. “It’s just a dream.”
When she got to her office, she saw Riko had already arrived. “Oh, good morning Miss Niijima.”
Sae found it a little difficult to look at Riko without thinking about her dream, but she was used to keeping her emotions in check, so she didn’t let it show. “Good morning Riko.”
“How are you doing?” Riko asked.
“Fine,” Sae answered. She was about to enter her office, but she turned back to Riko. “Say…how often do you go to that sushi place we went to last night?”
“Hm?” Riko looked at her confused. “Um, well, I like to vary up where I go whenever I go out, but usually at least once a month. Why do you ask?”
Sae paused. “I…had a strange dream last night. I was wondering if it was the sushi.”
“Hmmm. I see,” Riko said. “Well, I know that can happen, but it doesn’t usually happen for me.”
“I see…” Sae replied.
“However, I think it might be a combination of the sushi and the recent circumstances. I don’t imagine it’s easy to wait to pursue a case like this.”
“You don’t think I can handle this?” Sae snapped.
“N-Not at all,” Riko said nervously. “But it is not easy.”
“Nothing I do is easy,” Sae explained.
“Right,” Riko said. “But I’m always here for you.”
Sae sighed again. “Maybe you’re right. I’m sorry.”
“Hm hm. It’s OK,” Riko said.
Sae smiled. “Thank you.” She walked back into her office and began to work on some of her cases.
A little while later, there was a knock on her door. “Um, Miss Niijima,” Riko said. “There’s some people here to see you.”
Sae was confused. Still, she put what she was working on down. “Coming!” Sae said. She got up and opened the door. Greeting her alongside Riko were a man and a woman. “Hello. How may I help you?”
“Hi,” the woman said. “We represent child services.”
Sae tensed up. What happened to Makoto? Is she alright?
The woman continued. “We’ve gotten a report that we want your assistance with. It’s about the Sakura residence, and we’ve been told you have some level of familiarity.”
Sae sighed, relieved. She quietly composed herself. “Yes. How may I help?”
“Well, we’ve gotten a report of a disturbance,” the man said. “However, the person who made the report has since rescinded their report.”
“That’s odd,” Sae said.
“Indeed,” the man said.
“Can you give me the details?” Sae asked.
“Certainly,” the man said. “So, as you know, Sojiro Sakura has been taking care of Futaba Sakura, Wakaba Isshiki’s daughter, ever since her mother’s passing.”
“Right,” Sae said.
“And that since April, he has also been taking care of Ren Ammiya while she is on probation,” the man continued. However, Youji Isshiki, Futaba’s uncle, has claimed that Miss Amamiya assaulted him, but later said that that was a lie, and that he was trying to extort Sojiro Sakura. We just want to confirm a few things before we meet with them about all of this.”
“I see,” Sae replied. “Well, I can’t say for sure that Miss Amamiya hasn’t done anything wrong, but I do believe that Youji Isshiki wasn’t giving you the truth about that incident.”
“So, he was trying to extort Mr. Sakura?” the man asked.
Sae nodded. “I don’t see him fit to be a guardian of any kind. But during the proceedings he was initially given custody due to him and Futaba being blood-related. However, Mr. Sakura offered a lot of money for custody of Futaba due to how Youji was treating her.”
“We are aware of that,” the woman said. “We just wanted to check with some people just to be sure.”
“Have you talked with Miss Amamiya’s parole office at all?” Sae asked.
“Well, that’s another weird thing about this situation,” the woman said. “A few days before we got the report, Miss Amamiya’s parole officer filed an ethics complaint against himself.”
“What?” Sae said, confused.
The woman nodded. “He claims to have been visited by The Phantom Thieves and had a change of heart.” Sae glanced away in frustration. “He said he had a bias against Miss Amamiya and couldn’t function as an unbiased parole officer. He’s also had a history of tumultuous behavior in the past, which is coming to light as part of this ethics investigation. Right now, they’re in the process of finding a new parole officer.”
“I see,” Sae said.
“Well, thank you for your time,” the man said. “I imagine you have a lot of work to do.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Sae said. “We have to help each other when it comes to justice, right?”
“Of course,” the woman said, “Thank you again.” The child services agents then proceeded to leave.
On their way out, they ran into Akechi. Almost literally. “Oh, pardon me,” Akechi said, nearly bumping into the man.
“It’s quite alright,” the man said. “Actually, it’s quite serendipitous.”
“Hm?” Akechi wondered.
“We work for child services,” the woman clarified. “Right now we’re investigating a claim about the Sakura household.”
“I see,” Akechi said.
“We’ve been told by her former parole officer that you have been keeping tabs on Ren Amamiya,” the man explained.
“That’s correct,” Akechi said. “Hold on, former?”
The woman nodded. “He turned himself over for an ethics investigation.”
“Huh,” Akechi said, stunned. He smirked. “I see. To be honest, I had some reservations about him, but I couldn’t just say that to his face now, could I?”
“I see,” the woman said. “He did say he was biased towards her. Plus he has a few other issues from what I understand.”
“I see,” Akechi replied.
“However,” the man interjected, “we’ve received an independent report that Ren had assaulted someone.”
“Oh my,” Akechi said, stunned.
“However, the person making the report admitted to fabricating it,” the man continued.
“Oh. I see,” Akechi said. “That’s a little unusual.”
“Well, we wanted to ask you about how you think Ren is taking to her parole,” the woman asked. “We want to be prepared for everything.”
“Hm. I see,” Akechi said. “Well, from my personal interactions with her, she seems to be following her parole guidelines to a T. She’s not causing a commotion, she’s making friends, she’s going to school, frankly she’s a model teenager.”
“I see,” the man said. “Thank you for your time.”
“Of course,” Akechi said. “Thank you for working so diligently.” Akechi nodded at them, and they nodded back. They then walked past each other; the child services agent out the door, and Akechi to Sae’s office.
Akechi approached Riko’s desk. “Good morning,” Akechi said.
Riko looked up. “Good morning.”
“Is Miss Niijima busy?” Akechi asked.
“I’m sure she can make time,” Riko said. “It wouldn’t be her first interruption.” She got up and knocked on Sae’s door. “Miss Niijima, Detective Akechi is here to see you!”
Sae was a little shaken, but did feel like she could use the company. “Let him in,” she called.
The door opened, and Akechi walked in. “Good morning,” he greeted.
“Good morning,” Sae replied.
“I just wanted to check in on things here,” Akechi said. “After what happened Tuesday night, I imagine you must be incredibly busy.”
“Quite the opposite,” Sae said, upset.
“Hm?” Akechi pondered. “But aren’t you heading up the investigation?”
Sae glared at him. She sighed. “Because of the accusations against the director, an independent team has to look over the evidence to make sure he didn’t taint it in some way.”
“Oh my!” Akechi said, shocked.
Sae nodded. “I’m still keeping busy though. It’s not like I don’t have other cases to work on.”
“Of course, but I know you,” Akechi said. “I know that you were really invested in this case.”
“Aren’t you?!” Sae snapped. “I mean, something like this doesn’t happen every day! It's destroying the lives of thousands, if not millions of people! I want to put an end to it as soon as possible, but I’m stuck waiting for a bunch of red tape to clear out!”
Akechi was shook by Sae’s reply. “Well… I can’t say I don’t understand your frustration. However, we are closer than we’ve ever been. We have a suspect, we have someone with knowledge of how things work behind bars, we know this case in and out. I’m sure we will close this case.”
“Will we?” Sae responded. “Because last time I checked, we only got this far because of The Phantom Thieves and their constant meddling. My investigation hasn’t even done a fraction of work compared to them. We’re still in the dark about a lot, and this delay is only serving to muddy the waters. Honestly, do you really think that this ‘pause’ is anything but Director Ono trying to sideline me and consolidate his position?”
“Hm,” Akechi smirked. “So that’s what you think. If that’s the case, why not reach out to The Phantom Thieves and ask for their assistance?”
Sae’s eyes widened. “What?”
“I’m just saying, if you’re bogged down by the director stifling your every move, why not talk with someone who can operate outside of that ‘red tape’,” Akechi suggested.
“They could still be in on it,” Sae countered.
“Really?” Akechi responded. “At this point you still believe that?”
“There’s a connection there,” Sae said. “I’m sure of it!”
“Even if there is a connection, which I agree is likely,” Akechi countered, “it seems ludicrous at this point to believe that The Phantom Thieves are working with the director. I mean, they took down Okumura and got him to confess. That doesn’t sound like them and the director are on the same page.”
“You say this like anything about this case is logical,” Sae retorted. “Besides, even if they aren’t, we still don’t know what their endgame is. Do you really want to trust them to help out and that be it?”
“Well, I know that sometimes the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” Akechi replied. “It is healthy to keep them at arm’s length, but what have they done so far that suggests that they are unleashing a grand plan to take over Japan? All they’ve done is take down criminals, or at least people with questionable morals.”
“I can’t believe you’re buying into their rhetoric,” Sae said.
“I don’t entirely buy into it,” Akechi said. “But between them and the person who is, as you put it, ‘destroying the lives of thousands, if not millions of people,’ I know who I’d side with.”
“I thought you were about justice,” Sae responded.
“I am,” Akechi replied. “But I’m also a pragmatist. If we can use criminals to catch other criminals, then why shouldn’t we?”
“Because they’re criminals,” Sae answered.
Akechi grew serious. “I see. It appears we are at an impasse.” He stood up. “Well despite our differences, I’ll still be happy to work with you. I am going to continue my investigation, and I will do it in a way I can be proud of.” He turned around. “You know, with or without you, the director is making his next moves. With or without you, The Phantom Thieves are making their next moves. Whatever you do is up to you, but at some point you have to realize that some things are too big for you to handle alone.” He opened the door. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have plans this afternoon.” Akechi walked out, closing the door.
Sae glared at where Akechi was. “Hm. You think I can’t handle things on my own? You’re forgetting one thing. I’ve been forged in the fires of loss, prejudice, and sacrifice. And I will NOT let ANYONE ELSE walk through that fire. Understand?” After a moment, she went back to working on one of her cases.
After school, Ren, Morgana, Ann, Ryuji, Jose, Yusuke, Makoto, Lena, Futaba, Haru, Shiho, Mishima, Hifumi, and Kisa had gathered at the train station to head to the stadium for Sumire’s meet. Hifumi sighed. “Honestly, this couldn’t have come at a better time,” she admitted. “With everything that’s happened recently, it’s nice to just take a step back and not have to worry about things, even if only for an afternoon.”
“I understand what you mean,” Haru said.
“Oh!” Hifumi said. “Sorry, I don’t mean-”
“It’s alright,” Haru said. “Just because my father went to jail, doesn’t mean others can’t suffer.”
“I see,” Hifumi said. She bowed. “Thank you.”
Haru chuckled. “You know, when Ren-chan told me that you’d be coming as well, I was a little surprised. But speaking with you now has been pleasant.”
Hifumi nodded. “Likewise.”
“Is this everyone?” Kisa asked.
“Mostly,” Makoto said. “We’re still waiting on one more person I believe.”
“Oh, I talked with Goro earlier,” Lena replied. “He said he’d meet us at the stadium.”
“I see…” Makoto said. “Well then, I think we’re ready to go.”
“Hold it!” belted a different voice. They looked over to see Hiroki.
“Hiroki?!” Haru said, surprised.
Hirki sighed. “Do…you mind if I come too?”
“Well…we’d be delighted, obviously,” Makoto said, stammering. “But…”
“How did you find us?” Kisa asked.
“Well, I knew what you were doing,” Hiroki said. “Haru and I would talk about it from time to time. But I couldn’t go because…”
“Because we were trying to keep our wealth a secret from each other,” Haru finished. “But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you shouldn’t have to keep secrets from the people you’re closest to. If I hadn’t, well…this whole mess could have been avoided.”
Hiroki smiled slightly. “What’s done is done. I can’t say that…I am proud of what happened, but hopeful I can move on.”
“Trust me, you will,” Shiho said. Hiroki chuckled.
“I don’t think any of us dislike you,” Haru assured. “Besides, I’m going to need you now more than ever, so…I’m glad you weren’t lost in the shuffle as well.”
“Hm,” Hiroki siad, grinning. “It still feels a little odd getting back to where things used to be, but this is a nice start.”
“Hold on,” Ren interjected. “Do you want to?”
Hiroki and Haru seem puzzled.”I…don’t follow…” Hiroki said.
“I think I do,” Haru said. “I think she’s saying that going back might not be the best. Rather, we must move forward.”
Hiroki was impressed. “Huh. You know, I get it. I liked what we had, but with or without this episode, something would have to give in order to deepen our relationship.”
“Exactly!” Haru cheered. Ren smiled. “Well then, shall we go now?”
“Of course,” Yusuke said. “Let’s hurry.”
“Right!” Lena added. “We can’t keep Goro waiting!” The group then boarded the train and headed to the stadium.
Just outside, they spotted Akechi. He spotted them soon after and waved them over. Lena leapt in for a hug. “Goro!”
“Ah!’ Akechi replied, not quite expecting that, but reciprocated all the same. “Salutations.” They let go, and Akechi noticed the large group. “My, this is a lot of people.”
“You’ve got a problem with that?” Mishima asked.
“Yuuki!” Shiho said, slapping him
Akechi just smiled. “No. Quite the opposite in fact. I’m alone a lot of the time, so being a part of a bigger group is nice.” He turned to Lena. “So, are you close with all of these people?”
“Oh, uh, well,” Lena said, flustered.
“Not all of them,” Ren interjected. “There’s some friends of friends stuff going on. I…like inviting a lot of people. I can’t help it, I get so excited.”
“Well of course,” Akechi said. “After all, your girlfriend is performing.”
“Girlfriend?” Hiroki said, confused.
Akechi was stunned. “Oh my. My apologies, I thought everyone here knew.”
“Well, I mean, it’s fine,” Ren replied. “Right?”
Haru turned to Hiroki. “Is it not?”
Hiroki was stunned. “I mean, of course it is. I just didn’t know.”
“Well, I am on parole,” Ren explained. “I don’t like painting unnecessary targets on my back.”
“No, I getcha, I getcha,” Hiroki replied. “I imagine it’d be hard if you had just moved, but the arrest on top of that.”
“Are we just revealing all your secrets?” Akechi asked.
Ren chuckled. “I mean, they're my friends.”
“Hm hm. Of course,” Akechi replied. “Now then, I think we should get going.”
Haru nodded. “Follow me.” The group proceeded to follow Haru.
Once they arrived at Haru’s box seat, Akechi seemed impressed. “Wow. I didn’t expect to get this kind of seating.”
“I know, right?” Ryuji said.
"It's incredible!" Jose said.
“This is our first time up here as well,” Makoto informed him.
“It is really nice though,” Kisa stated.
“Totally!” Ann said. “You can see the whole floor from here!”
“Hm hm,” Haru giggled. “We should get ready. The performance is about to begin.”
“Of course,” Ren said. The group organized themselves to watch the performance.
One by one, the performers began performing. Sumire was waiting in the wings in anticipation; her heart going a mile a minute. A manager came up to her and said “Alright Miss Yoshizawa, you’re on deck.”
Sumire bowed. “Thank you.” The manager left. Sumire took a deep breath.
“Nervous?” said a voice. Sumire was stunned. She looked over to see the image of her sister.
Sumire smiled nervously. “Always.”
Kasumi smiled back. “Well, I know you’ll do great.”
Sumire smiled more sincerely. “Thanks.”
“Hm hm. Of course,” Kasumi replied. “It’s what sisters do.”
“Right,” Sumire replied. She paused. “Listen…I’m sorry.”
“About the accident?” Kasumi wondered. “It wasn’t your fault.”
“Thanks, but that’s not what I mean,” Sumire said. “Not entirely.”
“Then what do you mean?” Kasumi asked.
Sumire paused for a moment. “I’m…sorry I kept trying to chase you. To try and be you. I was...just so scared of what being me was that…I tried running from it.” She gripped her fist. “But now, with Ren, with everyone, I feel more like myself than I have in a long time.”
“So, does this mean you’re done with me?” Kasumi asked.
Sumire rolled her eyes. “Look at who you’re talking to here. The difference now is that I’m not going to use you as a crutch. But I can’t give you up. We’re sisters. We’re twins. We’re partners. We’re friends. I know you’re gone, but we're still connected. And I’ll hold onto that connection until the day I join you where you are.”
“Hm,” Kasumi said, marveling at Sumire’s confidence. “That’s all I needed to hear.”
“Miss Yoshizawa,” the manager said, walking back. “You’re on!”
Sumire bowed again. “Thank you.” She walks forward, leaving an empty space behind.
Once Sumire entered, she looked around. She found her friends up in the box seat, smiled, nodded, and gave her performance. She performed with vigor, exuding confidence and grace, missing not a single step. The crowd was in awe, none more than her girlfriend, and as Sumire continued with her performance, she felt lost to the movement. For the first time in a long time, she wasn’t doing gymnastics for anyone but herself. However, she knew that in no way was she alone.
Once she finished, there was a stunned silence before everyone cheered. The thunderous applause delighted her. She waved to the crowd, and then looked over and saw her friends. Despite the cheers, she could tell that they enjoyed the performance more than anyone else. She gave the crowd a bow, and headed out.
After the meet was over, everyone came out to congratulate Sumire. “WOOOOOO!” Ryuji shouted. “That was EXCELLENT!”
“That was TOTALLY amazing!” Ann said.
“You were phenomenal,” Shiho said.
“That was so COOL!” Mishima said.
“What an amazing performance,” Haru said.
“I almost can’t believe you did all that,” Hiroki said, still stunned.
“Of course!” Kisa said. “She’s the best!”
“You really were spectacular,” Makoto said.
“I agree,” Yusuke said. “I was compelled to sketch, but felt like I could not tear my eyes away for even a second!”
"It really was incredible!” Jose said.
“You really are a master of your work,” Hifumi said.
“What a spectacle!” Futaba cheered.
“You did SO well!” Lena said.
“I agree,” Akechi said “A vast improvement since I’ve last seen you.”
“Nya ha ha,” Morgana said. “That was AMAZING!”
Ren gently took Sumire’s hand. Sumire looked over, and the two of them were blushing. “...You did incredibly well. I…I loved every millisecond of it.”
Sumire’s blush grew slightly. “...Thanks.” There was a second of silence before the two shared a kiss.
A few seconds after they stopped, Sumire’s phone went off. She checked it. “Eh heh. Sorry to cut this short, but my dad’s waiting for me.” She rushed out. “Bye!” she waved. Everyone waved back, chanting their goodbyes. Once Sumire disappeared, Ren nodded, and she and everyone else headed out as well.
In the car, Sumire’s parents were congratulating her. “Sumire, that was EXCELLENT!” Akane said.
“You were shining!” Shinich said. “I haven’t seen you like that since…since…well, you know.”
Sumire smiled, though it was a little sad. “Yeah. But it’s not in spite of Kasumi not being there.” She looked over to see her twin sitting next to her. “It’s because she was.”
Her parents teared up. “Of course,” Shinichi said.
“Well said,” Akane added.
“Let’s go home,” Shinichi instructed. The family headed home for the evening.

Ok ok so I'd been idly thinking about updating "Chats with Joker in Mementos" for Royal for a while, except as far as I know there aren't any transcriptions for the Royal Mementos chats like there is for Vanilla...
So...after some questionable use of my time, I now have a list of a good chunk of the starters in Royal. Only starters, not responses, since the point of the fic is having Joker be the one to respond, and I didn't transcribe ones I didn't think would be interesting for him to respond to, but still, if anyone does ever look to do a complete transcription, this might be helpful as a start? Or just interesting if you want to see what some characters talk about. Spoilers for third semester below cut.
Ryuji: Man, we really bust our asses to get stronger in here. I wish it meant we got stronger in the real world too.
Ryuji: Man, I had this horrible dream last night… Can’t remember a thing about it, though.
Ryuji: Ya know what? I guess Mona does have a mask, technically.
Ryuji: Yo, the way he jumps behind Shadows is so sick!
Ryuji: Yo, is it just me, or is fallin’ asleep getting tougher every night? At this point, I’m outta ideas of what to do.
Ryuji: Kinda fiendin’ for some ramen right about now… Maybe I’ll hit up Ogikubo when we get back.
RyujI: So lately, I’ve been tryin’ to work some training into my nightly routine before bed.
Ryuji: Hey, is it just me, or is Morgana’s sword basically the same size as Joker’s knife?
Ryuji: My mom made gyudon last night! My fave! Now I’ve got, like, fifty times more energy than usual!
Ryuji: This phantom thief stuff feels real as hell whenever he’s flyin’ around with that grappling hook.
Ryuji: Dude, that grappling hook is awesome! He looks like a freakin’ superhero with that thing!
Ryuji: Aww man, I just can’t get enough of those Akihabara maids…
Ryuji: Aren’t knives kinda hard to use ‘cause of their shortness? I definitely prefer my own shit.
Ryuji: I always thought darts looked easy—just aim for the board, y’know? But, it’s waaay harder than that.
Ryuji: Every try the monja in Tsukishima? That stuff is LEGIT.
Ryuji: Yo, does this outfit really make me look like I’m part of some biker gang?
-
Morgana: Listen, it’s not that I look like a cat. Cats just happen to look like me.
Morgana: I repeat: I am not a cat. To prove it, I took an actual bath yesterday.
Morgana: So, cats love to chase mice, right? I don’t get it—where’s the fun in that?
Morgana: I’m always so entranced by Panther’s whip technique!
Morgana: Panther, we have matching tails!
Morgana: You know, I’ve never actually been in a car before. Is it anything like I am now?
Morgana: I definitely made the right decision giving him the code name “Joker.”
Morgana: I’m willing to bet Joker’s skilled enough to use throwing knives.
Morgana: Anime, books, movies… Phantom thieves sure are popular.
Morgana: Last night I dreamt that Phantom Thieves were kicking some serious butt—let’s bring that dream to life!
Morgana: I can teach you everything you need to know about being a phantom thief. Relax—you’re in good hands!
Morgana: *yawn* I didn’t get enough sleep…
Morgana: I couldn’t fall asleep at all last night. I just laid there with my eyes open…
Morgana: I like Yongen-Jaya; it’s a great place for a stroll.
Morgana: Is Shujin Academy the only thing in Aoyama?
Morgana: I was vegetating in front of the TV last night, and I have to say, there are some pretty decent shows on now.
-
Ann: The bakery had a sale yesterday and I ended up buying everything they had!
Ann: The Ferris wheel is a must for me at theme parks, every time. I love being able to just relax.
Ann: I have an upcoming shoot at a theme park, but what sucks is how I can’t go on any of the rides.
Ann: Last night I dreamt I was eating a chocolate bar, then all of a sudden, it got mad and started chasing me!
Ann: Every once in a while I have a dream where I get chased by a Shadow…
Ann: I’ve been sleeping really well since I started getting all this exercise.
Ann: I was up late watching TV last night, so I might be a little sleep deprived…
Ann: I tend to do my clothes shopping in Kichijoji—it’s fun looking through all the resale shops.
Ann: I hate when people ask me to say stuff in English just ‘cause I lived overseas.
Ann: It always bothers me when foreign movie subtitles leave stuff out or take too many liberties.
Ann: I was talking to my overseas friend the other day—her straightforward attitude was really refreshing!
Ann: I was talking to Shiho on the phone and before I knew it, three whole hours had passed!
Ann: Joker seems like he’d make a good cook, doesn’t he? I mean, he’s great with his knife and all…
Ann: It’s actually quite exhilarating to attack with a whip. I wonder why that is…
Ann: Whenever my foreign relatives come to Japan, they always rave about how much they love Japanese food!
Ann: Do you think there’s anything I can do about my outfit? I feel like I stand out too much in this…
Ann: Is there a difference between a whip and a grappling hook?
Ann: Ya know, Skull’s always been into skull designs and stuff.
Ann: Wouldn’t a grappling hook be awfully handy in the real world?
-
Yusuke: I wish to paint the world as only I see it. The best way to succeed at this is through practice.
Yusuke: It’s fun to walk around and inspect different temples and shrines. The architecture is always impressive.
Yusuke: If Shadows are sentient, do you think their being moved by a painting would invoke a change of heart?
Yusuke: There have been times where I was compelled to create three-dimensional art.
Yusuke: I’m quite curious about Mona’s Western-style sword…
Yusuke: I hear whips are quite difficult to use. Where did you learn how to wield one?
Yusuke: Joker using a grappling hook…. That would make for a picture-perfect composition.
Yusuke: Mona, what exactly do you have in those pouches?
Yusuke: Creating a piece of art is pointless unless I can convey the full essence of the subject.
Yusuke: Art museums stimulate my creativity like no other place—I wish I could live inside one.
Yusuke: Skull and I both use long melee weapons, but they’re total opposites of one another.
Yusuke: Why does my outfit have a tail? I don’t understand…
Yusuke: I considered growing my own bean sprouts, but it seems to be more expensive than buying them grown.
Yusuke: I once had a dream that I washed up on a deserted island. I painted as much as I pleased… So wonderful.
Yusuke: I may specialize in Japanese-style painting, but I’d like to learn some Western techniques as well.
Yusuke: That grappling hook is very useful. I should find a way to utilize one in my daily life.
Yusuke: The other day, I went into the mountains to gather vegetables so I could cut back on food expenses.
Yusuke: I tried to paint a landscape of the starry sky once, but it’s quite difficult to do so from within the city.
Yusuke: India ink isn’t my specialty, but I’ve been experimenting with it in some recent work, just for fun.
-
Makoto: I may have stopped being a doormat for adults, but people are still calling me a “teacher’s pet.”
Makoto: A phantom thief’s body is their most vital asset. We need to make sure we eat balanced, nutritious meals.
Makoto: Do you enjoy visiting theme parks? I’ve rarely been to one myself.
Makoto: Fox looks cooler using his katana than I had originally imagined.
Makoto: I had the weirdest dream… I was at school, but I was wearing my phantom thief outfit.
Makoto: Would anyone care to learn how to drive, while we’re here? This place seems as good as any for practice.
Makoto: I know it’s not very healthy, but I do enjoy eating ramen from time to time.
Makoto: Once I’ve graduated, I’m going to buy a motorcycle and go on a road trip.
Makoto: I’ve been working on my grades because I still want to attend college, despite being a phantom thief.
Makoto: I want to read a certain book, but it’s out of print. Where do you suppose I could find a copy?
Makoto: Maybe I’m just burned out, but waking up has grown awfully difficult lately.
Makoto: The grappling hook’s cable seems pretty strong, but it’s scary to think what could happen if it snapped.
Makoto: Once my sister brought home some sushi for me. It was indescribably good…
-
Futaba: I heard rhythm’s an important part of fighting, sooo… I started playing a rhythm game!
Futaba: There’s going to be an event tonight in the MMO I play. I can’t wait!
Futaba: This MMO I’m hooked on is really cool. Do you wanna play with me? Oh—it’s in English, though.
Futaba: I’m about to beat the game I’ve been playing. Wonder what I should play next?
Futaba: I’ve been going outside a lot more, so now I’m sleeping way better than I did when I was a shut-in.
Futaba: Guess what? I’m making a game called “Hungry Hungry Mona”!
Futaba: You know who’s a really good driver, is Sojiro. He can parallel park with his eyes closed!
Futaba: If you could shoot grappling hooks from your hands, you’d probably be able to get around just using those!
Futaba: Ya know, I’ve thought about workin’ out and fighting alongside you guys.
Futaba: You guys should try playing shooters! It could help you improve your gun skills.
Futaba: Last night I had a dream my hard drive failed… That was scary.
Futaba: Wouldn’t it be cool if you could mod the grappling hook so it was electrified?
Futaba: Sure, the internet’s convenient, but it’s not like it can do everything. Don’t overestimate its capabilities.
Futaba: I wonder if I’d be okay going to some place by myself if it wasn’t crowded. Inokashira Park seems nice.
Futaba: Yesterday Sojiro bought me my favorite instant yakisoba!
Futaba: Maybe I should get a gun too, just for self-defense… Nah, my hands need to be empty.
-
Haru: I found this cafe in Kichioji with phenomenal tea—would you care to try it sometime?
Haru: I ordered kusaya but they refused to make it—they said they couldn’t get the smell out of the kitchen.
Haru: I feel like I need to learn more about the world, but I’m not sure how to best go about it.
Haru: Recently, I’ve been finding rare delicacies rather enticing…
Haru: Even lately, I sometimes dream about doing phantom thief things with Mona.
Haru: If you’re having trouble getting yourself to relax, I recommend herbal tea.
Haru: Asakusa is a wonderful area—I love how it’s this blend of the old and the new.
Haru: Ever since I started high school I’ve been taking the train in the morning, but I’m still not used to it…
Haru: Queen, your mask looks like it’s made of iron. Doesn’t it get heavy?
Haru: Joker’s so acrobatic! He’s really got the hang of that grappling hook.
Haru: I don’t think I’ve gotten this much exercise since I was in ballet.
Haru: Let me know if you ever get a tear in your clothing—I’m good at sewing, so I could most likely fix it.
Haru: I dreamt that the vegetables I’d been growing all died… I was so sad.
Haru: Your weapon seems fun, Skull. Do you want to swap sometime?
Haru: Sometimes it’s impossible for me to fall asleep on days that we’ve been to Palaces, no matter how tired I am.
Haru: You know, before this, I’d never considered using an axe for anything other than chopping firewood…
Haru: My hands have gotten all calloused… I supposed it comes with the territory in gardening.
-
Akechi: I have no intention of changing my stance on matters, no matter what anyone may say.
Akechi: Pancakes... I don’t want to hear that word again for a long, long time.
Akechi: We don’t have much time left. Please do what you can to avoid getting sick.
Akechi: The enemies are stronger than ever. Don’t let your guard down.
Akechi: A world that panders to your every whim is so mundane. Where’s the thrill if there’s no competition?
Akechi: Do you prefer my previous outfit or this one? Moving around’s become much easier for me.
Akechi: This place is immense. If there weren’t train tracks everywhere, I’d bring my bike here.
Akechi: We’re working under the constraints of a time limit, so I’d appreciate it if you could be more efficient.
Akechi: If you’re looking for a way to train both your mind and your body, I highly recommend bouldering.
Akechi: You think I’m frightening when I fight? Well, I’m afraid you’re just going to have to accept it.
Akechi: I meant to tell you, regarding Shido… Thank you for keeping your promise.
Akechi: You may not like working with me, but I’m counting on your assistance until our goal is achieved.
Akechi: When we’re riding in the car like this, it’s easy to forget that we’re actually inside Mona.
Akechi: The Shadows here behave differently from the ones in the Palaces, don’t they?
Akechi: I’m getting a bit hungry. I should’ve eaten beforehand.
Akechi: I enjoy spending time in Kichijoji. It’s not very big, but there are plenty of trendy shops.
Akechi: Riding in the car may beat walking, but it doesn’t stop my legs from growing stiff and sore…
-
Sumire: I have a few different superstitions for good luck in my routines… They get sort of hard to drop.
Sumire: It was already hard for me to believe Palaces existed, but to think there’s such a massive one under Shibuya…
Sumire: It’s a bit cramped in here with this many people…
Sumire: I get stiff all over from just sitting in the car.
Sumire: Why is the one desert you get to eat during the week so delicious?
Sumire: A phantom thief outfit represents a person’s image of their rebellion, right?
Sumire: I wonder if I should try incorporating another sport into my gymnastics training.
Sumire: I wonder what I could use as inspiration for my performances…
Sumire: Swords are actually pretty hard to wield.
Sumire: Whenever I travel, I always end up buying some sort of good luck charm.
Sumire: Your outfits are all so unique. I can see coordinating them wasn’t a priority.
Sumire: This time of year, a heating pad’s an absolute must for keeping warm.
Sumire: Sometimes people will just walk up to me and ask me to show them a standing split.
Sumire: I’m in top shape today! Let’s keep going.
Sumire: Do you all stretch beforehand? You could pull a muscle if you don’t.
Sumire: It’s too bad gymnastics competitions aren’t on TV more often.
Sumire: Fighting makes for a pretty good workout, doesn’t it?
-
while I didn't transcribe responses, I did notice something a bit disappointing: neither Sumire nor Akechi seemed to have responses for anyone else. It's possible I missed one?? But not being able to remember any, they must not have many if they do have some. A bit odd.

Akira: It's time.
Ryuji: To take out some criminals? Hell yeah!
Ann: For some delicious crepes!?! You're paying?(๑> ₃ <)۶♥
Makoto: To study for our test next week, correct?
Futaba: To D-D-DDDueeeel!! ψ( ` ∇ ´ )ψ
Yusuke: Ah, to compose my newest piece regarding the metaphysical concept of time. I am in need of extra change for the train fare.
Haru: Oh, to harvest my carrots! Thank you for reminding me.
Morgana: For sleep!
Akira: Whoops accidentally texted the group chat. Ignore that. Meeting up with Akechi, ttyl.
Ann: 👀
Ryuji: Wtf man, you put off our workout plans this afternoon for that loser?
Futaba: To be fair, anyone would put off their plans of hanging out with you. Mwehehe.
Sumire: Sorry I read the messages late! Oh, I didn't realize how close Akira-senpai was with Akechi-san. I would be happy to join your workout sessions Sakamoto-kun!
Ann: No need to be so formal Sumire! You can drop the honorifics with us~
Ryuji: See! At least one person here cares about me!
Haru: What did you mean by how close they were Sumire?
Ann: Oooh yes, tell us the hot deets!
Sumire: Oh, uhm. I don't mean to gossip. I shouldn't say anything without clearing it with senpai first.
Yusuke: I was roaming the streets searching for fallen change and stumbled upon quite a surprising site. I would title this piece: "Caught with the Red Hands."
Futaba: English pls Inari!!!
Sumire: Hehe, we must be pretty close to each other Yusuke-san. I mean Yusuke. We can meet up and I'll pay for your train fare!
Yusuke: Truly an angel, I am forever in your debt.
Ann: Can someone please tell me what's going on? The suspense is killing me.
Yusuke: I saw Akira lay his hand on Akechi.
Ryuji: Okay, now I'm not even that mad. Could have told me bro!
Ann: Wowowowow. What??
Haru: Oh no, fighting is bad! You should stop them.
Futaba: I place bets on Akira!! Go get em'! Whop! Whoop!
Makoto: Ugh, I can feel a headache coming.
Sumire: If I may clarify, what Yusuke meant to say was that Akira was holding hands with Akechi.
Ann: 👀 I knew it! You owe me a crepe Ryuji!! They are totally dating!
Ryuji: What the hell man, look what you cost me.
Futaba: Betting without me? LAME!! I totally knew they were dating long before today. They were making out in the attic the other night!!
Haru: Oh, my.
Akira: Well this is awkward.
Ann: HE SPEAKS!
Sumire: Congratulations senpai! I'm happy for you two <3
Akira: Yeah I'm dating Akechi. I was just waiting for the right time to tell you all. Ah, got to go, Akechi is glaring a hole into my skull. If you don't see me in three days, all my assets go to Morgana
Morgana: I deserve quality sushi for keeping this a secret for so long!
Futaba: Mona keeping a secret 👀 Who are you and what have you done with the real Mona????
Makoto: I've been wondering this for a while now...but how is Mona typing?
Futaba: Speech-to-text, custom coded by moi
Haru: How does it convert the meows into words?
Futaba: Magic! Not really. I just connected it to the metaverse app which converted them to human words. Weird how that works.
Yusuke: Does this app work on other cats in the human world?
Futaba: !!! I never considered that!
Makoto: I'm going to head out guys. I have to get some studying done.
Makoto logged off.
Ann: Me too! Ttyl!
Ann logged off.
Haru: Good-bye everyone, good luck on your date Akira!
Haru logged off.
Ryuji: Ugh, I gotta go get some groceries for my mom. Cya!
Ryuji logged off.
Futaba: Eww normies. I'm guessing Inari must be mooching off Sumire for dinner now. Time to go make some popcorn and watch some exclusive CCTV footage of those lovesick dorks. Bye!
Futaba logged off.

Pit and some of the other kids gather around into a circle.
Pit: Oh great Oracle! Bless us with thy powerful knowledge!
Ness: We have come offering gifts, in hopes it may appease you! …Guys, what’d we bring?
Blue: Let’s see…we got some sushi, some ramen….some electronics from the store Joker told us about….what else?
Bowser Jr: $50.
Blue: Twenty bucks…oh, and a message from Kirby. (Holds Kirby up)
Kirby: Poyo!
Futaba: I see…your offerings please me. I shall grant you your knowledge.
Futaba comes out of her room, wearing her hoodie. A wave of mystical smoke pours out of her room.
Everyone: (Gasps)
Futaba: Heed my words well. Only a fool predetermines the character of another without knowing who they are. Only an idiot pretends as if everyone is going to be a saint. Therefore, there are many things you must put to action.
Pit: Oh great Alibaba, what is the task we must undergo?
Futaba: Have an open heart for other people! Get to know them before casting judgement! Remain wise throughout your years! And most of all….
Futaba: Read manga!!
Everyone: (Gasps)
Futaba: I have given thou my knowledge. Farewell.
Futaba takes the items and enters her room, closing the door. She then reopens it and picks up Kirby, then goes back in her room.

Here's a Ryuji and Ryukoto appreciation post! (super long post but it's worth it)
One big problem (that everyone has already noticed, it's nothing new) is that the writers aren't really good at writing a good friendship between Ryuji and the other members of the phantom thieves.
While many say that his place in the group is used as a "comic relief", (which btw doesn't work because we feel bad for him), I also think that they're trying to make a fun friendship. Kinda like when you and your friends call yourselves "hoes" and "stupid bitches" but obviously don't mean it and it's just a joke, an affectionate way to say "I feel comfortable enough with you to say dumb shit".
However in Ryuji's case it doesn't work because not only does it go in only one way (the phantom thieves towards Ryuji but never Ryuji towards them... except maybe for Morgana but they're just quarreling) but also because Ryuji doesn't like it and doesn't take it as a joke.
The biggest example of him being mistreated was when he literally saves everyone's ass only to get beat up afterward while we know very well from his confidant that his father used to beat him and his mom, also his legs got broken by Kamoshida. The saddest thing is that he's not even trying to be dramatic about it.
He's just like "uh... yeah. My dad used to beat me up and my mom but whatever, I'm past that" while we get hours and hours of Futaba's palace showing us that "oh no her mom is dead those adults suck". No offense in any way to Futaba btw, I like her and there's nothing wrong with her arc but I just find that sad how while we got a whole big ass backstory for her troubles Ryuji's abuse gets downplayed the whole game and made fun of.
O-kaaaaay let's move on to the main point: Ryukoto.
This is something that seemed really obvious to me and I'm surprised that there's not many people talking about it. This ship has SO much potential if done right. (Emphasis on DONE RIGHT.)
I know it's super cliche because Makoto is supposed to be the typical "super intelligent girl with a badass side" and Ryuji the "lovable and reckless idiot" so this type of ship is overdone everywhere. Movies, games, TV series, manga, books, etc. I know.
But did any of you realize that both of them have many similarities?
For example, their troubles getting "downplayed". Like I said earlier Ryuji was abused by his dad but we never hear any more than that and in Makoto's case there's something similar happening. We know that her mom died when she was really young and then her dad but she never makes a big deal out of it just like Ryuji. I guess they didn't feel the need to add anything to that narrative because we already have many characters in persona who don't have/lost their parents (Futaba, Yusuke, Akechi, Haru, etc.) However there's something else happening, it's about Sae.
Remember that one scene where Sae just randomly started yelling at Makoto and telling her that she's useless, that she should "aknowledge their situation" and that she "eats away at her life". If it happend once what makes you think that it doesn't happen regularly? Afterward Sae realizes that she effed up, apologizes and says that from now on she'll eat outside which makes me think that this is not the first time this kind of thing happens. Makoto's reaction also comfirms it at the beginning when she wants to bring up their dad but knows clearly what can happen when she does.
Sae is obviously having a lot of stress due to the fact that she's now suddenly the "adult of the house" and she has to bring enough money home for both of them not to mention that Makoto has yet to get into a college (which can be really pricey). So it's understandable that Sae feels on edge and knows that she shouldn't say things like that. But even if she doesn't mean it she's still her sister and her words hurt. I'm hesitating on calling this a borderline verbal abuse situation because we don't have enough evidence for that (and also because many love Sae and I'll get my ass fried if I say anything bad about her, no worries though. I do think that she's an interesting character.)
So let's continue.
Then the whole time Makoto is teary eyed and silent which once. Again. Makes me think that this is absolutely not the first time this happens. Afterward we see Makoto's desperate attempts at trying to be useful to the phantom thieves and make a place for herself where there isn't. Both Ryuji and Makoto don't think highly of themselves, Ryuji thinks that he's a burden to his mother and Makoto to her sister. And so they always throw their lives away/put themsleves in great danger, Makoto when she goes with those strangers in a car to meet Kaneshiro and Ryuji when he stops a taxi by jumping on the road, or the time at Shido's palace when he saves everyone (the scene after that when he gets beat up is still super yikes like wtf do you think you're doing atlus??)
One thing that I always liked about her (that many don't) is that the palace in which she awakens doesn't have "much to do with her" compared to the others. But that's why it's great. Many say it would've been better if the palace was the headmaster's palace instead of "that random mafia guy" however I disagree. The build up to this moment always seems so obvious to me that it surprises me that a lot of people don't see the connection.
The whole build up before her awakening is all the people around her treating her like garbage and using her because she's the goody-two-shoes student council president who apparently only cares about a letter of recommendation and only does all those good things to get praise while we're proven wrong again and again. Does she want a letter of recommendation? Of course. It would be easier to get into a good college and help her sister financially since apparently if you have a letter of recommendation some colleges in Japan will take you for free (if I'm not wrong, I might be saying bullcrap so don't quote me on that). But is she mainly doing this for the letter? No. She does it because it's the right thing to do. She could've easily let those students in debt and tell the headmaster who the phantom thieves are but instead she prioritizes the students of her school.
And that's where all of this comes in: Kaneshiro DOES actually have something to do with Makoto because he attacked the students of HER school. If you get involved with the students of Shujin then you also get involved with Makoto.
But anyway, this turned out so long and I'm not even DONE.
Also how Ryuji and Makoto have similar taste. They're both sports-y, (Ryuji probably finds martial arts awesome I mean come on) and Makoto likes mafia movies which makes me think she also likes "cool" things and same for Ryuji. When Makoto awakened Ryuji was immediately on board calling Makoto an ass whooper, a post-apocalyptic raider and whatnot.
Both of them also get suppressed by their surroundings but for different reasons, Ryuji by the teachers and track team members because he's a ""delinquent"" and Makoto by the students and headmaster because she's the student council president.
Those two just understand eachother I'm telling you. Now just imagine them hanging out with eachother and helping eachother.
Makoto teaching Ryuji fancy Aikido moves he can pull out anytime just in case some crazy teacher has the bad idea to break his legs again so he can defend himself. Ryuji teaching her how to "talk casually" and more like people of her age so she can make friends, and also how to use emojis and play video games. Imagine Makoto saying "for real?!" and sending weird emojis to Ryuji then she has to explain what it means the next day. Like
"Hey uh, Makoto... Is Morgana okay?
-Of course, what do you mean?
-I mean, yesterday at 9pm you sent me this: "Morgana is gonna be delighted *knife emoji* *knife emoji* *cat emoji* *cat emoji* (🔪🔪🐱🐱)" what does that even mean?
-I was cooking something for Morgana since we couldn't bring him sushi yesterday. Is something wrong about that?
- Oh thank God... I thought you were about to kill him.
-What?! That's ridiculous. I would never!"
Ryuji also lends her some shonen and seinen manga because he knows she'll definitely like those (especially the mafia ones). Though they keep that a secret from the others because Makoto doesn't want them to know. But this one time they come into her room and Akira/Ren is like "hmm... I've seen the same mangas in Ryuji's room." So they just nervously laugh it off.
Just IMAGINE the studying scene actually helping Ryuji.
It starts off with Ryuji not even being serious about it and half assing it because he thinks "it's useless I'll never be able to get something better than a low passing grade" because his whole life he's been told that he's stupid and even when he put effort and time into it he wasn't able to get much better.
So then Makoto asks him what kind of method he uses to study and Ryuji's just like?? "What do you mean method? Isn't studying just about reading the same thing over and over again until it gets into your head?"
And so Makoto sighs and explains that there are different ways of memorizing and that everyone has different brains thus different methods of studying. For example she says she's more "manual" so she has to write down the important parts of her lessons a couple of time so she'll remember studying as an "activity/event" of her day thus she remembers what she was writing down because it takes concentration to write something and a councious effort to make a synthesis of all the important parts of her textbooks.
So they make a test to find out what type Ryuji is, Makoto will say 20 completely different words and everytime Ryuji will use a different way to memorize them. The first time around he writes them down then turns the paper so he can't see what he wrote.
He realizes that he was more focused on properly writing down everything she says rather than actually memorizing it so it doesn't work. Then they try again but this time all he has to do is listen carefully to her voice, she says that if it helps him he can also try to make a song with those 20 words.
No good, he's not the auditive type either.
Then lastly Makoto tells him to try to picture every word she says inside of his mind, if it's a tiger he'll picture a tiger. If it's cooking he'll picture someone cooking etc.
And so it ends up working best! He's more of the visual type.
Makoto then talks about the different ways he can study thanks to that. For history he can recreate the stories inside of his mind so anytime he needs to he can play the images in his brain and even if it's not 100% accurate it's fine. Imagine the story you're creating in your mind is a manga based on past events! For math where there isn't much "visualizing" to do, Makoto says he can try to "see" the layout of the page in his mind and if he gets through it a couple of times he can even remember which formula is in which spot of the page which makes it easier to remember them.
Makoto keeps giving him tips and Ryuji listens carefully. She ends her speech by saying that he's not stupid and that disliking studying is normal, having bad grades doesn't make an individual dumb. After seeing that Makoto is serious Ryuji also gets in the "study mood". He's happy because for once he's not being made fun of for really trying his best to get good grades. He feels comfortable with Makoto because she's not looking down on him for having troubles with studying and doesn't mock his efforts.
Thus he ends up having good grades (not Makoto level good but like... B+s and occasional As which seems like a dream for Ryuji.)
Everyone is baffled.
The phantom thieves, the teachers, the students.
It ends up looking really suspicious that he has good grades to the point where people think that he somehow managed to cheat or something. But it's fine, Ryuji doesn't care about what they think and he's super happy at the thought of his mom praising him. The whole time though Makoto is like "I knew it, Ryuji can achieve anything when he really tries." From this point onwards they always study together.
After a while Makoto invites him over since her sister is never home anyways and same for Ryuji. Also the daily lessons they have at school make their way into their conversations thus they pay more attention in class so they can talk about it afterward in their study sessions.
Since Makoto is a third year Ryuji asks her about the things he didn't understand and this helps Makoto to re-check her basics from past years since she tends to forget them and Ryuji also gets interested in third year material then starts getting ahead of his classmates.
This one time he was asked to solve a calculus equation/problem but he wasn't paying attention and he's like... wait... didn't I see this type of thing in Makoto's textbooks? He accidently uses the 3rd year formula instead having no idea that they didn't learn it yet and the teacher is like... "That's... correct? Isn't this third year material though?" And oblivious Ryuji thinks to himself "ah shit, am I gonna get scolded for not paying attention?"
But it's all fine, the teacher was just surprised that Ryuji knew how to use that method and everyone starts thinking that Ryuji is actually secretly super smart and all this time he was failing his tests on purpose to piss the teachers off. From that point onwards he doesn't seem as scary to the others anymore and he gets teased by his classmates sometimes, even the teachers. "So Sakamoto-kun is actually smart huh? Who would've thought."
After a while people start approaching him to ask for help with their homework and with his cheery personality he always explains everything in a super easy way to understand, many start coming to him. Even students from other classrooms then suddenly the "delinquent Sakamoto-kun" isn't scary at all anymore. Poor boy gets teased everyday, especially when they see him talking to Makoto.
"Hey dude! The blond hair doesn't suit you anymore, dye it back to black Sakamoto!!"
"So the student council president is your girlfriend? Makes sense, people who are alike get along right?"
"Aww and here I thought that I had a chance with you... Well, if you're just friends then maybe we could meet this weekend? Just the two of us."
Even Makoto finds teasing him entertaining. She does the typical *wink wink nudge nudge* whenever a girl says she's interested in him. Little does she know that he has someone in his mind already...

Thanks for the 200 +2  followers!
Hi guys! I haven’t been updating frequently (my schedule sucks) but I really wanted to thank you guys for making me hit...
Tumblr media
Like wow, that’s a nice number! So, like I did for the last post showing my appreciation for the first hundred followers, I consolidated all the replies I wanted to address and talk about some of the upcoming works and all. Especially those requests that I haven’t done. I am a bad person, I’m sorry. Please wait for me.
Also, if this post makes you uncomfortable in any form, please PM so I can edit it!
Sorted by users:

@fenrirthemyth
Thank you so much for your comment! I was very worried about ‘Why He Doesn’t Sign‘ because it’s my first time ever doing something related to angst and I still wanted Oji to be in character but sadly observing Aoi. I hope to improve my writing gradually (hence why this blog exists other than me just spazzing about Ayakashi and all)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@jadaninerowena
Oh, thank you so much! Nachi technically doesn’t want to be seen as our younger brother but he’s really the best family Futaba has ever had and I’m glad it was fluffy enough to be appropriate for his birthday!
Speaking of birthdays, I have 2 works for Yura and Gaku respectively although if you know me well enough by now, Gaku is going to get roasted in his severely.
Thanks again! uWu
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@aromantic-misguide-to-romance You’ve actually reblogged my works and that helps it get circulated a lot so I really appreciate that!
And yes, Facebook doesn’t exist. No one in my class uses it. Deal with it.
I’m joking though, I just had to dig out some of the older social media sites to match the oresamas in the game because their interfaces are more intuitive and easier to handle. Even 100 eyes can get strained when looking at a tiny smartphone. Thanks again for sharing! :D
PS: They made the Ayakashi Discord Channel so head over to them to join everyone who loves Ayakashi... and see my puns.
I’m a punster :D

@dany-ryujin
I think I have previously thanked you for the last time I did this sort of post but that’s because you are perpetually sweet <3. I’m glad that the headcanon appealed to you! I was a bit worried about it getting repetitive so I tried to vary the type of dragon MC was. In fact, more of the recent headcanons involving both the Twilight and Dawn factions were about different types of MCs, including the latest requests that I have been staring at during my free time so if you enjoy them, I hope the next few posts will make you happy! Thanks again!

@altaria98
Thank you so much for following me! I’m always happy to see your comments and messages. Plus, a fellow Aoi fan that I can relate to!
For the first comment, yeah, I don’t know why but the moment I roast Gaku, the whole piece goes haywire and you get Twilight: Breaking Dawn and Relationships!
Nobody should scroll down to Gaku for their own sanity.
Tumblr media
The best compliment for a fic if the fan for that character of that fic gives you a sweet comment like this. Checklist: To do You (SFW) was when I tried to see if I can imagine Aoi frantically planning for a perfect outing but having a teenager’s problems like insecurity... and desserts. Yeah, don’t ask.
Tumblr media
I was a bit scared of doing this list specifically because of Aoi. It does feel weird imagining his size considering the stated age but I’m glad nobody found it offensive or illegal. Seriously though, I might have to make it more explicit that he is eighteen years and above for these things. Speaking of which...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@saizoslilwifey
HELLO, FELLOW TRY GUY FAN! I did the PG-rated version of Eugene Lee-Yang’s ranking skits with the girl scouts but you caught it and loved it! Thank you so much for the comments! It made my day seeing someone catch that reference. :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@homu-mod
This is still about Rank-kings but this is also about the sweetest fellow Koga fan! Aye there! If you want more of Koga being perfect... get ready to spell with your ABCs.

@katiestrope
I edited the first picture because that account is deactivated and I don’t think you’d be comfortable with me showing it so I cropped it out. But I cannot crop out your words that got me thinking... that I should eat. LOL! Seriously though, thank you so much!
Will I do a sandwich? I did with Kuro and Aoi but admittedly, I don’t have much experience in writing threesomes. I do have drafts of them, along with other pairs.
I also have bleach for any of the professors who might have noticed it. Just in case.
Tumblr media
@heather-hutchcroft
Ok, bear with me, you don’t get photos because YOU DO TOO MUCH. Like seriously, when I was typing this, my fingers were starting to ache from pressing the screenshot button on my laptop repeatedly. Thank you so much for reblogging my works! It’s really helpful :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@blinded-by-forest-sunlight
As you can see folks, this sweetheart actually sent me this sweet message in my ask box. Seriously, this was very nice! Thank you so much! I hope I can still produce decent stuff and improve! :D

@mseliteminority
Your replies are what makes me hate my works less, like the first comment. How the Dawn Faction Pleasures their MC was something that made me struggle for a while because I wanted it to be extensive. And honestly? Anywhere for any of the Dawn Faction member gets set on fire upon their touch, hehe!
You even commented on my crack pieces as seen with Joining… the inari sushi cult with Toichiro Yuri. Made simply to apologize to the poor Nonnie who got her request on Toichiro very late for the explicit version of the Twilight Faction’s First Time with MC.
Hopefully, I produce more Aoi and Kuya fics like the most recent one celebrating the release of the Event Stories. A Feathery Kiss - Kuya was frankly a rushed job so I hope to do a better one next time!
Finally, Kuro as a Yandere -NSFW edition, was what made me wonder... why do people like Yanderes? Your comment was what made me like this piece in the end because it was pretty fun to see how others reacted to one of the least likely characters to stab someone suddenly going psychotic or something.
Thanks again for your supportive and engaging words! And I will get back to your ask because I am combining it with the other 2 as a sort of comeback piece (if my professors ever free me).

@aikanachi
Wow, the first time someone ever made a playlist based off a headcanon of mine. For The Koyurona Group and the Onmyoji Girl, I did try writing lyrics (terrible ones) for each of the group members. I did record it... before deleting it. LOL. So it’s a good thing someone with good ears, like a certain Nekomata, made this! Thank you so much! :D

@singingonmyojileyka and @saeryenkalador
Nonono, thank YOU for following me and always reblogging my pieces... even the very questionable ones like for the second comment since it really was a random ramble on roasting Gaku again in Random Headcanons #1: Gaku’s Diet. And it was so nice to do Nachi, Koga, Kuya and Kuro because those are also my favourite boys! Plus Aoi... plus Yura... plus Gaku... plus Toichiro... plus Ginnojo... you get the idea.

@carolithe
I couldn’t help it! Your country is very beautiful and it was a great trip! :D I’m glad Gaku is a spirit haunting wasabi-flavoured snacks now and hope we can be munching on some, one day together! Thanks again!

@ikementally-deficient
Yes, fellow comrade! Your wish is my command and I shall always try to present Oji-San(sClothes)! I hope to do justice for him so that all of his eyes can look me in the eye. Thanks again!
PS: Follow them for Ayakashi matchups! They are super good!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@askayakashi
Thanks for mentioning the list! :D Although honestly, it really isn’t the most accurate, LOL. But yeah, I really should tag these lists more. It would be great to gather everyone here...
To roast Gaku.
Tumblr media
And everyone else! Seriously, if I could, I would have dumped all those notes but I’m already behind in making my study notes. Whether it’s a ‘like’, a reply, a reblog, a suggestion, a critique or a funny request, I love everything from all of you.
Tumblr media
Once again, thank you for following me! I’m so happy to be part of this loving and funny fandom and hope to get know more of you! :D

Thieves in Inaba Bonus #5: Puss in Suits
Teddie, Morgana along with Ren and Yosuke are checking out the clothing department in Junes a few days after the crazyness that was that adventure. Yosuke seems a bit reluctant however, knowing how much was taken out of his account by the girls when Teddie needed clothing.
“And you really can’t afford much, you said?” Yosuke sighs, shaking his head in annoyance at the younger Persona user.
“Yeah, all the work I had was back in Tokyo along with whatever money I managed to get in Palaces or Mementos.” Ren places his hands into his pockets.
“And how much was in your account when you had to come back home, then?”
“...700,000 Yen.” The teen shrugs.
“That’s...not a number I was expecting. Wait if you had this much then why am I paying for this?!”
“I had to use a good chunk of it to replace....my old keyboard.” He blushes.
“Keyboard, what is your PC busted?” But when he asks this, Morgana laughs.
“Wrong keyboard, Yosuke. He means the instrument. Our leader is skilled not only in combat, but has some skills with music too. Just another thing Yu probably can’t do, mwehehe!”
Teddie pouts a bit. “Sensei got professionally trained for stage performance, you know! We all saved the day with dance, and it was his idea!”
“Okay okay, let’s not get into a fight you two. Geez I’m starting to sound like a parent...” Yosuke shakes his head. “See anything you like yet, Morgana?”
The former feline looks over a clothing rack, contemplating a few outfits. “It’s summer right now, so most of whats being sold is short sleeves and shorts. This sweater I appeared in is too stuffy for the season so I’d want something lightweight...”
“Well, Mona Mona if you want my suggestion...you’ll probably want something with a ‘cool’ vibe!” Teddie smiles. “I tried to be more approachable with mine, but since you have the cool thing down you should capitalize on it! Maybe you could even finally score with Ann-chan!”
“Cool huh? You might be right, Teddie.” Morgana smiles.
Yosuske sighs. “Well going that route, it might not be too much of a dent in my wallet.”
Morgana turns a corner and comes back with a few t-shirts along with some slightly nicer clothing, shorts and long shorts. “I don’t know too much about clothing sizes, but these looked close enough.”
“Well try them on, we’ll give our opinions.” Ren smiles, giving his friend a thumbs up.
Comming out with the first one, it’s a black t-shirt with some Cats styled after sushi on it. None of the three are surprised he went for that one first. He has a pair of beige long shorts to go with it. Morgana seems happy with himself.
“I think if I went with this, I’d need sunglasses as well.” He chuckles. “What do you three think.”
“It fits your personality and interests, and while cool it’s not standoffish.” Ren states, smirking.
“It’s a cute shirt! Plus, if you’re gonna meet new people it’s perfect!” Teddie smiles.
“It’s good enough. I don’t see it working miracles, clothing isn’t going to instantly get you friends. The other half is your effort after all.” Yosuke shrugs.
“Well as long as it’s not intimidating, that’s what matters.” Morgana smiles. “Onto outfit number two of three!”
He heads back in and changes, coming out in a yellow tank top with a fishbone design in the chest area. Along with it, black shorts. Once again, no surprise from the trio.
“I saw Ryuji wearing one of these, so I figured I’d copy him just to get under his skin.”
“Well, again it fits you. Plus if you start working out more this will be good to show off.” Ren nods.
“More fish themed stuff! You must really love fish, Mona!” Teddie claps.
“You don’t seem to hate any of these when you wear them, so I’d say as long as you feel confident in it, it’d work? I don’t know, I’m not good at this sorta thing.” Yosuke sighs.
“You’re at least trying. As a fellow Magcian I commend that.” Morgana chuckles. “And now for the coup de gras!”
He heads back in, coming out in a nice blue shirt and grey shorts. It looks like something he’d wear to a date. For once, the three are surprised.
“Well, what do you think? When I’m fully ready I’ll ask Lady Ann to a date, and wear this outfit to match her model style. It’ll be a great first date!” He laughs to himself.
“Well I can see it.” Ren nods.
“You’ll score her for sure! Hehe!” Teddie gives him a thumbs up combined with a wink.
“I mean, it does look like something you’d only want for a date so I can’t argue.” Yosuke shrugs again.
“Good! Now to get more outfits like this!” Morgana smiles, going to change back.
“W-Wait, more?!”
“What, did you think we were just stopping at three? I’m not an idiot. I need enough so I don’t constantly wear the same four all over again.”
Yosuke lowers his head. So much for saving his wallet from an early grave.
“Don’t complain now. Remember, this was my requirement for cooperation with the Operatives. Ren’s deals weren’t the only thing keeping us with you.” Morgana laughs, walking a bit ahead.
“He could have asked Sho, or or Mitsuru! Hell even Rise! But no, he asks me...” Yosuke drags his feet as he follows Morgana.
Teddie looks to Ren. “What did the others ask, if you don’t mind me wondering?”
“Theirs were a lot more reasonable. Futaba wanted to learn about Aigis and Labrys. Yusuke wanted to take up another art form to expand his skills, so he asked Kanji if he can learn how to crochet. Haru wasn’t positive on if she wanted to ask for anything, so she insisted that she had to give them something in exchange for her cooperation. Ann wanted to take Yukari somewhere to bond more. Something with crepes I bet. Makoto wanted to sharpen up her skills with Akihiko, and Ryuji? He still hasn’t decided.”
Teddie blinks. “So is the deal off if he doesn’t decide?”
“Na. Morgana was bluffing just to get Yosuke to comply.” Ren laughs.
“That’s mean!” Teddie huffs.
“You get used to it....”

Ok but I'm vvv curious to hear your take on goro + pt members hcs ? 👀
ohhh I GOT YOU, honestly there was a lack of goro and other thieves interactions, even his interactions with akira don’t happen enough as they could have potentially
wasted potential atlus, wasted potential
PTs and the Goroboyo, headcanons:
he and ann share a love of sweet goods, so naturally ann and goro take eachother to their favourite dessert places, and share their recommendations. they’ll get one of those massive sharing platters between them and sit for hours just chatting and dissecting the desserts (all for the food blog, yeah sure thing). also, they’ll bitch about media sources a lot, because ann’s in the model industry and goro a celebrity detective, so they share a hatred for demanding directors and pushy media-focused adults
of all the thieves, it takes ryuji the longest to really warm up to akechi, and with a bit of akira assistance, they start hanging out together. they’re both quite active, if in different ways, and so they start sharing exercise routines. ryuji refuses to do the early-morning cycling that akechi does, but is more than happy to try out rock-climbing. they always race to the top, and everytime akechi beats him- ryuji isn’t impressed and starts training to beat him, in secret. after that, ryuji will drag akechi to the beef bowl place or some other place for food. he really helps akechi to be that bit more impulsive, and less composed
it’s yusuke who introduces akechi to his artwork. akechi was absent-mindedly commenting on the beauty of the true sayuri one night in leblanc, and yusuke latched to it immediately. they talked for hours as akira smiled and refilled their coffee, akechi being educated on some of the intricacies of art. akechi finds he quite likes visiting art museums, and entertaining himself with the mystery of the stories behind various paintings- and yusuke is the first to indulge in his wonderings and theories about the artists
makoto and akechi may as well be siblings, i’ll just throw it out there. they share interests and some values, but at times their competitiveness can drive the other thieves crazy, but there’s no stopping them from it. makoto did mention in the game they had a rivalry of sorts, but to stretch that canon, their competitiveness can range from investigation work, to video games, or even grades in school, with the occasional taunting comment thrown in between. but, when they work together, they’re quite the force to be reckoned with. they’ll study together often enough, or solve complex puzzles in sae’s living room while she prepares dinner (Sae’s got two younger siblings now and i can’t be convinced otherwise), working into the early hours- it drives Sae crazy
futaba is an absolute memelord, and akechi quite frankly never understands half her pop culture references in the groupchat (because that is definitely a thing) and futaba becomes determined to introduce him to modern culture. they binge-watch everything from the disney classics to comic films, sometimes accompanied by akira, and akechi is caught up on all the things he’s missed from his childhood or from his inability to look into it himself due to having a busy schedule. he’s learning the art of the meme, which isn’t helped by the endless shitposting in the groupchat from half the pt, but he understands it more than yusuke, which is something
hanging out with haru is always a peaceful reprieve from his busy schedule for akechi. they’ll spend a good part of the day gardening or haru will let goro sample some of the sweet desserts she hopes to one day serve in her cafe, she claims it’s nice to get some feedback from someone with a food blog. akechi says once she gets her cafe set up, he’ll be the first to make a review
morgana was a bit wary of akechi too in the start, best the two get in the beginning is sitting next to eachother in leblanc at night, as akira practices his coffee skills. but eventually, morgana starts to notice the all-too familiar dark circles under akechi’s eyes, and yells at both him and akira to go to bed- there’s no escape for akechi now. he has a permanent sleep monitor. from there, the two share nice conversations in leblanc, and they both get really excited at the prospect of going out for sushi. as it happens, akechi isn’t the biggest fan of fatty tuna, so he’ll share it with morgana
oh is one bulletpoint even enough for akira? ah well, let’s do this. akira is goro’s main supporter through it all, and most nights in leblanc are spent with them both sat together over cups of coffee, talking late into the night. sometimes it’s absolutely mindless chatter from two dorky teenage boys, othertimes it’s deep philosophical conversations they share opinions over until morgana demands they go to bed. also, as is the same with all his friends, akira keeps a close eye on akechi and his health. if the detective’s eyes are too droopy, akira encourages him to take a nap. if he hasn’t eaten all day, akira will prepare curry or take him out for something. akechi gets invited to pt study times, and slowly akira helps him become more sociable and integrate with the other thieves, he’s the cause of akechi starting to have those hang out times with the other thieves- helping him form bonds with people his own age, to let loose and have fun, learn that not everything is about pleasing adults and being a perfect detective for the public. akira saves him, in more ways than one
wow that ending got a little sappy, but ah well! there be my main headcanons for goro and the phantom thieves. honestly it’d be really interesting to see akechi hang out with the thieves more….oh atlus, so much wasted potential

Thanks for the P Thieves
WARNING: This post can get a bit long.
>November 25, Thanksgiving.
Tumblr media
>The Valdez Mansion. Who knew that these were the familiar faces Fox was talking about were Tony and Reuben? And that’s not all...
Tumblr media
Okay, lets go over this again so it would be perfectly clear. Rex’s parents and Tony parents... knew each other?
Tumblr media
Si, we haven’t seen each other since the Nanite Even. Of course to be fair, I was stuck in space for what seemed like hours only to find out it’s been years.
Tumblr media
And I sort of forgot.
Tumblr media
It wasn’t until we all met up in the cemetery for Dia de Muertos the we got reacquainted.
Tumblr media
Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Valdez and the Doctors Salazar are buried in the same cemetery. As you recall, me and Futaba went with Rex and Caesar to honor our loved ones when we met them who were also there to honor their loved ones.
Tumblr media
That’s right. We didn’t recognize them at first. We were kind of busy what with me as a Keyblade Master and Tony is a superhero. We didn’t know it was them until we got closer. Who knew Dio George and Dia Maria’s grave were right next to Dio Rafael and Dia Violeta’s?
Tumblr media
The grave keeper and the church, I guess.
Tumblr media
Well I’m glad you’re all together again. It must be so nice.
Rex: And we’ve go even more.
Pema’s Voice from the kitchen: Ren, we could use some help with the dumplings!
Joker: Okay! I’ll see you you later. Let me know when the parade is over. I don’t want to miss Santa.
Tumblr media
Who does?
>With that, I go into the kitchen. Inside, I find Tenzin, Pema, Bobo, and Dogg all working on the dinner. Mostly vegan, of course. It appears Pema and Bobo were having some kind of disagreement.
Tumblr media
Hands off! All four of them! Trust us, we know how to make vegetable dumplings.
Tumblr media
Easy, lady, I was just adding a bit of my own touch to the dumplings.
Tumblr media
A vegetable dumping with bananas, fruits, in them. That does sound like something that hasn’t been done before.
Joker: Is something the matter?
Tumblr media
Apparently, Agent Haha has confused our vegetable dumplings for fruit pies which we will be having for dessert along with this pumpkin pie you talk about.
Bobo: Can’t I help it that I think we’re doing this too traditionally?
Dogg: It never hurts to try something new, but there are somethings that are not ready for change.
Bobo: Wise words... But I still wanna add something new to them.
Joker: But you have to admit, those dumpling smell great. I’ve never seen dumpling like this before. I wonder if I could get the recipe.
Tenzin: Well, I don’t really see why not. It’s nice to share some Air Nation culture with those of another world. I thought I could get through to White Knight, but he’s clearly not interested. But I know Sokka could. And now, you will, too.
>Tenzin gives me the recipe for Vegetarian Momo. Now I can make it in my (Joker’s) Kitchen.
Dogg: I wonder.
Joker: What is it, Dogg Sensei?
Dogg: In the words of a famous driving cook... “I’ve come up with a new recipe.”
>Dogg takes Bobo’s banana and begins chopping them and putting the slices on the pumpkin pies.
Dogg: I call it Banana Pumpkin Pie... Or Pumpkin Banana Pie. Which ever works.
Bobo: ... I like the first one.
Joker: A pumpkin pie with banana slices? I wonder what that would be like.
>I learned the recipe for Banana Pumpkin Pie. It’s also been added to the menu.
Pema: Well, now that that’s settle. We should get working on this turkey you speak of.
Tenzin: We’re not actually going to eat a bird.
Dogg: You don’t have to.
>Dogg shows the label on the turkey. “Tofu Turkey”.
Tenzin: I see. Well then, let’s carry on.
>A little later on, we were in full swing with making the Thanksgiving Dinner. I was tossing the salad when I hear the doorbell ringing.
>At the front door, Panther answers it.
Tumblr media
Did we miss the party? I brought sushi.
Tumblr media
Mom, Dad, Uncle Orlando, Uncle Vincent, Aunt Rin, Uncle Toby, Aunt Erica, Uncle Jonny, Aunt Ariga, you made it!
Tumblr media
We just happened to be in town at the time when we got this invitation about a Thanksgiving Dinner here at this place. Look.
>Katherine showed an invitation on her phone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sweet, you got it! Thanks, Sophia, for coming up with these.
Tumblr media
You’re welcome, Ryuji, I’ve proven one again I’m humanity’s companion.
Tumblr media
The further details said we could bring something to contribute to the feast. So we did.
>Uncle Vincent takes something out of some plastic bags...
Queen: Is that...
Tumblr media
Non-alcoholic apple cider, I promise.
Tumblr media
I know I’m mostly doing wresting these days, but I still have some waitressing skills to spare.
Tumblr media
And I still have some mechanic skills. Me and Jonny found a fast enough ride to get here.
Tumblr media
But next time, let me do all the driving. We’re lucky we didn’t even get a speeding ticket.
Tumblr media
But it was rather exciting. Starships don’t do car driving justice. Makes me think about the race at Racer Academy last year.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I heard. I wonder if we can watch that.
Tumblr media
Not a chance. We’ve never missed the Thanksgiving Day Skate Off. And I hear this year, they invited athletes from the skating competition at the Olympics over to watch a known skate team from Japan will be skating.
Sammi: We can just record one of them.
Tumblr media
It just wouldn’t be the same watching a recording of the skate off than we were watching it live.
Dad: Even though my son got his license at Racer Academy. Speaking of which, where is Ren?
Noir: He’s in the kitchen helping with the dinner.
Dad: Good, I’ll see if they need any help.
Orlando: I’m coming, too. I need to put this sushi platter down and hopefully catch the parade.
Erica: If you’re going there, take the cider with you.
>With that, Uncle Orlando takes the cider and the sushi and takes it to the kitchen.
Tumblr media
Be careful with that sushi! I get first dibs!
Skull: (whisper) Cool it, cat.
>The doorbell rings again.
Tumblr media
More guests, I take it?
Skull: I got it.
>Skull answers the door.
Tumblr media
Sorry we’re late. We were having a hard time getting our foods through customs.
>It was Peter, Harry, Mary Jane, Gwen, Miles, Anya, Aunt May, Grady, Flash, Randy, Liz, Mr. Robertson, and two men and a woman we’ve never seen before.
Tumblr media
Naw, you guys are right on time!
Tumblr media
Good. This kind of reminds us of San Fransokyo last summer.
Tony: Pretty much it does.
Tumblr media
A year isn’t really that long, you guys.
Tumblr media
But still, a lot can happen in a year.
Tumblr media
I’ll believe it when I see it.
>The two men glare at each other.
Tumblr media
Come on, Dad, you promised you two would be nice.
Miles: She’s right, Uncle Aaron. You promised us and Mom.
Uncle Aaron: (groaning) Fine.
Gwen’s Father: Just don’t even think of doing anything funny. We’re guests here.
Uncle Aaron: Just as long as you don’t?
Miles: (a bit embarrassed, but smiling) You two.
Violet: Care to introduce us?
Gwen: Everyone, this is my dad.
Gwen’s Father: Captain George Stacy, NYPD.
Miles: And this is Aaron Davis. My father’s brother.
Aaron: Nice to meet you all.
Tumblr media
Wait. Aaron Davis? As in... the original Prowler?
Aaron: (smiling) On certain occasion, but not this time. Right now, I’m Uncle Aaron.
Captain Stacy: (in disbelief) For your sake, you better be. I don’t want to have to slap handcuffs in front of your nephew.
Tumblr media
Ignore them. Anyway, this is my stepsister, Maria.
NOTE & SPOILER: This is actually a picture of Chameleon, but it was the only image of Maria we could find that wasn’t on a phone.
Tumblr media
Hola, everyone!
Noir: (greeting) It’s nice to meet you, Maria chan.
Tumblr media
Ooo, you looks smart. I take it your a scientist.
Maria: Pretty much. (The lab coat pretty much says it all.) I normally work for Stark International, but recently, I’ve been helping Anya and her friends at W.E.B.
Tumblr media
A lot of us have. Of course, we have Mr. Stark and, Randy, and even his dad for that.
Tumblr media
Actually, most of the thanks about spreading the news should go to Randy. I would have talked about it for the Daily Bugle, but Jameson threatened to fire me if I did.
Tumblr media
Yeah. Ever since Peter turned 18, Jameson can now legally bash him on DBC. He’s even targeting W.E.B. saying that’s it’s nothing but a joke run by juvenile delinquents and that they should leave big science like that to the professionals like that other world company you guys dealt with.
Tumblr media
Yeah. I hear he even dragged his son to that Thanksgiving party at Krei’s place... But don’t worry, I’ve fixed that.
Randy: (whispering and smiling) They’re gonna get Screwballed.
Tumblr media
Hey, while we’re waiting, let’s see what games are on.
Scragg: Whoa! Fragg and Scragg don’t do football. But we’re definitely gonna see the skate off.
Queen: We haven’t decided on that yet. We might still watch the Thanksgiving Day Race at Racer Academy. We promised our friends there that we would. We can still record the skate off.
Scragg: (defeated) Okay.
Flash: For real? No game? Oh well, I can just watch it on my phone.
Peter: Way to look on the bright side, Flash.
Tumblr media
Well, this is the day to be thankful.
Tumblr media
This is true. I’m just happy a lot of us can be together like this.
Noir: You can say that again, Aunt May.
Aunt May: Thank you, Haru. Here, I brought the stuffing for the table.
Randy: Me and Dad brought the sweet potato pie.
Miles: And I brought my mom’s rice. By the way, she wants to me to tell you that she’s sorry that she and Billie couldn’t be here. She wishes that they could be here, but you know how it is.
Queen: A councilwoman’s work is never done.
Miles: And she’s still a little reluctant about Uncle Aaron, so she wouldn’t let me take Billie with us.
Aaron: Give it time, she’ll come around.
Miles: I hope so. Ever since Dad... (looks down)
>Everyone, except for Sammi, Zeb, Reuben, Fragg, and Skragg who were just confused, went silent until Peter puts his hand on Miles’ shoulders.
Peter: (with a reassuring smile) We’re going to find him. Don’t worry. This Christmas won’t be lonely for your family like last year.
Miles: (feeling a bit better) I know. Thanks, Pete. All of you.
>Everyone nods.
Captain Stacy: (whisper) Now I don’t have the heart to tell that kid that as soon as we find his father, we have to arrest him for aiding Norman Osborn.
Aaron: (whispering back unhappy) Seriously, man?
Captain Stacy: (normal voice) Never mind. Where do we put the food?
Sammi: In the kitchen with the others.
>With that, Miles, Aunt May, and Randy take their foods to the kitchen while the others join the rest in the living room to watch the parade.
>The doorbell rings again.
Violet: I think this one’s for me.
>She answers it.
Tumblr media
Here at last.
Violet: Dad, you made it!
Violet’s Father: Yes, I’m here... Though, I’m not so sure about the people you had me go with you.
>Along with Violet’s father... were Vincent, Duke, and their parents.
Tumblr media
Hey, Sumire. It’s been a while.
Violet: (happy) It’s good to see you, too, Vincent. Duke, Mr. and Mrs. Hauser.
Tumblr media
Sumire. Yoshizawa san.
Tumblr media
We brought mashed potatoes. And an apple pie.
Queen: We already have a lot of mashed potatoes, but the apple pie is nice. Thank you, Mrs. Hauser.
Fox: I always thought it was pumpkin pies you eat for dessert at Thanksgiving.
Tumblr media
Connie thought we should try something different this year since you probably already have a lot.
Reuben: Yeah, I brought them. Just take them to the kitchen. Everyone else is watching the parade.
>With that, Mrs. Hauser takes her foods to the kitchen while her family goes to the living room to watch the parade.
>The doorbell rings again.
Fox: I wonder.
>Fox answers the door.
Tumblr media
Am I the last one?
Skull: No, we’re expecting more.
Tumblr media
I’m glad you could be here.
Taro: Well, this place isn’t that far from Scorchers HQ and everyone’s spending time with their own families, so what else could I do? Besides... I thought it would be nice to spend some time with you.
Fox: Happy to hear that.
Taro: Hope you don’t mind, I brought a vegetable casserole.
Queen: Not at all. Just take it to the kitchen.
>With that, Taro takes his dish to the kitchen.
>Suddenly, everything shakes.
Scragg: (alarmed) An earthquake?
Skull: No, just more people we invited.
>Skull, Fragg, and Scragg go out to see something really big flying in.
Tumblr media
Fragg and Scragg: Holy...!
>On the back of the kaiju...
Tumblr media
Thank you for flying Air Sizzik. Please put your trays in their upright positions and we hope you will be flying with us again soon.
>The kaiju put down Kei and six other people. Skull recognizes four of them, Makoto, Bruno, Adi, and Chloe. The other two were a man and a woman, most likely Kei’s parents. Then, Slizzik goes back into Kei’s sketchbook.
Tumblr media
That was a great ride, Kei! Thank you. We would normally take the Quinjet, but Tony and the others were invited to take part in the parade and they wanted to use it.
Tumblr media
You’re welcome.
Tumblr media
(a little shaken) But I think the Quinjet would have been more safer... It has seatbelts.
Tumblr media
But you have to admit, it was quite the ride. I thought rollercoasters were that thrilling.
Tumblr media
If you thought that was thrilling, try flying into a real storm.
Kei: Really? I never-
Mrs. Kawade: (quickly) Please, don’t give him any ideas.
Tumblr media
Ryuji, how are things?
Skull: Goin’ good. Glad you guys could make it.
Tumblr media
Thanks. By the way, Kamala says she’s sorry she couldn’t come, she’s spending Thanksgiving with her family, but she told me to give you this dish she and her mom made. I think it’s called lobia daal.
Queen: (also coming out) That sounds good. Nothing makes a vegetarian Thanksgiving than black-eyed peas. Take it into the kitchen and join the rest in the living room.
>With that, they all come back inside.
>Just a little after that, the doorbell rang again.
Tumblr media
That must be them.
Tumblr media
I’ll get it.
>Yosuke goes to the door and answers it...
??????: SENSEEEEI! YOSUKEEEE!
>Something big and hairy jumps on Yosuke with teary eyes.
Yosuke: (trying to get back up) Okay! Okay! You don’t have to be so dramatic.
Tumblr media
But you and Sensei just disappeared and didn’t turn up for months just like last year. And this time, you were gone longer.
Yu: Well, we’re here now. Don’t worry.
>Teddie cheered up a bit. Then, the rest of the Investigation Team along with Nanako, Dojima, and Marie come through the door.
Tumblr media
Big Bro! Yosuke! We’re here!
Yu: (happy) Yes, Nanako. We’re all here.
Tumblr media
Geez! You guys disappears for weeks on end with little to no contact. You had Nanako worried. And us.
Yosuke: (getting frustrated) Well next time, tell the Velvet Room to give out warning before hand.
Tumblr media
Yeah, we tried talkin’ to ‘em... Until we saw that kid in the little car... (getting a bit gushy) And I couldn’t help it, he was just so damn cute!
Tumblr media
Way to stay professional, Kanji.
Tumblr media
Either way, we’re finally together now.
Nanako: Yeah, Big Bro, Dad, and our friends are all here.
Chie: Yeah, it’s Turkey Time!
Noir: I should let you know first, it’s a tofu turkey. No meat here.
Chie: (a little disappointed) For real?
Tony: It was Dogg’s idea. And we have Air Nomads joining us at our table.
Nanako: (a bit surprised) Real Air Nomads? The kind that can use Airbending? Wow!
Tumblr media
So glad to see we have such a cute fan. Ever considered becoming an Air Acolyte?
Teddie: (not happy with that) Grr! Don’t even think about it, buster! Nana chan is way too precocious and pure to join some otherworld cult.
Tumblr media
The Air Acolytes are not a cult. They are an order who have dedicated themselves to preserving the ways of our nation. Even after Airbenders returned to our world.
Tumblr media
It’s true. I’m an Airbender from that world, but half of me is from this one.
Tumblr media
Oh boy, I thought this was going to be a quite dinner.
Rex: (smiling) Where’s the fun in that?
Tumblr media
It’s okay, Chie. If you like a familiar dish, I have you covered. Here’s my dish for Thanksgiving.
>Yukiko shows to have a pot with her.
Yu: (worried) Is... Is that...
>Yukiko opens the pot.
Tumblr media
(Insert song: Who Is There from Persona 4)
Yosuke: (freaking out in terror) How the hell did you get that past customs!?
Yukiko: I didn’t. I made it in the kitchen of the house Dojima san rented for us. It’s not that far from where we are.
Tony: (also worried) It’s not the house that just a couple blocks from here, is it?
Yukiko: Actually, it is. Why do you ask?
Tony: (whispering in defeat) Oh crap, even when she’s not here, Valeria’s still trying to kill me.
Sammi: (curious) What is that anyway?
Yukiko: ... Udon noodles.
Zeb: I’ve had udon noodles before, but I don’t remember them looking like this.
Yukiko: I’ve... just been creative. So I’ll just take this to the kitchen and add it to the others.
>With that, Yukiko take her ‘dish’ to the kitchen.
Yosuke: Partner, you’ve gotta go in there and do something. We can’t let Mystery Food X: Thanksgiving Edition make its debut here.
Yu: (quickly) Right.
>With that, Yu speeds into the kitchen.
Sammi: Aren’t you all overreacting? He cooking didn’t look that bad... Did it?
Kanji: (sweaty) I hope my insurance card is good overseas.
Tumblr media
Well, let’s just be thankful that she’s trying.
>With that, the Investigation Team, Nanako, Dojima, and Marie go to the living room to watch the parade.
>Then, the bell rings again.
Reuben: (surprised) Díos, how many people did you invite? If we get anymore, this is going to be a public area.
Tumblr media
As Grandpa Mac always said, “The more, the merrier.”
Skull: That’s a pretty basic sayin’.
Moss: But it does ring true.
>Skull answers the door.
Tumblr media
We’re here.
Queen: You are. You should be the last bunch to arrive.
Tumblr media
I hope so. The two in our company seem a little off.
Tumblr media
Now that’s a little mean. I thought the company was smart.
Tumblr media
That’s not exactly what she’s talking about, but you’re right, it was a smart company.
Tumblr media
(laughing a bit) You’re the same as always, Takuto. Never change.
Maruki: Might be too late for that.
Skull: Hey, I’m glad you guys made it. Did you bring them, too?
Wolf: (smiling) Why don’t you ask them?
Tumblr media
Ryu kun~!❤ Happy Thanksgiving!
Skull: (happy) Same to you, Mom.
>They hugged.
????: Got room for one more?
>The last guest comes in.
Tumblr media
There always is.
Tumblr media
Glad to hear it.
>With that, Crow joins in on the hug... Then, Skull’s mother backed away to let them embrace on their own. It was a long and happy moment for them. Then, they noticed what was going on and backed away from each other, blushing, smiling, and happy.
Makoto: (watching from the living room and cheering) I saw that, you two!
Skull’s Mother: (smiling) Oh, Mak kun.
Noir: So, did you bring something for our table?
>Wolf goes out for a bit and wheels in a big keg.
Wolf: (with a satisfied smile) Hot apple cider, anyone?
Panther: That’s great, Zenkichi, but my mom, Ren’s dad, and their friends already brought the cider.
Wolf: Really? How much?
Erika: (just coming back from the bathroom) About two bottles.
Wolf: (scoffing a bit) With this many guest? I think it’s good thing a brought a big keg
Erika: (unimpressed) You didn’t have to rub it in.
Wolf: Oh, that reminds me. I hope you don’t mind... But me and Akane invited a few other friends of ours. They just happen to live near the area and they had nothing to do since they wanted to spend Thanksgiving together, so we thought they would like to come over.
Sammi: Alright. Just hope we could make room for more.
>Suddenly, the sound of car engines could be heard outside.
Wolf: Huh, that would be them now.
>I hear the commotion from the kitchen and go outside with the others as Shibusawa wheels the keg into the kitchen.
>Outside, we see four cars driving in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Those are some pretty big and very powerful-looking cars.
Joker: Even my grandfather’s car dealership doesn’t sell monsters like these.
???? ???????: Who are you calling monsters? Zenkichi told us about that RV.
>The people in the cars come out.
Tumblr media
Wait. You’re...
Tumblr media
What’s the matter? Never seen someone so awesome celebrating Thanksgiving before?
Tumblr media
Someone so awesome?
Tony Toretto: Sorry. An awesome group celebrating Thanksgiving.
Tumblr media
That’s a little better.
Skull: (still reeling) Awesome? That’s like a big understatement. You guys are...
Tumblr media
Unbelievable!
Tumblr media
Yeah, we know.
Oracle: Gramps, how do you know these people?
Wolf: (still scoffing) Remember when I told you I was the original DK? I had a feeling that you still didn’t believe me. So I thought, if you didn’t believe me... Maybe you’ll believe someone who practically grew up in the world of street racing. I was originally going to ask Dom to do it, but he has plans this Thanksgiving. Fortunately, his younger cousin, Tony, who happens to be good friends with Akane since they were young, wanted to spend this year with his friends which he somewhat considers his family.
Skull: For real? How?
Tony Toretto: Well, must of what I know about Zenkichi, Cousin Dom told me.
Fox: (still dubious) So basically, you don’t know anything.
Wolf: (shocked) Seriously!?
Joker: I still think you may be telling the truth.
Wolf: (looking down) I don’t need your pity.
Tumblr media
That’s okay. You’ll convince them soon enough... I think... I don’t know, I’ve only met you for the first time yesterday.
Akane: (a little embarrassed) Oh, brother.
Tumblr media
Just as long as Ms. You-Know-Where isn’t coming here, too.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I don’t think you could be that agitated by someone twice in the same year.
Tumblr media
I had a feeling something like this would happen. So I told her ahead of time that as long as she stays away from Providence territory, even though it’s only temporary, we should have a happy Thanksgiving and a happy Holidays.
Rex: For real? I didn’t think you had someone you despised more than me, White.
Tumblr media
You’ve never met her, Rex. We have. And I have to tell you... That woman makes Black Knight look like an angel.
Tony Toretto: You wouldn’t be wrong there.
Frostee Benson: Anyway, we’re here now. And here’s what I brought.
>Frostee Benson opens a bag with packs of Yoka Spirit Water.
Oracle: (unimpressed) Really? You brought that stuff?
Frostee Benson: Hey, nothing beats a sweet pack of Yoka Water.
Oracle: All this praise for cans of sugar water?
Skull: (scoffing) And this comin’ from the gal who was just chuggin’ down can after can of 1UP?
Tumblr media
Mmm!
Queen: Just take that to the kitchen.
Joker: Some advice: Watch out for the talking chimp. Last I saw him, he got into an argument with Randy over his sweet potato pie.
Frostee Benson: Come again?
Cisco Renaldo: I better come, too. I know a thing or two about dealing with primates.
Bobo’s Voice from inside: I heard that, chump!
>With that, Toretto’s team, White Knight, Dr. Holiday, Rex, Beverly, and Agent Six go back inside.
Queen: Well, that should be all of them. Now we should-
Sophie: Hold on, I just got a message that there’s someone else coming.
Queen: (surprised) Are you serious? I didn’t think we invited anyone else.
Sophie: I just got the message... They’re coming now.
>Suddenly, we hear something coming... Something big, stormy... and neighing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn’t that...
>The black carriage stops at our feet and opens. Then, two familiar faces we hoped we wouldn’t see again for a while come out.
Tumblr media
Announcing the arrival of his excellency, Sojiro Sakura.
Tumblr media
(getting out of the carriage) Could you drop the excellency part, will ya?
Bertuccio: Can you blame me? It’s my job.
Tumblr media
Anyway, hope we’re not late. I know we’re the last ones to arrive.
Queen: Actually, we weren’t expecting you at all. We were hoping that Boss would join us via the computer.
Boss: Believe me, I’m still trying to get this around my head myself. I was just closing up the café for the night when these two showed up saying that there was a party and that my presence was requested. They practically shoved me into the carriage.
Bertuccio: (noticing Oracle glaring) I can assure you, we handled him as gently as possible.
Oracle: You better have.
Wolf: Or we’re going to have a problem.
Baptistin: Believe us, we wouldn’t want that.
Queen: Anyway, if you’re here, I suppose you have something for our table.
Bertuccio: We French don’t normally celebrate Thanksgiving, but we have.
>Bertuccio goes back to the carriage and takes something on a silver platter coved by a silver cloche.
Baptistin: Park it someplace, Ali. We’re let you know when we’re ready later.
Tumblr media
...
>With that, the alien known as Ali drives the carriage off. Then, Bertuccio lives the cloche off to show us...
Violet: (a bit surprised) Is that... the Grey Stuff?
>There was no doubt about it. It was a chocolate cake covered in the grey stuff that’s delicious... Don’t believe us? Ask the dishes.
Baptistin: Just a little something we threw together.
Wolf: (a little suspicious) You didn’t do anything funny with it, did you?
Baptistin: (smirking) Now why would you think that?
Bertuccio: (being stern) Baptistin, we’re guests here. Try to be polite.
Baptistin: (holding his hands up like it’s no big deal) Just showing him courtesy, that’s all.
Wolf: Fine, we’ll trust you... For now. Just take that to the kitchen.
>With that, Bertuccio and Baptistin take the Grey Stuff Cake inside.
Oracle: Are you sure you’re fine, Sojiro?
Boss: I’m fine. Remember what Shido’s men did... Although...
Tumblr media
There’s something really nostalgic about riding in a carriage. Particularly that carriage. Almost like... Like...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What!?
Joker: What’s wrong, Boss?
>Boss was dazed for a moment. But snapped out of it quickly and just smiles.
Tumblr media
It’s nothing. Just a thought. Now c’mon, while I’m here, why not enjoy ourselves.
>We just nodded and head inside. I look into the kitchen and see Bertuccio and Baptsitin talking with Agent Six.
Tumblr media
(whispering) Just what are you two up to?
>I noticed I wasn’t the only one wondering... Wolf was also in thought.
Rand’s Voice from the living room: Hey everyone! The finale of the parade is coming! Hurry, or you’ll miss Santa!
Makoto’s Voice: And the Avengers!
>We all quickly go to the living room where the Macy’s Lacy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was drawing to a close for the year.
Tumblr media
Hello, everybody, Fairy Godmother here with my co-host, Danika Hart! If you’re just joining us, you’re just in time for the grand finale of this year’s Lacy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! And here they come, promising that if any baddy even thinks about threatening the holiday season, they will be sure to avenge it. Ladies and gentlemen, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers!
>No sooner she announces this, the Quinjet is seen moving along the street as the Avengers were on it waving to the cheering crowds.
Tumblr media
It’s a cool sight, FG. Who would have thought the Avengers would be riding here today? A lot of hero fans out there are probably screaming with excitement at this.
Tumblr media
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Tumblr media
And a Happy Holidays!
Danika Hart: And joining them on the Quinjet singing his new song, “Lion’s Adventure”, famous singer, songwriter, and one of Spider-Man’s biggest fans, Ross Caliban!
Tumblr media
Don’t give me all the credit. Helping me with this song is one of the inspirations for my music career aside from Spider-Man, give up for the Trendbenders! You ready, guys?
Tumblr media
We’re ready. We would like to dedicate this song to four of the greatest people in our lives.
Ross Caliban: First, to my boy, Spider-Man. Thank you for everything you’ve done for this city.
Tumblr media
Next, to our own boy, Rex. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us... No matter how brief that was.
Tumblr media
Next, the leader of the Outsiders, Beast Boy. Tell you to hang in there and stay strong. We’re all here for you.
Sly: I’m sure he is. Speaking of which, last, but not least... Superboy. Superboy, we’re sure wherever you are now, this song will reach you.
Ross Caliban: (sympathetic) I know he will. Now let’s go!
>With that, Ross Caliban and the Trendbenders play their song, Lion’s Adventure.
DISCLAIMER: Young Justice: Phantoms takes place a year before the events of this post, so we have no idea what’s really going on now.
>After their song, the parade moved on.
Fairy Godmother: Such a great song for such great friends. And now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. To ring in the Holiday Season, ladies and gentlemen, SANTA CLAUS!
>With that, a large sled pulled by eight reindeers comes up in front of Lacy’s Flagstore. And driving that sleigh...
Tumblr media
Ho ho ho! Happy Holiday’s everyone!
Tumblr media
(whispering) I should really thank Jolnir later for doing this.
Oracle: That Santa looks different from the one we met during the Hasetsu Heist.
Reuben: Misma historia, diferentes versiones y todas son ciertas.
Caesar: Same story, different versions, and all are true. Even us scientists know that.
Maria: (happy) That’s for sure.
>Maria smiled at Caesar who couldn’t help but blush.
Anya: Yeesh. We’ve only been here a few minutes and already they’re going goo goo eyes.
Gwen: Well the fact that they’re both scientists help. And that they’re both at that age.
Danika Hart: Something tells me Santa want to wish yo all a Super Happy Holidays. I heard he came here with Thor.
Fairy Godmother: It just goes to show the big guy is just full of surprises and wonder... (whispering) Like how Hades has something planned.
Danika Hart: You say something?
Fairy Godmother: (quickly) Nothing, dear. Anyway, this concludes this year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade brought to you by Lacy’s Department Store here on 34th Street. This is Fairy Godmother.
Danika Hart: And Danika Hart saying to you...
Both:
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!
Fairy Godmother: The Thanksgiving Day Race at Racer Academy will begin shortly.
Pema’s Voice: Dinner’s ready!
Tumblr media
Oh good. I thought it would never be done.
Liz: That sounds like a cliché thing to say.
Bolin: Can I help it? I just wish Opal could be here. But, Chief Beifong said that they were going to visit their relatives. Apparently, they have a holiday similar to this one.
Tumblr media
You’ll see her again soon, little brother. Don’t worry. They’re just planning things for the winter holidays.
Bolin: I know. Thanks.
>We all enter the dining room. The tables were set with more food than there could be. This will be quite the feast. Not too far, an alter was set the our departed love ones. Last time, the alter had pictures of Mr. and Mrs. Valdez, Oracle’s mother, and Queen’s father. This time, there were more: Rex and Caesar’s parents, Uncle Ben, Otto Octavius, Chisato Dojima, Mac Dennison, Rand’s parents, Wolf’s wife, and some guy called Paul Miller.
Katherine: I still can’t believe we’re putting up Paul’s picture there.
Orlando: He was our close friend back in high school. I think we should at least make it feel like he’s here with us.
Vincent: Yeah. Especially after... We should get started with saying Grace.
Tumblr media
Grace? I’m still getting accustomed to the customs of this world, so I have no idea what that’s about.
Tenzin: It’s how the people pray to their divine before a big feast like the one they have on this day.
Jinora: Like how we give thanks to the spirits for what they’ve done for us.
Tenzin: Precisely, Jinora. But I have to warn you, I’ve never actually had to say any of these prayers.
Rand: Don’t worry, I know a prayer that works best for everyone. My dad made it up and taught it to me.
Oracle: (working on her laptop) Hold on. Just... They’re answering.
>Then, split screen appears on Oracle’s laptop.
Tumblr media
Oh, good. We thought you forgot about us.
Queen: We almost did. Can you believe we only did a few heists this year?
Tumblr media
It couldn’t be helped. The other admin who runs the Phansite is trying to get into physical shape and hardly had time to help out. But he says he’ll try to work on it more in the coming year if he can.
Oracle: We’ll see.
Tony: So, shall we begin? Rand?
Rand: If everyone’s ready, let’s bow our heads.
>With that, we do so.
Rand: We give thanks to everyone and everything that makes this life as best as best can be. And as we are about to enjoy this wondrous feast, we hope that they continue being their best just as we will. We are thankful for friends and family who can be here now and those who can only be here with us in spirit. We pray that they will be with us for many years to come. For they make us who we are and we love them for it. So let it be. Thank you.
Everyone: Thank you.
Tumblr media
That sounds like your father, Sokka.
Rand: (looking at his parents’ picture) Yeah, it does.
Master Katara: I know. I miss him, too.
Rand: We still have his research on Medical Bloodbending. Have you read it, yet? We went through a lot to get it.
Master Katara: I have gone through most of it. It does sound like Hakoda was on to something. But I’m still unsure about using Bloodbending, even if it is for healing rather than hurting.
Rand: I don’t expect you to like it right away. Just give it some time to think it over.
Master Katara: (scoffing) When you reach my age, boy, you find that time has become a luxury.
Moss: Speaking of going through a lot. I just got the news from my mom about Dad.
Dr. Holiday: I heard. Does he still plan to take your grandfather’s garage?
Moss: (shaking his head) He’s decided to put that on hold until he can think it over a little more. But I think he might change his mind. Let’s just wait.
Tumblr media
Sounds like we have a lot to be thankful this day.
Meelo: Indeed, indeed. Now let’s eat.
Joker: Right, let’s not wait any longer. Itadakimasu.
Everyone: Itadakimasu.
Bertuccio and Baptistin: And bon appétit.
>With that, we begin to feast. We also managed to convince Tony to put a TV in the dinning room so we can watch our friends at Racer Academy race.
Tumblr media
Before we begin the next race, my sons, X and Speed, have something to say.
Tumblr media
We would like to dedicate this next race to some very special friends of ours who helped us a lot last year.
Tumblr media
Yeah, thank you for what you did. We hope you’re watching this. And have a Happy Holiday!
>With that, Speed and X get in their cars and the race begins.
>After a while, Speed won the race. We all cheered.
Wolf: Well done, Speed!
Joker: Speed’s one of the greatest racers in the world. After his father and older brother.
Tony Toretto: Hey, don’t leave my cousin out of this. And me and Lyla.
Joker: Yes, you guys too
Toby: ...
Erika: (worried) Toby? You okay?
Toby: (snapping out of his daze) Sorry. But that was a great race... Though I can’t help but think if... I’ve seen it before.
Erika: Maybe you did. You know, last year you just sort of disappeared for a few days. You didn’t come back until three days after Thanksgiving.
Vincent: Yeah. Come to think of it, we never did find out what happened to you. Maybe you did see the race while you were gone.
Toby: Maybe. I don’t know. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t remember.
Crow: What do you mean? What happened?
Toby: I don’t know. All I remember was going home from The Stray Sheep. The next ting I knew, I was lying on the sofa in the break room of the dealership... Two weeks later... Although, I think I do remember something.
Crow: What?
Toby: Before everything went blank, I remember running to someone... They looked like... like...
>Toby, with worried eyes, begins to look... at Bertuccio and Baptistin... Then, something comes to mind. A memory... of an antique car.
Toby: (whispering) them... R- Renaud.
PING!!!
Toby: (clutching his head in pain) Ugh!
Erika: (worried) Toby! Are you okay?
>Suddenly, I notice Yosuke and Moss having a slightly similar pain. And I’m not the only one. Boss, Yu, Marie, Rand, and Korra also take notice of what’s going on.
Yu: (worried) Yosuke, are you alright?
Yosuke: I’m... I’m fine. But Toby, he’s...
Erika: We better take him to the hospital.
Baptsitin: (getting up with Bertuccio) Better let us do it. We don’t want to ruin your feast
Erika: But...
Toby: I’ll be fine. I’ll go with them.
Wolf: (suspicious) Are you sure about that?
Dojima: (also suspicious) He’s right. We feel a lot better if I took him.
Toby: It’s alright. They’ll take care of things.
Tumblr media
Let them go.
Dojima: But...
Tumblr media
I know they mean no real harm. Just trust them. And trust me.
Dojima: ... Alright. I trust you, Sojiro san. Though, I still don’t trust them.
Wolf: Nor me.
>With that, Bertuccio and Baptistin help Toby up and lead him to the door.
>Outside just a little ways from the mansion...
Baptistin: (smiling) Well, kid?
Toby: (still in pain) I... I remember now... I met you guys outside The Stray Sheep. You told me something... Renaud... I remember... I’m...
>Then, Toby falls to the ground in pain... A sound is heard... The sound of an antique car... Bertuccio takes out a pair of square-shaped glasses.
Bertuccio: I think you’ll be needing these.
>Back inside, we were just thinking about how Toby is doing when we heard a car coming... Then we decided it wasn’t that important.
Erika: I wonder if he’s okay.
Chie: I’m sure he is.
Yosuke: I especially think so.
Moss: And me.
Korra: I hope you’re right.
Marie: (whispering to herself) Thought I doubt it will seem that way at first.
>Then, Bertuccio and Baptistin come back inside.
Bertuccio: I’m sorry to report that Tobias had to leave this party early. It’s no use going with him, Ali already took him away.
Erika: What happened to him? He didn’t catch COVID, did he?
Bertuccio: Don’t worry, he didn’t.
Baptistin: But we’re ‘fraid you won’t be seeing him for awhile.
>Erika was looking a bit down... Until Yosuke put a reassuring hand on her arm.
Yosuke: He’ll be fine. Don’t worry. You’ll see him again.
Erika: (feeling a little better) I think you’re right. Thanks, Yosuke.
Teddie: (tearing up again) Gwaa!!! Yosuke’s really matured up since we last saw him!
Yosuke: It wasn’t that long ago, Teddie.
Chie: If you call being missing since August not long.
>Suddenly, the sound of the front door could be heard opening and closing.
Panther: (confused) Who’s there? I thought everyone was here.
Baptistin: Yeah, we kinda forgot, we invited someone of our own to come. That should be him now.
>Then, someone comes into the dining room... Yosuke (and Moss are) a bit surprised by our last minute guest.
Tumblr media
Bonjour. It’s nice to meet you all.
Yosuke: You. From last year.
Teddie: (angry) Grr! I remember you. You’re the one who bopped me on the head with a wrench and stuffed us in your tiny car!
Young Nobleman: And I apologize for that. I am sorry.
Teddie: You better be, or next time, things are gonna get bear-y bad.
Kanji: (whispering) That threat won’t be taken seriously with “bear” in it.
Young Nobleman: I understand. Now, is it alright if you joined your table? I don’t normally celebrate Thanksgiving where I’m from, but I won’t turn down a chance to make new friends.
>We thought for a while... Then, Yosuke spoke.
Yosuke: I guess you can. I’m still reluctant because you stuffed me, my partner, and our friend in your car for days, but even so, you probably had your reasons. But just don’t do it again. Everyone was worried. They were again when I got wisped away here.
Young Nobleman: Don’t worry. I doubt I’ll have need to do that again.
>With that, the nobleman takes a seat at the table... on Toby’s seat. Erika is a bit uncomfortable, but allows it. She knows this person doesn’t seem so bad... Aside from helping Icicle Jr. abduct Yu, Yosuke, and Teddie.
Teddie: Come to think of it, we never did get your name. You drove off before we could ask you.
Bertuccio: Announcing-
Young Nobleman: It’s alright, Bertuccio, I can introduce myself. It’s the least I can do after what I did last year. Raoul, Baron de Château-Renaud. Of course, most people call me Chateau Renaud. But my friends just call me Renaud.
Tumblr media
Well then, Renaud san, welcome to our little family.
Renaud: Merci. Pass the tofu turkey, please
Harry: (eyes glued to the TV) Hold on, it looks like Speed’s going to win it again.
>Sure enough, the Mach 6 crosses the finish line before the other cars. Followed by the Shooting Star and Spoiled Brat.
Mr. Racer: And there you have it, Speed wins it again! Guess they weren’t kidding when they said he’s a chip off the old block... Or that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Whichever works. Well, that’s it for this year. Hope you all have a Happy Holidays and New Year!
>With that, the race was over. Skragg checks the time on his phone.
Skragg: (happy) Hey, if we hurry now, we can catch the second half of the skate off.
Queen: I guess we can.
>With that, Queen changes the channel to the Thanksgiving Skate Off.
Tumblr media
Welcome back. For those of you just joining us (probably from watching a certain race at a certain school), this is Nigel Thrall, originally of the UK then moved to New York City. Back in England, we don’t normally celebrate Thanksgiving, but since I’m one of the greatest skateboarders in the country (though not enough to get into the Summer Olympics, but I’ll see if I can get into the Winter Olympics), I’ve been asked to guest host the Annual Thanksgiving Skate Off this year. Right, now that we’ve seen the local skaters, let’s move on to the more out-of-town experience. First up, the one who came with me from New York, the “AmDrag” himself, Jake Long!
Tumblr media
What up!? Happy Thanksgiving! I’d like to thank my dad who supported me all the way. Thanks. I’m very thankful that you’re here.
Tumblr media
Thanks, Jake. I’m very thankful to have a son as magical as you.
Nigel Thrall: It’s a touching moment. Emphasis on the magical. Our next skater also hails from the States. From Canton, Ohio, Troy “T.K.” Kang!
Tumblr media
Whether it be in skateboarding or football, you know I can top them all.
Nigel Thrall: Confident. I admire that. Our next skater hails from the Land of the Raising Sun with a fiery temper to boot, Misaki Yata!
Tumblr media
That’s Yatagarasu, you damn limey!
Nigel Thrall: (laughing) Okay, Mr. Crow-boy. No need to flare up. Our next rider, also from Japan, the Skull Skater, Dai-
Tumblr media
Bwaa!!! Why does everyone keep callin’ me by my full name, yo?
Nigel Thrall: Alright, have it your way. The Skull Skater, Beat!
Beat: (whispering) That’s better. (out loud) I hope y’all ready, ‘cause da beat is on!
>The crowd is fired up.
Nigel Thrall: Wow, I’ve never seen a crowd so hyped up... Except whenever I arrive. Next up, also from Japan, Okinawa to be precise, he’s new on the scene of skateboarding, Reki Kyan!
Tumblr media
It’s nice to meet you all. Thanks for having us.
Nigel Thrall: That reminds me, joining him from Okinawa, he grew up in Canada where he mastered snowboarding and is now mastering skateboarding... Langa “Snow” Hasegawa!
Wolf: (surprised) What the?
Tumblr media
I’m glad the both of us could be here to make your Thanksgiving a great one.
Akane: I still can’t believe he made it to the big time.
Wolf: You knew about this?
Queen: You know that person? You have the same last name.
Wolf: Yeah... He’s my nephew.
The Phantom Thieves: WHAT!?!?!?
Akane: I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. Langa is Dad’s mom’s brother’s daughter’s son.
Wolf: My cousin told me that she and Langa were moving to Okinawa after her husband died. This was after we first visited Okinawa. But to find out that he quickly became famous in the skateboarding just after taking it up? It’s almost amazing... I really should get him something for Christmas this year. And Akane, I didn’t know you knew.
Akane: We’ve been exchanging emails for awhile. Who knew he was a fan of the Phantom Thieves?
Tony: (cocky smiling) What’s wrong with skateboarding?
Wolf: Nothing of course. It’s just hard to believe that the little kid I knew who practically shredded every mountain up north took up skateboarding and became a pro at it so quickly.
Joker: I know. I only started skateboarding a couple years ago, but I picked it up real quickly.
Skull: (cheering) That’s our Renren, always quick on the take. Makes me wonder if I should take up skateboardin' again.
Peter: And me.
Liz: Hey, don’t leave me out of this.
Joker: (watching Langa get on his board) I wonder if we’ll ever meet him.
Wolf: I’m sure you will. I can arrange that. But for now, let’s just watch this run. (cheering) Let’s go, Snow!
>With that, we watch the skate off while enjoying our feast with family and friends, new and old.
>Another successful heist.
Admin: Again, we apologize for how long and how late this post is. Like I said, the other admin who runs this site is trying to get into physical shape and hardly has time to help out. But he promises he’ll try to work on the Phansite more.
Well, Happy Late Thanksgiving and have a Happy Holidays.

Making Bonds ft.Akechi and the PT
Akira : Akira is the only bond Akechi had before the aftermath. Akira is the one one who has a romance route with him. His confidant rank starts at max level, but their bond still grows each time Akechi opened up his past to Akira. He found Akira the easiest person to talk about his worries. Akechi’s bond with Akira leveled up even more in a way that is similar to Futaba’s confidant link. Akechi told Akira his hopes in getting along with everyone, told him his little wishes, like going to the beach with everyone, trying the arcade, have study session together, camping out, go to movies, go to festivals, or generally be a normal teenager for once. Akechi’s last little wish is ‘to make Akira happy’. And told him that he couldn’t forgive himself on his attempt to kill Akira not even once but twice. And that while he trusted Akira, he had not been able to move on from his guilt. Therefore he wanted to make Akira happy, repay him and the PT for everything they’ve done for him. For accepting, and Akira told him that those are not necessary because for Akira, his greatest ‘present’ is having Akechi around to complement his life.
Morgana : Under Akira's request, Morgana followed Akechi around in a similar way he followed Akira. Akira asked him because he couldn't follow Akechi during the day (since he'll be at school) while Akechi goes to work. Surprisingly, they get along well. Despite Morgana being wary at first, he grew to genuinely care for the pancake boy as much as he cares for Akira and the rest of the PT. Morgana gave him a lot of life advices, and encourages him to make amends and not to run away from his fear. Akechi thanked him a lot for that. Akechi eventually grew fond of Morgana and learned the best way to take care of a cat. He groomed him every night. Learned ways to massage a cat, cat’s diet, and bought him cat toys. Which Morgana yelled at, since he’s not a cat! Though, when Akechi waved the toy at him, Morgana instinctively chase after it. He even used the scratch post Akechi bought him. Eventually, Akechi even learned how to cook for a cat, and it became Morgana’s favorite food aside from Sushi.
Ann : Ann is the first friend after Akira and Morgana. She's the one who took the initiative to take Akechi out on a walk. Akechi had to put on hoods and covers while he walks beside her since they're both well known people. She took him to eat desserts (especially pancake), shop for clothes (she commented on akechi's lack of clothes and especially that grandpa sweater and thus picked up a lot of stuff for him and his empty wardrobe). She's the first person who could sympathize with him because she had been in a similar condition against kamoshida. They told each other's stories, and bonded through that. Afterwards, he helped her in her modeling work to the point she asked whether he wanted to co-star with her. But he refused, had enough of idol life and pretending to be who he isn't. Ann didn't understand since she had always been herself though. They became bff real fast, and often went to eat desserts and pastries that rumors started appearing that says they were dating.
Ryuji: Ryuji came to hang out at Leblanc, but Akira was apparently out doing his stuff with his confidants. Only Akechi was there. There was a long awkward moment when Sojiro went out to smoke. Eventually, Ryuji gave up on the awkwardness and started a conversation. They traded really awkward conversations. "The weather's nice today." "Yeah" "How's things?" "I've been well, thank you for the concern" "So you started working at Leblanc, too?" "Yeah, the master was kind enough to let me stay." and stuff. Then Ryuji made a really long sigh. "Look, man, i still don't trust you.." He grumbled, made Morgana sneer at him, then continued. "But what Shido did to you is totally uncool man, so I... I get you, in a way. It's wrong, but, i dunno. If i were in your shoes, I might have done that too if not for Akira and the others." Ryuji told him about his father, about how he snapped at Kamoshida, the track team. Akechi listened. After hearing Ann's story and now Ryuji's. He started to understand how the PT come together. They were a bunch of folks in similar situation. Then he commented how he could probably be a better person if they had met sooner. Ryuji then yelled at him. "Then let's start now. You're just a year above us, yeah? You still got long years to go. We can start now, you know. Like, we can start being friends..." Ryuji looked away in embarrassment. It made Akechi smile. It wad the first genuine smile Ryuji ever saw from him. "Holy shit, a real smile!" He commented. Ryuji then noticed how thin Akechi had become since the last time he saw him. And offered to train together to build some muscles. Akechi revealed how he used to keep his appearance up, and how he used to do mountain climbing. Ryuji was interested, and the next day he know, he was out with Akechi to the gym periodically.
Futaba : Futaba bonded with him after Ann. One day, Sojiro hurt his back and had to be sent to hospital. Akira accompanied him to the hospital. Futaba wants to go too, but she's scared of going to hospital. Akira told her everything will be alright and she had school tomorrow so she told her to stay. She stayed at Leblanc until night, with Akechi (and Morgana) who's watching the store since both Sojiro and Akira went to the hospital. Morgana pushed Akechi to start a conversation since Futaba looks lonely and sad. He hesitated, but then starts to assure her that everything will be alright. That it's just a back pain and that Akira is with him too. She grumbled and doesn't speak anything in return at first. But then he made her curry, and she's surprised that it tasted just like Akira's curry. He told her that he had been learning from Akira. And that he knows how much the curry meant to her. And apologized once again. She grows angrier, saying that it's already fine and he already apologized about that. Awkward conversation falls again, until Akechi switched the tv channel and played featherman episode, a special episode played in the unusual hour. Futaba is surprised because she didn't know that it aired. But she's even more surprised because Akechi knows, and better, he likes it. They talked about Featherman until late (until Morgana told them to go to bed, actually). He walked her home, and she thanked him, though very shyly. Before he went back, she suddenly yelled "I've got it!". Akechi was surprised. But apparently Futaba decided to add one more "to do list" that involves Akechi. They started doing her to do list every weekend. First is to go to Akihabara together to watch a live show of Featherman together, next is for another Featherman fans gathering event and stuff like that. One day, they were walking around Akihabara together since Futaba needed to upgrade her PC. And there was apparently a maid cross dressing event which gives an expensive PC gear as winning prize. Futaba looked excited, but sulked that it's boys only event. Akechi then offered to enter in her stead. Both Morgana and Futaba were baffled in how he looked, and especially in how he charmed the audience with sexy gaze. He obtained the most votes, obviously, and won the gear for her. He asked her to keep it a secret from Akira and everyone else. But too bad, she took video of everything.
Makoto : Akechi saw Makoto again when he helped Sae with her work. Sae is now a defense attorney, and she opened an agency with Makoto, who followes her footstep as lawyer. Akechi sometimes helped Sae with investigation. Most of the time, having him give her new insights, or work as assistant on site. Sometimes he'd even do the spying job for her, along with Makoto, as normal teenagers. Makoto refused to trust him at first. And she even protested to Sae. But Sae returned with "his ability is not a lie.". One day, they were caught spying and got in trouble with the Yakuza. With his wit, Akechi managed to get them away from the chase. However, it involved them doing a crazy stunt with a bike (Makoto riding it). They managed to pull it out. Makoto got angry with him, of course. Not only he endangered her life, he endangered his own life too. Had Makoto not able to maneuver the bike with correct timing, they wouldn't be able to escape. And the bike was not ever hers to begin with. She never ride such a big bike before. Akechi stole the key from one of the yakuza. Along with a gun which he used to shoot down their chaser's car and bike. Then she noticed that he actually got shot too. She asked if he picked the back seat so he could cover for her. Akechi gave a pause, but then shook his head. "No, it's because i believe you're more suited to drive the bike, Niijima-san. And look, you pull it out brilliantly." with his detective smile. Then Makoto started to notice how Akechi won't hesitate to throw himself onto danger. And that he's doing whatever he can do to make up for his sins. She got angrier, and lectured him about it. It took a while, but eventually Akechi realized that he has become important to their teammates too. He realized it after Makoto told him how Akira would suffer if he's gone. She told him how depressed Akira is after his "death" in Shido's palace. And that got him thinking. Eventually they were able to be partners at work. Sae is proud on both of them.
Yusuke : Akechi never thought he'd bond with Yusuke.(though, he never thought he'd befriend any of the PT aside from Akira, actually) Yusuke was in an art slump again, and he had been visiting everyone in search of inspiration, apparently. So he said not to mind him and just think of him as a statue as Akechi continued his daily life. It was hard for Akechi not to ignore Yusuke, but he couldn't leave his job (this time, part-timing as a florist). Many kinds of customer comes. From an innocent little girl who wanted to buy flowers for her mother, couples in love, to a kind grandfather who wanted to buy flowers for his wife. Akechi listened to each of their request. Even to the couple’s capricious request. Yusuke saw the honest kindness in Akechi’s action, and was content in drawing it. Until someone came asking for bouquet for funeral. Akechi’s expression changed. Guilt was written all over his face. Thank goodness the store manager helped. Akechi laughed at how pathetic it was for him. He didn’t even knew who died, but he had become afraid somehow. Feared that he might have caused psychotic breakdowns unconsciously despite it being impossible now that the metaverse is gone. Yusuke asked that if he’s going to be overwhelmed by that guilt forever and whether he still can’t trust the phantom thieves as his friends. Akechi shook his head. No, he wants to break free. He’s not a doll anymore and he wants to find his own path to freedom. Akechi’s determination sparked inspiration in Yusuke’s mind. A few weeks later and after another few sessions of getting Akechi as his model (he had him stripped naked), and in one of the session, he got Akira and Akechi modeling together for a reason only Yusuke knows. Akechi was upset that the finished work doesn’t even include their faces or their naked body. It was a painting of a crow breaking free of its cage. The background was red, and the crow flew to towards a lump of light. Yusuke titled it “True Freedom”. It won first prize, and he gave the painting to Akechi as thanks for helping him. It was now hanged on Leblanc.
Haru : Haru is the hardest one to befriend. Not because Haru avoided him, rather, it was him who avoided Haru. Unlike the case with Futaba, where they managed to pass through the hurdle by sharing a similar interest in Featherman, he couldn’t bringhimself to get close to Haru. Their conversation always ended up short. Haru couldn’t bring herself to talk normally with Akechi either. She couldn’t forgive him for murdering her father, no matter what. She sympathized with him, but she couldn’t forgive him, yet, at least. It was Haru who took the initiative to Akechi, whom at the time was working with Makoto and Sae. Haru said she came expecting Makoto, but that was a lie that only Makoto knows. Haru secretly told Makoto that she wanted to get closer to Akechi, so that she can find a way to forgive him and finally accept him as a friend. Makoto helped, asking Akechi to help her work and told Haru that Akechi will be around for the day. Haru brought them coffee. Her own blend. And asked Akechi for his opinion. Akechi was surprised, of course. Why him out of all people, since Sojiro would be a better candidate. Haru said it’s because he’s been to many restaurants (and mentioned his food blog that he almost choke on her coffee). Akechi then confessed that it was just his method in gathering information so he could use them as conversation ideas with older people. And that he didn’t have that much of an interest in how the food tastes. But Haru still insisted. To their surprise, Akechi was able to give a good feedback. Though, it was mostly compared to Leblanc’s coffee. He figured that it must have be because he had started learning how to blend it himself. Thus, it continued, Haru kept bringing him her experiments, and Akechi keeps giving her feedback. Thinking that it would help pay her back. At one point, they found the perfect blend together. And with that settled, Haru decided to start up her cafe. Everyone came to help. When Akechi stepped into the cafe for the first time after it has been furnished, he just stood still, stare for a while, then smiled. “It gives off a familiar vibe, just like Leblanc.” He said. Haru’s cafe became his second sanctuary. One day when the thieves were partying at Haru’s cafe and she went to clean the dishes, Akechi offered to help. They worked in silence for a while. When they both attempt to break the silence, they spoke at the same time and it became more awkward, until Akechi braced himself to start the conversation. He apologized once again, for everything he had done to her and the others. And then thanked her. He noticed that she wanted to mend their relationship, and apologized once again that he was a coward for not being able to be the one to start the action. He commented how she’s strong and capable. That despite her family situation, she still pushed through. Haru commented that it was thanks to everyone who supported her. And then she added, she wanted to be everyone’s strength too. That includes Akechi. “I can’t forgive you for killing my father, but I believe you could change. You’re one of us now, and I trust you, as much as how everyone else trust you.” Haru said with kind eyes. Akechi thanked her with tears. Because he finally felt like he truly belong with everyone.

Imagine with me, please, after Akira leaves for home, everybody hanging out and doing things together? Everybody going to events for Yusuke's art. Ryuji complains the whole time and Ann smacks him for it, and it takes Futaba a lot of courage to come out to a crowded place but she manages to come sometimes, to support Inari. The times she can't, she bugs somebody's phone so she can still see/hear what's going on. Makoto and Haru can't always come because they got college and stuff, but they do their best to show up when they can. After the event they grab some ramen together, and someone pays for Yusuke's meal. Sometimes they all hang out at LeBlanc, just to chill out and do whatever work or studying they gotta do. Sojiro closes the store early a few times, and and somehow there's always enough "leftover" curry for them. He makes sure to give Yusuke some extra curry and tells him he is welcome to have dinner with him and Futaba any day, because the boy eats breadcrumbs on like a daily basis. Everybody decides to go to another one of Sae's court cases one time. The gang has to physically restrain Ryuji from yelling at her opposition when the guy is just generally rude, and Makoto shoots an apologetic look at her sister. When Sae wins her case, Makoto gives her a hug and they get some coffee at LeBlanc. Ann hangs out with Shiho and sometimes brings her along when she hangs out with the thieves, and Shiho notices how happy Ann looks with her friends and when Ann isn't around (getting Shiho a crepe or something), thanks everybody for being Ann's friend and to continue taking care of her. Everybody is overwhelmed by her kindness and it's all fuzzy until Ann comes back and asks what's up, and Makoto changes the topic like a pro. Later, Ryuji tells Ann that Shiho is too good for her and gets a "yeah" and a punch to the arm. Sometimes they all watch movies/tv shows together in the attic, and everybody always dreads when it's Haru's turn to pick the movie, because she either picks the cutest movies (which are fine) or the most disgustingly gory ones. There is no in between. Futaba makes everybody watch some sentai show and she strikes a billion poses with Yusuke. Somehow, she manages to rope everybody else into posing, and Sojiro takes a picture of them. Eventually, it just turns into watching bad horror movies. Everybody pretends not to notice how Makoto manages to get scared at nearly all of them, and she holds Haru's arm in a death grip. Haru just thinks it's cute. At some point everybody ends up passed out on the couch, and Futaba is the last one awake and draws on Yusuke's face. Ann wakes up and catches her in the act, and asks her for the marker when Futaba is done so she can draw on Ryuji's face. The group takes turns helping Haru tend to her garden. Sometimes they all help her out at once, sometimes in pairs, whenever they can they help. Someone suggests making flower crowns, and the next time everybody comes to help her she puts one on everybody's head. Ryuji goes fishing with Yusuke, and he sends Akira pictures of their catches. Yusuke poses with the fish before wondering if he can eat it. Ryuji then decides it's time to feed the starving artist and calls everybody up to get some cheap sushi. Akira's first planned visit back to the city is nearly ruined, because his parents just don't want him to go off and think he's gonna screw around and make some more trouble. He tells the group this, and suddenly Sojiro is on the phone with his parents saying he will personally drive down to pick him up, saying that it's no trouble at all and that he'd love to have the extra help at LeBlanc. These all kinda look like they're centered around Ryuji now that I look at it, but it wasn't intentional I swear lol I love the phantom thieves so much, they're all so good. Where are my pointless slice of life spinoff games, atlus

Homecoming
“Are you sure you want to head in there like this?  You don’t have to face this head on.”  Makoto’s the first to voice her concerns, as per usual, biting her lower lip as I turn to face her.  It’s the same proactive caution of hers that’s saved us so many times before.
“Ooh, a heist! Now you’re talking, Queen.” Mona chimes in, appearing behind my shoulder.  “I can recon the place before you head in and map out an optimal route.  I’m sure Skull can make some kind of obnoxious distraction for us,” he says, turning to aim a feline grin at my blond teammate.
Ryuji’s furrows his brow in a glare at the cat before turning his attention to me.  “Normally I’d tell the furball to can it, but he’s on to something there.  Makoto and I can keep ‘em busy while you do your thing.  We can fake some kinda argument, make it loud enough to get their attention.  Practically be doing the hard work for you.”
Makoto flips her hair with a devious smile as she steps forward to me.  “My thoughts exactly.  So, what do you say, Leader?  One more for the road?”
Without so much as a suggestion from me, my Thieves leap into action for my sake, already concocting an elaborate plan.  It’s a wonderful reminder of just how much we’ve come to trust and care for each other.
I shake my head at them with a wry smile.  “Take it easy, team.  This is a one man job and I’m the one man for it.”
Right now though, this isn’t a job for the Phantom Thieves.  This is something I’ve got to do myself, so I can close this chapter of my life for good.
“Please, just head back to the hotel with the others for now.  If I need a hand, I’ll text you right away. Okay?”
Makoto closes her eyes and sighs.  She knows just how stubborn I can be, especially about stuff like this.
“Fine,” she says grabbing my hand and squeezing it in hers.  “But you better have the message ready to send before you go inside.  Got it?”
I pull out my phone and show her it’s screen, displaying our group text, the word, “Jenga,” typed into the entry box.
She rolls her eyes at me, muttering, “Clever,” before giving me a peck on the lips.  “I’ll see you back at the hotel.  Be safe.”  Letting go of my hand, she begins walking back.
“Well, I’m not kissing ya, but good luck in there, man.  You say when and we’ll come running.”  Ryuji claps me on the back before following after Makoto.
Morgana leaps off my shoulder before doing the same.  “Watch your back, Joker.  There’s no telling what they might try to pull.  …Oh and we’ll pick up dinner on the way back!”
With a chuckle, I wave my friends off as they fade in to the summer evening.  As soon as they turn the corner down the street, my reassuring smile vanishes as a grim frown takes its place.  Withdrawing my glasses, I flick the arms open before sliding them on.  After straightening my spectacles with a push to the bridge, I breathe deeply and head up the road to the house I’m looking for.
My knuckles rap against the door five times.  Several seconds pass before the lock clicks into place and the door swings open.  Standing in the doorway, still clutching the door, is woman in her early forties with a head of flowing, but frazzled black hair.  She stares at me with her jaw agape and her eyes bulging.  Her hands move over her chest before she finally speaks up.
“Akira!?  What are you doing here?!  ...And why are you wearing glasses?”
I keep my hands in my pockets as I shift my stance slightly to the right, hoping my lowered brow and frown properly illustrate my incredulity.  “…Good to see you too, Ma.  Can I come in or…?”
She looks around in a panic before she backs away and opens the door further.  “O-Of course…!”
Adjusting the straps of the bag hanging on my shoulder, I exhale deeply from my nose as I head inside.  Past the front door, I kick off my shoes and look around the living space.  To no surprise, everything looks the same as it did a year ago.  I walk further in as my mother flusters at a distance from me, attempting to start up a conversation on something other than my sudden arrival.  Ignoring her, I walk upstairs and into my old room.
Inside, it’s looks like it’s been frozen in time.  If I took a picture of the place the day I left, not a thing would look different than it does now.  The same blue wallpaper, the same hanging open closet door, the same smashed action figure on my desk…  I don’t even need to see the dust to know this place hasn’t been touched.  Easier to pretend I was never here that way, I guess.
Letting my bag fall off my shoulder, I open my mental map and begin checking off items.  Books, toys with sentimental value, old Karate belts, what consoles and games I can fit in my bag and the folded up box inside it; all stuff I couldn’t take with me when I had to leave.  The box is pretty weighty by the time I’m done, but it’s nothing I can’t manage.  After one last look over the room I grew up in, I leave it for the last time.
Heading back downstairs, I see beside my mother a similarly middle-aged man with a head of close trimmed black hair and a dusting of stubble across his jaw.  Whatever conversation they were having is cut off as they both stare up at me.  The old man’s gaze is a bit sharper than ma’s worried grimace, but I’ve been accustomed to this paradigm for far too long to be fazed by it.
“Akira, why didn’t you tell us you were coming back today?”  My father’s quick to address the tension, attempting to establish control of the situation while he has the chance.
I continue descending the stairs as I respond to him.  “Hello there, father.  I just came by to pick up my stuff.  Didn’t think there was any need to make an event of it.”
My mother stammers, struck dumb by my blunt approach to this catastrophe.  My father is taken aback, but recovers more quickly.  “What are you talking about?  Son, you owe us an explanation for what’s going on here!”
“Actually, I don’t.” Reaching into my bag, I pull out a folded up legal document and present it to the both of them.  “As you can read here, I’m just an independent minor reclaiming his property.  Nothing worth talking about.”
With a flick of my wrist, I fold the paper back up and return it to my bag.  Dad lets his jaw hang open for a solid few seconds before forcing himself back into a cold glare.  Ma is wracked without outright horror, staring at me as though I’ve driven a knife into her heart. Her eyes well up with tears before she runs to my side.  Her filed nails claw at my skin as she grasps at my forearm, sobbing through her words.  “Akira, we’re so sorry!  We didn’t want to send you away!  When you were arrested we-“
“Stop.”  As gently as I can manage, I pry her hands off me while interrupting her.  “We don’t need to have this conversation.”
Dad steps in, breaking his terse silence. “I beg to differ, young man.  We sent you to Tokyo for your own good.  Holding that against us just isn’t-“
“Not one call.”  I cut him off.  “Not one letter.  Not one visit.  I was in Tokyo for a year without so much as a word from you two.  I went to prison and I never even heard from either of you once!”  Feeling myself losing my cool, I stop before I can get any more worked up.  Ice in my veins, I continue.  “I’m done here.  For any further inquiries, you’ll have to talk to my lawyer.”  Slipping Sae’s business card into my mother’s hands, I walk back into my shoes and out the front door.
Making it a few blocks away from the house, I collapse, my back against the barrier wall of the suburb.  Sinking down until I reach the concrete, the emotion pours out of me.  Setting down the box, tears run down my face as I grit my teeth and slam my fist against the concrete beneath me.
My first day at school.  Birthday parties.  Family vacations.  I spent so much time with the both of them.  I thought they loved me.  I thought I was their son.  All those years together and all it took was one crooked politician for them to abandon me entirely.  It’s nothing short of heartwrenching.
I lose track of time as I vent the awful feelings stored up inside me.  Stopping only occurs to me when I feel something wet on my right hand, the one not pressed against my eyes.  It’s not a proud moment when I realize the wetness is my own blood.
Sweeping away the gravel from the scrapes, I reach around myself to retrieve my phone without bloodying my pants.  Tapping through to my recent calls, I raise the device to my ear as the dial tone rings.  To no surprise, it’s quickly cut off by Makoto’s voice.
“Hey, are you okay?”  Worry is evident in her tone.  In the background can hear Futaba arguing with Yusuke, something about who got what pieces of the sushi selection.
I chuckle quietly into the receiver as I answer her.  “I’m fine, I’m fine.  Job’s done.  How’re things over there?”
“Inari, I swear I will reach down your throat and scoop that roll out if you don’t-“  Futaba’s threats echo through the room over what sounds like Ryuji attempting to restrain her.  It’s faint, but I think I can hear Haru giggling too.
Makoto spares them a snicker herself before answering.  “It’s a normal night for us.  Or, it would be if you were here.”  She pauses for a moment and I can hear the smile in her voice.  I can’t help but smile myself.  “Come back soon, okay?”
“Is that Akira?  Makoto, tell him to hurry up!  It’s a free for all back here!”  Ann yells directly to Makoto through the chaos of the room.
With a half-joking time limit set, I push myself off the wall and back onto my feet. “Well, you heard her.  I better get moving.  See you in a few.”
“And be quick about it.  See you soon,” Makoto says before she hangs up.
Finding my motivation renewed, I slide my phone back into my pocket and pick my things back up.  The way I handled things, some people might say I lost my family tonight.  I don’t see it that way myself.  After readjusting my bag, I head off into the night, back to the family I’ve made for myself.

head notes + sneak preview
[the story in question]
Thank you, those of you that headed over to Ao3! *deep bow* For those of you that didn’t, I’m copying that little note segment here and… I’ll spruce it up a bit.
Our protagonist obviously does encounter Ryuji, but by then it may be too late? Lavenza’s voice didn’t quite reach him, so he got a little messed up from the drugs. He’s drunk on power and not so much a closet pervert about how much it gets him off. It gets even worse once he finds out that his crush and his crush’s beau can use the same ability as him. They’ve both been screwed over by society and after little a bit of protest, decide to join Joker on his crusade. He hasn’t caused anyone any mental shutdowns, but that’s because he enjoys toying with them; loves planting ideas, only to remove them, leaving his victims confused as to why they committed a crime. He only messes those already corrupted. He has enough sense to not make grandma and grandpa go on a killing spree. I guess… he just loves knowing he has the ability to “do anything”.
Also, I realize that Akira kind of crushes on Ryuji more, but that’s because he sees him every day. He’s currently working on Yusuke, but… that’s a tough nut to crack since Ryuji’s hardened him up even more.
On the other side of this spectrum, we have Akechi. Without you-know-who poisoning every inch of his mind, his law enforcement career is not a farce, but he’s more a student now than an ace detective. He gains a genuine friendship with the Niijimas, and he and Sae bond over cases at the office or at the Ginza sushi bar. They have their hands full with mysterious cases of idols robbing department stores, or lawyers confessing they were paid to make their clients lose.
Sometimes all three of them get together to enjoy coffee at Leblanc.
Akechi was meeting Makoto at Shujin where he was unfortunate enough to get dragged along for the ride when Akira and company infiltrate Kamoshida’s Palace for the last time. Morgana stumbles across Akechi as the Palace is collapsing and Akechi decides to take his chances with the talking cat so he doesn’t get crushed to death.
Blah, blah, blah—Morgana helps him hone his multi-Persona ability and he becomes the new true protag… Which makes Akira the guy in the black mask. Ohh~hohoho!
I’ve had more thoughts regarding this wayward story.  I’ve been toying with the ideas of the two separate teams meeting and who’s gonna be with whom. AkiRyuKita is already a team. Since Akechi will have Morgana and Makoto, it’s only fair the boys get Futaba, no? I’ll probably let Team Akechi have Ann, because she gets along with Makoto just fine. Haru’s my wild card, but I’m leaning towards her going with Akira. She can’t escape her fiance, her father even agrees to them moving in together, and becomes a little jaded by the turn of events. Maybe Morgana still finds her first, but she’d rather have Akira’s “take action and make them pay” promise come true.
*scratches head* ‘s still a work in progress, but if you guys keep being interested, I’ll keep trying. Onward!
Akechi Goro felt a weightlessness about him that hadn’t been there before, even with his new knowledge weighing heavily at the back of his mind. Sae placed a hand to his shoulder and he forced himself not to lean into her. Too long since he’d had such a comforting touch.
“I’ll take you out for sushi this evening,” the prosecutor told him, guiding her hand to his opposite shoulder to give it a squeeze. This was a side of Niijima Sae Goro had never seen. It was intriguing, but still pleasant. He wouldn’t mind if they spent more time together, which he hoped they would be.
“Oi."
Both Sae and Goro’s attention was drawn to the white-tailed, white-pawed black cat that brushed against Goro’s ankle and weaved its way between his feet.
Sae hummed softly. "A black cat at a funeral. Cliche, if not a little worrying."
"He’s mine,” Akechi chuckled. “I guess he got lonely waiting."
"I did,” the cat scoffed. Only Goro heard the spoken words.
Sae heard an annoyed snuff. “Seems like it.” She smiled, giving Akechi’s shoulder a squeeze before releasing it. “I think my purse might be able to fit him. Let’s sneak him into Ginza."
"I like her! Yes, please! I’d love to go with you for sushi!"
The cat changed its trajectory and headed for Niijima, but Goro bent and scooped him up. "Shh,” he whispered. “Morgana. We’re paying our respects."
Morgana scoffed and settled into the teen’s arms. The cat knew for a fact that Goro’s respect for Shido had been miniscule, if not nonexistent. The only reason they attended the service was because Sae herself invited Goro.
Morgana fought to free himself from the cradling arms and jumped up onto Akechi’s shoulders. He pressed his front paws to the back of his head, staring out at the sea of people. The teen chuckled, allowing himself to be used as a pedestal for the cat. He hoped the gossip that would be born from the pictures would all be good.

I wrote that… over a month ago. Time stamp says July 9th. As to whether I’ll use it again, can’t say, but I figured I’d share it with you guys :3

Yusuke doesn't eat enough and collapses randomly, thus sending everyone into panic attacks
Thank you for the prompt!! I didn’t expect to finish this tonight but I put myself into third gear and I did. I can’t believe two of the things I have on here are about Yusuke collapsing. And both times he does it into Akira’s arms. What kind of deja vu is this. Anyways hope you like it!!
Haru didn’t expect her first trip to Mementos with the other thieves to go as it did. It started well. They were easily ripping through Shadows and going deeper into the darkness. The public’s palace was menacing, but seemed to be more bark than bite.
Then after a battle, everything went a little haywire. As Haru and the others were heading back to Morgana and his van form, Yusuke collapsed. He was just talking to Akira about when he was next going to upgrade their tools, then he spaced out and fell into the other boy. The others began to panic promptly.
Ann squeaked from the other side of Yusuke, hands flying to her chest. Akira’s eyes widened and he quickly moved to support the boy in his arms better. Haru could hear footsteps pounding towards them from behind her. She also heard Mona change back into a cat and scamper closer.
Makoto slid to a stop in front of them as she came running from the van. Her eyes were narrowed as she studied Yusuke, “What happened?”
“We were talking and he…” Akira explained shortly. He adjusted Yusuke in his grip so the boy’s head rested against his. There was a frown on Akira’s face, he looked like he was thinking hard.
“What could have caused it?” Haru asked, a hand going to her chest subconsciously.
“It’s nothing Shadow or Persona related, I can tell you that much,” Futaba informed them, removing a hand from the side of her bulky mask.
Akira’s frown deepened while he picked Yusuke up. He shrugged his shoulder so the taller boy’s head leaned against it. The other’s were very cautious, making sure to not get in the way as he did so.
“He probably didn’t eat enough,” Akira said seriously.
The others frowned. That was a very likely possibility. Yusuke barely got by as it was, that is when he even remembered to eat. It wouldn’t be odd at all if he didn’t get enough nutrients in order to work effectively.
“Damn, this guy,” Ryuji shook his head with a sigh.
Makoto crossed her arms across her chest. Her voice sounded urgent, “We should head back to a safe point for now. It’d be best to wait for him to wake up before we go back. I believe we’ve done enough work for today.”
Akira nodded in assent. They waited for Mona to retransform and then they were off. Haru watched pointedly from the backseat. Akira sat Yusuke in a mostly upright position next to him. Yusuke’s head was resting on Akira’s shoulder. She could see the taller boy’s shoulders rising and falling with each breath. Ryuji sat on Yusuke’s other side. He was turned inward just in case anything happened.
Futaba was in the front next to Makoto, guiding them back through the maze that made up Mementos. Ann sat next to Haru. She had squeezed herself into the corner of the seat, arms wrapped around herself. Haru lightly nudged the girl’s foot with her own. Ann looked up at her.
“What’s on your mind?” Haru asked softly.
Ann averted her gaze to the row in front of them. She inhaled loudly and exhaled quietly. She shrugged, “I’m worried about Fox, that’s all. He’s never really focused on himself all too often. I wish something like that was easy to change.” Ann laughed tenderly.
“It’s true, something like that isn’t easy to get rid of, but we can help him,” Haru used her best supportive tone. She reached to place a reassuring hand on Ann’s wrist. “We can remind him to take care of himself and to eat. We can make sure he’s had something to eat everyday. We can be there for him.”
Ann nodded, a warm smile on her face. It made Haru smile, too.
Once they reached the safe point, it didn’t take long for Yusuke to come to. The Thieves were greatly relieved when he did, a whole wave of tension was released. Haru could practically feel it. They confirmed with him that he indeed had forgotten to eat dinner the night before and hadn’t eaten since lunch yesterday.
“Fox, you have to think about yourself more,” Makoto scolded him, a slightly disappointed frown decorating her face.
“Yeah! We were worried there was something really wrong with you,” Ann whined, her panic still tinting her voice.
“I’m truly sorry to have worried you this much,” Yusuke apologized. He still seemed out of it, but able to take in the scene.
“We don’t need an apology, man, we need you to take care of yourself,” Ryuji said tiredly, resting an arm on Yusuke’s shoulder.
“Even if you don’t like it, we’re gonna help you with this. Good thing you’re used to us,” Ann was smirking.
Haru nodded, “Yes, all of us have decided to aid you. Make sure you eat when you should and the like.”
Yusuke took a second to look around at the group. He then smiled and nodded, “I greatly appreciate your concern. I know I won’t stop you, so I will accept your help.”
“Ha, you know you’re stuck with us,” Futaba laughed.
“Well then, shall we get going? I think it’d be a nice treat if we all get sushi,” Makoto clapped her hands together.
“Aw, yeah! I’m down,” Ryuji cheered.
Akira smiled, “Me too.”
“Me three!” Futaba raised a hand.
“You better get me something good, or else!” Morgana threatened, though he still looked cute while doing it.
The ride back to the top of Mementos was much more lively with Yusuke awake and with them. A machine couldn’t operate with one of the parts out of commission. Haru giggled at the thought. The Phantom Thieves were a smoothly working machine, and would gladly wait for the rest of the parts if one were to temporarily malfunction. Then they would be right back in alignment and hard at work.

Persona 5 Artbook Translation: Character Profiles (Quick Preview)
As a personal side-project, I’ve decided to translate parts of the AMAZING Persona 5 artbook (seriously, I’d recommend it... though beware as it contains major spoilers). So, as a Happy “Day-P5-Was-Supposed-To-Be-Released-Except-Lol-Delay” present, enjoy some character profile information, a lot of which is really interesting. Don’t worry, there are non spoilers in this. (One of the profiles DID contain a MASSIVE SPOILER, but I’ll remove it when posting it here). This is more a rought draft and “sneak preview” than anything. Just wanted to get these up by today. I’ve done everyone except Haru (who I’m about 90% on) so far. (I don’t intend to post the final party member as promotional materials kept them under wraps, so I want to respect that.) I’m mostly doing this to practice my translation skills, so I’ll be doing these on my own time when I feel like it. Be aware that they take a while, so bear with me. There are probably translations of the artbook info already out there, but I’ll stay away from them: I want to see how much I can translate on my own. So here’s the rough draft of the profile info, with translator’s notes.
Protagonist: Gender: Male
School Year: 2nd Year Senior High
Codename: Joke
Arcana: - (Wild Card)
Initial Persona: Arsene Ryuji Sakamoto:
Gender: Male
Height: 175 m
Weight: 61 kg
School Year: 2nd Year Senior High
Star Sign: Cancer
Blood Type: B
Codename: Skull
Arcana: The Chariot
Initial Persona: Captain Kidd
Family: Lives with his mother
Talents: Sprinting (Personal best at 100m was 11.2 seconds when he was still a regular athlete*), Drinking a 500 ml bottle of carbonated water in one go (did it as training during his track and field club days. When he was active, he could also do 1000 ml bottles)
Habits: Taps the ground with his toes when he’s bored.
Hobbies: Reading (but only Manga), Muscle training (feels uneasy unless he keeps up the abdominal and back muscle quota he did as a regular athlete)
Favourite Food and Drink: Beef bowl, junk food like hamburgers. Likes ramen especially, and is fussy about the flavour and texture of the noodles. Teased for having a “child’s tongue” because of his weakness for bitter flavours and egg.*
*For reference, Usain Bolt’s best time is 9.58 seconds, so Ryuji is pretty good for a high school student. * Not 100% sure on this translation, being allergic to egg myself I’m not really sure of how it tastes the the stereotypes associated with liking it. Morgana:
Gender: ???
Height: 50 cm (Including tail)
Weight: 3.5 kg
School Year: -
Star Sign: ???
Blood Type: ???
Codename: Mona
Arcana: The Magician
Family: None
Talents: Lockpicking, Repairing machines
Habits: Licking forelegs
Hobbies:  Watching TV (Likes the news and detective shows)
Favourite Food and Drink: For some reason they are particularly choosy about food, so they like high-quality sushi and meat. Complained about tinned cat-food and biscuits at first, but now really likes them. * I’ve keep gender pronouns ambiguous, since the profile lists Morgana’s gender as “???”. * For some reason, Morgana’s initial Persona isn’t listed in their profile. Not sure why. Anne Takamaki
Gender: Female
Height: 168 cm
Weight: I completely forgot! (in English)
School Year: 2nd Year Senior High
Star Sign: Scorpio
Blood Type: B
Codename: Panther
Arcana: The Lovers
Initial Persona: Carmen
Family: Father and mother (both away from home), also lives with servants
Talents: Nearly native-level English (also reasonably good at English exams), no shyness or social anxiety around strangers (though she’s not really aware of it) *
Habits: Plays with the ends of her pigtails when she’s thinking about something.
Hobbies:  Enjoying TV Dramas, Games (Portable game consoles besides Smartphones)
Favourite Food and Drink: A sweet-tooth, irrespective of whether Japanese or Western. Especially cake, would rather eat cake than regular meals. Has a weakness for crepe special menus like “extra extra cream”. Dislikes carbonated juice.
* I think the nuance of this is like “it comes naturally to her”. Could either be that or “she’s not self-conscious”. Yusuke Kitagawa:
Gender: Male
Height: 181 cm
Weight: 63 kg
School Year: 2nd Year Senior High
Star Sign: Aquarius
Blood Type: O
Codename: Fox
Arcana: The Emperor
Initial Persona: Goemon
Family: All alone in the world (Mother and father both in the next world) *
Talents: Drawing artwork, economical dining (using his own self-taught method that thoroughly calculates cost-performance)
Habits: Posing as if drawing the rough-plan of a painting with his finger *
Hobbies:  Going for a stroll (as a bonus, it also saves on travel expenses), people-watching
Favourite Food and Drink: His knowledge of the aesthetics of food, such as ingredients, cooking method, and serving, is vast, and he’s committed to them himself, however the reality has yet to reach the ideal. (Mainly money-wise)
*  While “Orphan (both parents deceased)” is technically a valid translation, the original language used here is very flowery, which is probably part of his character, so I decided to keep that.
* Actual verb used here is “cut”, as in cutting the air with his finger. I can pretty clearly imagine what this actually refers to though, so I hope I got the feeling across. Makoto Nijima:
Gender: Female
Height: 164 cm
Weight: …Do I have to answer??
School Year: 3rd Year Senior High
Star Sign: Taurus
Blood Type: A
Codename: Queen
Arcana: The High Priestess
Initial Persona: Johanna
Family: Older sister (lives with her)
Talents: Housework, Aikido
Habits: Putting her hand on her chin when lost in thought
Hobbies: Reading (Regardless of genre, including sci-fi and manga), Touring (after exams finish)
Favourite Food and Drink: Seafood, light meals. A bit of a health nut, so she’s obsessed with nutritional value and a balanced diet. * Cares about things like eating 30 different foods a day *, less than 5g of salt a day, blue fish being a great source of DHA…
*  The term used here is just バランス (“balance”), but it think it implies more than just a single word.
 * Eating 30 different kinds of food a day was a government-sanctioned nutritional plan in Japan in 1985. Futaba Sakura:
Gender: Female
Height: 149 cm (She insists she’s 150 cm)
Weight: Hint:  0 kg < x < 1000 kg
School Year: 1st Year Senior age, but doesn’t go to school
Star Sign: Pisces
Blood Type: AB Negative *
Codename: Navi/Oracle
Arcana: The Hermit
Initial Persona: Necronomicon
Family: Sojiro Sakura (Adoptive father)
Talents: Programming, Hacking, Gaming
Habits: Squatting anywhere, speaking in internet slang
Hobbies: Surfing the net, playing games, watching anime
Favourite Food and Drink: Curry, Instant Yakisoba, Sweets. She does like home cooking, but out of concern for her busy mother she used to pretend to be satisfied with instant meals that require minimal housework. It just seems like she “only eats a certain kind of instant Yakisoba”.  *
* Positive/Negative blood type distinction is rarely listed in Japanese media, and over 90% of ethnic Japanese are Positive, so this is VERY unusual.
*  Possibly a direct quote from her? And the “certain kind of instant yakisoba” is probably something that shows up in the game itself, I’ll probably understand this better once I play the game. Haru Okumura Coming Soon.
