I had so much fun working on this comic, and so much love and thought went into making it! It ended up being so much longer than I ever thought it would be. This is 39 full pages, and I've been working on this since Nov 2022! Drawing them is a delight, though :)

Panel 10: Five looks suspiciously down at Allison, reaching over her head. He says, "Why are you still here." Allison aloofly says "No reason. Where's this woman you married without telling anyone?"

Panel 11: An image of Delores, who is actually a giant bug spirit, appears behind Five, who looks uncomfortable. He says, "Uh. None of your business."

Panel 12: They are revealed to be standing on Five's front porch, as Five opens the door. He says "If I give you hot chocolate will you leave," and Allison responds "Deal."

Panel 13: In Five's warmly lit kitchen, Allison delightedly drinks a mug of hot chocolate and Five pours himself coffee. End ID.]

sometimes you encounter a spirit problem you can't solve on your own and you break into your teacher's house about it. and then because in addition to being your teacher hes also a family friend you decide to interrogate him about why hes being so weird and secretive. Just normal things!

I love the idea of Cass enjoying dance. It's an outlet that allows her to express herself without words, and I think she would enjoy the highly technical aspect of ballet combined with its storytelling and emotional side. and as a former dancer I always have fun imagining my fav characters do ballet :)

karen is MY special white woman. my problematic fave. because i understand why she sucks. i think in order to be allowed to be a karen fan you have to actually understand why she sucks. if you don't understand why she sucks then you're a bad karen fan i think.

#feel like shit just want her (my ability to draw) back #I’m slowly recovering but it’s taken a month just to acknowledge that I burnt out in the first place so like #it’s VERY slow going #I have been reading a lot of comics and looking at art though and that’s been helping a ton! #this is the first week I’ve actually wanted to draw and been able to draw a bit and it’s nice but still very tiring #I’m hoping college helps and doesn’t make things worse but we’ll see #and I have learned a big lesson about time management #also in my free time instead of drawing I’ve gotten into transcription it’s very satisfying! #I would like to add this is not necessarily one specific thing thisbis the product of a LOT of various stressors building up #during a long period of time #but things have calmed down a little bit now and I’m actually acknowledging the issue and getting somewhere 👍
