people seriously pretending EEAAO is overrated suddenly bc it swept awards? it swept awards largely because it is very very very good. I cried like someone who's just had a religious revelation BOTH times I watched it bc it touched something raw and real and beautiful but it was also just very, very funny. everyone's performance kills and the concept is creative and interesting and doesn't distract from the emotional core. you guys are just contrarian.

For anyone who likes romance and spies and yearning and a short king being completely head over heels for a woman that can (and does) kick his ass, Argylle is the movie for you. Feel like the marketing team is leaving money on the table by not appealing to the romance crowd that is crying out for more genuine love stories on film and the one in this movie is actually really sweet and features an attractive couple with actual personalities.

Disney released another mediocre live-action movie in which Jack Black was cast as the hero. I can’t recall much of the plot, but I do remember he was traveling across some fantasy world with a giant blue caterpillar. At the end, the caterpillar turned into a big, muscular, four-armed DILF and he and Jack Black got married. Tumblr went crazy over the caterpillar man and flooded the site with fanart of him.
