Forget me not, hibiscus, iris, oak and zinnia for the hc meme
forget - me - not : has your muse ever forgotten something that is or was important to them ? are they afraid of forgetting things like that ?
GOSH no i don’t think so. regulus holds onto the things that are dear to him, even long after they’re not “supposed” to be dear to him anymore (ie. the people who have been disowned, blasted off the tapestry, etc). he keeps a small, locked trunk under his bed containing his “treasures” that are actually just things like old letters andromeda and sirius have sent him, small gifts they’ve given him, photographs, and other keepsakes that remind him of the moments in his life he’s not supposed to care about. he doesn’t often look at it but regulus is very careful to guard his inner-most thoughts both from other people seeing them but also from he himself losing them.
hibiscus : how does your muse view the gentler , daintier things in life ? as things worth preserving & caring for , or things only bound to wither & disappear ?
he’s sort of... halfway between these two things. regulus has a taste for luxury, he enjoys the touch and smell of the flowers and the quiet solitude of a walk through a winding forest path. these things are gentle, “dainty” and he thinks a person who can appreciate them is a person who can seek comfort just about anywhere. but on the other hand he recognizes that all of these things are so fleeting. flowers are doomed to wither and even forests may die, and so i think he knows that nothing is eternal, and in his pessimistic mind certain things are just not worth holding onto.
i don’t think he’d go out of his way to protect these things because of that cynical attitude and because regulus himself keeps his intentions close to his chest, but he does have an appreciation for them.
iris : if your muse could convey one last message to someone they have lost or left behind , what would it be ?
that ‘someone’ is probably sirius and that message is probably ‘sorry.’ i don’t even know that he could unravel what he’s sorry for because there’s too much of it and most of it is something he can’t exactly express, because he doesn’t know how. and there are parts of him that don’t even want forgiveness because he doesn’t think he deserves or has earned it, but he does think that sirius deserves to hear his apology.
oak : who would your muse consider the strongest person they know ?
basic answer but probably sirius? or andromeda? both of them left the family in a way that he could not, and i do think the both of them paved the way for him to one day betray voldemort and cut ties with his family’s ideals. he was just following their lead, even if he came to the same conclusions much later than they did, and to worse effect.
zinnia : how has the loss of fallen comrades and/or loved ones affected your muse ? has it taught them anything or given them any new perspectives ?
this leaves him a little conflicted, because his ‘fallen comrades’ are most likely other death eaters and while he was close with some of them, there are others that he recognizes deserved the fate they suffered. like “rip but you were dangerous, so.” after having experienced all of the things that he has, i think regulus views “death” as just another truth of life and he’s somewhat desensitized to it. he’s seen so much of it. he doesn’t think there’s any such thing as true and foolproof “safety and security” and he lives the rest of his life being incredibly physically guarded.
that said, if sirius died regulus would obliterate the person that did it and not feel even a little bit bad.

In What Ways Will The Heavy-Duty Diagnostic Kit Help You?
For every mechanical material that you use there will be a problem arising at some point in time. At that particular part of the time, you can get the help of the diagnostic kit which will help you come over the problem that is happening inside your mechanical part. In that way, the Volvo heavy duty diagnostic kits will be helpful for you to detect the problem that is taking place inside your device.
HOW WILL THEY HELP YOU?
When you take the JCB data laptop kits this will contain all of the instruments that you will need for repairing your device. Before you handle them you need to get a clear idea about them so that you can properly handle them.
On the other hand, if you have a look at the new Holland case diagnostics kit this will be very much about it for you to know about the problem that is taking place inside your device without opening them. You can just make use of the software which will be helpful for you to X-ray things that are inside the device.
If you have a look at the previous times people will be able to find the problem only after opening the parts. But in the recent technology, everything has been updated and in that way, you will be able to read the problem that is inside the device by having a look at the monitor and you will just have to incorporate a probe which has a camera to note down the issue and easily repair them.
These are some of the different ways and how the heavy-duty diagnostic kit will be helpful for you. Get a clear knowledge about it before you make use of them.
The rustling sounds in the forest are not trees, but diners.

2021: May The Fourth
Columbine seed head looking like the Grinch’s fingers:
A little grainier than I’d like but I dig this little guy trucking along the edge of a chocolate mint leaf with a raindrop on its back:
And they whispered secrets to one another:
We went out to Plot 420 to harvest Romaine lettuce. The dirt road was a sloppy mess so we parked on the blacktop & I walked down to the plot:
I was on the gray side when I took this shot so it was raining on me already:
Cool sky & a sweet orange port-a-potty:
Today’s Plot 420 harvest - Romaine lettuce:

[ID: A photograph showing a spicebush swallowtail caterpillar on a stick above some grave. The caterpillar is bright orange and yellow, with large eyespots on its front half, and sets of two grey dots above each leg. The caterpillar has its front raised up slightly, and the eyespots on its back make it appear that it is lifting its head to look at the camera. End ID.]

These come in orange and green, and caterpi is probably based on the green one!!! When they’re threatened they have little “horns” that come out of their head that smell terrible to scare away predators!

Giant wood moth, Endoxyla cinereus, Cossidae. Found in Australia.
Giant wood moths can have a wingspan of around 23 centimeters. Larvae are wood borers, and along with other similar species, are commonly referred to as witchetty grubs. An interesting twitter thread here explaining how the term witchetty grub was derived from an indigenous term

bay tree : does your muse seek glory & accolades , or do they favour a simpler , more personal life ?
definitely closer to the simpler, more personal life.
the thing is — regulus actually does want praise and validation, but not on a global scale. he really only cares about the opinion of his own circle of loved-ones and so they are the ones with whom he is the most boastful, performative, open. if regulus shows you something that he can do or something he’s created, it’s because he values your opinion very deeply and he wants you to know the extent of his abilities.
that said: regulus isn’t an idiot and he doesn’t really want anyone to think he is. the general public would know only enough to understand that he is capable and powerful and full of knowledge, but not quite know how deep that knowledge really goes.
angelica & chamomile !
angelica : where does your muse draw inspiration in life ? what motivates them ?
magic? understanding? i know that’s such a basic and open-ended answer but it’s been a while since i spoke about how regulus absolutely loves and respects the power he’s born with. he views it as an extension of himself, as an omnipresent and near-sentient force that is to be explored and experimented with and marveled at. he’s interested in dark magic not because he’s bad or wants to do bad things but because he views magic as a whole and singular entity that is incapable of being either good or bad and is merely subjected to the manner in which one uses it. he will grant that some of it is dangerous; he will grant that there are some pieces of magic that a person should never explore beyond pages in a text. but he thinks if you’re going to wield magic respectfully then you should understand it and you cannot understand it if you disregard an entire branch of knowledge both ancient and modern.
regulus knows much more than he’ll ever get credit for and he is, tbh, a whole nerd. most of the things that he does are in an effort to know his own power better and in that he grows to be rather powerful, but also well-rounded. it’s why he was able to identify a horcrux based on 1 vague comment and a slippery account of an event for which he wasn’t present, but also why he knows, for example, how to dance around his words with the deep forest fae.
chamomile : what is your muse likely to take away from a painful experience ? are they one to be haunted by adversity , or to use what they’ve gone through to become stronger ?
a little of both? he’s faced a lot of adversity that he will never fully leave behind and that will continue to shape him throughout his life, but at the same time regulus has learned from his mistakes and is insistent upon continuing to do so. he thinks if he stops learning, stops using those experiences to grow then it’s a form of disrespect to all the people he hurt while he was making the mistakes. as if to say “i’ve changed, and now i’m done!” without putting the work into making sure he’s actually, actively chosen a better path.
regulus does enjoy luxury and he can have moments of restful idleness but on the whole he’s an incredibly determined and driven individual, and he will always be doing something to make sure he doesn’t fall into his own trap again.

pansy, violet, & sage!
pansy : does your muse often reflect on their own actions ? do they ever think a lot about the past , and what they could have done differently ?
yes, but really only after he’s become disillusioned both to his family and ‘the cause.’
at some point regulus recognizes that many of his interpersonal failures (mainly relating to his brother) were to his own inability to accept blame or wrongdoing, and his inability to reflect back on himself. he was willfully blind and ignorant to the goings-on in his own household, refused to accept that sirius was a victim and not an aggressor, and refused to acknowledge the part that he himself played in all of that. this catches up to regulus at about the same time as everything else (it hits him all at once, so he was absolutely not having a good time) and he vows never to fall into that trap again. a post-disillusionment regulus (age ~18+) is very careful to reflect back on himself in everything that he does,
as for looking back and wondering what he could have done differently, yes and no. i think to some degree he really can’t help doing that, especially in his darkest moments (of which there are many, in the beginning), but he doesn’t like to and he does recognize how dangerous it is. regulus tries not to think too hard about it because he doesn’t want to go down the path of believing that he could or should have done anything differently, knowing that he can’t actually change any of what he did.
violet : how does your muse respond to betrayal ?
it super depends on the nature of the betrayal, and who is doing the betraying. having gone through everything that he did, regulus does to some degree understand what makes a person act as they do, even when they’re doing something terrible. he understands that the people in his society were raised the same way as he was and so he knows why it is that they think and act like they do; he doesn’t think it justifies their behaviour or actions, but he does think he’d be a hypocrite to act totally surprised when one person or another betrays him.
that said, if someone was to cause great personal / physical harm to himself or his loved-ones, he’d absolutely obliterate them and not really think much of it. regulus is not beyond revenge and he’s very much a morally-gray person throughout his entire life.
sage : what is your muse’s legacy ? what do they want to be remembered for & what might they actually be remembered for ?
speaking in terms of canon, because his survival verses are a little all over the place, he’s not really remembered at all tbh. if anything he’ll be remembered by those who did know him as a death eater and a gullible fool, because even though harry might one day reveal the truth, i doubt it’d be far-spread and i doubt many people would care by that point. “regulus bIack who?”
regulus himself doesn’t necessarily want to be remembered for anything or the other. i don’t think he ever sought widespread glory, or else he wouldn’t have died making every effort to conceal that secret—he’d have loudly and proudly made his betrayal known. i think he would want to be remembered as an intelligent person and a powerful wizard, but beyond small glories within the circle of his friends, i think he’s typically uncomfortable with the limelight.
