Kept these two off school today as they have been really unwell with colds. Appreciation post! This phenomenal woman is a terrific auntie and the kids are always so excited to see their Auntie Lucy. She's so much fun! She came to visit recently and entertained the children for hours while I got to sit down, with nobody touching me or asking for snacks. Don't get me wrong, I love Mum life and I've changed my life drastically so that I can have more time with my kids, but sometimes I get serious sensory overload and just need a bit of space to feel human again. My children really struggled with the heat today. This is not a picture of a child falling down the stairs.
