Hallo ihr lieben Menschen da draußen auf der ganzen Welt. Mein Name ist Fanny und ich bin 5 Monate alt. Ich komme ursprünglich aus Rumänien seit ein paar Tagen darf ich nun aber auf einer Pflegestelle im Raum Baden-Württemberg Leben. Ich liebe es wenn ich einfach nur gestreichelt werde, besonders am Kopf. Ja ich weiß eigentlich sehr unpassend für Hunde aber ich genieße es in vollen Zügen. Ich bin sehr aufgeschlossen, Welpentypisch verspielt , und manche Geräusche oder Situationen machen mir noch etwas Angst. Ich liebe es mit meiner Pflegemama und ihrem Hund durch die Wiesen zu spazieren, zu rennen und einfach nur Spaß zu haben. Kinder im neuen Zuhause sollten schon etwas größer und standfester sein da ich einfach noch ein bisschen verrückt bin. Verrückt aber ein Herz voller Liebe. Daggi – sportliche Frohnatur

Daggi ist ein Welpenmädchen, welches mit ihren sieben Geschwistern in Deutschland zur Welt kam, denn ihre Mutter Gina wurde trächtig, aber dennoch rechtzeitig, auf eine Pflegestelle nach Deutschland geholt, damit sie hier und nicht im Rifugio Arca Sarda, ihre Welpen zur Welt bringen konnte. Zwei Wochen nach Ankunft auf der Pflegestelle, nämlich am 17.12.21, erblickten Gina’s acht Welpen das Licht der Welt und mit Unterstützung der Pflegemama kümmerte sich die Mutterhündin seither liebevoll um die Kleinen. Alle acht Geschwister haben sich zu aktiven, gesunden und neugierigen Welpen entwickelt und einige von ihnen sind bereits zu ihren eigenen Familien umgezogen. Da wir den Vater der Welpen nicht kennen, können wir zu den Anlagen, welche die Welpen mitbringen, nur bezüglich der Mutter Angaben machen. Mama Gina ist ein Rauhaar-Segugio-Mischling von 43cm. Sie ist intelligent, sensibel, aktiv, gelehrig und anhänglich, zeigt deutliches Jagdinteresse und ist viel mit der Nase am Boden unterwegs. Daggi’s Motto ist: Volle Kraft voraus. Sie ist neugierig, witzig und durch fast nichts zu erschüttern. Daggi sucht auch draußen oft den Kontakt zum Menschen, zeigt sich sehr anhänglich und verkuschelt, flitzt aber auch gerne einfach fröhlich durch die Gegend und erkundet alles was ihr vor die Nase kommt. Für Daggi suchen wir also aktive Menschen, welche das Temperament und Wesen eines Jagdhundes schätzen, ihm genügend Aktivität und Beschäftigung bieten und ihn fördern und fordern möchten. Wir schätzen, dass Daggi zwischen 45cm und 50cm erreichen wird. Die zukünftigen Menschen in Daggi’s Leben sollten sich darüber bewusst sein, wie anstrengend und zeitintensiv ein Hundekind ist, denn Welpen müssen erst die Stubenreinheit erlernen, sie knabbern gerne alles an und machen dabei ggf. auch vor Möbeln keinen Halt. Sie müssen und wollen alles lernen, was man wie, wo und wann tut oder eben nicht tut, d.h. hier sind Menschen gefragt, die mit liebevoller Konsequenz und Geduld dem Welpen das Leben erklären. Ein Welpe kann sich noch nicht schützen und ist damit auf den Schutz seiner Menschen angewiesen. Das bedeutet, dass er nicht alleine gelassen werden kann, insbesondere nicht nachts, eine Bezugsperson sollte immer für den Welpen greifbar sein. Wer einen Welpen bei sich aufnimmt, ersetzt dem kleinen Hundekind die Familie und sollte ihm Geborgenheit und Zuspruch bieten.

Er ist sehr verspielt und sportlich. Verträglich mit anderen Hunden. Wir können uns Peter Pan sehr gut in einer Familie mit Kindern vorstellen

Peter Pan hat riesige Fortschritte gemacht, er lebt mittlerweile komplett mit im Haus so dass er auch alle alltäglichen Haushaltsgeräusche etc kennengelernt hat, jetzt fehlen nur noch die passenden Menschen

Seine Pflegemama berichtet:

Geboren April 2016, ursprünglich aus Rumänien. Peter Pan landete mit seinen Geschwistern in einem rumänischen Tierheim wo er auch die ersten Monate seines Lebens verbracht hat. Peter Pan ist nun seit knapp 4 Wochen in Deutschland.

Anfangs war er sehr gestresst, die ganzen neuen Eindrücke, der Transport, neue Menschen, Hunde usw. haben ihm zu schaffen gemacht. Mittlerweile hat er sich aber gut erholt und entwickelt sich jeden Tag etwas mehr. Mittlerweile spielt er auch mit seinen Hundekollegen und hat seine Vorliebe für Hundespielzeug entdeckt, mit diesem kann er auch stundenlang alleine durch den Garten flitzen und freut sich seines Lebens.

Auch Wasser hat er für sich entdeckt und liebt es im Teich zu plantschen. Er ist stubenrein, bleibt auch (momentan mit 2.Hund) mal ein wenig alleine, anfangs weint er noch etwas, was aber immer besser wird und mit etwas Routine und Eingewöhnung sicher kein Problem sein wird. Peter Pan ist ein unsicherer Hund , er ist kein Angsthund, aber sehr unterwürfig mit Menschen und möchte einfach nur alles richtig machen.

Er kann sich stundelang streicheln und schmusen lassen. Schnelle Bewegungen oder Gegenstände in der Hand verunsichern ihn noch, aber auch das wird immer besser. Er hat einen so tollen und treuen Charakter dass er mit seinen Menschen sicher durch Dick und Dünn gehen wird, Voraussetzung ist seine Menschen sind ausgeglichen und verfügen über das nötige Feingefühl ihm Sicherheit zu geben.

Ein souveräner Zweithund wäre sicher toll. Um ihm die besten Voraussetzungen zu bieten wäre eine ländliche Gegend ideal, ein eingezäunter Garten wo er ganz unbedarft toben kann wäre natürlich ein Traum. Kinder sollten auf jeden Fall schon älter sein da er sich bei zu viel Unruhe sehr schnell zurück zieht. Also wer möchte unsern Peter Pan kennenlernen und einen Freund für’s Leben gewinnen? We saw my son's foster brother a couple of weeks ago. He's been moved to a different placement, and I wasn't sure if we would be able to see him again. My son absolutely loves his foster siblings, so I am hugely relieved that we have managed to get in touch with this lovely lad's new carer and arrange to meet up. We had a fab morning catching up, and at the end, my son's foster brother gave him this toy car and told him he wants him to have it. He's played with it every day. A lot of people talk about sibling relationships and how important it is to stay in contact with blood siblings who are placed elsewhere. Don't forget foster siblings too. 2 years ago, after weeks of video calls and socially-distanced outdoor meetings with his foster family, Covid restrictions eased and I was able to be in the same room as my new son. On day 2 of our adoption introductions, I said "hello" and smiled, as I crouched down next to him. He reached his little hand out and touched my cheek for a moment, looking at my face intently. The day before, he had cried when I picked him up. I wasn't sure how long it would take for him to feel safe near us, so when his little hand touched my face and he looked at me, it was a really special moment. Had a blast with Zoe at the @adoptionconnects #Summer BBQ today. I manned the lending library where people could browse the books that Adoption Connects have for them to borrow, including the children's books I have written. Zoe enjoyed showing a few people her illustrations, but was mostly playing or on the bouncy castle 😊 I donated some of my books and also my favourite books by birth parents to the lending library. This clever "upright" computer mouse is such an essential tool for me, I felt it deserved a shout-out. I'm so grateful that this mouse exists. The normal ones are so painful for me to use. I've mentioned before that I'm a #writer who can't really write. An #illustrator who can't really draw. I have #fibromyalgia and #hypermobilejoints, which mean I can't hold a pencil or use a normal mouse for more than a couple of minutes at a time, or my hand seizes up, and my elbow and shoulder pain goes from tolerable to horrendous. I really wanted to #illustrate my recent #fostercare #book "Room in the Nest," by myself, so I learned how to create backgrounds digitally (I love making clouds and rainbows 😍) and how to digitally edit pictures. So I don't need to draw very much at all.
