daily reminder: selfshipping is for you! its definitely only ever *for* you! i completely understand feeling self conscious or weird for having a f/o, or gushing about a fictional character because we were a part of an era where it seemed odd or weird; but i assure you, its not weird! its comforting, its safe, its fun. you get to gush about your f/os or even your most favourites, the ones that have been with you FOR YEARS or recently came to you from new things you got into!!!

i know its really difficult to get your mind off that and let yourself enjoy it, its hard when you told yourself you wouldnt selfship EVER AGAIN then you came back to it because it made you happy but you are so afraid to gush openly or talk about your selfship, or talk about your f/o in fear of it being weird or odd; again, its not! its totally ok.

its a learning process, but do whatever *you* wanna do with your selfship <3 even if it may be scary or you are so incredibly self doubtful that you shouldnt do it because its silly or dumb, its not but its ok to have those thoughts! push through it, because youll find yourself falling in love again or remembering why this was so fun to you. it takes time, sure, but you will get through it. 

again, its not silly, or weird, or dumb, or odd, or even stupid to selfship. dont let others cruel words decide your life, your f/o loves you even after years of not seeing you, they love you and are so happy youre back; they missed you.

Hey. I'm not really one to throw my hat into the ring over any kind of discourse or anything like that, it's really not my style. But it is really upsetting seeing mutuals, especially my friends, openly and honestly kinda viciously put themselves down.

I struggled a LOT with self love/acceptance, and I know how hard it is to achieve it, but I promise you the effort is SO worth it. Self shipping, whether it's a coping mechanism or a hobby, is something that should make you happy, not sad, and believe me it is detrimental to your health to constantly be making a mockery of yourself, especially through the lense of something that you LOVE.

I know each one of you has boundless love for your f/os and for each other, turn it INWARD. Make your f/os as crazy about you as you are about them, even if you don't really believe it at first and I promise you that over time you will and self shipping will be more fun than ever.
