13 Goals of a Witch: Exercise the Body
A reminder that these are my interpretations of the Goals, and that yours may be completely different than mine. That's totally fine!
What does it mean?
This one is self explanatory. Physical exercise! It's part of what keeps our body functioning and healthy. Take it from a witch who used to be morbidly obese and had a lot of health problems before he turned things around!
But there's also exercising the mind. The brain is a muscle like any other in your body and it needs its own exercise. Sometimes we can neglect that as much as the rest of our body.
How?
Not everyone can do the same exercises. People who've never exercised a day in their life would probably collapse if they attempted a full on workout routine!
That being said, find what works for you. I started out with walks. They were leisurely at first, but I've built my way to almost running now. I've added other things too. But you don't have to. If all you can do is a five minute walk, do that! Walk and enjoy your surroundings! Make it enjoyable for yourself! Just like with food, exercise is meant to nourish the body, find what nourishes you personally.
As far as the mind goes, again find what works for you. You can read, do art, put together a puzzle, watch Jeopardy! Anything that gets the brain moving and growing. What does that look like for you? That's something you'll figure out, I can only make suggestions based on things I enjoy.

Okay, are belly button piercings "trashy," or do you just associate them with femininity, or women, or sex work and strike it down as inherently less worthy? Are 'tramp stamps' "trashy", or do you just associate them with femininity, or women, or sex work and strike it down as inherently less worthy? Is pole dance "trashy", or do you associate it with women, or sex work and strike it down as inherently less worthy?
These are examples, but I find it interesting when people link things with womanhood or femininity or - gasp! - sex work and then immediately condemn, scrutinize, and dehumanize those who even dapple a little in these things, even if it isn't for sex work or to "look trashy." It's funny how the feminine or woman is seen as trashy until proven otherwise, and it's shameful that people still hold the bias that women must prove their humanity by not "being trashy" or "acting like a hooker."
