Pleasing is larrybaiting. Again.

Il 14 giugno esce la nuova borsa Pleasing. Con il lettering in verde in edizione altamente limitata. E guarda caso l'altra versione in vendita da tempo ha il lettering in blu. Sta davvero diventando imbarazzante e patetico questo continuo larrybaiting. Una compagnia senza alcuna vergogna (vabbè, non c'è da stupirsi) che sfrutta il nome di Harry e sente il bisogno di fare presa su questo lato del fandom, ma alienandolo ben volentieri in altri contesti.

Ma si sa, i soldi fanno girare il mondo, spesso con buona pace dell'etica. Da tempo ormai sembrano infatti determinati a seguire questa strategia di marketing. Ciliegina sulla torta: la foto per promuovere gli smalti mostra anche uno smiley parecchio simile a un altro di nostra conoscenza. Ho già detto patetici?

E perché mai cambiarla quando sono già riusciti a prendere in giro un sacco di fans facendo loro credere che dietro a Pleasing ci sia Harry e non... sorpresa, sorpresa: Jeff (e la sua famiglia). Ma basterebbe fare una semplice ricerca per scoprire la verità.

Ecco, magari quelle persone ancora parecchio confuse sulle "strane" scelte promozionali, o addirittura convinte che Pleasing appartenga ad Harry e per questo investono una barca di soldi su quei prodotti, potrebbero dare una lettura a questo utilissimo post:

I found the following Pleasing information on a Tumblr blog. This is not my research: - Pleasing, the trademark, was registered in April 2021 in the US, two days after Jeffrey Azoff’s subsidiary Empty Leg, LP was registered in the State of Delaware. Jeffrey also owns the entity Emptyleg Manager, LLC - Emptyleg Manager II, LLC entity is owned by someone named Osborn Curry; will update as we find more info UPDATE Osborn Curry works under THE AZOFF MUSIC COMPANY LLC. Both entities are confirmed owned by the Azoff family. -Pleasing, the trademark was registered in the UK in May 2021 by Emptyleg, LP. - Pleased As Holdings Limited was registered in May 2021 in the UK, by Harry Styles, and lists himself and his assistant Emma as directors. Erksine Records owns all the shares to Pleased As (PLEASING AS IS NOT ASSOCIATED TO PLEASING, the Delaware registered company) Bases on this information it looks like Harry is nothing more than a brand ambassador for one of Jeff’s companies. Registering Pleasing As and sending out Press Release saying Harry was starting a lifestyle brand, him wearing the products, being a hand model and promoting it on SM was enough to convince his fans it was his company. He is a willing participant in promoting but it’s not his company in any legal way. This borderlines fraud if true. Jeff knows H’s fans will buy any thing he is associated with including $65 nail polish.

Yeah, if you look up pleasing with the U.S. trademark office, you can see it's filed by Emptyleg

Emptyleg is a private jet chartering company and it has ties to the Azoffs

In my opinion, Harry has very little to do with the actual brand. I think he gets a nice cut for promotion but is he in the lab mixing up new colors? I doubt it.

If you still want to buy the brand knowing this, I get it. I mean, I bought a frog bucket hat after Harry wore one. I just think people should be aware if they want to support Harry, there are other ways to do it. I also think the company being filed this way is clear to me this is just another way to make money, and for that reason, if you want to find quality make up, skin, and nail products there are probably other companies you can do to that have similar products for better or lower prices and better quality

What does it really matter if it’s exclusively Harry’s company or not - we know he’s connected to it and will get a cut of the profits. That said I really wish people who are clueless about business would stop drawing these uninformed and wrong conclusions. Especially when they - as op here - has a very obvious agenda... (that post being made by some former-harry-fan selfhelp club it the least surprising thing..) I was pretty much done talking about Pleasing but okay i'll explain.

PLEASE read my Pleasing timeline to better understand the difference between the Pleasing brand, patents, and domains as well as Emptyleg LP/LLC and Pleased As Holdings Ltd. Okay let me break down those images:

Image 1 : A state of Califonia ‘Application for Registration of a Foreign Limited Partnership‘ for Emptyleg LP, the owner on the Pleasing trademarks. Now “foreign” in this context means outside the state of California, not outside the US (which it seems these people took as “proof”). This application is needed because the company is registered in Delaware (likely for tax purposes, look it up, I’m not explaining it..) but it was incorporated in California. This is very standard procedure for this type of company. The explanation that “Harry is on tour, so his manager registered the company” is ridiculous. He couldn’t find time to fill-in that form ? LOL Nothing in this has Harry’s name on it.

Image 2 : Now, first of all this image has no connection to the previous document. This is information on Harry's company Pleased As Holdings Ltd. on gov.uk. Pleased As is a company incorporated in the UK (hence the Ltd. prefix). I don't know why they crossed out the addresses as it's Harry's lawyers' office and these are public records. Harry and his assistant Emma Spring are listed as directors. Erskine Records Ltd is listed as person with significant control with ownership of shares: 75% or more. According to the company profile the co. is in the business of “wholesale of perfume and cosmetics”, however, besides the similar name, there are no direct links to the brand Pleasing nor to Emptyleg. Mixing apples and oranges..

Image 3 : A screencap from the US Patent & trademark office stating the Emptyleg LP and Emptyleg Manager LLC are the owners of the trademarked phrase “Find Your Pleasing”. Nothing in this has Harry’s name on it.

Image 4 : Basically the same as image 1 - an application but for an LLC. Again “foreign” here means outside the state of California, not outside the US.

In conclusion there is nothing in any of those 3 documents mentioning Harry or any of his companies and certainly nothing that proves Harry is “the sole owner”. I’m not saying this is proof he isn’t involved, because of course he is, we know that - but that post is proof of nothing except how op obviously has an anti-harry agenda...

At The End Of The Day.

Lately life hasnt been the best, as i feel like everything is crashing down. No matter how hard i work, things just keep getting worse. Im mentally and physically exhausted.

What makes the matters even worse is.. i just feel lonely. Empty.

No one wants me, in college im always walkig a step behind my friends in the hall ways, always left out of their conversations. They dont bother to know what im thinking of, if im okay, why am i so silent, why am i always out of it, why am i not the goffy silly me. But then again I remember.. who am i?

Always the thoughts that i have been running from come hunting me back. That im just a nobody. Im just a waste of oxygen. No one care about ur existence. You are just there to be there for no reason.

It feels like eveything and everyone is pushing me off of the cliff. While i try not to let go, they just keep pushing me, laughing, not caring, and giving me nothing but evil looks.

I am a good person and i know it. I never meant to hurt anyone, nor do i think of it. I never judge people, or talk about them behind their backs. But then at the end of the day im treating like im a sin.

At the end of the day, i have no arms to hold me, no shoulder to cry on, no voice to tell me “ good job, im proud of you”. No one to rock me to sleep, kissing my head and reaping those words. Just having someone their, to get me to love life, or even try to.

To have something to look forward to, or even someone. It got to the point where i feel like, even when i die you wont matter, you are a nobody to remember. You are just a broken piece.

Just hoping one day i will be fine, happy, and stable. Nothing but relaxed and chill. To be able to hangout with my friends again, draw again, read again, love the people around me again, and love myself again.

The G550 (GV-SP) with improved engines received its FAA type certificate on August 14, 2003. In 2014, Gulfstream looked at a re-engine with the Rolls-Royce Pearl BR700 development announced in May 2018 for the new Global Express 5500 and 6500 variants but preferred the BR725-powered, 7,500 nmi G650. The 500th Gulfstream G550 aircraft was delivered in May 2015. As it is replaced by the $54.5 million Gulfstream G600 with a lower range but with a better cabin and cockpit, faster long range cruise and lower fuel burn, it could leave production in 2019. Deliveries went from 50 aircraft in 2011 to 19 in 2016 and with 40 units for sale in a fleet of 540. Its valuation are falling: a 10-year-old G550 valued $28 million a year before is worth $18-$20 million in January 2017, while a two-year-old went from $40 to $35 million. In May 2017, early 2003 G550s are valued $14 million against more than $45 million new, flying an average of 425 h per year. In December 2018, a 2012-2013 G550 is valued $28-31 million, and it costs $7,135 per hour for 400 hours a year. As it was replaced by the Gulfstream G600 by October 2019, the G550 was kept in limited production for long-term special missions applications and government orders. Gulfstream ended G550 production in July 2021, with 603 G550s in service. The final commercially available G550 is to be delivered later in 2021.
