Okay I feel like at first Jeff would pretend that he is not into you..who knows why? His own deep insecurities? Or he just doesnt like the idea of how flirty you are? You know, he usually is the one making first move and toying with others (making them obv uncomfy, he act like definition of "white straight good guy" lol). But no worries, he does find you absolutely cute, thinks you are prettiest person walking on earth (and you are all that actually). Listen, he wont magically turn into huge simp..but! you make him feel things. Congrats, you have high chance to broke Jeff and make him lovely-dovely on his weird way towards you! No matter if you are already in relationship with him or not, he gest pretty possesive and jealous over you! Come on, you cant be all pretty and cute AND have everyone all over you! People who adores you might end up dead before you will be able to kill them. Definitely would try threaten people to stop talking to you..its up to you if you find it cute or scary tho!

Jane the Killer

Jane gives me huge femme fatale vibes so i feel like you would really vibe together (no matter your gender)! And come on!! She understands the need of revenge like no one else!! Jane wants to beat Jeff ass! Adores you so much..not only you are absolutely gorgeous but also pretty smart too! Appearance matter in some way to her, but I think she would actually be into intelect and personality more than how you look like. And the fact that you are such a great manipulator!! You will make her fall in love with you even more. She is such a cutie im telling you! Jane is jealous but she puts that aside all that aside and she just worries about your yeah well technically you cant die, but what damage your brain will damage your brain and stay for long time! She doesnt want you to get hurt, even if you are doing the big scary job here!

Eyeless Jack

Demon partner with demonish partner? Isnt that perfect? Yeah yeah, you are diffrent from eachother but definitely have common ground, arent you? Dunno why but I feel like your charm wouldnt work on him just becasue of what he is. That doesnt mean that he doesnt find your ass cute tho! He just you know..its not really obsessive but more of actual feelings. Even if other pastas fell in love with your character too, then Jack would be a bit diffrent and at first fell for who you are and not what you look like! When it comes to possible of jealousity, he is not that much of envious about people who you flirt with/or they flirt with you! He clearly understands that you do it more for your..entertainment and to cause chaos (and maybe some sort of revenge). Also he is immortal, you are immortal - best couple to ever exist! You will spend eternity with eachother so he doesnt have anything to worry about!

"Ticci" Toby

Damn reader, you will break Toby! He gets so shy and so blushy around you.. Especially if you are flirting with him! Doesnt really like the idea of you and other people being a bit flirty. He gets jealous easly and it leads him to being insecure and doubtful of himself - he knows that he is not perfect, and all your actions make him even more anxious. Toby does care so much about your opinion so he just bottles it all up, not wanting to mess up even more! But I bet you are smart human being and feel that something is wrong. Just reassure him that you love him a lot and he is way diffrent than people you talk to (well, he is in fact atill alive, isnt he) and he is good to go!

BEN Drowned

Ben is Ben, not a simple thought in his head. Yeah kidding, but he just cant help but simp over you so so much! Like he is down on his knees at your service the second he sees you! Dont get me wrong, you are not only what you look like but its the first thing he notices about you! It would be almost too easy to manipulate him, but we dont do that here..(at least I hope so). Anyway, he literally worships you, you are the most good-looking person out here! And he is a ghost, he has seen a lot. About your habit of flirting around and then watchin somebodys downfall? I cant say he is not jealous, but he wont show it. Also finds your actions pretty funny. Who doest like to see someone dying becasue of their stupidy? Yeah, definitely not Ben, loves the chaos you cause.

Cody enjoyes how flirty you are! Okay well, maybe he only enjoys that if you are flirty with him! For real, you get him all giggly and blushy to be honest. Its so easy to tease him and so fun to look at! Propably tries his best to do the same but fails miserably. Your relationship give me a bit of nerd x popular partner vibe lol! You know, he literally spends half of his time in lab or studying for fun + Cody propably stinks. Now here you are, having such a mesmerizing appearance!! (You are fun to be around to, lets not be so vain!) . At the same time he asks many question, its just in his nature to enjoy knowing things. He just cant help but wonder what or who are you..but who wouldnt want to know that?..And please try to get idea of testing you or making small experiments out of his small silly head!! He is weirdo like that! But at the end of a day he is your weirdo!

Heeeyy, I'm back with a new Helluva Boss opinion post thingy

Okay so, the Mammon episode- it was alright I guess? Tbh it didn't strike me as super awesome or anything, it's just kinda there?

Anyway, let's talk about it a little bit!

So I wanted to start off with Mammon himself, I'm gonna be honest I don't hate him but I don't like him either. I'll admit I do actually like his voice, I'm sure y'all might find it annoying but I dunno, I like his accent and the way he talks is kinda funny. His design tho? Eh, it could use some work.

For instance, his eyes are weird, like every time he was on screen my first thought was always: "Wow, he looks like Robin from TTG". I also hate how he's shaped like your typical "fat" character from cartoons. But for some reason they decided to give him skinny arms but a round body. He's weirdly disproportionate, which is disappointing because they definitely could make a better plus sized character design. But oh well, knowing Viv, she wouldn't even try.

I will admit his true demon form is kinda cool, except that I actually thought he was going to be a caterpillar or something but he's a spider? I swear, Viv has some weird design choices.

Moving on, the episode was cluttered as hell. It had way too much stuff in it, which made the episode feel eternal. Not only that but the episode has 4 songs.. FOUR FUCKING SONGS- When will Viv realize that not every HB episode needs a song? Like is this shit an animated series or a fucking musical? Make up your mind Viv-

Anyway, I'm glad this episode focuses on Fizz, but his character did feel a bit off in certain scenes, but aside from that everything else was fine. (I found that scene of Fizz talking to the deaf imp child while using sign language to be very endearing).

Alright, I'mma point out a few other things real quick:

Ozzie's relationship with Fizz is absolutely adorable and I love them so much. However I don't understand why they portray their relationship as a bad thing? Like, fucking Queen Bee is dating Vortex (who's a hellhound, and they are a lower class than imps) and nobody says anything and she's a sin- so why can't Ozzie do the same??

I also happen to noticed that Fizz and Mammon's relationship is similar to Angel Dust and Valentino's- I just hope they don't completely butcher my boy Fizz, because he's the ONLY character I genuinely like from this god awful series.

Edit: I find it outrageous that Fizz apologized to Blitzo in the previous episode for the accident and claims that yes, he was affected by it but he's gotten over it. Yet here, he's super insecure about it and seeks approval from Mammon. It doesn't make sense- I swear it's like the characters are evolving backwards (as in the character development just resets and they act like nothing happened).

I also just wanted to say that this character made me feel super uncomfortable throughout the episode (which I guess is the point, but honestly they didn't need to add him.) Like, was it really necessary to include this Reddit mod, Discord user incel with an obsessive personality to the episode? He doesn't really contribute much other than to probably trigger people who have dealt with some form of harassment like this, and to make Fizz look super helpless so that Blitzo can defend him.

Blitzo didn't contribute anything to the episode, they didn't need to add him either. Like we get it he's the main character but that doesn't mean he has to be in every fucking episode doing absolutely nothing other than saying a bunch of curse words or shooting someone.

In conclusion, I didn't like this episode that much. I was expecting more to be completely honest.

Sorry if this post was a little long- I wanted to write more stuff but I don't want to burden y'all with reading a lot of shit lmao. Anyway, that's all, love ya <3

EPISODE 4

Well.......I.....I got what I signed up for.

I got "Poison". That song I've been obsessively listening to since the day it was released. I finally got to see the visuals that went along with that song, and.....now, I don't think I can UNSEE them.

I hope that everyone who watched this episode is safe, and that...that the people who knew this would be too much for them took the warnings seriously, and....and looked away from the show....Hazbin is not a show that everyone can enjoy. It has a very specific audience in mind, and people who are outside of that audience...r-really should've gotten the point before this episode hit, hopefully....

This was a very....heavy episode. And it....did its job. I'm unnerved, disturbed, and holy crap....I just want Angel out of there as soon as possible. He's been through so, so much, and getting even a TASTE of that was absolutely soul-crushing......Valentino NEEDS to get his commupence ON SCREEN at this point. I regret calling him pathetic before, because seeing him through Angel's eyes....I don't wanna downplay how intimidating he can be. We need to see that guy get what's coming to him. I am waiting with baited breath for Angel to have his "2 Minutes Notice" moment now....

Also, anyone who says that Huskerdust will be a relationship built off of sexual harassment is WRONG. I always assumed there'd be more to it than that, so I'm super happy to comfortably ship it now. This relationship got off the ground not off the jokes, but because Husk is the one who sees right through Angel's persona from the word 'go'. He's exactly the type of person Angel needs. Angel is always hiding himself through his persona, and he needs someone to tell him to drop the act and admit that he needs help. And while Angel didn't ask for HELP in this episode, he DID let himself be vulnerable. Which is a big step for him. As well as that fight scene where the two bond, and he says that sex isn't all he's good at.

The thing about Husk being a former overload was something I did NOT see coming at all....I-I knew he made a deal with Alastor, but not that he was an overlord.....And that he still has some power left over from that....That's crazy....You'd think that people would recognize him, like.....Sir Pentious has been around longer than anyone, so why did he need to get introduced to Husk earlier, or did he not- I-I dunno, but...I like that.

The Huskerdust song was....OK. I liked the lyrics more than the music. I was SO worried that these two were gonna be like Stolitz where we're waiting forever for them to talk to each other while they're working on themselves. But in just one episode, they've opened up to each other a bit! No complaints!

N-not really much else to say....this episode was basically nothing but Angel's arc. Alastor is barely in this episode, which was a letdown for me of course....but.....no Alastor also meant I could focus on the other characters a bit better than usual, so it worked out.

What was that about Vaggie hating herself, tho....?

Great episode, hard to watch at times but that was the point, I still adore "Poison", and.....yeah....

Heartbreak High

The new one, not the old one.

This show has always managed to confuse me and I don't know if it's an Australian thing or a writer's thing. I'm pretty sure it's the former coz it happens every time I watch anything Australian.

But this season was even more confusing than the first. Like in the first season, it was chaotic to me how everyone ended up fucking almost everyone, I could not guess who was going to get together at fucking all. All it took is for these fuckers to make 4-second eye-contact and BAM sex, get a grip. Ig teenagers are actually like that and I'm just a loser. Anywho, this season, the only thing that confused me was Rowan's whole character arc.

Let me break this down:

He said that when he came to Hartley High, he was just ready to move on from his brother's death, or maybe he wanted to move on in Dubbo, I dunno I kind of didn't pay attention. But like, he started killing birds and terrorizing Amerie with them on the first fucking day of being there, because she didn't remember him?

This motherfucker went into the forest, while Ant was busy threatening to cut his dick off, killed a bird, and put it on her bag? Sorry but how fast does this man act? What a machine.

Then he dated her ex-boyfriend? For what reason? Was it strategic? I still haven't figured that one out yet. Like sure it'll make Amerie jealous but he seemed genuinely into him so I don't think that's it. Actually, thinking about it now, Malakai is hot and Rowan was all "forget Amerie" or whatever so that bit does make sense tbh. I cried when they broke up go away, imagine the person you're dating calls u by their ex's name? ugh sad

Then after breaking up with Malakai and getting his heart savagely broken, he just starts dating Amerie? At first, I assumed that was because he planned to hurt her emotions, but he literally spoke about her to 'Jett' like he was into her, so that confused me. I thought he hated her?

Like bro seemed to not have a plan. I know he's not mentally stable and all that but like what was going on in his mind? He's trying to ruin her life, but also likes her, but also thinks she murdered his brother.

And why did he tell Malakai to fuck off when he started dating Amerie? Like was that genuine possessiveness or was that part of the plan? (My little brain was like "awe he wants to protect Malakai from whatever he has planned at that dance so he's telling him to go away, cutee he still likes him" but I'm delulu so ignore that)

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF

His delusions just vanished with Amerie saying: "he died because he loved you" and a clip of Jett not being a part of Rowan's hallucination anymore... like excuse me, I need a clip of this man going to a therapist and actually acknowledging his schizophrenia, not whatever this form of fucking 'closure' is.

It was so half-arsed, it made me mad.

Man, I genuinely liked the guy, but it seemed like they created his plot 4 episodes into the season. Nothing linked.

Still was very obsessed with the show tho. The sarcasm and the sibling vibes were very entertaining. STILL THE PLOT MAKES VERY LITTLE SENSE. But, again I'm very bad at paying attention so I might've got it all wrong.

Side note: the principal's dog (Joan of Arc) with her little fuchsia-coloured vest were the highlight of this show for me, isn't that kinda sad? There is a scene where the principal is talking to Cash, and Joan is facing the opposite direction and I laughed at that for like 30 minutes, tragic.

HI I'm sorry this took forever I have honestly no idea why bc I adore these two and I ADORE this prompt so my brain should not have shut down the way it did. anywayz to make up for the wait i tried to make this a bit longer than my usual posts :) I hope you like it!

(also, as usual, everything here I came up with myself, and if there's any similarity to someone elses post I apologise and promise it wasn't intentional)

now without further ado,

Lance and Allura!

similar to lance and pidge, the two are decidedly Not close in the beginning

i had an entire thing about how i imagine they became friends at first written out, but it was a tad too long and i didn't want to clog up the post with too much exposition. so instead, let's just skip forward and get into their dynamic after they become buddies :) (however, if anyone wants to see the backstory I would not be opposed)

although he no longer has a crush on her, lance makes it a point to hype her up as much as he possibly can

at first allura was confused, because she thought it was him trying to flirt with her still, but once she understood what was going on she was more than willing to join in

lance when allura completely destroys the training droid: WOWZA ladies and gentlemen of the jury may I present to you the icon the legend the moment herself her royal highness princess allura of altea!!!!! if you thought that was impressive just WAIT till she gets warmed up because this is just the beginning!!! she can even do it in heels-

shiro: lance, please focus, this is really important that we-

allura: no no, shiro, please. let him finish.

they both show their friendship in slightly different ways. lance's way is that he is physically incapable of not humouring the princess

allura when lance shows her his cartwheel: incredible!!!!!!! i have never been more impressed in my life!!! do you think you could do it in heels??

lance: uhhh. y'know princess I'm really loving the faith, but-

allura: :)?

lance:.... what if you don't have my size?

lance fractured his ankle. allura has yet to stop apologising.

allura's way is definitely safer, but it's also a lot more... cluttered. to say the least.

allura, returning from a recon mission with a tiny bag filled with what looks like tiny, glittery dinosaur figurines made of glass: lance! look at what i bought for you!

lance, taking one look at the contents of the bag: wow, 'lurra, this is… so nice of you

allura: lance, are you. are you crying?

lance (definitely crying): what? NO! of course not!! I'm just. allergic, to. uh. oxygen.

allura: what.

allura never had any siblings back on altea, but she always wanted them

this, paired with how much lance misses his own family, means that the two of them kind of gravitate towards each other in terms of siblinghood.

as a child allura would imagine what it would be like to have siblings, but especially a twin. she would fall asleep to dreams of secret handshakes, finishing each other's sentences, and swapping places to trick people

she doesn't realise the brother she has found in lance until a long time after they've become close (how would she recognise a dynamic she has never been privy to?)

this realisation happens on just a random day in the castleship lounge. she is talking to hunk, when suddenly lance, who she didn't even realise was listening to their conversation, butts in and finishes her sentence.

she's annoyed at being interrupted at first, but then what happened sinks in, and suddenly she's fighting off tears. lance doesn't know why she's crying, but he hugs her anyway.

the two of them match accessories a lot

with allura's love of pretty things (and the abundance of stuff in her closet) paired with lance's natural dramatics, nobody else on the team is entirely sure of whether this is intentional or not.

it started off as intentional. it is now second nature.

one decision, however, was completely planned and thought out for exactly twenty minutes, and then deeply regretted by both parties for the next 48 hours

allura pierced lance's ears

now before you get judgemental, you try making a smart decision at two am space-time while very giddy and slightly buzzing on some weird old alien candy that not even your resident alien is sure the ingredients of. then talk to me.

pidge: okay so you're gonna need a needle, ice, and… yeah I'm pretty sure that's it

lance: don't we need a potato too

pidge: … why the fuck would you need a potato

lance: I dunno!!! my sister pierced her friend's ears one time and she mentioned a potato!!! I'm just trying to make sure everything goes well, pidge!

allura: I love these earth customs you two are showing me!! when I got my ears pierced it was done with some kind of laser, but your way sounds much more fun :).

allura: also, what is a "potato" and where can we find one?

it goes about as well as you would expect

the excited buzz on lance lasts about three ticks into the process, and then the screaming starts

pidge (the genius who came up with the idea) gives him some altean taffy to chew on to stop him from making too much noise, and allura, the angel, is babbling right along with him

allura, with tears in her eyes: how was I supposed to know it was going to hurt mine didn't hurt well it was 10,000 years ago and I was very young altean children don't have very strong pain receptors you know, maybe that's why my parents had it done at that age, or maybe your people are just completely barbaric, who thought this would be a good idea?? pidge why did you suggest this poor lonce is in tears lonce I'm so sorry but if it's any consolation at all at least now your ears won't be nearly as hideous as before and you can borrow as many of my earrings as you want except for the sparkly green ones that dangle those are my favourite well they're actually my second favourite I'm wearing my favourite - you can't borrow those either, by the way, but you can have any of the others I promise

lance, also crying and still chewing the altean taffy: hhb, llura yub domf hoff do bologuys, ss long'ss yub sanstsd thu niddle frst

allura (who did not remember to sanitize the needle), now crying freely: I don't understand what you're saying

(pidge records the entire thing)

the next day lance wakes up with ears that are very sore and slightly green, and allura faints

they spend the entire morning avoiding shiro in case they get in trouble and trying to figure out how to get the healing pods to work

lance: what do you mean you don't know allura you literally lived in one of these

allura: I was asleep the whole time!!! don't put this on me!!

lance: don't put- you are the one that pierced my ears, allura, of course it's on you!

coran, who has been watching this entire interaction in silence: oh, I thought i noticed something different about you, number three!

lance and allura: [screaming]

coran helps them set up the healing pod

unfortunately lance has to take the earrings out, so the holes close back up, but fortunately coran just so happens to know how to pierce ears the correct way that they did on altea

lance, after half a day in the healing pod, watching coran advance upon him with a literal handheld flamethrower that shoots lasers: is it too late to go back to the ear infection

coran is surprisingly very adept at the skill of altean beautification (an activity that has a surprisingly long and rich backstory, which lance and allura get an in-depth lesson on for the hour that it takes to do lance's ears properly)

they're exhausted afterwards, but lance looks great, so they're in good moods regardless

they like to teach each other about things from their respective planets - both for fun, and because it helps them feel less homesick

whenever allura is particularly down about the loss of altea, lance will visit her in her room, and the two of them will just lie together on her bed.

they don't say much, most of the time, just link their pinkies together and stare at the ceiling

when they do talk, it's quiet, and always allura who starts it - she might share something she remembers about altea, and lance listens quietly and then responds with something he misses about cuba

it isn't always sad tho - sometimes they just talk about things they remember that pop into their heads, or explain things to each other that they wouldn't otherwise know

at the space mall, they make a game out of pointing things out to each other and trying to guess what it is (allura can only guess when they're in the earth shop, but it's okay because she more than makes up for it in enthusiasm)

lance, holding a my little pony collectible: okay princess. what is this.

allura, completely serious: a weapon

lance: ... close

allura, holding up a set of magnetic heart necklaces to the light: what does… "biffs" mean?

lance: it's "bffs," princess, it means "best friends forever"

allura: oh! you mean like me and you?

lance:

lance: 'lurra what did we say about making me cry in public, we've talked about this-

(they buy the necklaces. obviously.)

they mess with each other's hair a lot

once allura learns that lance's hair is naturally curly, and that he just straightens it all of the time, she makes it her god-given mission to convince him to wear it naturally more often

this mission includes plans such as stealing his hair straightener, "donating" a bunch of curly hair products to him because she "doesn't have the space", and getting keith to say he thinks curly hair is cool one day in the rec room

she still thinks it's the funniest thing ever that that actually worked

other than week-long sabotage plots, they both think it's fun to have lance braid allura's hair

he used to braid his sister's and niece's hairs all of the time, so he has a knack for it that allura did not expect at all but is obsessed with anyway

allura, coming to lance's room a few hours before another diplomatic party: hey..... how yall doin.....

lance, already prepared with a million different brushes and bands: oh my god just get in already

lance and allura have a lot in common

one of these things, they learn very early into their relationship, is that they are both disasters when it comes to pretty girls (and boys, but that's a lance-exclusive situation)

so they become each other's wingmen

they both tend to get… a little too into it

the team: [at a diplomatic ball]

lance, seeing a pretty alien girl looking allura's way and "politely" speedwalking over to her: alluralluraalluraalluraalluralluraalluraalluraalluralluraalluraallura pretty girl look over there eleven o'clock LOOK she's gonna walk away looklooklook

allura: lance darling thank you so much for your help but I am in the middle of talking to the president

and alternatively:

allura tries to set lance and keith up all the time. at first she was worried she would be overstepping boundaries, but after one particular sleepover where lance spent an entire hour lamenting his "bad luck" she decided to take things into her own hands

this includes, but is not limited to; sending them on supply missions alone together (often), mentioning particular things lance has done to his appearance to keith every time she can, and talking about specific paladin bonds more than she maybe should

lance hates it

keith, walking into the lounge: h-

allura, immediately: hello keith!! help settle an argument, will you :)?

keith: um… okay

allura: lovely! now, tell me, do you think lance looks cuter today than he did yesterday? we can't seem to agree on whether or by he's stunning or simply handsome. what do you think?

keith: uh-

allura: oh, and while I have you, have you noticed that his ears are pierced?

lance, beet red: allu-

allura: what :(?? can't i be proud of my handiwork??

lance, to keith: I am not associated with her

after a week of this keith literally sets up a system where if allura is in a room he walks into he just does a complete 180 and walks back out

one time, at a diplomatic meeting, an alien politician mistook them for a couple and they both choked on their drinks at the same time, and then got offended that the other one agreed that the concept was insane

allura: what happened to being the princess of your dreams, lance?? I thought I MEANT something to you. obviously! i was wrong!

lance: oh yeah?? then why did you GIGGLE, allura. what's so funny, huh?? my good looks??? my charming charisma?? how far out of your league I am???

allura:

lance: okay maybe that last one was a bit of a stretch

another thing lance and allura do is pronounce each other's names wrong

they call each other lonce and allora

it started as lance kind of making fun of allura's accent, but turned into just one of their Things

Oooookay. Welcome back. Posting about pathologic part 4 I think? Part 4. We just reached Act 4 too, so everything’s going according to schedule. This gaming session had some ups and downs. Ups: That good good lore, and a lot of quality time spent with my good pals Daniil and Changeling and also Clara apparently, although she might not be my good pal after all, but w/e. Downs: FUuuuUUUUCKkkk we are so bad at video games, and also the kin folk have become A Lot, holy shit. Where to start.

Okay so this time the game wasn’t actually super stressful for me personally bc this time I kind of just handed off the controls to my sister every time shit got dangerous. She’s a lot better at video games than me. Shoutout @akpaley for keeping me from dying from stress in real life.

The drawback of this is that since she’s a lot better at video games she’s also a lot more willing to actually take risks rather than just running away from literally everything. Which I won’t deny, has gotten us a lot of much-needed money and resources but also.

WELCOME TO THE FUCKING DEATH SPIRAL PART OF THE GAME. I guess it had to happen eventually, right? Fuuuuuuuck us, do you have any fucking idea how much shit you have to redo when you’re randomly shanked by some dude every fifteen minutes? And they’re harder to fight every time we come back, apparently, and also our health is like permanently half gone? Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck why are there not more clocks.

Victor Kain, you were the one who made the clocks?? I could fucking kiss you. I owe you my life. Or like, six hundred of my lives. Hhh.

Okay, seriously though, the clock lore is actually kind of sick. Victor told us that they’re smaller versions of the cathedral, and we were like “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THaT’S WHerE wE RESET THE GaME IN THe PROLOGUE!!!!!!! METAPHYSICS!!!!!!!!!” The Kains are so cool.

(Maria Kaina got infected tho. Sorry, you. :( Although technically that happens later.)

Um, we gave the rest of our shmowder to Khan. We’re out now. We’ve been looking for more but haven’t found anything.

Also we made a random potion, and the plague showed up and was like “fuck you,” and I was like “damn, calm the hell down, you’re the one fucking killing people.”

Met with the Saburovs more. They were like “we have another suspect!” and I was like “yeah they probably don’t but w/e” and my sister was like “they’re in an infected land and we should probably save their lives” and I was like “why do we care about helping the Saburovs again, literally all they do is accuse random people of killing my dad, the Kains are obviously the best family, we should just be throwing in with them” and she was like “that’s not all they do, they also run the guards, you know those guys who patrol plague districts?” and I was like “okay fuck you’re right let’s visit them” and it turns out that that there was actually some super cool lore pertaining to the town’s mistresses. Also, god if they don’t have some cool reflections. I love everything about this town’s history.

Afterwards we randomly decided to visit Yulia for literally no reason, and she was like “I’m glad you’re here, I have a lot of super heavy important shit to discuss with you about the Inquisition that will be here tomorrow, it sure is convenient that you’re in my neighborhood for some reason even though I live in an incredibly inconvenient location?” Also she knows something about the nature of Artemy, Daniil, and Clara-or maybe the Changeling but she called her Clara? Oh yeah, Daniil was there too for some reason. Poor guy, I don’t think he’s okay. He cried on my shoulder a lot, he was endearingly open and earnest and for once I felt bad about the dialogue options wherein Artemy throws shade.

And then Clara happened to be standing outside literally right then? I wonder if that was going to be a big quest location and we just happened to arrive right before the game told us to go there anyway. I think that’s it actually. We’re so good, damn. Clara keeps pulling shit and then immediately trying to reconcile and asking for help. I really like her, but we really shouldn’t be trusting her right?

Oh Murky was also there and she set up a meeting between us and her “friend” and that night we went and Clara and Changeling were both there and I’m so confused???? What is her deal? But!! Changeling facilitated a deal between me and the plague! And Murky is now off the hit list!!!!!!!!!! Does this mean she’ll live? Anyway the plague started talking to us, and our infection rose a bit in an unhealable way, and, dumbasses that we were, said “wow this is probably all just the natural consequence of the bargain we made. Guess there’s literally nothing we can do to address this.” (Spoiler: That is not the case, the cost of the pact was literally just that we became infected and would have to cure it with fire before it killed us. We figured that out eventually, I promise.)

Fast forward to the next day after we finish the day’s entire fucking plotline, when we have done literally nothing so our infection’s increased a shit ton and it starts actually killing us. And since we only have like half our potential health bar from getting killed so much, we literally can’t survive long enough to treat it. We run around trying to cure ourselves and die like ten more times before we finally accept that we just have to go back in time to before the infection was this bad, try to get cured immediately, and redo the whole day. There’s a whole fucking skeleton out by the theatre by now btw. Fucking death spirals. This play session took a long fucking time okay?

Alright, flash backward again. After talking with Changeling, we visit Stakh because after rescuing him twice in a row he promised we could talk. We go to his house and he’s sleeping, or maybe just pretending to sleep, but either way Artemy has the absolute sweetest little monologue, just talking to him, and so much has happened but I can tell there’s still a lot of tenderness there between them even if it’s buried deep, and it’s just such a soft scene against such a harsh story.

Guess who’s dead by morning.

The next day Aglaya showed up and was like “see me immediately,” so obviously we visit Capella and then town hall first off. Daniil’s there, he bitches to me about Aglaya for a bit. So cute, we really are friends. I promise to help him with corpse duty bc Capella wanted me to visit Grace anyway. We talk to the official people at the official desks, one is collecting babies, one is giving me some lunch money as a very good reward for being a very good little surgeon, and one is telling me that actually money is illegal now but here are some free coupons that actually are too cheap to buy anything with.

Aglaya is the woman from the prologue! Hhhh things are really building to a point, aren’t they. I wonder how Yulia knows her. But damn, the whole village was out there waiting to meet with her weren’t they.

I made a deal with the rat prophet to clear some space in the graveyard so Grace would be okay. Dunno what will come of that. I’ve been seeing him everywhere lately though.

I met with Oyun and gave him my dad’s house. I met with Aspity and was like “did you kill Stakh” and she gave me some vague shit, and in general I am very upset at the kinfolk right now but I tried to save them anyway. Went to the termitary and did the whole termitary thing. Wow that sure is a place, right? God, have I ever mentioned how much I love all the screaming soundtracks in this game.

Damn, Taya’s whole child queen vibe is unsettling.

The whole termitary is horrible, and what the kin folk have been put through is horrible, but their obsession with blood and strength legit terrifies me. I’ve spent all my time until now trying to convince everyone that they aren’t bad, and that they aren’t to blame for the disease, but now they want to kill? And they really really really want me to be a killer too. And the whole thing with Taya is creepy as fuck too, she’s just a kid. Anyway, we’re sending Vlad the older to them, I don’t know whether he or his son deserves to be torn apart more, but Changeling was really upset at the idea of Vlad the younger going there, so I guess we’re backing her. We run all around town making sure the right Olgimsky is going, and then we realize we actually have a few hours left so we take a hospital shift too! And then we die of disease like six times.

Okay, flash forward again, we’ve gone back, gotten some guy to molotov cocktail us, redone the entire termitary thing, saved the game on Vlad’s clock after sending him to his doom (sorry dude). That’s where we’re at currently.

(Only it’s not actually, we went back and spent like an hour going back and forth between the termitary and Oyun again trying to deal with their shit, and everyone was like “murder all dissenters :D” and I was like “what the fuck” and the day was almost over but then a dude stabbed us and we randomly died, and none of these places had clocks, so at that point we were basically like “yeah it’s after midnight, let’s just call it quits.”)

Anything else......oh, the warehouses are at risk again. Notkin and Sticky, what would I do if anything happened to them. I hope my medicines are good enough, I gave some to Bad Grief too but now all there really is to do is wait. :(

Oh, I once again have thoughts on how fucking theatrical is it that everything in the game is simultaneously literal and metaphorical, it’s gorgeous, and have I mentioned the costuming choices for the Orderlies and the Plague, hhhhhhhh, not to say anything nice about Mark fucking Immortell, but he knows what he’s doing with this thing. Listen if this post weren’t already way too long I would just gush about the theatrical elements again, but sadly it is too long.

Summary: Anon request- I wish you would write a fic where: talk about alternate affection, platonically/romantically. Or Someone who's gotten shit for being manipulative/cut throat to survive life. Teach people it's not bad. You can manipulate people to believe in themselves/out of anxieties. And. Maybe they arent verbal but they know x's fave color is green so they wear green arnd them to show they care. Some1 gave them a ring so they always wear it around them to show they appreciate gesture, tho its not the fave.🐍

A/N: Mini rant- I can’t even begin to put into words how close to home this request hit. Like I am not an overt touchy-feely love person. And for the longest time I always felt something was wrong with me because I wasn’t that way. But there are so many ways to love people, and as long as it’s consensual, love the way you love, whether it’s loud and in your face, or blink and you’ll miss it. And find someone who loves you that way, because fuck watering yourself down for anybody.

“Fuck, dude. I dunno. I just feel nervous,” the man with striking blue eyes muttered into a phone, a soft chuckle escaping him as he passed a hand through blonde curls.

“Well, that’s stupid,” the woman next to him scoffed into her drink.

“Excuse me?” the man asked, quirking an eyebrow in her direction. “No, not you, man. I’ll call you back,” he spoke quickly into the phone. “It’s rude to eavesdrop you know.”

“Eavesdropping would imply I was listening to both sides of the conversation. I was just making an observation. For all you know, my observation could have been about… well, anything, really.”

“Well, the timing is a tad coincidental.”

“Well, if the shoe fits…”

“Why is it stupid for me to feel nervous?”

“Because if we allowed our nerves to control us, then we would never get anything done. Ergo, feeling nervous is stupid. Feel confident instead. Trust in yourself.”

“Okay, but why can’t you just say that instead of calling me stupid?”

“I didn’t call you stupid.”

“Calling my feelings stupid isn’t much better.”

“Got your attention though, didn’t it? And as I said before, I was just making an observation.”

“An observation we agreed was about me.”

“Did we?”

“Are you always this charming?” The man’s words dripped heavy with rhetoric and sarcasm.

The woman shrugged. “Your opinion of me doesn’t affect me. And if my opinion of you matters to you… well… that’s your problem.”

He leaned in with a dangerous smirk. “And what is your opinion of me?”

She met his look, her brown eyes full of dark trouble that made his heart race in his chest. “I don’t have an opinion of you.”

He titled his head back, hand clutching at his chest like he’d been wounded. “Ouch,” he chuckled.

She shrugged again. “World’s not always gonna be nice to you just because you look like you, pretty boy. Toughen up.”

“Name’s Luke, actually.”

“I don’t care.”

“Of course you don’t. Why would you?”

“I’m not holding you hostage, Luke. If you’re offended, you’re free to leave.”

“Maybe I don’t wanna leave. Maybe I like being offended by you.”

“Wow, you really do depend on your looks to seal the deal for you, don’t ya?”

Luke’s hands went up in surrender. “Alright, hint taken. Your need to comment on everything isn’t you flirting with me. Got it. Message received.”

“Good. Now you’re learning.”

“Must get lonely pushing people away like that.”

“Rather be alone than surrounded by fake people.”

“Ooo, now who thinks the observation’s about her?” Luke teased.

“Tad coincidental, no?”

“If the shoe fits…”

“Oh, that’s a cute shirt!” Crystal told her friend as they got ready.

“Thanks!” Victoria flashed a smile. “It’s Luke’s favorite.”

“Oh?” Crystal raised a skeptical eyebrow. “I thought you guys were just friends.”

“We are!” Victoria defended.

“Is that your favorite shirt, too?”

“I mean, I like it. But I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite.”

“Mhm…”

“Oh, whatever,” Victoria laughed as she slid a silver bracelet on her wrist.

“You don’t wear jewelry…” Crystal pointed out.

“Well I feel like wearing it tonight.”

“Didn’t Luke get you that for your birthday?”

“So? What of it?”

Crystal sighed deeply. “How long have I been your friend?”

“Like forever, which is why it was funny I never ran into Luke before I did.”

“Mhm… And in the what? Six months you’ve known him, you’re going out of your way to wear his favorite shirt and a bracelet he bought you? Even though you don’t like either because you never wear that shirt and you hate jewelry because you think it’s too flashy? But, you’re just friends with Luke?”

“You’re reading way too much into this.”

“Or you’re not reading enough into it.”

“Okay,” Victoria clicked her tongue. “Say I do like him. That doesn’t mean he likes me back. I damn near made him cry when I met him because he thought I called him stupid.”

“Okay, but you didn’t actually call him stupid. And he admitted he was flirting with you. Or trying to anyway.”

“Yeah. He tried, and I blew it, so he stopped.”

“Did he? I mean did any of your other friends get you a bracelet for your birthday?”

“No…”

“Well?”

“Okay, but why, Crys? Luke could easily have any woman on the face of the planet. Why would he want a bitch like me?”

“Hey, that’s my best friend you’re trash talking. You’re not a bitch, Tor. You just don’t play games because too many people have played games with you.”

“That may be true, but you have to admit it’s a little off-putting.”

“So what? You’re just gonna water yourself down for other people’s sake?”

“No. I shouldn’t have to.”

“Exactly. You shouldn’t have to.”

“Okay, and what does this have to do with Luke?”

“He clearly likes you if he got you a birthday gift even though you’re just friends. And you clearly like him back if you’re actually wearing it rather than letting it sit with all your other jewelry.”

“Okay, and what am I supposed to do? Go up and kiss him?”

“That’s certainly a good starting point.”

“Hey, ya made it!” Luke’s grin was wide, and his hug was warm as his arms wrapped around Victoria.

“I said I was coming, didn’t I?” she asked as she stepped out of his embrace.

“I meant that I’m glad you’re here. Shirt looks good on you. Is that the bracelet I got you?”

“Yeah.”

“Aw, you didn’t have to wear it. Crystal told me after the fact that jewelry’s not your thing. Wish she had told me before, so I could’ve bought you something you actually like, though...”

“I do like it.”

“You do?!” His blue eyes lit up with childlike excitement.

“Of course I do. You bought it for me when you didn’t have to.”

“It was your birthday. You deserved something nice.”

“That’s really sweet of you, Luke.”

“What are friends for, right?”

“Yeah. Friends. About that actually. Do you like me?”

Luke laughed. “What kind of question is that? Of course I like you, Tor.”

“Yeah I know. I mean- ugh. This is so stupid. Nevermind. Forget I said anything.”

“Whoa, hold on,” he said, his hand reaching to grab her arm as she started to move away. “If you brought it up, then it’s not stupid. So, c’mon. Talk to me, Tor.”

She stared up at him, her mind racing with trying to find the right words to say, or questions to ask. But when his tongue poked out to wet at his lips, her mind went blank as all she heard was Crystal telling her that a kiss would be a good place to start. And she hoped the other woman was right as she leaned up on her toes and closed the distance.

Luke chuckled, breaking the kiss, his thumb rubbing over where her lips had just been. “Yeah,” he nodded, his eyes sparkling pools of the softest blue. “Yeah, I like you that way. Didn’t think you felt the same.”

“I’m wearing this damn bracelet and shirt, aren’t I?”

“Ha! I knew you didn’t like the bracelet!”

“Yeah, well I’m pretty crazy about the boy who bought it, so it’s a small price to pay.”

“Pretty crazy, huh? That’s uh… a little different than just plain old like, isn’t it?”

“Oh, just shut up and kiss me.”

01. kaun komsott - ros sereysothea

this song actually lyrically has absolutely nothing to do with ziggy !!!! kaun komsott / កូនកំសត់ actually just means “poor/pitiful child” it’s just a khmer dub of a song from a taiwanese movie lol but i feel like this is the kind of music he would listen to that made him fall in love with, like ... humanity, as dumb as that sounds. it’s time period appropriate (late 60s/early to mid 70s), the song is really good and it’s SO emotional. i could see him sitting in the apartment of his bandmates after being “found” and they teach him how to use the record player and he sits there going through each and every record they have and listening to this and its like the fucking scene in ratatootie where the goddamn rat can visualize tastes as colors but he would be so enamored with the song he would see it in colors or something i dunno. something has definitely fucking happened to my brain because ever since nat and alex and i rewatched ratatootie we keep referencing it for our characters. anyways i ended up using an instrumental of kaun komsott in the final film i made as the song that plays during the end. so this song just also means a lot to me because it’s part of how i made this character and the film/story i animated to go along with him, i am sure you are all absolutely sick of hearing me talk about it <3

02. who can i be now - daveed booweyywywy now you found me, now can I be real? can I be real? if it’s all a vast creation / putting on a face that’s new someone has to see / a role for him and me someone might as well be you

one of z’s most obvious character motifs is figuring out self identity through adopting different guises. he markets himself as being so overly confident and almost arrogantly certain of himself -- rock god space idol whatever -- as his own way of learning who he thinks he might be underneath it all. i think at first it started off a little innocuous, a ‘ fake it till u make it ’ thing at the least and maybe more obviously a ‘ im not a human so i have to pretend to be someone else ’ deal, but over time it became almost all consuming and just obliterated all his previously held sense of self in favor of some weirdly demented version of who he wanted to be. 683 starts off with the same core personality traits as ziggy: maybe he’s a little vain, a little selfish, but he’s very interested in creativity/self-expression and he wants to be thought of as a unique individual and appreciated for his differences. but the difference is that 683 isnt an arrogant asshole who has no regard for other people in the slightest. so yeah ... who can u be now ... is it worth it to adopt a different guise or should he go through the effort of figuring out what parts of his personality were corroded by human influence and what parts are genuinely him? my big endgame thoughts for his story would be that he eventually just decides to retire from the public eye and fucks off entirely. this would be over the course of a long long long time -- maybe he has a good 20 yr run in the industry -- but there are some things about him he has to deal with (mental health issues, drug addiction, also the fact that you’re a freaky alien creature who doesnt age like a human so you’re physically like 46 and you still look like you’re 25?) so he inevitably decides he doesnt need the horrible pressure of fame and he ought to just live his life for himself. i think this would be a nice final song for him to sing/perform -- then he goes into the dressing room and cuts his hair and just vanishes. bye.

03. sunny afternoon - the kinks Help me, help me, help me sail away Well give me two good reasons why I oughta stay 'Cause I love to live so pleasantly Live this life of luxury Lazing on a sunny afternoon

1. i think this would sound A LITTLE like the kind of music he would write/play albeit i feel like his would be more exciting and have more samplings of like laser noises or pewpewpew or weird spaceship sounds BUT. its also pretty time period appropriate. even in “modern” verses ziggy is inexplicably obsessed with the 1970s, he likes bell bottoms and thinks groovy patterns are neat and he owns too many lava lamps. anywayz. 2. just the general idea of feeling unfulfilled with luxury -- even if ziggy enjoys his fame and wealth and the absolutely insane amount of pussy/dick he gets at some level he is still cognizantly aware of how weirdly empty he feels. he ditched atomina and came here because he felt unfulfilled and bored and unwanted. now he feels wanted (clearly, everyone loves him) and he feels entertained (earth is So Good at fun distractions) but his fulfillment still isnt quite there. he’s getting there -- but in exchange of being able to live this life of fame, he’s had to kind of change everything about himself and live this almost caricature version of himself, and he knows he cant keep it up forever. the luxury will run out one day and he’ll be a washup and no one cares about celebrities once they stop being hip. it is literally only a matter of time before ziggy has to find out who he is because no one can be a “rockstar” forever.

04. i hate jimmy page - mindless self indulgence SUCKAS CAN REACH OUT TOUCH ME EAT ME BITE DA FUTURE & FUCK DA PAST I'm lower than most animals and fear what might be weird and all those voices in my head have every right to be there i ain't a girl just cause i rock the boat i ain't a boy just cause i rock your world

i mean he does hate jimmy page but that’s beside the point. its just a good song about being a crazy rockstar and has the same Craziness that i feel like accompanies his character ... just go listen to it you will understand. there is nothing to explain here. even the lyric “ill show u how official midgets jack me off” like just accept it. it’s whatever but yeah i aint a girl i aint a boy ... i guess his gender (or lack thereof) never really comes up in rp but its still an important part of his character. if any of u guys ever call him a man in prose again ill kick ur ass. gender is like an accessory to him and he just takes whatever aspects of masculinity/femininity he prefers and discards everything else. to him he’s just as much a “man” or a “woman” as he is a “human” which is to say he isnt, at all, and he just pretends to be because he feels obligated to. also ziggy’s brain kind of sounds like this...just Noises. his brain sounds like a microwave that’s been going off for 26 years. i think his brain is a single uncooked pinto bean rolled in glitter that’s been left in a box with a cobweb

05. ghostride - crumb daydreaming I stay in the backseat / the slow beat rocks me back to sleep keeps me on automatic press my face up close against the glass i see the people when they pass they move so automatic you wake up when I go down / the radio reminds me I'm alive we've been hearing it all night

i care more about 683 on atomina than i do about ziggy on earth sometimes (BUT I CARE THEM BOTH. DO U?) so ... 683 feeling aimless and drifting but trying to find purpose through passion, a person, some sort of concrete meaning -- going through the motions of life makes him feel empty he spends almost every day going through the same toil while feeling guilty or like a burden and also feeling like he’s ultimately nothing more than a replaceable cog in a machine. his species had a near extinction = bottleneck which made them so genetically similar they’re almost clones of each other. no one ever seems to do anything wrong except him, he finds no joy or fulfillment in anything at all. all he ever wanted (which isnt a selfish desire at all) was to feel purpose, or feel wanted, or appreciated. inevitably he leaves because of his own imagination -- he yearns for something More, and he doesn’t know What, so he figured he ought to at least Try instead of waste his life away. also atomina is supposed to sound like “automatic.” do NOT make fun of my bad scifi. i am trying to mimic the way 1970s scifi is endearingly cheesy. come here. i just want to touch you with this knife. gently tho it wont go inside of you. bro you are bleeding. bro we are bleeding and i keep putting the knife in your soft parts.

A few years ago I started tracking yearly goals, books read, movies watched etc in a year, along with overview blurbs, in private posts. End of 2019/beginning of 2020 I was really frazzled/burned out about a lot of stuff and just never finished up making the thing. 8 months later, got the urge to read back what I’d got done, then figured I’d maybe go ahead and see about finishing.

1. How’d you form as a system?

in… I think it was 2013, Evan discovered the concept of tulpas, and within like a day was like “oh this sounds cool as fuck, time to create an entire person in my head” and that’s how Jade happened! and then literally two months later Jade was like “we need another friend” and Evan was like “yeah okay” and together we made Ollie. and for a few years it was just the three of us, but uh fun fact, once your brain learns how to make extra people, it gets a lot easier for that to happen, and so one day a couple weeks into Evan writing an ATLA fanfic Zuko just kinda showed up fully formed and verbal. we seem to gain a new systemmate once every couple of years, though it’d probably be more if Evan were less resistant to new systemmates showing up, but we do not need every fictional character I ever get obsessed with hanging out with us, ok? ok.

8. How complex is your mindscape? Does your system even use it? Do you even have one to begin with?

we definitely don’t use the mindscape/wonderland nearly as much as we did when we first started out - Evan and Jade created a little gazebo (always called it a pavilion tho) and it had a couch that folded out into a bed and that was where we spent most of our time in the really early days. later we expanded out into a whole island, we had a house and Ollie had a beach house and we had a nice little spot on the beach that was surrounded by cliffs, and there was a spot in the forest by a river that was Jade and Evan’s special spot, all around it was really nice.

later on, around the time Markus first appeared, the mindscape expanded into an entire planet, kinda floating in a bubble universe in between various fictional worlds. it’s called Perception - i think that happened after a comment Zuko made about there being a lot of perceptive people there? dunno, it made sense at the time. it was created because of an instability in the multiverse, involving some shenanigans featuring Aang and the Twelfth Doctor and various others, but it’s stable now. various fictional characters pass through from time to time, and it’s a safe space where we can hang out and play music and talk to people. most of the people who pass through don’t know the true nature of Perception, and most of them don’t remember it as anything more than a dream when they return to their own worlds, though there are a few inner-worlders, not part of the main system, who are In The Know, like Aang.

also sometimes we will visit other universes, typically whatever fictional world is the current special interest, and hang out and generally get up to Adventures and Shenanigans. it’s fun.

9. Is making major decisions that affects the whole system hard? Who argues a lot when discussing major changes?

hoo boy. uh. who wants to take this one?

Jade: Evan is really resistant to change. We - don’t argue, exactly, because no one - we don’t want to argue, but sometimes I do kind of try to persuade Evan to think more about the system - we’ve talked about doing sort of designated co-fronter days, because I do know that Evan worries that they focus too much on Zuko -

Zuko: Rude.

Jade: - and not enough on, say, Ollie or Alex sometimes. We haven’t really implemented that, though, since Evan and honestly all of us are kind of exhausted most of the time, and this - that’s the kind of thing that requires planning and sit-down conversations and we just haven’t been very good at that lately.

Markus: Well said, Jade, good job, and good job Evan for proxying, I know we’re, you’re tired after talking about Perception and all. We, I do think that all of us are concerned with what Evan thinks about things since - no, write this down - since they’re the host and they’re kind of the center of the system, they really are and we’re pretty invested in taking care of them. They feel weird about it sometimes and sometimes they have moments, even now, where they have doubts about whether the rest of us really exist, but.

Zuko: What was the question again?

Evan: *laughing*

Markus: Stop. Anyway - are we - do we wanna talk about?

Jade: I think so.

Evan: If it’s okay with her? Yeah, and I do think you should be the one to say this, Markus, if you want to?

Markus: Yeah. Yeah. Soo we’ve recently - I guess you could say we’ve recently acquired a new system member.

Zuko: The emphasis on acquired - you, you make it sound like we stole her!

Markus: Shhhhh. Okay. Basically, we noticed her starting to form, and we - Evan was concerned, like always, they’re always nervous about new people, so we did have to stop and kind of talk about it. And it took us a few days, but I do think we were kind of in agreement, that yeah, we wanted this new person.

Zuko: We were definitely a little worried if now was the best time, we talked about our options,

Markus: I distinctly remember saying “No making major life decisions at 3 am.”

Evan: Yeah, you said that.

Zuko: But at the same time we were all kind of excited, you know? The last one who showed up was Alex and that was three years ago, he was like me with the whole fanfic origin story, and Evan fought against him for the longest time.

Alex: Just - hi - just butting in here, I believe the original arrangement was that I would stay - laughing - I would stay until Evan and I finished writing my fanfic, and then I would go back home to my universe and my happy ending. And that was three years ago, and we never finished the fanfic.

Evan: Oops.

Zuko: Guys, we’re going off on so many tangents here. But we were kind of excited, you know, to sort of nurture this new person and create them together.

Evan: I did - what was it? I remember thinking, why do I always get so excited whenever outside friends get new system members, but with us it’s a source of dread? So I’m trying to change my attitude on that a little.

This got very longer than expected, and also proxying is exhausting. Mostly we used this question as an excuse to talk about our new girl, this is the first time we’ve talked about her outside of just between us, actually. Perhaps if she wants to we’ll do a proper introduction later. Fortunately I wrote the answer to the next question before starting on this one.

16. Do any of your systemmates display unique talents whenever in front? If yes, what talent and how good are they at it?

so uh, actually we aren’t… able to switch? so I, Evan, am the only one who ever fronts. Markus and Zuko can sometimes help me out when I’m having a shutdown or a panic attack though, by kinda co-fronting and walking me through whatever it is I need to do just then (Markus calls this ‘dad mode’)

What are you most scared of from watching the trailer? (And any other thoughts about it)

Sorry I delayed in answering your ‘ask’. For a 2-minute promo, it sure generated a lot of new questions...and new worries because basically I’m scared for /everyone/ lol. We know Jenji isn’t afraid to kill off characters, we know that she isn’t afraid to give likeable characters sad storylines/unhappy endings...and s7 is likely no different (although I’m hoping for the best bc it’s the last season).

So basically, I jotted down some thoughts and because my blog (and brain) are all about Alex/Piper/Vauseman, I will limit my comments to them. In chronological order of the snippets we saw in the s7 trailer which came out yesterday (June 26)...

---Alex passing by someone’s cell: If you look at the numbers of the bunks (06 & 07), they correspond to the numbers of the cells by which Alex is standing in an earlier still (shown in this old post ) secretly using a cel phone. I’m not sure what she’s doing with it, but I’m worried she’s involved in some shady business in prison, even tho she promised Piper she wouldn’t do anything to extend her sentence. We’ll see....

---Piper’s montage of stuff she’s doing post-prison (on the street, using a photocopier, providing a urine sample). The show’s obsession with Piper peeing continues lol. But srsly, it looks like Piper is having a tough time adjusting to post-prison life...not unexpected.

---Piper taking archery lessons outside. I’ve read some spoilers about this scene and I’m avoiding discussing spoilers here, but someone on LChat said that Cal’s wife Neri is in the archery group (wearing red). I don’t know why Piper is taking archery lessons, but I know it’s become a popular sport thanks to “The Hunger Games” ;)

---The Chapman Temper---Piper banging on a desk. If you slow it down, you can see one of those stamper things on a desk so I suspect she is at work and something has caused her some consternation. I linked to some new stills released by Netflix (that aren’t from the trailer) in which Piper is shown standing by a photocopier while Bill Chapman is walking by. Based on that, I’d hazard to guess that she’s working at Bill’s office....and she’s either upset with him or her situation or both.

--Piper in Sophia’s hair salon. Omg what an unexpected but happy surprise! I smiled so much seeing them together, esp since that’s how they met in prison, and that’s how Piper managed to get some of the ingredients for the back rub she made for Red (so she wouldn’t be starved out longer). So good to see Sophia finding work doing something she seemed to enjoy doing in prison.(I wonder how Danita is doing? lol)

---Vauseman visitation scene. Oh man, I knew it was coming but I didn’t think Alex would look so damned emotional. She’s usually pretty good at keeping her shit together when she’s with Piper (until she breaks down in private) but this time, you can see the tears welling in her eyes...and the way she reaches for Piper first, pressing her hand against the prison window pane, kills me. They’re both wearing their wedding rings (thank god Alex’s wasn’t confiscated...and I won’t question why not). Piper is wearing the same dress she was spotted filiming 7x01 at a bus stop, so I’d bet this visitation is from 7x01...meaning we don’t have to wait more a whole episode to see it. Jenji is merciful. Alex’s “It’s good to see you” reminded me instantly of 3x03′s “It is so good to see you”, spoken by Piper in the famous drama class scene. The show loves its parallels...

---Piper wearing a black top with her hair up saying “Maybe this is the beginning of a road back.” I think that line is significant but I don’t know what it means in terms of the show. In literary terms, it’s part of The Hero’s Journey and the road back is when the hero begins his journey back to his ordinary life. I don’t want to read too much into it, but it might have to do with Piper returning to her ordinary life. I dunno. The show talks about roads a lot (e.g. Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken”)...

---Piper at what looks like a gala, looking beautiful and happy. What worries me is that she looks a bit /too/ happy to be in that world of privilege and appearances again. We’ll see if she does any back-pedaling on all the character development she’s had in the previous six seasons. Hopefully not.

---Alex (in all her glory) in what looks like a flashback to the day she met Piper Chapman. It looks like Alex is looking at something/someone and it’s probably Piper but I don’t know if she’s looking at Piper coming into the bar, or leaving the bar. It wouldn’t make sense to start that s7 flashback scene with Alex looking at Piper entering the bar because what follows would be a repeat of the 1x03 flashback..... so I’m wondering if it might be Alex looking at Piper *after* she leaves. Or maybe we get some more conversation between Alex & Piper, and then Piper starts to leave. Alex goes back to her friends and stares at Piper as she’s leaving. Pure speculation on my part but they did a good job of recreating Alex’s look, altho her hair looks fuller (like she has more of it lol) and she doesn’t have the strands of hair in front of her ears like she did in 1x03. .

---Alex sitting across from Nicky in what looks like the classroom where they had the Biology class. I was so relieved to see them in a scene together...not just because Alex needs a good friend in prison now that Piper is out...but also bc Laura and Natasha have really good chemistry and I’ve loved every Alex-Nicky scene in the show (except one notable scene near the end of 1x13, ahem)

---Piper with Cal in an ice cream shop. Piper’s laugh is priceless...and her shirt is so.gay. A million times better than the other clothing we’ve seen her in, in s7 (beautiful dress at the gala aside). Piper's new wardrobe is imo one of the biggest mysteries of s7 lol.

A/n: Hey guys, so after getting into the hellhole that is Mistake Messengers, I was inspired to make a little feel good series with all the characters. Think of it as a sort of means of reminding you all that you can make it!

Warning: Mentions of depression

Yoosung was happy.

You were happy.

That’s what each of you told yourselves as the days went on.

I am happy, I am fine, I am normal.

But you both knew in your hearts-you weren’t. You weren’t happy, you weren’t fine, and this sure as hell was not normal.

As you two chatted in the RFA messenger, it became quite clear to you that he was not as happy as he let on. In fact, you related a bit too much.

The extracurricular’s, the obsession with a single hobby or activity in the hopes that it’d make you better, and the constant insecurities. The others may not have noticed, but you understood.

Even though Yoosung was depressed, you felt strange. On one hand, it was a relief that someone knew how you felt, but on the other, you felt sad, why was he suffering? He didn’t deserve it.

But you also felt scared. You weren’t as whole as you made yourself seem, and you feared how he’d react to seeing you as broken as you truly were. You finally found someone you loved, and he was the most precious thing to you. If he left...

You shook yourself out of your negative thoughts. Yoosung was sweet, he’d never do that. Would he?

He didn’t sleep. His eyes said all you needed. Bloodshot, with the heavy bags, he stayed up all night. Not that you fared much better, which was why you drove him to a nearby coffee shop.

“Yoosung, can I say something?” You asked quietly as you fiddled with your cup of coffee.

“W-what? Go ahead but...” Yoosung’s eyes shot open, almost in fear. Did you want to end it? Was him playing LOLOL annoying you? Oh god, who else would care for him like you did and-

“I have depression.” You bluntly stated. Yoosung relaxed slightly and stared at you, a sympathetic look in his eyes.

“A-ah...I’ve been a bad boyfriend, huh? All this time, you focused on me when really-”

“No, please don’t talk negatively about yourself. I just wanted to tell you because...” You gently held his hand in yours and gave him a small smile. “Because I know what you’re going through, Yoosung.”

“I’m sorry, (Y/n).” He sniffled. “I didn’t notice it and yet you read me like an open book. Makes me wonder why you bother with me when I can’t even comfort you right.” He couldn’t look you in the eyes, only staring at your intertwined hands with a sad smile.

“Yoosung, no. Don’t feel bad for this. I want us to be better, together. We are a couple, a team, one single unit. It’s time we fight these battles together.” You reassured him, and his face lit up slightly.

“You always know the best things to say, (Y/n). I wanna be someone you can depend, from now till forever!” He laughed, gripping his other hand around yours. “I promise, I’ll be a better boyfriend for you!”

“You are already the best, Yoosungie~!”

For once, you felt peace. As you two held hands and took a nice stroll through the park, you chatted about your day.

“I aced the exam! Teacher was so proud of me he sent me an email too!” He smiled widely as you squealed and hugged him tightly.

This was happy. This was peace. This was love.

While you both had your ups and downs, it felt great knowing you both had each other. You had your cheerleader, your number one fan, and a loving partner with you.
