From my last post until now.

It’s now been 2.5 YEARS since my last cigarette! I whole two years went by since my last post about it. Holy fuck.

I’ve never been more proud of myself.

I am less than two weeks from being smoke free for six months.

Not many people will understand how proud I am. Do I still crave a cigarette? EVERYDAY. But I’m no longer weak. I no longer succumb to the false idea that having a cigarette is going to cure my anxiety, depression and hunger. I will no longer pretend that it makes me happy. I no longer smell like smoke or plan my entire day around when I can have my next fix. No more feeling guilty every time I take a puff knowing that I’m destroying my lungs. No more going to urgent care because I can’t breath.

But the best feeling in the world is knowing that I may never be free from addiction, but as of right now I’ve never felt more impowered to reach any goal and be the best than I can be!
