Quackity having nightmares in season two. He’s always in this black room, maybe dark purple but too stained to be sure, and there’s Dream, the guy he knows as a friend and jokes around all day with, screaming in pain and crying and begging, writhing in pain, blood everwhere and his bones looking out of place and skin sickly in an almost grayish color and he hears his own laugh, unmistakeably and undenianably his.

The next time he passes by Dream, who’s smiling and talking with someone all cheery he smiles back, but pays more attention to how he’s always limping, always has been ever since they met and even has to use crutches sometimes and maybe the wounds he sees almost every night match a little too well with the countless scars Dream has. Maybe the white of his hair is just a little too off in color to be just a light blond and all too similar with how the dark blond of Dream’s hair in his nightmares progresses to be the exactly same white over time.

ahem. s2 discduo headcanons

• they both have one half of their hair completely white

• also wanted to do some symbolism with the discs - maybe make Tommy's eye color more violet to match the disk since one is green and one is violet

• they almost constantly wear flowers in their hair!

• Tommy braids Dream's hair occasionally, he wears it in a bun most of the time. Tommy doesn't know where he learned braiding (it's Techno. He used to braid Techno's hair)

• on the topic of muscle memory: both are still extremely good fighters. sometimes their accuracy during training, the aim to kill, will scare them more than they'd like to admit (they only do some training because of mobs n stuff and also just for fun)

• Dream tames a horse and names it Ghost

• Tommy has a cow named Charly

oh here comes the angst. beware. tw: scars, past torture, implied past abuse, fear/panic, memory issues, dissociation/derealization, self-hatred, depression, you know the drill - common fucked up s1 shit

• they both still have all their scars of s1

• and often Dream will wonder: "who did that to us? who did that to Tommy - he's a fucking KID for Prime's sake..." ... yeah... who would do something this cruel...

• Tommy one day admits that he is scared that whoever hurt them, whoever tortured them (he especially looks at Dream's torn skin, looking like it was cut and sewn together, only to be cut again - systematically - it scares him) may come back, to finish them off for good.

• Dream vows to himself to never let that happen.

• the thing is - they are so convinced that they've been through all this pain together, that they've been victims of the same cruel person

• I can imagine Tommy having heavy dissociation/derealization problems if he ever regains his memories since he can't see both of the Dreams (c!Dream and s2 Dream) as the same person-

• I'm not sure if dissociation is the right word here - but my point was, Tommy can't connect these two so vastly different "personas" of Dream into one person, it doesn’t make sense to him, it can't be the same person

• tldr: it's just really fucking with his head

• and Dream would just be so fucking horrified and scared of himself, of what he has done, and probably drown in self-hatred and depression and guilt-

I don't want them to regain their memories, for their own sake

SEASON 2 DREAM DESIGN LITTLE GUY WOOO

Some infos about his design

-The remains of Techno's crown (which got severally damaged after the nuke) now floats on his head like that. He doesn't remember where he got it from, but he likes it and think it looks cool on him

-All his prison and war scars are now freckles covering his body

-The crack on his head is what remains from the huge crevasse he got from prison in season one, and it can't be healed like other small cracks

-he owns LOTS of snakes, each one has its own name. Some of them do look and act like people he knew but don't remember though

-He has a red patch on his overalls from Tommy's T-shirt, he tripped and damaged it and Tommy felt bad lol

-His clothes are made to fit him in any form he takes when shapeshifting

s2 au where the plan™ works out and c!Dream and c!Punz manages to reset the server

but now the plan worked out. Everyone (except c!dream and c!punz cause they were the ones that caused it) has forgotten what happened and it's more or less peaceful. Sooo what now?

c!Dream has kind of lost his purpose and goal now. He can't keep following the plan cause the plan is already done, so what can he do? It's time for the trauma he's been running from to finally catch up to him. He's having a bit of an existental crisis but it's fine, he's alright, this is everything he wanted, right?

At least c!Punz is there to help him!

There’s a dramatic moment as the egg cracks, and an arm bursts out of it. The Eggpire cowers in horror as a man with hair the color of blood claws his way out of the broken shell, covered in crimson goo.

Velvet takes his first breath on this mortal plane, and then he laughs, a loud, unhinged and utterly terrifying cackle that echoes in the cavern and makes even the great demon BadBoyHalo cower in terror. He raises his arms skyward, laughing madly, hysterically as he realizes he’s alive.

And then he chokes on phlegm, and his cackling devolves into loud, exaggerated choking and coughing.

There’s a beat of awkward silence. The former members of the Eggpire glance uncomfortably at one another.

Velvet finally stops coughing.

He grimaces, glancing around. Then he sniffs loudly, and scratches his ass before loudly announcing, “Christ on a cracker, I gotta piss like a goddamn racehorse. Is there a bathroom around here or can I just whip it out right here?”
