HIS BROWS TWITCH AS PAPER MEETS HEAD, both confused & vaguely irritated at the contact. if ace is pestering him in class again he’s in a world of trouble. however when deuce turns his head & sees yuu-san in his peripheral his expression softens somewhat. he trusts them not to bother him in class without reason.

HE PICKS UP THE PIECE OF PAPER, unfolding it slowly as not to be caught by trein-sensei. however when he reads the single word he immediately feels his face redden, eyes wide. he whips his head around to look at yuu once more, face a rosy pink. ❛ who told you? ❜ he hisses.

Hi! So I’ve been following your work for a few years (I think around the time you posted mystic messenger and enstars art) and I think one of my guilty pleasures from your art is whenever you draw the kids for your ships (like Lumine and Xiao’s son). I always love the designs you create for the kids/OCs(technically?), I remember when you drew Dimitri and Byleth’s son from a few years back and thinking that it was a hella cool design for him. And since then I always looks forward to whenever you post ship children. Ofc this isn’t me pressuring you to draw more of those, draw whatever makes you happy, I just wanted to say that those types of drawings are awesome to see and that it actually inspired me to go back into drawing too cause I find it surprisingly enjoyable to draw ship kids/when you merge two (or more) characters you love into one (or more) person (I’m looking at you adeeuyuu; the only ot3 that has my heart more than it should)

AH... ;__; THANK U SO MUCH FOR UR SUPPORT ALL THESE YEARSSS!!! and honestly ur right.!!! designing kids is so fun bc it's an awesome way to imagine what ur two fav characters wld look like combined + it adds an extra dynamic to the pairing ... think of all the fluffy family art u can draw of them!!

@blotspare: "You rescued me again." Since he found them with the black eye, Deuce has been... definitely a touch more protective. He'd prevented another fight, and Yuu can't help but laugh at his serious expression as the other stalks off. "You're a knight! Or maybe a prince." When they pass him, a hand lands on his shoulder and their lips press to his cheek, however quickly. "Thanks," they exclaim as they take off running to class, glancing over their shoulder at him with a grin. “Prince Deuce!”

DEUCE IS FAMILIAR WITH THE TYPE OF VIOLENCE involved in school fights. it’s not something he’s particularly proud of these days but it doesn’t make that any less true of a statement. he doesn’t like to get caught up in fights anymore. it’s not the kind of behavior that’ll make him the son his mom can be proud of. but sometimes fights can’t be avoided & if his mom were here with him, deuce hopes she’d be proud of him for stepping in to save his friend.

HE FEELS A LITTLE SHAKY AS WATCHES YUU’S ATTACKER SULK OFF, his hands throbbing as he drops his fists to his sides. maybe he shouldn’t have thrown a punch that hard at that guy. but how could he not after what he’d witnessed? it would make anyone sick to their stomach. deuce is glad to see yuu seems relatively okay though.

IN FACT YUU SEEMS SO OKAY THAT THEY DECIDE TO LEAN IN & press a kiss to deuce’s cheek. the boy stiffens. while he’s familiar with school fights & has been since his first year of middle school, this would be the first time someone did that after one. actually it would be the first time anyone’s done that at all...well except his mom but deuce doesn’t think that counts.

❛ I...I...UH--- ❜ he starts stammering, cheeks immediately reddening as he drops his gaze to the ground. god he looks so dumb right now! he never knows what to say in these kinds of situations. not that he has any experience with them to help with that. he’s just grateful ace isn’t anywhere nearby to make fun of him. ❛ don’t mention it. ❜ deuce mumbles bashfully, still unable to meet yuu’s eyes. he doesn’t look up until they’ve already left his side, a slight spring in their step as they rush off to class. deuce raises a hand to touch the spot on his cheek where yuu’s lips had brushed them, feeling strangely dizzy as he starts to move to his next class.

god, he’s gonna be late. this is no way to become an honor student.
