I don't know if people often write about themselves on Tumblr, because I'm new here btw, but I will♡

My name is Maya and I'm almost 18 years old. Of course, I'm still 17, but I'll be 18 in less than 3 months, so don't worry about that.

I like a lot of things! In fact, I love watching anime and doramas, as well as following K-Pop groups♡. I'm a fan of 90+ K-Pop groups, so you can imagine.

I can't say that I've watched that many animes. However, I've watched One Piece, Naruto (Classic and Shippuden), Death Note, Sailor Moon, Futari wa Pretty Cure, Citrus, InuYasha, Tokyo Revengers and Demon Slayer. I didn't finish all of these, but I got to watch a little (or a lot).

I confess that I have a special affection for One Piece, Naruto and Death Note. They are definitely works that saved my life.

DORAMAS

I love doramas! I will contextualize dramas here, like every kind of Asian series/show.

So I'll start with my all-time favorite dorama, Hana Yori Dango, and some of its international versions, which are Boys Over Flowers and Meteor Garden. Also, I also love Alice in Borderland, Girl from Nowhere, All Of Us Are Dead, 1 Litre of Tears (this was the saddest drama I've ever watched in my life, I cried SO MUCH when I saw it...), 14-sai no Haha, and King the Land.

I also like the Thai lesbian movies called Yes or No and Yes or No 2.

SERIES

I've also watched some series, like Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Riverdale, Stranger Things, Orange Is The New Black, Euphoria, Game of Thrones (although I haven't finished most of them because I have ADHD) , and many others...

MUSIC

Besides K-Pop, I also like some solo singers like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Lana Del Rey, Melanie Martinez, Adele, Mitski, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Avril Lavigne, Madonna, Akon, Nelly Furtado, and others...

And rock bands... Like Evanescence, Paramore, Pierce the Veil, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Panic! at the Disco, Tokio Hotel and more more...

Uh oh UnboundTale spoilers look away lol

So these guys haven’t been introduced fully in the comic yet cuz ✨their existence is a spolier✨, but since they only appear much later in the story (or early depending on how you look at it lol) I don’t get many opportunities flesh them out. I’ve been wanting to revisit them for a while, and so I decided the day to revisit them is now!

Meet: the Souls and Robotics team

Aka, Exo’s found family before the fire nation attack- I mean before the events of the main comic. The Lab Team™️ consists of young and talented bright minds tasked with developing experimental cyborg models for the betterment of sCIENCE.

They more so exist for backstory reasons, and because of that they’re kindof underdeveloped as individual characters. I’m wanting to make a mini comic series about them eventually to develop them more. But as they say, you need a canvas before you can start painting, so I needed to make a new base to work off of since their designs before are vERy outdated lol. If there’s enough interest I might make another post talking about each of them, but for now ima just leave you with the pretti art lol

I wanted to make a note about the last gorl. So I made two character named Cherrybomb over the years, those being the original candy demon and a slime girl. The slime girl was originally gonna be an utauloid but it never ended up happening. And I figured since if I tried just updating the candy demon design it would just end up looking like Moxie from Helluva Boss, so I just fused both designs lol. Honestly I think the lil slime devil gremlin makes for a more fun design.

Ghosts, part of Book 1: Reality (see previous or series)

Summary: A fight leaves team members wounded.

Warnings: Short chapter of quick action fighting a slightly disturbing enemy. Paranormal horror for like three seconds. Rated Teen/Mature, so 15+ only, please.

CHAPTER NINE—June 2038

“This is some real Game of Thrones sh—” Tony was interrupted by a dirt zombie, as he dubbed them, lunging to eat his face. “Fresh out of brains. Please come back tomorrow for salisbury steak.”

“Only you could look at these things and think of food,” Falcon mumbled into his comms, flying high across the battlefield assessing the movements of hundreds, now thousands of temporarily animated bodies.

“Maximoff, you got any dragons?”

“Stark, you’re a child,” Wanda replied, ripping apart an entire group of demons with her mind and a graceful gesture.

Iron Man flew over to hover in front of her. “It’s so nice to be noticed.”

Bucky lifted his gun after reloading, back to back with Natasha. “Can I retire yet? I can’t take another twenty years of this.”

“I swear, Barnes, if you leave me with him…” Nat jumped headlong into a cluster of the evil dirt clods. The bodies broke apart easily enough, but the noise—their howling cries from hell—it was very disturbing. “Oh, god, it got in my mouth,” Nat spat.

“This feels like a video-game,” Peter Parker exclaimed joyously. “They’re not even scary.”

“Coming in hot,” Rhodes warned, peppering the flank with machine gun fire.

It all seemed so standard and even comfortable. This was their element, sass-fighting, and it made Tony almost happy to relinquish his considerable brain power entirely to wiping out these pitiful foes in the Siberian tundra.

“Anyone else feel that?” Wanda’s voice dropped. “Is that an earthquake?”

“Get ready,” Nat warned solemnly.

Now he could see it in flight, a visibly rolling, barren field beneath him, and a great hole collapsing in its center, glowing like lava.

“Falcon,” Tony yelled, launching to get Wanda out of the way.

“I’ve got him.” Sam Wilson swooped down to grab Spider-Man before the ground fell.

A massive blood-red body emerged from the crevice, thin and stretched to four times the size of a man. A starving form of bone and sinew that rose higher and higher as the earth fell away from the demons he commanded. They all had faces, souls of those who had left this world.

Surrounding Bucky and Nat were the ghostly victims of their assassinations. Men and women staring blankly at them while closing in. People they had already watched die, people daring them to do it again. Problematic politicians, clinging mistresses, rival businessmen, and one small figure Bucky didn’t recognize: a child, maybe a teenager. He heard Nat whisper beside him.

“It can’t be.”

Tony set Wanda down at a safe distance. He turned and began to say “what is that thing—” Then he saw his mother, gossamer and despairing. “Mom,” he breathed.

A flash of blue circled Wanda, slowing to stand in front of her and wink. “It’s not real, Stark. They’re not real.”

The great fiery figure let out a roar, flailing his gangly arms and spiked tail into the air. A hand clipped the EXO-7’s wing, crashing Sam and Peter into the ground among a crowd of souls. The mouths of every wraith unhinged to resonate the horrible shriek of their master.

Lightning struck.

“MEPHISTO,” Thor called, “you will leave this world and its people alone!”

Satan and his hoard replied with a cry, the specters all turned to attack the God of Thunder.

“I do not ask twice,” Thor threatened as the sparks began to dance around his body. The air turned electric, and no sooner had the ghosts sailed into the air to meet him than the field exploded with light and death.

Introduction of Sorts + Interests

This page will really be for me to get back into writing, develop my writing and indulge myself. I’m open to requests though but ask people to definitely contextualize your Bias (person you’re requesting for—yes I’m gonna use K-pop lingo oh well) and/or the scenario cause otherwise I’d simply write for myself. Which is why I also am making this page because I’ve been on tumblr for 10 years (my main account turned ten this year) and I’m worn out of the smut fest no prose or story fics. Definitely has its place in the community but the older I get the more I need actual full blown delusion. I need scene, setting, set up, climax, denouement…and so I’ll fulfill the order myself. 🫡

**the long story short and overall caveat of why I’ve fallen out of love for groups and K-pop are the fact that yeah as a Black person I genuinely started getting pissed off with colorism, n-word usage, appropriation, and mockery. The shit gets old and as a poor old super fan I’m happy I didn’t spend the money people do for folks who would literally refuse my hand…🫤 be fr. Likewise, the deaths of idols who were literally my biases really (of course) bothered me and took a toll on my enjoyment of the genre too. The more you love it the more you learn and that’s usually where the fun ends and now it’s numbers charts and placements. Lame 😭. I let the time I was fan be that but otherwise ? Neon White, or just White, is what some would call an attack dog …that comes running when you offer treats. Deadly and precise! Showing the incredible speed and endurance that comes with being a top ranking Neon and!

He's easy to fluster.

He fumbles over his words, he calls himself a cool lone wolf, brags about not needing a tutorial (and asks for confirmation. there will be one. right?) and over everything else— he gives it his all to impress the beautiful and mysterious Neon Red.

While White is a tarnished sinner who has been condemned to the depths of hell; his temporary stay in Heaven allows us to see that he's a silly goofball, confused, and trying hard to play it cool. It isn't that hard for him to do the latter, if you consider it to be… his own spin on it.

history / background:

Little is known about Neon White's past… simply because he doesn't remember it. He wonders if it comes from the fact that it's his first time participating in the 10 days of Judgment - a contest held in Heaven to grant a single sinner to remain in the Holy Land. These competitors, called ‘Neons’ are tasked with slaying the demons that constantly try to crawl up into celestial delights.

Neons have the opportunity to participate in the 10 days of Judgment once a year, and whoever exterminates the most demons is able to remain in Heaven. But, even God's mercy has its limitations, the single winning Neon must uphold their title in the next contest and so on- if they want to remain indefinitely.

What if they don't comply? If the sinner decides, “No, I will not do this!” ? Well, all Neons have a mask forced upon them that is hardwired to explode if they don't stay in Heaven’s good graces, or, if they try to take it off. So, it's either win or get sent back to hell at the hands of a demon/explosion to the face. So, Who doesn't like those odds?

However, how did White come to be picked for the 10 days?

There are hints of who White used to be. A mercenary (presumably), born in 1983 (maybe), who worked in contract killing along with a small team of elite criminals, who just also happen to be Neons; The Cool and Mysterious Red, the Brotastic and Loud Yellow, the Cute Gore Enthusiast Violet, and the Cold and Goal-driven Green. Everything he knows about himself comes from the mouths of these people, at least until his memory gets a jog……

powers / abilities:

Due to being dead, the nature of White's "Powers" are inherent, but still come from his possession of soul cards.

These cards are summonable at will, and turn into a weapon, when they are 'discarded' they instead give White an ability. The cards are:

Purify: Characterized by Purple. When in use it manifests as an LMG, when discarded it allows White to plant bombs with a blast that not only destroys everything caught in it but also launches White.

Elevate: Characterized by Yellow. When in use it manifests as an Automatic Pistol, when discarded it gives White an extra in-air jump, allowing him to reach new heights.

Godspeed: Characterized by Blue. When in use it manifests as a Sniper Rifle, when discarded it gives white a boost, a dash attack, in any desired direction.

Stomp: Characterized by Green. When in use it manifests as an SMG, when discarded it allows White an explosive stomp, destroying everything in a near radius- including hard surfaces.

Dominion: Characterized by Teal. When in use it manifests as a Grenade Launcher, when discarded it provides White with a single-use grappling hook that disappears after its task is done.

Fireball: Characterized by Red. When in use it manifests as a Shotgun, when discarded it launches White in any desired direction.

Book of Life: A soul card made from a page of the Book of Life, it allows White to teleport.

inherent abilities:

Supernatural speed, strength, and endurance: Comes with being dead, and a Neon, after all the spirit was chosen for the hunting of demon insurrection in Heaven.

Walking over water: Just spiritual things. Neons are faster when running over water, but they can also choose to sink or be made to.

Skilled fighter: Specifically with firearms, and a katana, hand to hand? unknown.

Charm: Dorkish but cool. What's not to love?

Supernatural proficiency at parkour: Heaven is full of pitfalls you know? They like their buildings really high up in the clouds. Neons have to travel around somehow. While in-game it's shown Neons are immune to explosions, it is mentioned that the Mask they wear is explosive, and will kill them. So I'm attributing White's ability to propel off explosion blasts to. Parkour.

Katana: A weapon is chosen by Heaven, for it represents White's Soul. It's always in his person as the summonable Katana Card.
