What Degrassi storyline would you rewrite if you could?

So many, but it's Pride Month, so I'd fix the Gracevas arc. We did not need to be lectured by the writers that sometimes girls that dress alternative are not lesbians just because a couple of male characters say so. There was no good reason for them to emotionally torture Zoe by having Grace lead her on for multiple episodes, going as far as having sex with her, only to tell Zoe the next day that she's straight and never had feelings for her. All of this from Zoe's perspective, robbing the audience of understanding Grace's perspective and cruelly tricking their WLW viewers. We could have gotten to Zoe's internalized homophobia and self harm arc in plenty of other ways. Zaya, a straight couple, had more than enough drama on their own and Gracevas shouldn't have been brought down just because Zig needed someone to cheat with because ~plot twist~.

Anyways, if I had it my way, Zoe and Grace's relationship would have been a slow burn. Both would separately work through their issues (Zoe's internalized homophobia/Grace struggling to let other people in) before becoming a couple at the end of the second season. They absolutely would have been each other's endgame. For once, we would have gotten a queer endgame that involved two characters the writers were invested in rather than one they favored + a love interest that basically existed to give that character a relationship.
