"Sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done wondrous deeds;
His right hand has won victory for Him, His holy arm.
Let the sea and what fills it resound, the world and those who dwell in it;
Let the rivers clap their hands, The mountains shout with them for joy before the LORD."
~ Psalms 98:1,7

Quran is a treasure of good deeds.
Belief in Allah is the best of the good deeds because it shows the way to Quran and the Quran shows the treasure towards the good deeds which perhaps no other Scriptures have. Even being wealthy and doing lots of charity work for either humans or animals or the environment cant make you complete until you have a belief in Allah and its teachings. This is what this English billionaire said although he was rich he was missing something when he found Quran, he was surprised to find that, Quran teaches Muslims to save a life instead to take a life. It's amazing.

"In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains,
On the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins and arrows,
In sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame,
The good deeds a man has done before defend him"

Buddhism teaches the importance of repentance.
While it's encouraged not to commit sins in the first place – the best course of action – even if someone has committed a sin, those who repent for their wrongdoing are considered wise.
On the other hand, those who commit sins are seen as foolish, and those who try to hide the sins they've committed are even more foolish.

Kindness is a sincere desire for the happiness of others; goodness is the activity calculated to advance that happiness. Kindness is the inner disposition, created by the Holy Spirit, that causes us to be sensitive to the needs of others, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Goodness is kindness in action – words and deeds. Because of this close relationship, we often use the two words interchangeably.
