A friend of mine asked me if what kind of follower would my OC be? My response is that my OC will not be a follower. Instead he's a merchant that you can run into a Crusade.
He will start appearing once you build a demon summoner.
You need to equip a demon of your choice and enters Darkwoods.
He will appear on any "?" room. He will sell you a demon that does alittle better than normal summoning demon. ( deal more damage, shoot more projectile, more hearts, faster collection..etc )
The demon that you buy will disappear once you finish your crusade or once you finally beat the boss of the crusade. ( So they are only usable for 1 run each, you can buy another demon on your another run if you encounter him )
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First Meet : "Oh didn't expect to see anyone here in the middle of the broken land of Old Faith. You see this thing here. I captured it awhile ago..it's alittle bit feisty. Hmm considering that you already have one, why I trade this one for you with some gold."
Common Voice Lines
"Hey there Stranger. Come here for the latest sle-*cough cough* ok never doing that voice again.
"Oh hey, didn't see you there. Come and check these out"
Rare voice lines
*Hmming a song*
"You know....sometimes I wonder what ever those bishops goes when they died"
"I heard that there's a cottage where people gather to play Knucklebones...I wonder if I should visit there"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you give him a demon ( you will lose follower for that ), he will reward you with a tarot card that allows Demons to perfrom better. An extra heart. Another Card that allows Deamon performance to be faster.

Love working for a client with those daemons who bring in love, and yes there are those which do, to work today on bringing love to our world and also to reunite those lovers regardless of their sex, race or creed, who have separated back together again as long as they choose to do so.
Daemon's are seen as really evil, and I blame the church and movies for much of that. Daemon's belong in the realm of the dark, demoted there from their position as ancient gods and goddesses once revered. They are not evil, they are adapted to the dark, they can help you when you are in the dark place because they see what we cannot in our journeys of darkness.
I also work with them during the winter months too because I find their energy is more powerful with me at this time. I offer whiskey to them for their work today and also incense.
Are daemons dangerous? No more than driving a car, it's about preparation, ensuring you are in the right mind, in the right lane, checking it's safe to overtake or turn out of a junction, it's concentration, being alert and safe which we all do when driving. It's about respect and asking enough for what is needed.

Hello, could I get a reading with the Deamon deck. I would like to know how IG feels about me and will he open up to me and tell me how he truly feels? -AV
Hi, there!
So, I will give you a reading from the Daemon tarot, but it’s not going to tell you how IG feels about you and what he’s going to do next because:
1) that’s not a thing any tarot deck can tell you because tarot is randomized bullshit, it is not a prediction method and cannot tell you the future
2) the only effective way to use this stuff is as a barometer for what your intuition is already telling you, and you don’t always know what someone else is going to do or how they’re truly feeling.
3) the Daemon tarot seems to be kind of all over the map so far as an oracle deck, so my expectations for it actually providing any insight into such a specific question are low.
As a case in point, you seem to have drawn a card for a demon who is literally the Lord of Shit. Hmm.
Tumblr media
Belphegor, in case you can’t read the card, is “associated with the Deadly Sin of Sloth” and his followers “give offerings to him while taking their daily rest on the toilet.” Charming. The book adds that he gives inspiration for inventions to his followers, but these are often scams and get-rich schemes that come to nothing.
So the lesson assigned to this card is a warning to you not to trust anything that seems like a quick fix, an easy solution, or a consequence free escape from your problems. That could also apply to tarot itself: don’t ever trust anything as false and randomized as a tarot card to give you actual advice or a real solution to your problems. If you want to know what IG is feeling, the only way to find out is to talk to him directly. The tarot will give you no outs.
Dammit, that actually turned out to be a very accurate card. Dammit. Lol.

Oi more South Park art sorry my dudes Based on the Tarot card “the tower” Here’s why: The character (if it’s not obvious) is Stan Marsh Stan’s family suffers from various forms of addiction; gambling, alcohol, marijuana, etc. Stan starts the series off as a basic normal kid who likes animals and football. He always, however, seems to be aware of how dumb the adults in his town seem to be. (We as viewers ought to keep in mind that Stan is the voice of Trey Parker who is the driving force behind South Park and the rest of the town is meant to be a satirical representation to society as a whole with the exception of Kyle who is Matt’s voice.) As the series goes on, Stans character goes through a progressional decline into his "destiny" so to speak. One of the main ideas most addicts believe is that Addiction is genetic and that if your parents/ grandparents have suffered from it you are more likely too yourself (or "already are one") Of course the MAJOR turning point for him are the episodes "You're Getting old" and "Assburgers" in which he is basically diagnosed clinical depression (in South parks backwards way of doing things of course) but even before these episode you can see his tolerence level drop and decline as he struggles with problems of over indulgence/ letting things he desires take control over him and his actions. End game or the series "so far" Stan is depressed and alcoholic, kinda like Trey in his 20's.
NOW The Tower Is all about Falling from a previous position of "happiness" into an almost fated representation of Darkness/ Genetic consequence. This can mean familial discourse OR inner conflicts. Stan suffers from both. The lighting is shown typically in all Tower cards to represent fear and power, as well as necessity of life energy. With out lightning the soil would not be able to allow things to grow, just like with out the fall from the tower the individual will not be able to face "inner deamons" and grow/ move on. Contrary wise you have to realize things are broken before you can fix them you have to fall and hit rock bottom before you take the steps you need to. in order to survive. The Reason he is in a Tree house is a throw back to the Season 2 episode "Clubhouses" In which Kyle and Stan attempt to make a Tree house in Stan's back yard but it kinda sucks (that's why it's not finished) I imagine he still has it because he never bothered to take it down, and as a teen he sneaks up there to get out of his house when his parents are fighting and have a fucking drink my dudes. . . This episode also shows one of the first times his parents get into a big fight (divorce actually) and the effect it has on Stan +Randys disinterest in Stan a start of the divide. IDK just my take y'all I know his face looks weird but I got lazy fight me

54 of 70 sigils
In the Deamon Tarot, there are 69 demons depicted with the 70th illustration never being named.  That is why in Baphomet’s Maze 70 sigils are needed to bypass it completely.  If I use Baphomet’s Maze as a metaphor for life with Depression, then maybe by the end of it, I will find the cure.  Realism and skepticism dictate that that statement is impossible, so how about I just shoot for a natural anti-depressant?  I’ve tried the pills before, though I’ve never had therapy.  My greatest fear came to life when the pills didn’t help me.  They dulled the pain enough to make it tolerable, but even with chemicals, I didn’t have the connection.  The reason I have never sought professional help is that, when I could afford it, I didn’t know I needed help.  When I realized I did, I couldn’t afford it anymore.  Even with insurance, I couldn’t afford therapy and running out of meds was a dangerous time for me.  But I made it through the detox period and realized I didn’t need it.
I may not feel happy and, yeah, I’m still depressed.  I still think about suicide just to end the pain.  But I can’t let the depression get the better of me.  It’s not a flaw in character, it’s a flaw in chemistry.  I know there are others like me out there.  I thought I had an idea of who there were, but maybe I was wrong.  It wouldn’t be the first time I mistook a demon lesson for the truth.  The bitter cynic in me wants to end the thought there, but the perpetual dreamer won’t stop asking “what-if”? However, instead of stumbling down that road of tangents for too long, I’ll just leave them a book to read later.  A little thought of hope for the dreamer to chew while I set about the task of figuring out what to do.  A little piece of happy to get me through. Until then, I have a plan.  First to pull me a reading using the Daemon Tarot.  15 cards, 15 demons, 15 sigils to earn.

bnha oc Yume    finaly had time to draw my  Teacher from Class A from my My hero academia ff. Her name is Yume Nitsunagaki, I realy love her design she looks so different from the most OC I drew in the past (her eyes are difficult). I gave her some cool hero suit in dark colors and my favorite weapon, small sythes.(Like Kohaku fromInuyasha) (sorry when the text has failures I was to bored to check it thousend times) Now she acutaly looks like she is a deamon hunter from Inuyasha XD. Her Hero name Nightingale comes from the nightingale floor, because she can see something bad happening before it happens. She owns a book with different meenings of her dream like tarot card vision quirk. For some reason, I forgott, she became the partner of Bakugo. He needed someone, He is a character who doesn't suit to a  partnership that well, so it was difficult to gave him one. But in the end I found someone I guess she is fine for him. A calm person who knows her strenges and knows to use it, also against this big meany guy.  It's like he found a place he can rest. (btw Kirishima was a little jealous, even when he had a wife(t) and a son.) the have a son, his momental name is Yuka, but I'm not sure about the name and the quirk jet.  102550100 NestedThreadedFlat Oldest FirstNewest First

Serpent’s 30 days of witchcraft Challenge
All of these posts will be tagged “Serpent Witchcraft challenge” in case you want to join! How to join: Reblog this post. Every time you write a report or something for this challenge, make sure to add a link to this post so it’s easy for everyone to find. You can join at any time. Resources: You may use any blog, website or book you can find. If you are using spells written by someone else, make sure to post a link or a source. You can use my blog for resources too. I reccomend using my tag list to find what you are looking for. (CTRL+F can be very helpful when searching for something in this list) http://the-serpent-witch.tumblr.com/tagged/taglist If you are having trouble with parts of the challenge, please message me! The challenge:
Day 1: Write one post about what you wish to accomplish before the end of the challenge. Make sure you have 2 or 3 short term goals, such as “By the end of the challenge, I want to have cast or crafted three different kinds of spells with the goal of protecting myself” or “By the end of the challenge, I want to be able to write at least 400 words about how to use sigils”
Day 2: Find at least 20 songs that make you feel like practicing the craft. Share the list, tag the post with “Serpent Witchcraft Challenge music”
Day 3: Read some of these articles, but at least one. What is your opinion? Can we still learn from each other if we are not willing to share our experiences openly? http://sarahannelawless.com/2011/07/01/oversharing-witches/ https://thetwistedrope.wordpress.com/2015/10/13/thoughts-on-oversharing/
Day 4: If you’re not doing this already, start a journal. Write about your day, about what kind of witchy things you have done, and what kind of magick you could have done to improve your day, or to improve something in the future. It might also be time to start a Grimoire, if you’d like. This month is a good month to start, because you will be doing some interesting things that are worth documenting.
Day 5:  What do you do to protect yourself? Check all your protection spells, redo them if necessary,, add a little extra energy to them. Now find one new way of protecting yourself that you haven’t tried yet. Try it.
Day 6: Take a picture of something that has strong witchy associations for you. Make sure it’s nothing too personal.
Day 7: Research the use of sigils. Create a sigil. (Check my Sigils_xAll tag)
Day 8: Watch a movie or episode of a series about witchcraft.
Day 9: Share your favourite story or myth from folklore/mythology.
Day 10: Try tasseography. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tasseography
Day 11: Trime for some kitchen witchcraft. Cook something and share the recipe. If you would like, you can also tell us what you have done to add magick.
Day 12: What is your favourite herb, your favourite flower, your favourite tree and your favourite crystal? Find correspondences for all of these. Perhaps you can also find the meaning of the colours of your favourites?
Day 13: Spend some time with something you’d like to work with more often. This could be a favourite crystal, a tarot deck, runes.. Hold it and meditate, but keep your journal handy. Write down anything that comes to mind. You may find it easier to (re)connect than you had expected.
Day 14: Do you work with deities, or would you like to? Tell us why or why not. If you do work with one, it’s time for an offering. If you are not working with one, but would like to, find some info about deities you might be interested in.
Day 15: This is the beginning of the third week. Try meditating for 10 minutes every day for 7 days.
Day 16: Create a correspondence list.
Day 17: Choose a topic such as Tarot, Runes, etc. Place all objects in the set in front of you. Go to random.org and make the amount of cards/runes/etc the max in the “True Random Number Generator” Whatever number comes up, you will pick that card/rune and write about it. What do you already (think you) know? How does it make you feel? Do research.
Day 18: Pick a famous or well known witch or occultist. Watch videos they posted on youtube, interviews, check their website, read a bit about the books they wrote. How do you feel about them, their image, their path, their opinions and views?
Day 19: Write about something of your choice. Anything.
Day 20: Write a spell. I have made a PDF you can use to record all of your spells: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3NcSPOYec9dcnpkTGVaSE54OEE/view?usp=sharing
Day 21: Did you remember to do your 7 days of meditating? Good! If not, that is fine too! It’s time to do something nice. Go to one of your favourite blogs, and send them a nice message. It doesn’t have to be anything witchy. Aditionally, you could work on your correspondence list.
Day 22: Pick 5 symbols. These may be religious symbols, or anything significant in history. Research their history and meaning.
Day 23: Do you use technology in your magick? Try it, even if it’s just something small.
Day 24: Burn something. Anything. Collect the ashes. What could you use these for? Try to find a way to use them in your magick.
Day 25: Fetches. Have you ever heard of them? Do some research. I’ve got some for you already, But I’m sure you can find some more info:  http://traditionalwitchcraft.tumblr.com/post/45147381368/the-fetch http://everythingunderthemoon.net/forum/forming-fetch-t25079.html
Day 26: Enchant something. Could be jewelry, clothing, your journal or grimoire, or anything else that might be useful when enchanted
Day 27: Today we get creative. Get a jar, some base oil (sunflower, olive, etc) and one or more essential oils you like. Find out what their uses are and make sure they are safe to use on your skin. Mix them, test them to make sure it doesn’t irritate your skin. I made one to use for trance travel, but you can make oils for anything.
Day 28:  Do some research on creatures or entities you know very little about. Dragons, fae, deamons, succubi, etc. Do you believe in their existence? Would you like to work with them?
Day 29: Pick one herb and make it into a water.
Day 30: Congratulations! You have made it to the last day! Bake or buy cookies (post the recipe!), buy some good wine, juice or your favourite drink and celebrate. Maybe you could use the list of songs you made in the first week.
I would like to get feedback if you decide to join me!

Heyo! So I'm a baby witch and I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions (will avoid personal things) about your craft! Unfortunately, I cannot message you directly due to circumstances which prevent me from speaking to people online, so any questions would be via ask.
Ok, so you want to know about my craft…. Shoot. I am also a baby Witch, so I don’t have much with my craft, but I’ll tell you what I do with it. I guess you could say that I am a kitchen witch, mostly because I make tea’s and what not, and I really like to make food. I also do tarot and rune readings, so I guess you could also say that I am a fortune teller? I don’t know. But I will say this: If you do anything, please research what you are wanting to do. Weigh in the pros and cons of what could happen so you don’t have to worry that you messed up on something or so you don’t accidentally kill yourself or others. I don’t care if you are a ‘harm none, do as ye will’ or 'fuck the consequences, I will do it anyways’ kinda witch. All I ask is that you don’t attempt to kill someone because you forgot that Nightshade can be poisonous if you even have more than a very tiny amount in what ever you put it in. And another thing that I have learned is: Deamons are not all that bad. Most of them are just like you or me. Just be respectful to them, if you encounter them, and they’ll be respectful back. I hope that this sorta helps? I am not all that experienced in witchcraft, but with my family being as they are, which I am lucky to have said family, I could probably get information on mostly anything related to witchcraft. So, go ahead and reach out to me any time. I also follow quite a few Witchcraft blogs, so if you want to I could attempt to link all the blogs I follow.Edit: I forgot, go ahead and get personal. I don't mind.

The Forest of Symbols - Part Two: A Bonfire of Sigils
On the morning of the eclipse, I burnt all of my sigils. I had been saving them, and I didn't know why at the time. I had been making at least two, most often more, at one time I launched a shoal of thirteen on a particularly auspicious day, since around the beginning of the year.
I would hang them on the wall in overlapping lines, like dragon scales, placing them in those 'low attention processing' areas recommended by Gordon White over of Rune Soup. They would hang there, I would launch more, I would take them down and put them in a drawer. My first ones I even folded in an octavo style and bound them into a book, convincing myself that I was binding, or forgetting, or doing away with them in this way. I was wrong.
I didn't know I was wrong until I burned them.
They morning was warm, the kids were up, I was home from work because I didn't want to be married to a desk and computer when the first total solar eclipse since 1987 crossed the United States. That would have been ridiculous, that would have been me giving up and becoming a full-fledged Normal...
I stacked up some wood and layered two massive fists of sigils, on both the front and back of the black origami paper I had been using, into the kindling. I placed the tiny purple book of bound sigils on the top, which had taken time and money and sweat to create. I doused the lot of it in accelerant, lit an incense stick, and threw it in, igniting the bunch.
It was the last day of the crocodile headed Decan's period that I spoke of last week. I invoked his grace again, I said the prayer to the sun and the moon from the Hygromantaeia, I repeated the prayer and plea to Saint Cyprian I pulled from the Book of St Cyprian that I used to launch all of the sigils, I did all of this and then I sat and watched them burn.
It was only until they were ash and the rainbow tinged smoke had fully covered me in a mesquite perfume, did I realize why I had had to burn them. By keeping them, I hadn't been lusting after the results that the sigil pseudo-spirits were intended to bring about. I was lusting after the future. Sigils, I realized, were about letting go of the future. Sigils are a way to trust the future to your future self and to anchor yourself in the moment and to connect with those spirits that are there right then. Communication needs to be established before power can be realized.
I started a new book this week, yes, I know, another one. When I got this one in the mail yesterday I couldn't hep but tear into it though, its premise is thoroughly fascinating to me. The title of the book is 'Staying With The Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthulucene' and it is written the multi-species anthropologist Donna J Haraway. The immediate attraction for me to this book should be evident, but I am finding with every sentence I devour that it connects to my life, both mundane and magical, in so many ways. Let's look at her explanation of the term Chthulucene to start:
"Chthulucene is a simple word. It is a compound of two Greek roots (khthon and kainos) that together name a kind of timeplace for learning to stay with the trouble of living and dying... on a damaged earth. Kainos means now, a time of beginnings, a time for ongoing, for freshness. Nothing in kainos must mean conventional pasts, presents, or futures. There is nothing in times of beginnings that insists on wiping out what has come before... Chthonic ones are beings of the earth, both ancient and [new]. I imagine chthonic ones as replete with tentacles, feelers, digits, cords, whiptails, spider legs, and very unruly hair. Chthonic ones romp in multicritter humus but have no truck with sky-gazing Homo. Chthonic ones are monsters in the best sense; they demonstrate and perform the material meaningfulness or earth processes and critters... Chthonic ones are not safe; they have no truck with ideologues; they belong to no one; they writhe and luxuriate in manifold forms and manifold names in all the airs, waters, and places of earth. They make and unmake; they are made and unmade..."
Kainos plugs directly into the description that Peter Levenda gives for the term Aion, in both the Egyptian, Crowleyian, and Lovecraftian sense. A period of time marked by its beginning but one in which there is no discernible end. Aions imbricate upon one another, much like the Anthropocene and the Chthulucene have.
Khthon, in Haraway's description, is an edge straight from the sphere of science to the node of Lovecraft's weird fiction, or at least the atmospheric mist that his fiction has laid upon our forest of symbols.
Along with Chthulucene, Haraway introduces the term 'oddkin':
"Eschewing futurism... staying with the trouble requires making oddkin; that is, we require each other in unexpected collaborations and combinations, in hot compost piles. We become-with each other or not at all..."
Oddkin, in this context, are creatures with no biological relationship, whose ecological, cultural, and dimensional niches are adjacent or intersect one another, and who form a type of beneficial relationship that helps them survive in a world gone mad. I have a feeling that oddkin will be a theme I return to here again in Gnome School. A mutually beneficial relationship between a magician and a spirit entity definitely fits the definition of oddkin, for example.
Lovecraft's prose poem 'Memory' paints for us one of the earliest examples (probably 1919) in his fiction of a world deep in the grip of the Cthulhucene. Take the following quote, for example:
"And within the depths of the valley, where the light reaches not, move forms not meant to be beheld... in and out of deep treasure vaults writhe poison serpents and scaly things without a name..."
Those serpents and scaly things writhing in the pitch of Lovecraft's mind are direct descendants of Haraway's Cthulhucene oddkin, her Cthonic ones.
In 'Memory' we are introduced to two more spirits of Lovecraft's grimoire, the Genie of the Moonbeams and the Daemon of the Valley of Nis. We are given a glimpse of an age in which the spirits rule the earth and man is only a residue upon the surface of the planet:
"The Genie that haunts the moonbeams spake to the Deamon of the Valley, saying 'I am old, and forget much. Tell me the deeds and aspect and name of them who built these things of stone." And the Daemon replied... "These beings were like the waters of the river... not to be understood... for they were but of the moment...""
The tarot card that maps to this lost valley where the spirits discuss the memory of man is the Five of Swords. In the Etteilla tarot, the keyword for the Five of Swords is perte, which maps to Loss and the old English meaning of destruction. Reversed, the keyword is deuil, or mourning. The traditional analysis of the Five of Swords is gain at the expense of others, it is a card of greed and the result of unrepentant avarice. Haraway explains that the Cthulhucene is a response to and comes directly from the Anthropocene, which is defined by our unrepentant and consistent altering of our planet, and what she calls the Capitalocene, an age born out of the Anthropocene but defined by the pursuit of money and other things of questionable value. That value is questioned by the Cthulhucene.
Haraway, in her introduction to the concept of oddkin, tells us that these beneficial, even necessary, relationships between us and those tentacled beasties warming themselves against the earth or asleep frozen in the trenches of the Antarctic Ocean are forged by staying in the moment, the damaged and dangerous moment, instead of lusting for the future.
Which brings us full-circle, and ties this exploration of the spiritual aspects of the act of reading in the sister post from earlier in the week, the Forest of Symbols. In that post I pull on threads laid down by Steven Roger Fisher in his 'A History of Reading', specifically when he states:
"Reading appears to be superficially and parasitically coupled to such primeval cognitive scanning processes as tracking, weaving, tool-making, berry gathering, face and gender recognition and many others, whereby a flood of visual data - shapes, units, patterns, orientation, sequencing - is assessed at a glance."
This at-a-glance pattern recognition learned by our ancestors in the prehistorical forests of our planet, the skill that evolved into how we read today, is the same skill that enables sigils to work. Just like our ancestors, in order for this skill to be optimized, we need to live in the moment that the sigil is created, to be attentive and open to the two-way communication between us and the sigil psuedospirits as they spring to life, becoming our ephemeral oddkin, and enabling us to improve and optimize our cross-dimensional niche construction.
