Making out with Todd Anderson would include~ (+ dry humping)
Tumblr media
(Not my gif)(Requested by anonymous)
- Regardless of how long you’ve been together, Todd has a tendency to dance around the fact that he wants to kiss you; not really knowing how to ask and assuming that he has to ask; as opposed to just doing it. So he’ll sit close to your side and fidget, pondering the best way to go about asking you long enough for you to take notice of his sudden and seemingly unprompted nervousness.
- If you’re going to be making out then you’ve probably been together long enough for this anxious behavior to make you curious. He’s grown comfortable enough in your presence for his typically awkward personality to melt into one of happy confidence so his stilted attempts at conversation and the way he’s playing with his hands; pulling you away from whatever it is you’re doing, has you putting on your detectives hat, trying to figure out what’s wrong.
- Depending on how much experience you have with him, you’ll either realize right away and smile, leaning in to kiss him yourself, or you’ll watch him curiously, growing nervous yourself before he quietly and clumsily scooches closer, leaning in and asking “can I?”, reaching to hold your face in his hand.
- And thus, the fun begins.
- Todd really doesn’t enjoy doing anything in public so you’ll only ever really kiss in the privacy of your rooms: sometimes with a record or the radio on; though you don’t really need it to make things special.
- Sometimes you’ll be in bed, laying face to face as you kiss lazily, gazing into each other’s eyes whenever you part, the sound of rustling sheets and the occasional whispered conversation the only thing that can be heard between you. The two of you can spends hours just laying there, kissing then talking then kissing again.
- Other times you’ll sit on his lap; a move that he particularly enjoys, his face tilted up as you kiss him slow and steady, a bit more passionate than the scenario stated before. You’ll start off sitting beside him but it won’t be enough; a little too awkward and clumsy for your tastes, so you’ll take matters into your own hands and climb on top of him, steadying yourself on his shoulders as he races to accommodate you.
- Todd has zero experience when it comes to intimacy so he’ll haphazardly latch his hands onto you in an effort to keep you balanced, awkwardly holding you in his lap before he manages to relax into it; his hesitating hands finally finding a comfortable place to rest.
- You’ll have to teach him as you go; especially if you want to consider yourself his first kiss, giving him teasing instructions the first few times you’re together, coaxing him out of his shell and proving to him that you don’t mind his inexperience. To this day he still thinks about the first time you kissed him, insisting that it wasn’t hard as you smiled at him sweetly, telling him all the steps in order before giving him a much appreciated example.
“First, you do this.”
- But once he’s truly comfortable, he’ll crawl out of his shell and occasionally surprise you with his sudden bursts of giddy bravery: smiling at and teasing you as he pulls you in for a kiss himself. You’re always happy whenever he does, pleased by his apparent trust in you as he allows himself to be himself.
- The two of you move in sync, neither one of you controlling the other or fighting for dominance. He’s willing to give and you’re willing to take and he’s always happy to come to a silent agreement no matter what the outcome is.
- He typically likes to take things slow when he kisses you: moving his lips against yours in a soft and deep kiss, acting as though he’s trying to commit the experience to memory.
- But he also doesn’t mind when you speed things up or kiss him back with a lot more passion: sometimes he even enjoys it, feeling as though it’s a testament to how much you like him. Sex is one thing, making out is another: if you kiss him like that even when you aren’t looking for anything else then you’ve gotta love him, right?
- Sometimes he’ll speak between kisses, saying your name as you attack his lips and asking you questions: some insecure, others completely irrelevant to what's going on. He’ll also murmur out compliments and “I love you’s” while you kiss, feeling the need to show his devotion and love; as if he wasn’t already.
- Once he’s really relaxed into it, his hands will occasionally come up to your face and hold it softly, his thumbs brushing against your cheek bones and his fingers dancing against the sides of your neck.
- He loves when you play nice: playing with his hair, wrapping your arms around his neck and holding him close, peppering kisses over his entire face before you focus on just his lips; he loves it all. It really makes him feel loves; for once!
- He loves any kind of kiss: whether it be on his lips, cheeks or forehead. But he especially loves when a kiss lingers; even if it has to be quick: when an intended peck turns into a little too long kiss and your lips seemingly refuse to part.
- He almost always wants to keep his shirt; and everything else, on due to his insecurities but it doesn’t stop you from moving things along, accepting his discomfort without any complaint before asking “well you don’t mind if I do, do you?”; smiling as his eyes widen and his stutters out a “no.”.
- When he’s feeling brave, he’ll occasionally recite poetry against your lips as if he’s teasingly trying to seduce you, somewhat out of breath as the two of you recline back against the bed, smiling into the kiss and giggling at his words.
- Realistically, you would; at some point, make out in his dorm room and Neil or one of the other poets would walk in on you, resulting in him getting half fives and/or slaps on the back from all the other poets the next time he saw them.
- The first time you rolled your hips against him, he was sure that it was a mistake and tried his best to hold himself back, embarrassed by how quickly his body wanted to react. But then you did it again … and again …and again, and before he knew it, he’d broke down and asked what you were doing, swallowing hard as you asked if he didn’t like it and saying a quiet “no”; the rest of his sentence dying in his throat.
- He lets out whimpers even when you aren’t literally rubbing against him so be prepared for some of the prettiest little noises you’ll ever hear; sometimes resulting from just a simple kiss or innocent touch.
- It’s easy to work him up: his hands grasping and sliding frantically to hold onto your flesh, tightening almost painfully against you, his face breaking away from yours to pant and look you in the eyes or to look down and watch the way your body moves, a flush high on his cheeks.
- His hands almost always stay latched onto some part of your body; usually your back or hips. Even as you grind down on him, he’s still so respectful: merely wanting to pull you closer rather than grope some part of you.
- The closer he gets to finishing, the clumsier his kisses become. He keeps having to remind himself that he needs to kiss you back; and subsequently remember how to kiss you, so sometimes it’s easier to just let him sit back and enjoy as you push him over the brink; his eyes locked on your form like you’re a work of art and/or his hands pulling you closer until you’re completely pressed against him.
- Occasionally, his hips will roll up into yours; a bit clumsy and jolted like he isn’t even meaning to, but then he’ll move just right and pull a moan from your lips and he’ll feel like he’s on cloud nine. He’ll start to move with you and hit that spot over and over again, reveling in the sounds you’re making just for him.
- If you want to make him fall in love with you, kiss his neck and jaw as he cums. The feeling of you loving on him as his hips buck into you for those last few sensitive times, paired with your hand holding his cheek, drives him crazy. He’ll also enjoy it if you play with his hair while he rests his head on your shoulder, his breathing evening out while he rides his high.
- He can’t help but smile when you give him a finishing peck, saying a chipper “love you” while you go to get yourself cleaned up. He’ll sit there in awe and repeat it back to you all slow and drawn out; as though he’s realizing just then exactly how much he loves you.

hc that todd recalls neil while sitting in his bathtub. how neil always wanted to learn how to swim until he almost drowned and his father didn’t help him. didn’t hold out his arm or jump in like a father would have.
he let him drown, the water pounding against his rib cage, a stuttered staccato of underwater pleas, - encasing his mouth and his eyes until his could feel his conscience loosening, slipping out of his body.
his father finally pulls him out, muttering something under his breathe, and hands him a towel.
in that moment todd recalls neil and he wishes he could have helped him find his way out. he could have given his lungs, his heart, his hands to help neil.
but somehow he found his own way out, leaving todd submerged underwater.

Dead Poets Society and cars because I have to take a driving lesson again soon and it's stressing me out:
Neil: he can drive. His dad refuses to let him drive his car, but he does have his licence. Usually only uses it when with the other guys, considering Knox does have a car but everyone prefers Neil's driving. He puts on the radio or random music whenever he can, refuses to have anyone but Todd sitting next to him, starts losing focus mid-song and has to have someone remind him that he's going above speed limits.
Charlie: doesn't have a licence, god forbid he ever does. Tried getting it a few times, kept taking wrong turns and going too fast. Plays music super loudly or shouts lyrics when in a car. Takes the front seat whenever he can, enjoys putting his legs on the board while Cameron explains why that could be fatal for him if they got in an accident (usually responds along the line of "shut up cameron").
Knox: can drive and has a car, but guy is super slow. Won't go above 20 km/h if he can. Super cautious except for that one time he tried to go fast and got a tree branch stuck in his windshield.
Meeks: had his driving licence in one go, didn't make any mistake ever. Only reason Neil drives instead of him is that Meeks usually gets bored of driving pretty quickly or takes breaks every half hour. He also puts the radio on but no music because otherwise he completely loses focus. He knows how to repair a car.
Pitts: never got around passing the exam, knows the theory. Drove his grandpa's car a few times. He usually just likes being in the backseat, reading the maps and shouting directions, or stealing all the snacks.
Cameron: didn't get his license. Won't say why (he accidentally messed up while starting the car once and almost got him and the instructor killed). Feels very much entitled to criticizing others' driving. Usually shouts when they go above speed limits. In charge of the directions with Pitts, except that he gives very unclear instructions ("turn to a 57° angle in 189 hectometers").
Todd: has a driving license, hasn't told a soul. Knows he'd be the assigned driver for parties otherwise. Only drives with his brother, and they usually speak instead of listening to music. He falls asleep in a matter of seconds once in a car, and he gets a seat by the window whenever he can.
Chris: got her driving license as soon as she could, takes care of her car whenever she can. Will never be seen lending her car to anyone -not even her family is allowed to drive it-. Always has plaids in her truck and finds good luck charms to hang to the mirror. Never had any accidents except for that one time she almost ran over a dude (but he was annoying so it's not that bad). Gets out of her car to pet cats when they cross the road.
Mr. Keating: refuses to drive a car. Yes, he does have one. No, he will not use it if he's able not to. He will bike, take the train, walk, jog, power walk, rather than take the car. He lends it to the Poets every once in a while, and Charlie has a copy of his keys.
Stick: I really like Stick so they're an anxious driver like me. Apologizes abundantly when the car breaks even if it isn't their fault, waves when someone lets them go ahead first. Paranoid about going above speed limits or missing a sign. Isn't planning on owning a car but does like driving every once in a while.

so i'm in the middle of a dead poets society breakdown/spiral/hyperfixation/etc, and something I really love about the movie is how nothing changes, if that makes sense. it's a story about a system, and it says, "this is the system. this is who it hurts. the end." there's no happy ending. there's no fix. the characters are left broken by the corruption around them, and by the time someone stands up for what's right, it's too late, the damage has been done, the people have been hurt, and nothing can undo it.
i think that's what i find so fascinating about it. in a lot of modern movies and tv shows, when confronting conformity and the systems that perpetuate it, they tear it down somehow. they make history, if that makes sense. dead poets society isn't history. nothing astronomical happened, truly—it's just a blip in time, a sequence of short events that really weren't important to anyone or anything. it won't be in any history books. no one will remember it fifty, sixty years down the line.
but it happened. and it mattered. and now that you know, now that you've been warned, it's time for you to make history:)

Todd having a crush on Neil’s sister would include~
Tumblr media
(Not my gif)(Requested by anonymous)
(Hope this is what you were looking for!)
- Sociability and tradition: those are the two overarching ideals of the Perry household. To be a Perry is to strive for perfection; or at least strive for the perfection that which your father believes in, and that perfection is molded by the aforementioned values.
- Sociability: you’re raised to be polite and to impress the people your father introduces you to. You’re raised to be an upstanding citizen who attends dinner parties with charming smiles and who your fathers friends will pester their own children about, urging them to be more like you.
- Tradition: you’ve been taught all your life to fit into the role which society has carved out for you. Your brother is going to be a doctor, you’ll be a mild mannered housewife, and the two of you will make your parents proud.
- So, you’re either a carbon copy of your brother or the complete opposite of him. You’ve either leaned more towards the first ideal and became more outgoing or you leaned towards the second and became more introverted; it’s up to you to decide which fits you best.
- If you’re shy, Neil would assume that introducing the two of you would be good for the both of you; thinking that maybe you could help each other break out of your shells. If you’re more outgoing, he’d think that you’d be able to provide Todd with something he himself couldn’t: confidence around women and an understanding and feminine touch.
- You’re pretty; very pretty, and you’re also accepting and sweet and a girl that’s more or less forced to be around him; yet never one that acts as if that’s the case. You act as though he’s a normal part of your visits to your brother and that you like having him there. He never feels awkward that he’s in the middle of a family reunion because you never make him feel that way; never once.
- Todd’s almost certain that Neil’s warned you about the way that he is but at the same time, he isn’t sure. You have this natural way of wrapping him around your finger, persuading him to trust you and being patient with him in a way that doesn’t feel purposeful or belittling.
- The two of you connect. He’s still shy but you push on and talk with him; even though he averts his eyes and stutters or talks so quietly that you almost can’t hear him at all. You ask him for book recommendations and you ramble on to him about poetry: you make him feel normal and that’s something very few people in his life have managed to accomplish.
- His crush on you is almost instantaneous: a boy starved of feminine attention tends to form attachments fairly quickly and easily. He thinks you’re pretty right away, but it doesn’t take long for true feelings to emerge once he takes in your actual personality. After that, it’s a full blown and all consuming crush: one he almost wishes he could take away.
- Sometimes, he can feel himself relaxing around you. He’ll think about making a move, think about asking you out or kissing you and seeing what you do. Sometimes he’ll get really into a conversation then remember how he feels about you; retreating back into himself and becoming that shy boy that you know so well for seemingly no real reason at all.
- And sometimes, he can barely look Neil in the eye: get’s so nervous that he’ll figure it all out, laughs off his jokes with a rising sense of anxiety and fights the wide eyed expressions that want to cover his face whenever he mindlessly mishears him. He has heart palpitations on the daily and he thinks that if this goes on for much longer, he’ll wind up worrying himself into an early grave.
- He writes poems about you, ones he hides beneath his mattress or in other places he knows Neil will never look; even if he knows the contents are ambiguous: that even if he did find them, he’d never be able to tell that they were about you. He just knows that he could never lie to him, that he’d crumble and confess the minute he brought them up and that he’d go the rest of the year shunned for his affections for you.
- But honestly, Todd has nothing to fear but fear himself. He’s worried about Neil's response to his feelings so he does his best to not show anything, yet Neil's anticipated response is so much worse than any reality that would ever plausibly occur.
- Todd’s seen Neil scoff at the other boys when they make jokes about or flirt with you and he’s seen the way he rolls his eyes, and he’s under the impression that it’s a calm sort of dislike: that there’s a boundary there and that though he might not like the flirting, he may think of it as being harmless and that dating is a whole different story. And though he’s not wrong, he’s also not right.
- Neil isn’t your stereotypical overprotective older brother: he’s independent and you’re independent and he doesn’t have a ridiculously close relationship with you or your typical feelings of brotherly protectiveness. He cares about and loves you, teases you over the dinner table and gives you the best advice he can, but he isn’t getting into any fist fights or yelling matches over you. The most he’ll do is tell someone to knock it off if they’re bothering you in front of him; but even Charlie’s flirtation doesn’t really grind his gears.
- And he’s noticed the way Todd looks at you and the way you look at him: the two of you are the two people he pays the most attention to and honestly, he thinks it would be good for both of you.
- If there’s anyone in the group that Neil would feel completely comfortable having his sister in the hands of: it’s meek and shy and awkward Todd; he’s honestly more worried for his friend than he is you.
- Which is why Neil makes the first move.
-  He’s sitting on the radiator one night and he just decides to say it. “Todd, why don’t you take my sister out?”
- Todd splutters and thinks he’s misheard him, turning to face him red faced and wide eyed and asking him an incredulous “what?” as Neil merely smile, shrugs and halfheartedly repeats himself.
“Take her out.” He says quietly, in that gentle tone reserved only for his shyest of friends.
- Todd asks if he’s being serious and Neil responds with a casual “unless you don’t want to”: just to be sure he hasn’t actually misconstrued the situation; even though he’s pretty much certain that he hasn’t.
- And Todd is quiet for several moments before he speaks again: “What does she like: I mean, is the diner okay?”. And Neil decides that yeah, the two of you are going to be alright....

You know the way Todd helped Neil, like, practise his script, and he basically learnt it off by heart, imagen if he like read on most nights when he missed Neil, or recited it because it reminded Todd so much of Neil.
