In both of these scenes, Neil is holding back his sadness. It's like he almost looks- happy.

In the first one he says "keep up the school work " and the second - "I am trapped ". It kills me so much how much of himself he hid.

Even when voicing his troubles, he felt the need to make them more soluble for the person ahead. He smiled through the pain to let them know - "It's not your responsibility to make me feel alright"

People critique that Neil's suicide was sudden. It was layered throughout movie. He smoked a lot - to deal with the stress, he hid behind a mask of happiness.

He was good, he was really good.

dps is such an autumn/winter staple, but it always breaks my heart that neil perry never got to see the spring.

neil died when it was dark and the trees were bare and the cold raged outside his window and he never got to see the sun rise or the flowers bud. early spring is when the world itself begins to hope, ease into the gentleness it deserves. it breaks me that neil perry never got to see that.

just found out that Netflix took out s2 ep 14:“Advanced Dungeons and Dragons” of community on Netflix. I felt shocked and betrayed but then watched it on another source (it’s on Hulu and prime), and ITS LIKE MY HEART HEALED. There is no show that brings me so much joy and comfort as community does fr.
