One morning in 2007, Frances Harper was taking a bath and listening to the local news on BBC Radio Suffolk when one story caught her attention. A young woman, Louise, was being interviewed about her life as a sex worker in Ipswich. “I couldn’t see how this interview was helping her situation at all,” says Harper, who was 60 at the time. “I got out of the bath and made some notes. I realised she needed a documentary to tell her story properly and I thought perhaps I could try to make it.”
Harper had never owned a video camera and had no idea how to shoot a film. She had spent the past four decades working in secretarial jobs, as well as raising her son and supporting her husband in his construction business. “I was busy but something was always missing,” she says. “Something I could do for myself.”
Armed with a sudden sense of purpose and without a current job to keep her occupied, Harper rushed out to buy a basic camera, read the manual and began looking up ways to contact Louise. The police wouldn’t share her details, but after finding the name of her solicitor in the local paper, she left a letter with the firm to be passed on. “Soon after, Louise phoned me and we decided to meet in a cafe in Ipswich,” Harper says. “I told her I’d like to make a documentary to share her story and help her. She agreed, and that was my entry into an entirely new world.”
Following Louise most days for weeks, Harper documented her life on the streets, her drug addiction and sex work, all while learning how to shoot and interview. “She told me that no one had motivated her or really cared about her life,” she says. “She was interested in art and history, so we went to galleries together and I even took her to an afternoon tea – all things she’d never done before. We spent a lot of time together because I had the time to spare.”
The more Harper got to know Louise, the more concerned she became about her life and especially her living situation. “She was basically sleeping in an electrical cupboard on the streets of Ipswich,” she says. “I started booking her into bed and breakfasts to keep her off the streets. It really showed me how lucky I had been. It’s changed my thinking ever since.”
Once she had enough footage, Harper put together a taster of the film and contacted the local BBC News office in Norwich. The idea of an older Ipswich resident befriending a young sex worker and producing a film was so unusual that Harper was invited to a meeting and commissioned to shoot a half-hour special for BBC East, which aired in February 2008. “I couldn’t believe that Louise’s story would be out there,” she says. “I hadn’t told too many people about it so my friends were shocked when it came out. Once it did, I also managed to battle with the council to finally get Louise a proper flat.”
Sixteen years later, Harper, 76, is fully immersed in film-making. After her experience with Louise, she became interested in the world of drug addiction and produced a film for Sky, which was narrated by Davina McCall and followed two mothers coping with the impact of their sons’ drug abuse. She has also completed a commercial film for the seaside town of Southwold and a charity short for an emergency response service. She is now working on a series about women in horticulture as well as a film about the life of female fighter pilots.
“I just can’t stop,” she says. “It really feels like I’ve found my calling. I get ideas all the time, although I can’t make all of them because I fund my own projects and it’s hard to come by funding for older people.”
But age does have some advantages. “I think people are more inclined to be polite around me because I’m older,” she says. “I’ve also gained newfound confidence through this work. I didn’t know whether I’d achieve anything but I just kept going. I weaved around the obstacles in my way.”
As well as changing her life, Harper has recently learned how her films have had a profound impact on other people too. “Louise contacted me last year and we just carried on talking as if no time had passed,” she says. “She told me: ‘You were the only person who believed in me.’ It made that decision to pick up the camera completely worth it.”

I plead with you, on my hands and knees, for some Selkie!Soap x Human!Ghost where Ghost meets Soap's father-
Oh hell yeah! In this au, Ghost is a changeling, I hope its okay that I kept with that
Soap was frantic, going back and forth between pacing and rambling. It was only their second day of leave and his dad asked Soap to bring his new boyfriend.
Ghost didn't want to tell him to calm down since he had Soap's coat on so instead, he just stopped him with his hands.
"Johnny, it's going to be okay."
"You're about to meet my family!"
"I've been talking to your mom for weeks." Ghost reminded him gently. "You're going to be okay."
"My sisters will be there! Both of them!" Soap said softly. "What if they don't like you? What if you don't like them?"
Ghost laughed. "Usually that's my line." He moved closer and held his hands. "You like me and I like you. That's all that matters."
Soap nodded. "My dad is..."
"I know. I know." Ghost sighed. "We'll get through it. It's just two days and after this, we can go back to our cabin."
Soap leaned into his shoulder. "I don't understand why he wants to meet you."
Simon softened and squeezed him. "It's okay, love. Promise." They were rather close to each other.
"You called me love."
"It's a good nickname for you." Simon tried not to blush, aware that he didn't have his mask.
Soap leaned forward and kissed him softly. "Mo fhíorghrá." He pushed Simon's hair back and trailed his fingers through it.
"What does that mean?"
"A devious insult. You probably don't want to know."
"You're a fucking bastard. Go finish getting packed. I'm going to ask Price to extend our leave when we're done."
"Thank God. I want to spend more time here."
Ghost grinned. "With me?"
"Nah. Wish you'd stay outside, you bawbag." Johnny teased back before pulling away to get dressed.
Ghost grabbed his things and waited for him.
The journey there was luckily quick and then they were on Soap's parents doorsteps.
Soap had managed to chew all of his fingers to the quick in anxiety.
The man that opened the door was... well, he looked almost exactly like Soap. His hair was longer though, cut in a more... traditionally male cut to Soap's mohawk. His eyes were green and he was clearly a bit older.
"Hello, sir." Ghost straightened up, glad he had his mask on. The man set him on edge and he couldn't decide if it was what Soap told him or just... the vibe around him.
Soap smiled. "Hey, dad!"
"Fergus MacTavish. So you're my sons..."
"Husband." Ghost saw his eyes go to the coat.
"I see. Come in. Your mom is in the kitchen, Johnny." Fergus made a dismissive motion and Ghost watched him shrink down just a bit before slinking off to the kitchen.
Ghost sat across from Fergus and immediately noticed someone walking right behind him.
Davina, Ghost could tell because her hair was dyed a bright purple, smiled at him. "Are you Ghost? Johnny's talked about about you before!" She was the other selkie.
"Oh? He's talked about me?" He could feel Fergus staring at him.
"Yep. Said you're a giant hardass who works him too hard." She smiled and winked. Ghost huffed.
"He's right. I'm his Lieutenant. Someone has to keep him in line."
Davina laughed. "Cup of coffee?"
"I'd kill for a tea."
Davina laughed harder. "Wow, you actually are that british. I'll see what I can rustle up. Mom keeps some usually." She left him in the room with Fergus again.
The man was still staring at him.
Simon thought about when he came home from the army for the first time. The way his mom's sleeve had lifted up just a little and he had seen his dad's handprints on her. He had dragged him outside and beat him in the street like he was a dog.
This man hadn't done anything in his sight, but already, he felt the same anger he had felt that day bubbling up. His mom had tried to pressure him into seeing his dad in his final days and he hadn't because he was sure he would take him out of the bed and finish the job. The anger was something he knew well. He dealt with it occasionally on missions.
"So Simon." Ghost grit his teeth. "How long have you had his coat?"
"A week now. Not too long. Still getting... used to it." Ghost measured his words carefully.
"I see. Treating my son well?" Fergus tilted his head, looking genuine enough. "Selkies are a bit fragile. Emotionally. I'm sure you've noticed how sad they can get."
No. Ghost hadn't. "In their eyes right? Always so sad."
"Exactly. It's best to keep them busy. So when can I be expecting him to leave the military?"
"What?"
"You're not going to let him reenlist are you? Shouldn't you keep him at home?"
Ghost stared for a minute, more than a little taken back. He was expecting cruelty like he experienced as a child. Beatings or being told you were useless. Not this. It caught him off guard.
"I want to keep him in the military. Keep him close to me."
"Makes sense. Easy access huh?" His tone was light. Normal. Like they were talking about the weather.
"I like spending time with him." Ghost answered honestly.
"If you tell him to shut up, they can't speak until you give them permission to. Comes in handy. Especially with my kids." He laughed and had sorta leaned in. Trading secrets. "You really can make them do whatever you want. As long as they can physically do it, they will. They have these instincts too. This drive to be the best for their person. Best partner. Best friend. Anything they can. Eventually, you barely have to order them."
Ghost felt bile in the back of his throat. "That simple huh?"
"Yep. Snap your fingers and he'll jump." He snapped his fingers. "Just make sure they stay busy. Can't let them find the coats, ya know?"
Ghost held Soap's coat a little closer around himself. "Right..."
Davina came back with a cup of tea for him and cup of coffee for her dad. She perched on the window seat, right behind Fergus. She glared into Ghost, her calm demeanor disappearing.
Slowly, she mouthed at him. "Watch yourself."
Oh thank god. She was cool.
He didn't pay much attention anymore, just staring blankly ahead as Davina and Fergus talked. Already, he was starting to regret this.
Soap sat next to him, almost but not quite touching him which he was thankful for. Ghost picked up that Fergus didn't talk to him with the others around. He tried not to think too much about that.
Soap's mom was lovely. She smiled at him and commented that it was nice to have someone else that doesn't drink coffee.
"I hope vanilla is okay? I don't really keep Earl Gray in stock..." She was a tiny lady, but her hair was incredibly dark for her age. It curled around her and was clearly something she took care of.
Ghost quickly shook his head. "No, vanilla is fine."
"It's his favorite but he won't admit that." Soap laughed and Ghost instinctively pulled him just a little closer. Fergus gave him a sharp look but Ghost interrupted before anyone got the chance to say anything.
"Maybe." Ghost smiled.
"Oh! Do you want to see some baby photos?" Moray, Soap's mom, said excitedly. "I never get to show his partners these!" She grabbed a book and his sister quickly crowded on Ghost's other's side. He tried not to fidget too much at all the contact.
"Mom..." Soap whined but he let her.
Moray put the book on the table. "A little hard to explain that he was born with white hair." She showed him the baby photo of tiny Soap. His eyes were almost black, like an actual seals and his hair was a pure white color like snow. As the photos changed to his toddler years, he looked perfectly human but they were now intermingled with pictures of a tiny seal pup.
''You were so small." Ghost hummed. "So you guys actually turn completely into a seal?"
"Completely." Soap smiled. "It's pretty fun. I'd have to have my coat back though."
"Never going to happen then." Ghost replied like he was told. He saw Moray flinch but one glance between them and she immediately relaxed.
As hard as he tried, Ghost couldn't imagine being this vulnerable and also this trusting. He could be puppeting Soap to act like this around his family and none of them would know.
What a disconcerting thought. He glanced at Soap.
Ghost hadn't noticed it earlier, but around his family, he could see it. This faint sadness. It was more prominent in their mom. Davina had it, though only when looking at her family.
He couldn't handle this. He needed air.
"Excuse me." Ghost pulled away and went outside, hugging the coat closer. He couldn't feel the cold, but he knew outing himself as not human wouldn't be smart. The snow piled up but he just stepped out.
Fucking hell.
He missed his mom.
Ghost jerked up, straightening his posture. Where the fuck did that come from?
He thought about her. She'd love Soap. Of course, she would though.
Mary Riley was a good woman.
What would she do?
She'd help. Somehow.
Ghost should help too.
Simon let out a breath. "Alright. I'm going to find this woman's coat if it fucking kills me."

48 - Not The Only Broken One

Part 49
Family is More than Blood
@secretdreamlandmentality
Raelyn’s Pov
Entering the apartment building that Cami lived in I found her apartment opening the door until I smacked into a barrier spell. “The hell?” Placing a hand on my forehead.
“Sony Rae, I got a new landlord when my last one left the city.” Cami came around the corner.
I raised a brow. “Who's your landlord now?”
“Me. Hi Raelyn.” Davina came to stand beside her. “Come in.”
I nodded, stepping over the threshold of her apartment doorway. Moving into the living room with the two other woman I came into contact with Freya who I wasn't expecting to see. “What are you doing here?”
“Cami isn't a witch. So she felt we needed to come and offer our assistance.” She answered me.
Crossing my arms over my chest. “Assistance of convincing me to not give up my magic right?”
“Raelyn..” Cami trailed off.
Holding a hand up I didn't want to hear anymore of this nonsense. “No, I'm done hearing about this. My magic has brought me nothing but heartache these past few weeks and I can't take it anymore.”
“Will you just hear us out first. Without you and your heretic power I would be dead.” Cami responded.
Freya sat her drink glass down on the table beside the couch. “Hayley told me what you did for her to become a hybrid. And what you did for her entire pack.”
“When we met you showed me you didn't have to be a monster just because you had so much power at your fingertips.” Davina gave me a smile. “Why would you want to destroy a part of yourself that has created so much good?”

“Yes, Raelyn. I'd like to know your response too.” The four of us all turned our heads around seeing my husband standing outside the doorway.
I sent him a glare. “What are you doing here, Klaus!”
“Following your trail since you haven't been yourself lately. Now where in the bloody hell is the hunting knife containing your magic?” He spat back to me.
Freya rose from her chair creating it out of thin air. “Cami gave it to me for safe keeping for your information brother.”
“See, it's fine. Now you can go back and watch our youngest kids.” I snapped at the hybrid male.
Klaus huffed. “Rae, I won't entertain this tone from you for much longer. You need to realize that my intentions are only trying to help you.”
“I don’t recall asking for you to come here. In fact you are supposed to be at the school since the first headmistress isn’t there. They need a headmaster there if something goes wrong. So head back to Mystic Falls please.” I sent him a glare not wanting him to be here. His paranoid mind never bothered me until this moment. He normally had good reasons to be paranoid sometimes except right now.
The hybrid steps forward smacking into the barrier, hands gripping the doorway. “Camille invite me inside right now!”
“I don’t have to follow your commands, Klaus. Raelyn is my sire.” Cami snapped at the Mikaelson hybrid.
Freya raised her hand waving it in the air. “Okay, I think we should take this conversation somewhere else. Before we all end up fighting and things get violent like most Mikaelson conversations tend to happen.”
“Raelyn, just talk to me for a minute.” Klaus shifts his blue orbs onto my gaze in a begging tone.
I briefly paused before answering him. “Fine, let’s go.” He stepped away from the doorway and I moved forward stepping over the threshold vamping down the hallway. Klaus vamped after me leaving the others not to be able to hear our conversation.
Klaus and I were strolling the streets of Chicago since he had decided that this would be the first place he would take me to. He was holding my hand in his and he could hear my heart calmy beating in my chest since this was before I had turned into a vampire. “So tell me again why you decided Chicago first over New Orleans?”
“New Orleans is my favorite city, you are right on that. But I once found this city more beautiful before I ever discovered it.” He responded to me, squeezing my hand in his.
I made a face at the hybrid. “Okay so what do you want to show me?”
“There’s some great things about this city. But I want to spoil you. That is my goal for this trip.” He sent me that signature smile of his so brightly.
Shaking my head the hybrid i still wasn’t used to his romantic gestures towards me. It wasn’t as if I had the option of calling up my mother or father for dating advice since then that would only stir up trouble, finding me. Especially Uncle Joshua. Klaus walked closely beside me while I was window shopping the stores we walked past. “You’ve been staring at that dress for the last five minutes. So we’re getting it.”
“Klaus, no. Just because I look at it for long doesn’t mean I’ll like it.” Whipping my head around I stopped him before he started to go inside the store. The dress that we had been referring to was a dark green with short sleeves and a slit on the right side. The length only reached to the manachens knees.
Klaus didn’t bother and held open the door for me so I went inside to the dress with a woman who worked there coming over. “Can I help you, ma’am?”
“Yes. Uh do you have this dress in a six?” I asked her softly.
She replied. “Yes we do.”
“We’ll take it.” Klaus fired out an answer before I could get a response from my own mouth. The woman walked away when he gave her his card leaving us alone briefly. Crossing my arms over my chest I sent him a half glare. “Don’t give me that look, Rae. I already have ordered some lunch from that chicken place you like too.”
I sniped back at my boyfriend. “You went through my food delivery receipts. What’s next buying me 50 pairs or new shoes?”
“If that’s what you wish then yes.” He shrugged his shoulders not fazed by how creepy that might come off as to outsiders.
Placing my hands over my face I throw my head back failing to hold in my laughter. “Nik, how am I ever going to handle being with you?”
“You’ll learn to love me in time, siphon queen.” He snags me forward, grabbing the belt loops of my jeans and tugging me against his chest, smiling.
Draping my arms over his shoulders I booped my nose with his leaning up on my toes. “If you’ll lucky you just might get me forever.”
“I’d do anything to have always and forever with you, Raelyn.” He brought my lips up to meet his in a gentle and slow kiss until the woman with my dress came back and we headed to pick up his lunch order.
Standing out on the balcony of the old Mikaelson compound that allowed anyone to look out over the city of New Orleans. My hands rested on the metal railing knowing Elijah would leave us alone since he was the only member who still lived here full time. “You know the point of you agreeing to talk to me implies that you would say something.”
“Yes I agreed to speak with you. But that didn’t mean I would begin the conversation since you will just cut me off and tell me the same thing you’ve repeatedly told me about how I should take my magic back.” I throw my head back feeling his eyes burning in the back of my head.
He was leaning in the doorway arms beginning his back simply just watching me in the bright glow of the sunlight and how the wind threw my hair around yet even when it was a knotted ess cause of it he would see nothing but beauty from me. “I am only speaking the truth, love. You shouldn’t have to hide the other part of yourself like I was forced to by my mother a thousand years ago.”
“You still don’t understand it. I choose to give up my magic whereas your mother forced the Hybrid Curse upon you.” Stomping up to my husband I got up in his face. “My brother hates me now because I refuse to use dark magic to let him and Hayley have more babies.”
Klaus natches the knife hanging off the belt loop of my jeans. “Jacob, can’t truly hate you. I don’t think that mate has a hateful bone in his body. Now please I am begging you take it back. Not to please me, not for Jacob or Hayley, but for yourself because I know you.”
“Nik, I am not ready. The Hollow got inside my mind and made me see a version of myself that I didn’t even know existed inside of my brain.”
“Fructose Ispiritus. Say it Raelyn!” He raised his tone at me.
The veins and fangs began appearing where I shoved him against the wall with vamp speed baring my teeth. “I said no, Niklaus! And you want to know why look into my mind and see.”
“Raelyn..” He trails off.
I shout back at him. “Do it!”
Once the brightness disappeared I opened my eyes all the way to see a mirror image of myself. The figure of me had my hair loose but the ends were dead in black. The rest of my clothing was almost all black too. “The Hollow isn't fully gone. Her power and soul is now inside you.”
“You’re me…what do you want?” I blinked my eyes a couple of times feeling my mind was betraying me.
The dark version of me smirked. “I want you to stop hiding behind this weaker version of yourself. You’ve proven that you are stronger than anyone thought you’d be. Stop hiding who you truly are."
“That’s what this is truly about. You want me to be a bad person after I’ve told my kids to not appear as monsters.” I bite my tongue at the thought.
Dark Raelyn flipped her hair at me. “Just consider how much more Klaus would love you if you let him see the darker parts of you.”
My husband gasped, holding my face in his hands just scanning over my features. For once in his life Klaus Mikaelson was at a loss for words. He knew he was broken by some degree, yet it baffled the thousand year immortal to see a much darker side of the women he loved. Raelyn has darkness; he knew that when she flipped her humanity switch. Except this other vision of her was the witch side of her that he hadn’t come into contact with. “Rae…I…I’m sorry I didn’t know.”
“She’s why I refuse to take my siphon magic back.” I croaked through heavy tears that cascaded down my face, nails clutching onto his forearms for dear life. “I…I thought I wasn’t broken anymore. Nik, what….what do I do!”
Klaus tilted his head, wiping away the tears that he could. He buried my head into his chest and wrapped his arms around my shaking form.  “Rae Rae, you have nothing to fear as long as I am here. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again that you are not broken  Alina - this better be life or death because your mother needs my support at this moment.”
“Sorry, dad. The problem is that Landon somehow got sent and trapped in a prison world.” Our second oldest werewitch daughter explained through his cell phone once answering her.
Lifting my head up slightly from his black henley shirt my husband growled. “Bloody hell.”
“Alina, what else is going on?” I questioned her through some sniffles
“Hope is determined to get him back and now she’s looking for the Ascendent. I’d suggest you guys get here before she nearly burns the school down to rescue him.”
Separating from my husband I take the phone from his hand. “We’ll be on our way in a few. If things start to go sideways I give you permission to use your powers by any means necessary.” Hanging up the phone I scooped Josette’s hunting knife off the ground, sliding it back down into the pocket of my jeans. Klaus moved towards the doorway clasping my hand in his heading back home.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

Unwanted Years
Part 13: Your Kind of Love
Warnings: Toxic relationship, nightmares, abortion/miscarriage
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rebekah tapped her index finger against the steering wheel. Veera slept next to her in the passenger seat. Her eyelashes fluttered as she dreamed. She saw only one face. Elijah. Dancing with her, slowly swaying her in his arms. An old grammar phone playing old blues records in the corner of the room. The music filling the room with their love. The moment captured so perfectly in her dream.
But the room grew cold, dark. It crumbled around her, shattering. Then all that was left was Klaus. Kissing her gently, crying over her body.
She woke with a start. Flying at the dashboard.
"Good morning Veera." Rebekah said keeping her eyes on the empty road aheadm
"Huh... what?- um yeah!" Veera rubbed at her eyes. She realised a long strand of drool was stringing from her lips. She wiped it with the back of her hand.
"What or who do you want for breakfast?" Rebekah smirked.
"I um" Veera stuttered peering around to look out the windows or the car.
"Don't worry, I'm taking you to a witch. She will help with the scar my mother has left on your mind." Rebekah stayed staring at the road. The car started to incline up a hill. "She agreed to meet us up in the mountains so that we could be sure no one had followed us." Rebekah twisted the car up a winding path and parked. "You will like her. She understands all too well her self the damage a Mikaelson boy can do." Rebekah put the car in park and got out.
Veera followed. They walked for what seemed like hours, up a winding path, leading them further and further up.
Eventually they reached the top. There was a teenage girl sat on her own. Surely this wasn't who they had come to see.
"DAVINA!" Rebekah shouted and the girl turned. She ran to Rebekah hugging her tightly.
***
The sun was starting to set. They had been up the mountain for hours. Davina had been mixing herbs and reading grimoires and they had got nowhere.
Davina looked up.
"I'm so sorry." She said with tears in her eyes. "The only way we can save you is to kill your baby. Esther is a very powerful witch, she knew how to lock in the spell so it could not be undone." The sympathy on Davina's face felt like a punch in the gut. Veera knew that this girl would do what she could, and that if she said she couldn't that meant no one could.
"I need to speak to Elijah." Veera sighed looking at the grass beneath her feet. Clover grew there wild flowers sprouting up beneath her. New life.
"No need." She felt a booming voice behind her. She span around to face the source.
Niklaus stood there. For the first time Veera can remember he was crying. She was puzzled at how a man who was so harsh could care so much about her.
"Why are you hear Nik?" She growled angrily at him through her tears.
Klaus kneeled down in front of her. "Because I am your husband. Even Elijah knows that deep down. What's yours is mine. Although that child might be my brother's, you are still my wife and I will stop at nothing to protect you from the harm that my family cause you." He stood up. "Do the spell Davina, or you will never see your beloved Kol again." Klaus commanded. Veera sobbed. Klaus stooped down and picked her up. Holding her close to him. She punched at him but he continued holding her. Davina chanted and burned herbs around Veera. She felt blood trickle down her legs. She cried in pain. She closed her eyes. She pictured Elijah, how soft he was with her, how much he loved her. It kept her sane throughout the pain.
When it was done she looked into Klaus's blue eyes. Their faces millimeters from eachother. "I've dissapointed him." She said, her face was puffy from crying.
"You do not care how you have disappointed me?" He asked, hurt painted across his face.
"Maybe I am just not built for your kind of love." She passed out. Went limp in his arms. He passed her to Rebekah who bathed her in a small pool. Klaus left, he had never felt pain like this, he needed to feel numb.

Any Last Words?
Tumblr media
"Why are you doing this?" Freya asked her younger niece, feeling drained without her magic thanks to the bracelet.
"Because I've decided to make sure justice is served here, and that you don't have the power to hurt people ever again. Think of it as the Karma Delivery Service. For a thousand years you've committed atrocities, all in the name of always in forever; yet the two people who never entered the original promise understand it best." Jupiter explained nonchalantly.
"Did you have fun in that Chambre De Chasse? It was Mars' idea of course, wicked, evil genius, I wonder where she got that from?" Kai spoke rhetorically.
"You know what Mikael has to done to our family, to me... how could my daughter do this to me!" Klaus roared, the force of seeing not only Mikael and Esther but his biological father, made him feel powerless, and he hated it.
"I'm not your daughter anymore! Did Freya ever tell you what she did to me?! The Hollow, you remember her right? Of course, you do because she went after your precious Hope. Freya made my body strong enough and sent her inside of me! I've had to live with a vengeful spirit in me for almost 17 years! Do you know how terrified I was when I found out I was pregnant when I found out I had two mates? I thought she would kill them, but I was wrong, she and I have come to an agreement; I help her get her true vessel, and she will live with me in peace until then. Now it's time. But, I'm not the only one who wants to have words with you." Jupiter snarled, one of her eyes turning blue startling her older twin sister.
"I did what I had to do to protect my family," Freya spoke with no remorse in her voice. Everyone has to hold Kol, Finn, and Abby back as they lunged at the witch.
"It's okay, let her speak what she feels, she soon won't have the ability to," Jupiter said and lit a match.
Walking away from the Mikaelsons who could still see her she made a ring of black sand and placed a silent spell over the Hand of Glory so the flame wouldn't burn out until Jupiter decided it could.
"Incendia," Jupiter whispered, and the candle lights, a purple flame emits from the top.
"Hello Star, I was wondering when you would summon me." A younger male voice teased. The Mikaelsons looked in shock and slight horror as they saw their youngest brother within the circle. Henrik looked as though he hadn't aged a day since that awful event a thousand years ago. Kol and Finn looked at their brother with a smile on their face.
"Hi, Uncle Henrik," Jupiter said with a small smile on her face. Henrik gave his younger niece a small smile as well.
"It's not possible," Klaus whispered in denial. Henrik chuckled with dark amusement, a look on his young face that would normally never grace the face of a preteen.
Henrik's face was full of pure rage.
"Oh, it's very possible Nik. Magic makes many impossible things, possible. I'm disappointed in you Nik. Wait, let me change my statement to something of the modern times. I'm extremely pissed at all of you. How could you treat a child that way? Let alone your own child. Those who raised Star did an excellent job but you all on the other hand are morons. The fate you are going to be given is kinder than what I would do if I were still alive. Having spoken my peace, I give my full permission and consent for you to channel me for this spell." Henrik ranted and then looked at his favorite niece who nodded with an appreciative look on her face.
Looking at two of his older brothers with their respective wives he gave them a cheesy grin (something he was known for back when they were human). "Thank you for keeping those two, especially Kol, in line," Henrik spoke to Melissa and Davina who both snorted in amusement at the offended looks on their husband's faces, although you could see the hidden amusement and joy in their eyes.
Looking at Henrik one last time who mouthed 'Mystic Falls' to Jupiter; she blew the candle on the Hand of Glory out, leaving half of the wax remaining.
"Ready?" Abby asked her youngest daughter softly who nodded without hesitation.
Abby and Kai walked over to Freya; Kai placing an iron grip on Freya. Abby's hands were near the magic stopping bracelet.
"Freya Mikaelson, for the crimes you have committed against the Ford family and your fellow witches, for the betrayal of nature, of your kith, of your kin, we cast you out," Abby spoke sternly as if her voice was a gavel.
"You can't do this!" Freya protested.
Ignoring her, Melissa finishes her older sister's statement, "The Old Religion and the Other Side reject you."
"Quod pythonissam est in statera prodiderat naturae, oro praeteritum praesens et futurum esse naturae in servis eius, et tolle tibi spolia eius magicae." Jupiter chanted and gave Abby a pointed look and she immediately took the bracelet off.
Kai's hand glowed red as he siphoned all of Freya's magic, the witch screaming in pain. While unlike a normal case where siphoning too much would kill Freya, they were stripping her of her magic so Freya would be 100% human.
The man sighed the feeling of Mikaelson magic coursing through his veins fueling him like never before.
Abby and Kai let go of Freya who immediately tried to do magic but found that she couldn't.
They had taken her magic. Permanently.
"How could you." Freya sobbed, for the first time feeling empty. She had lost her purpose.
"Because it was high time you had your ego knocked down a few pegs, sister." Kol spat the word sister like it was poison.
"Don't forget Uncle Kol, the fun hasn't even started yet," Jupiter smirked, looking like a predator about to attack its prey.

“Slightly tipsy.” Davina answered with a flirty smile. “Happily tipsy.” She added with a dreamily sigh, not letting go of Elliot hands and holding one up so she could twirl on her place, noticing how stiff her husband was and how he was letting her guide his arms but he obviously wasn’t joining to her request. “There’s always some things to do, Elliot.” Davina rolled her eyes, letting go of the man’s hands and instead, holding on to his waist so she could spin around him, swaying her hips with each step. “What could be more important than dancing with your wife, hmm?” She asked. “We haven’t done it since... our wedding?” The brunette asked although she knew the last time had been just a few months away on some friends' wedding. "Open another bottle bur pour yourselfa glass, catch up with me and we can drunk dance." Davina prompted, standing on her tiptoes to kiss Elliot's cheek. "And it's not a suggestion." She added with a wink, spinning around on her feet as she swayed her hips and waved her arms in the air.

Baldur's Bounties: Star Cheeks
Oh Weichei's freckles... Always a hot topic huh. I give him a kiss on da cheeks, mwah❣️
Bioluminescence was common down in the Underdark, be it in the fauna or the people. Weichei supposed it wasn’t common around Faerûn, or it was, but they didn’t look in the right places. His bioluminescence was shown through his freckles, but it was hardly noticeable in the day and even in the night. At least, until he starts to laugh or was experiencing an emotion that gets his cheeks hot. They seemed to glow brighter when it happens, and Temerity had loved to pepper them in kisses, because “gods you’re too fucking cute,” he’d say between kisses.
He’s not sure what had him laughing so hard, but his cheeks hurt and he’s heavily leaning against the log. His freckles were bright, apparent as the stars against the night sky. There was a sound of awe as his laughter died down. Karlach was close now, eyes sparkling as she carefully ran a finger across his cheek.
“Woah… So that’s why that bloke calls ya starcheeks!” she exclaimed.
Huffing the last of his laugh, he said, “Einar never lies. Should hear what he called the others.”
“I’d say though,” Dame Aylin piped, “Has the Moon Mother blessed you? Has she cried tears of joy upon your face when you were born?”
If he had a nickel for every time someone asked if he was star-blessed in a way, he’d have two nickels.
Syretia Davina, a star elf-genasi, had queried if he was a child of Helian and Cereus at some point. She had caressed his cheek after having a glass of wine (they were having an intellectual discussion of sorts that he couldn’t recall), their cheeks flushed and warm. It was a tentative romance his husbands had encouraged, but it ended in a mutual break.
“I would dare not make you wait for me, for the time in the stars is different from the time down here. I have cherished my time with you starlight, more than you know. I will still continue to love you, but alas, we cannot be.”
He remembered how he still cried despite it all, understanding and grieving. His freckles had dulled during those weeks, months? He had unexpectedly fallen hard for the star elf-genasi over the years. Her brilliant mind was what drew him in, having someone who can match his was absolutely exhilarating. Beau would easily point out how excitedly happy he was when he came home, Temerity sliding in to tease if he met someone special.
He and Syretia still talk from time to time, sometimes the latter visited. He has once been in space for the spelljamming academy, but ultimately decided it wasn’t for him. After dying frozen in a simulation and saving the school from an incoming flaming rochetto and getting somehow charmed by a mindflayer, he decided to call the end of that journey. Syretia had recommended him, but didn’t see her within those months. So, mirror talks and visitations from Syretia from time to time only.
Now, he does flush at the idea of a god tearing up in joy when he was born. He never really thought of himself as something special, just a little drow making cannons. His partners and friends had assured him he was, but he just didn’t want to get too big of an ego about it. Stay humbled, because he’s so sure he’d get bit in the ass for it. He just doesn’t think he was a big deal, that’s all. He pressed a palm against a cheek, trying to hide a bit.
“Nie, nothing like that,” he replied, typically dark purple skin brightening to some dark magenta. His freckles twinkled at such an implication. “Bioluminescence is common down in the Underdark, and from time to time, the races down there get it.” He’s seen partial star maps on some. “Be it like this in some form.” He held up his free hand, the back of it dotted with stars. “Or tattoos.” He’s seen beautiful pieces, he’s contemplating on getting one done.
Maybe this was why some of the companions started trying to get him to laugh, giggle. Astarion was getting a bit more silly and over the top, and it all was just so funny to him. His lips always broke into a smile, freckles glowing.
Maybe this was why Wyll started to wax poetry about being the night sky personified. His cheeks burned and his freckles did so brightly, already shyly hiding one way or another. Wyll was tickled with his squeaking, trying to coax him from hiding so he could pepper those cheeks in kisses.
Maybe this was why Gale had temporarily weaved a crown of stars to set upon his head. A declaration of adoration as the wizard kissed his knuckles, willing to serve under the prince of stars.

Can I request a one-shot where Elijah and reader has child and it is their first Christmas together.
Oh early Christmas stuff. Why the hell not cause it is hot as hell here in the southern states at the moment and I need some cheery fluff.
Pairing: Elijah Mikaelson x Salvatore!Reader
Warnings: Christmassy fluff, Damon being the best uncle, Stefan being a dick
It was a cold Christmas Eve morning as Y/N woke to a crying baby and got up as her husband groaned. Y/N grabbed her robe as Elijah watched her walked over to a crib.
"Shhh Eliza, papa is trying to sleep." Y/N cooed softly picking up the new born girl and sat in a rocking chair breastfeeding Eliza. Elijah got out of bed walking over getting Y/N's attention and she smiled up at him as he leaned down kissing her softly as Eliza was falling asleep while feeding.
"Goodmorning my dear wife."
"Goodmorning my beloved husband." Y/N said softly watching Elijah kneel by the chair reaching over gently unlatch Eliza from his wife's breast.
"I could have done that Eli."
"I am aware but you had been up with her most of the night so let me take care of you both." Elijah says kissing his daughter's head as she yawned in her sleep.
"My brothers should be arriving today. Caroline sent a text that Damon may have went over board with gifts." Y/N tells her husband watch him place the new born in her crib. Y/N was a distant relative of the Salvatore brothers and the only human relative alive and the brothers portrayed themselves as her older brothers and was protective.
When the Mikaelsons came to Mystic Falls Y/N fell for the Noble Original when she first saw him at the Mikaelson ball. Elijah also fell for her at first sight also not caring she was a Salvatore. At first Damon and Stefan didn't like it but Damon came around when she told them she was pregnant while Stefan kept his distance not trusting Mikaelson.
"Nice to know. But how are you feeling." Elijah asked gently helping his wife up as she had gave birth a week earlier after a rough pregnancy.
"Still a little sore but feeling better." Y/N tells Elijah as he took her to the bathroom and showered with her since it was the only time he was alone with her. Y/N mewled as Elijah kissed her deeply and pulled away cupping her cheek smiling softly. Y/N felt better after the shower as Elijah did most of the washing.
"Do you think Stefan will be nice this year?" Y/N asked Elijah as he slipped a Christmas sweater on his wife. Last Christmas Stefan had tried to dagger Y/N's husband making both Damon and Klaus stop him since then Y/N hadn't talked to the vampire since then.
"I believe so. Niklaus said the Caroline will keep him in line." Elijah says kissing her softly then they both headed down stairs.
"Auntie Y/N!" Hope said happily running up climbing on the couch to look at Eliza who was still sleeping. Elijah smiled softly watching the young girl with his wife then went to get his wife some food and tea.
"Morning angel." Y/N said softly as Hayley walked up smiling at the new mother watching her help Hope hold Eliza who was now awake smiling at her cousin.
"Goodmorning Y/N." Halyey said softly placing a kiss on Y/N's head. The female hybrid had been there for the human when Elijah couldn't be and had grown protective.
"Goodmorning Hayley."
"Still sore?" Hayley asked softly noticing the small flinch Y/N did when she moved a bit. Y/N nodded with a soft smile as Hayley sat next to her.
"Don't push yourself today okay?"
"I won't." Y/N tells Hayley as Elijah walked out with her breakfast. After breakfast Damon had came with Stefan, Caroline and Elena.
"Best uncle is here." Damon said with a grin holding bags of gifts as Elena and Caroline chuckled.
"Hello Damon." Y/N said with a smile as Damon came over smiling brightly reaching for Eliza. Y/N handed Eliza to her uncle and Damon cooed softly rocking the smiling baby.
"Spoiling the girls Damon?" Klaus teased seeing the bags full of gifts.
"Just taking my job as uncle seriously." Damon said with a grin.
Christmas morning was busy and as everyone was getting gifts out Y/N sat in a rocking chair feeding Eliza as Stefan stood by her.
"I'm sorry for how I've been acting." Stefan said softly as Y/N smiled up at him.
"I forgave a long ago." Y/N tells Stefan as he smiled a bit sitting in a chair next to her seeing his niece. Eliza smiled at Stefan and Y/N handed him the baby watching him freeze scared that he may drop the baby.
It was time to burn wishes and Hope cutely explained it to Damon who had the girl in his arms, Caroline stood next to Klaus with Stefan, Hayley with Rebekah and Freya. Kol writing his wish with Davina as Elijah stood hold his wife and daughter.
"It's nice having the family together." Elijah says softly leaning down kissing Eliza's head as the girl yawned. Everyone burned their wishes and enjoyed having everyone together. Elijah was glad that Eliza's first Christmas was prefect and his family was happy and warm as everyone moved to the den to watch Christmas movies. Everyone was happy and enjoyed one another.

Enzo St. John x Mikaelson! Reader
Part 4 of 4: ( Part One, Part Two, Part Three)
Words: 3859
Summary: The big day has finally arrived.  You couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect.
Notes: I can’t believe it’s been around 3ish years since I started this series. To anyone out there who is still reading, thank you! This is the final part in my Enzo and the Originals Series and I really hope you guys enjoyed. Thank you so much for reading! Warning: So much fluff ahead. Lovey dovey fluff, family fluff, just all kinds of fluff.
-
The New Orleans’ sound did not wake you up. It was the feeling of someone looming over you as you slept that crept deep into your slumbering mind and forced you awake. Your eyes fluttered open and you screamed. Caroline stood over you, hands on her hips and rage in her eyes.
“How are you still sleeping?” She shrieked yanking the covers off of you. You groaned and turned your head to look at the alarm clock. “The wedding is only seven hours away! We need to get ready!” Enzo rolled over, covering his ears with his pillow. Caroline grabbed your hand and Enzo’s arm and dragged you out of the bed.
“Caroline, I appreciate how much you’ve done to help, but-” Enzo started groggily. Caroline shoved a bag of hair product at him and pushed him out into the hall.
“Damon got here earlier, he’s waiting downstairs for you.”
“But-”
“No, buts, we are already way behind schedule.” Caroline huffed. Her planner-face calmed and she smiled at both of you, stepping to the side so you could look at each other. “Alright, you two. This is it.” The last time you would see each other before the ceremony. You just stared at Enzo, speechless. Neither of you could even begin to know what to say, so you just laughed nervously. Caroline slammed the door. “Okay, let’s do this.”
Bonnie, Rebekah, and Hayley all burst into the room. Hayley pushed play on the stereo and music blasted, mostly cheesy romance songs that Caroline had insisted upon. Bonnie popped a bottle of champagne and Rebekah toyed with your hair while Hayley and Caroline talked about their daughters.
“Hope is staying with her grandmother this morning. Mary is bringing her later.” Hayley explained.
“Ric’s staying with the girls. He sends his best.” Caroline announced. You nodded and smiled. Alaric was your friend, despite his complicated relationship with the rest of your family. Then again, most of your friends had a complicated relationship with your family. Caroline scowled. “Stefan has elected himself as the selfless martyr who will not be attending so he doesn’t ‘cause a scene’.” She rolled her eyes. You took her hand swinging it back and forth playfully.
“You deserve better.” You noted. Bonnie raised a glass.
“Amen to that.” She handed out the drinks and the morning passed by with many giggles and indecisive arguments over what color lipstick you should wear. When all was settled, you were cast into a frenzy of makeup and hair curlers until Caroline declared your look to be ‘just right’.
Meanwhile, downstairs, a reluctant vampire stood outside the gate, tempted to turn around and run as fast as he could in the opposite direction. Of course, the first person to greet him didn’t exactly put his mind at ease.
“Damon Salvatore…” Klaus chuckled darkly. “What a pleasure to see you again.”
“Niklaus.” Elijah called from inside. “Do stop frightening the best man.” The oldest living Mikaelson came out and stood by his brother. “Hello Damon.” Damon gave the pair a reluctant wave. The magic witchy Mikaelson- one that Damon didn’t even know existed until now- invited him in and the three lead him to the room where Enzo was getting ready. Damon death-glared him as Freya went upstairs and the brothers stood on either side of him, like minions of death.
“Please tell me you’ve got bourbon.” He grumbled, side-glancing the two originals, waiting for one to pounce. Enzo watched in irritation as Damon threw his stupid, trademarked leather jacket onto the chair. Kol glared from his spot on the sofa.
“I thought we’d already gone over the guest list.” He sneered. “I would’ve made sure that this-”
“Behave yourself Kol.” Elijah warned.
“It’s nice to know none of you have changed.” Damon snarked, snatching up the bottle of bourbon on the side-table. He poured himself a drink and downed it quickly. “And neither has your taste in liquor.” Enzo growled.
“You’re here for a reason, Damon.” He groaned. “You already missed the bachelor party, now please, do something helpful.”
“You missed one hell of a night, Damon.” Kol smirked, licking his lips.
“Yeah, I heard about those call girls going missing.” Damon noted. “I’m surprised at you, Elijah. I never took you for one of us miscreants.” Elijah kept up his stoic expression, his tone betraying his slight annoyance.
“I refrained from last night's activities.”
“He was absolutely no fun.” Klaus whined. “Lovesick fool. Hayley’s practically got him on a leash.” Kol and Klaus both snickered. Elijah shook his head, but couldn’t stop himself from smiling. He really was a lovesick fool, not that he was ashamed to admit it. And with Davina and Cami both gone, he didn’t reprimand his brothers for their partying.
“I believe that I was not the only so-called ‘buzzkill’ at the party.” He pointed out, his eyes on the groom. Damon’s jaw dropped.
“Enzo?” He fake-gasped. “Has our blood-thirsty party man finally turned into a hopeless romantic?” Enzo rolled his eyes and shrugged.
“Just because I’m not a brute, doesn’t mean I’m a hopeless romantic.” He smirked. “Undeniably in love, yes. But not hopeless.”
“I think I’m going to be sick.” Kol pretended to gag. “You remember you’re speaking of my twin? I know a couple secrets about her you would not find so romantic.”
“Kol.” Elijah scolded. “We wouldn’t want Lorenzo getting cold feet now would we?”
“Yes because then I would have to remove them.” Klaus threatened, casting a dark look to the groom. Enzo gulped and began to tie his tie over his pristine white shirt. Elijah had picked it out, which meant that it was the best money could buy.
You both looked perfect. After all, this was the biggest moment in all your centuries of living. The girls gathered around you and let out a collective sigh of awe. This was it.
The guests were beginning to arrive and you felt your heart pounding, wishing that you could be with him to calm your nerves. But of course, it’s bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony and with your shared history of weddings, you needed all the luck you could get.  And so you waited, tapping your foot at an alarming speed and trying to take deep breaths.
“Everything alright dear sister?” Kol wondered with a smirk, leaning against your doorway. Caroline, Rebekah, Bonnie and Hayley were all getting ready to be the perfect bridesmaids and Freya was preparing to officiate the wedding. She had been so excited when you asked her and you couldn’t think of anyone else you wanted to say the words ‘I now pronounce you husband and wife’.
“What could go wrong?” You looked at your twin and smiled nervously. Kol’s face suddenly darkened.
“Well I can think of something.” He growled. You turned to see who he was looking at and gasped. Kol stepped towards Marcel.  “I don’t recall sending your invitation.”
“I just came to tell Y/N congratulations.” He held up his hands a sign of peace. “I don’t want to cause any problems. Not today.” Kol continued to loom ferociously over Marcel until you stepped in between them.
“Kol, why don’t you go make sure that Klaus hasn’t killed any of the guests? I don’t want a single speck of blood on him when he and Elijah walk me down the aisle.” You were able to shoo him away before he could object, turning back to Marcel with fiery eyes. “Of all the days you decide to make amends…”
“I’m not asking for your forgiveness for not telling you I was alive all those years.” He started. “I’m asking you not to hate me. All I want is for things to go back to the way they were before everything happened. We were pretty close friends, you and me.”
Thick as thieves, more like it. While Marcel was like a son to your older brother and a lover to Rebekah, he was always one of your dearest friends. You were devastated when you believed your father had killed him. When you discovered he was really alive, you were both relieved and furious. All those years and never once had he reached out to find you. Seeing him stand before you now erased all of your anger.
“You say it like I’ve forgotten.” You cried, pulling him into a hug. “Thank you for coming, Marcel. You don’t know how much it means to me.” You pushed away with a small smile on your face and tears in your eyes.
“Hey,” He comforted, placing a hand on your cheek. “We can’t have you crying before the wedding.”
“Would you stay?” You pleaded. “Please, Marcel. It would make this day even more perfect.” He gave you a look.
“Can you promise none of your siblings are going to try to kill me?”
“You know I can’t.” You both laughed and he agreed to stay, sneaking down into the courtyard where the ceremony was taking place. With him gone, you were alone again and the unstoppable nerves returned. “Come on, Y/N. You have faced centuries of trials and vicious enemies. You’re just-”
“Pledging to spend the rest of eternity with someone with probably as much emotional baggage as yourself?” Klaus finished, stepping into the room. Elijah had managed to get him into a suit and he completed it with his famous mischievous grin.
“Shouldn’t you be downstairs with Elijah?” You put your hands on your hips.
“Oh come now, don’t be so cross. It is, after all, the happiest day of your life.” He replied smugly. “I simply wanted a word with you before the festivities begin.” He led you to sit on one of the sofas, taking your hand in his own.
“What’s this about, Nik?”
“I know that I have been… difficult these past centuries.” He smirked and you couldn’t help but laugh in agreement. “The truth is, Y/N, that I am completely afraid of losing your love to someone else. But I have seen the way you are with Enzo and I simply cannot bring myself to take it away from you. I may be a selfish bastard, but even I do not wish to see you unhappy. I wish you the most joyous life, Y/N.”
“Klaus,” You placed a kiss on your brother’s shoulder. “My love for you will never falter or diminish, no matter how much of a thorn in my side you are.” He gave you the loving smile that you often wished to see more of. Klaus was troubled and all you hoped for was that one day he would find the kind of happiness you had found with Enzo.
“You look stunning.” Elijah noted from the doorway. He held out his arm. “Shall we?” Klaus and you stood and the three of you walked down to where you would be entering. Caroline and Bonnie would be first, then Rebekah with Damon, and Kol insisted on announcing you like some kind of queen. You were pretty sure he just wanted to get a laugh out of the crowd before you walked down the aisle. Of course, it was just nice to have your twin want to take part.
You could feel yourself trembling as Caroline and Bonnie started walking. Rebekah and Damon were bickering even as they began down the aisle. You took shaky breaths and felt Elijah chuckle.
“Everything is going to be fine.” He assured you.
“You know, it’s never too late for me to kill him.” Klaus whispered and you elbowed his side. Kol gave you one final smirk before heading out to the front of the space.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” He greeted. “You are all here to celebrate the union between Enzo St. John and my beautiful sister, Y/N Mikaelson. Us being twins, I could share a great deal of stories about Y/N…” He looked back towards you and you glared at him. “But that will have to wait until the reception. Now, without further adieu,” He had an exceptionally smug smile on his face now and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at his final words. “Here comes the bride.”
Enzo finally was allowed to turn around as the music began to play. His heart leapt and his breath hitched. You were the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen. In fact, gorgeous wasn’t even the right word for it. Nothing could describe how you looked as you walked towards him.  As if his eyes alone had calmed you, you felt your nerves wash away and the brightest smile spread across your face as you took the first step down the aisle. The faces of your closest friends turned towards you and with each step, you felt emotions bubbling up inside. As you reached the end, Klaus gave you a wink before taking his place beside Damon, removing a stake for his pocket.
“Klaus!” You hissed. He gave you a mischievous grin.
“Couldn’t resist.” He said, Damon taking the stake from him.  Elijah lifted your veil and you felt a tear roll down your cheek. He smiled and wiped it away, placing a kiss on your forehead.
Freya beamed at you as she greeted the crowd and thanked them for coming to witness your union. Enzo couldn’t take his eyes off of you. The ceremony itself was simple and you and Enzo stared into each other’s eyes the entire time.
“May I have the rings?” Your oldest sister asked. Damon handed Enzo your ring and Rebekah handed you his. “The couple has prepared their own vows.” Freya nodded for you to begin and you took a deep breath, taking both of his hands in yours.
“The first day we met, you were trying to kill my best friend. However, just a few years previous so had I.” You laughed through the tears now freely falling down your face. “I thought that the only promise I would make was to my family. Our code of always being there for each other, and although it has been tested- multiple times-” You shot Klaus a look. “I want to extend that to you. I promise to love you and to protect you and cherish you. Always and forever.” You slid the ring onto his finger and laughed to yourself, wiping away the tears. You looked into his eyes to see that he was crying too.
“I didn’t know what it was like to be loved.” He began and for a moment you thought he’d blubber more than you had. He always was a romantic. But he composed himself as best he could. “Until I met you. You saw past all of the bloodshed in my past. All of my pain and anger. You had had your fair share of hurt over the years and you decided to take a broken soul and mend it. You saved me.” He took a deep breath, feeling a tear roll down his cheek. “And I plan to spend the rest of our lives trying to repay you for the love that you’ve shown me. Always and forever.” He put the ring on your finger and you both laughed at how emotional you both were. Freya smiled.
“What are you waiting for? Kiss her.” The crowd erupted in applause as Enzo dramatically pulled you into his arms and lowered you into a dip before kissing you for the first time as your husband.
-
The reception was held at Rousseau’s, which was heavily decorated with roses and lights to the point that it no longer looked like a bar, but something from a fairy tale. Again, the handy work of Caroline. Klaus watched Caroline from his seat at the head table as everyone waited for you and Enzo to arrive.
“Now that Lorenzo is officially family, I recommend you don’t give him the same treatment that you gave us for the past few centuries.” Elijah straightened his cufflinks with a smile, giving Klaus a side glance.
“Of course not, Elijah. The daggers don't work on him.” Klaus grinned mischievously. “Although, there’s always the crypt in the basement.”
“Don’t even think about it.” Rebecca chimed in. Elijah looked across the table to Hayley, feeling a deep desire to one day have this with her. To have the happiness that his sister was now experiencing. Hayley saw him and smiled, her eyes lighting up his soul, or whatever was left of it. Perhaps one day...
The doors opened and the newlyweds entered. You still couldn’t quite believe it. In all your years of living, you couldn’t think of a moment when you were half as happy as you were now. Enzo’s fingers were laced with yours as you walked towards the main table, seeing the smiles on your friends and family’s faces. The guests cheered as you took your seats. Dinner was quickly served and it wasn’t long before Rebecca stood, tapping her glass with her spoon to get the room’s attention.
“Ah yes, it is time for the dreaded speeches.” She announced with a smile. “Being the maid of honor, I am obligated to speak for my dear older sister. And since I have over a thousand years of stories, it was difficult to pick just one. I succeeded however, in finding a memory that I believe best describes my sister.
“She and Elijah were the only two to escape Klaus without being daggered and shoved into a box.” She gave Klaus a brief glare before continuing. “In the late 1800’s, when I awoke, many things had changed. People I loved turned their back on me.” Her eyes came across Marcel, but didn’t linger for long. “Elijah reintroduced me back into society, but it was Y/N who helped me nurse a broken heart. She made me believe in my own strength again. Y/N showed me the love that only an older sister could. I am beyond delighted that her heart has finally found its equal.” She looked at Enzo happily and feigned a scowl. “But know that should anything happen to her, you will not only have my brothers to worry about.”
“Duly noted.” Enzo nodded, his hand having never left yours. All eyes were now on the best man. Damon took a long drink from his glass and stood reluctantly.
“There isn’t a lot I can say about Enzo before him and Y/N met. When Enzo and I first knew each other we were prisoners. We were trapped together, tortured together, and experimented on.” You felt Enzo’s grip on your hand tighten at the memory. “When I got my chance to escape, I took it. I betrayed him. Decades later, he swore revenge on me and tried to kill my girlfriend.” Reading the confusion in the crowd, he smirked. “Don’t worry, this bromance has a happy ending.”
“Of sorts.” Enzo whispered to you and you both laughed quietly.
“My point is that Enzo hated my guts until Y/N got him to forgive me. I believe her words were ‘There are better ways to spend an eternity than seeking revenge. Especially against an old friend.’ Anyway, here I am and here they are, so I guess we all know the end of that story.” Damon glanced at you and despite his usual smirk, you could see the sincerity in his eyes. “Elena was always rooting for the two of you to end up together, so that meant I have to too.” The crowd chuckled at his last comment, but you stood up from your chair and pulled the snarky vampire into a hug.
“Thank you, Damon.” You whispered. “I miss her too.” You felt him return the embrace and smile sadly against your cheek.
“She would have loved this, you know. All the gushy romance and twinkling lights.” He said, fixing a hair that had fallen out of place and tucking it behind your ear. You nodded.
“You’ll have this with her someday, Damon. And when you do, I will be the one giving the speech.”
“Over my dead body, Mikaelson.” He snarked. “But I guess is Mikaelson St. John now. Jeez, that’s a mouthful.”
“Sit down, Salvatore.” You shook your head in amusement. As you went back to your seat beside your husband, you noticed a member of the wedding party’s chair was empty. A rush of panic shot through you. “Elijah, where’s Klaus?”
All of your siblings turned to the vacant seat and their eyes widened. Everyone started to split up to go find him before he could cause any trouble.
“I’ll go get Caroline, she went to the bathroom.” Bonnie said, taking off in the direction of the restrooms. You and Enzo decided to check the kitchen but were not at all prepared for what you would find. Sure enough, there was Klaus. And Caroline. On the counter. You quickly shut the door, trying to contain your laughter. You took Enzo’s hand and headed back to the table, grinning like an idiot.
“Well it’s about time.”
-
As the night slowly died down, Enzo clinked his glass to acquire the crowd’s attention. Everyone focused on him as he stood, shooting you a bright smile.
“May I have everyone’s attention? First and foremost I would like to thank each of you for coming out to celebrate this wondrous occasion. Some of you are from this beautiful city, and some came all the way from a small town called Mystic Falls.” He turned to Damon and smirked before returning his loving gaze to you. “But to end the night, I wanted to say a few words to my new wife, Y/N.”  You felt the blush rise to your cheeks and the warmth rush over you.
“A few months ago, I discovered who my family was. As it turns out, after a century of searching and hoping, they turned out to be a bunch of thieves and betrayers. No resemblance to me, I’m sure.” The room laughed. “I’ll admit that I was crushed. But now, the Mikaelsons have accepted me into their family, some more willing than others.” Klaus shrugged with a smirk, still flushed from his little rondevu earlier.
“I almost had you.” He teased. Enzo continued, holding his hand out for you, lifting you to stand beside him.
“None of this would have happened if it wasn’t for the brilliant, caring, incredibly sexy-” he winked and you giggled, “most wonderful girl that came into my life when I thought I had no reason left to live.” You laid a hand on his shoulder, feeling tears start to well up in your eyes as they started to in his. “She made me see that maybe there was a slight shred of hope in this eternity we were both stuck with. Y/N became my world. A world I would do anything to protect.” His hand slipped into yours. “Now we may have our disagreements, and I’m sure we have a long road of bickering and evading certain doom.” He held up his glass in one last toast for the night. “So here’s to one hell of a forever.”

Part One. Part Two. Part Three.
Tumblr media
His castle, really the Mikaelson home, was deserted apart from himself. Every day, the weight of his guilt daunted him. Too stubborn to straight away admit his foolishness, even to his wife, he sat in the lonely home of the Mikaelsons. It wasn’t like he didn’t wish he could reverse what he’d done, nor did he believe he wasn’t in the wrong. Klaus was just...Klaus.
On the other hand, Y/n was surrounded by the people she loved, minus her husband. Elijah and Rebekah were constantly checking on her and rarely did they speak of Klaus. The one time Davina tried to bring him up, all three older women stared her down and shook their heads urgently. It was like he was a forbidden topic, a man who’s name was no longer something allowed to be mentioned if you so much as valued your life.
However, it was quite the opposite with Y/n. Whilst she appreciated their caring company and loving gestures, she had no problem talking of her husband. In fact, she wanted to talk about him. Y/n desperately wanted to figure out the whole situation so she could be resting beside him in their shared bed every night again rather than the uncomfortable one provided by Marcel. She was grateful, but she yearned for the love of her life.
Each time she tried to talk about him, someone was quick to interject. Eventually she gave up, but when she hadn’t heard from him for a few months, she began to grow ill with worry. She couldn’t literally get ill as a member of the undead but it did affect her drastically. It wasn’t long before the others started to notice.
“Y/n, dear, are you alright?” Rebekah paused in place, concern lacing her knitted eyebrows as she set down the teacup she was about to pour the hot water in.
“Hm? Oh, yes, I suppose I’m fine.” Her lie wasn’t nearly as convincing as Klaus deemed Aurora’s to be, which was saying a lot.
Rebekah new better than to listen to her sister-in-law at this time. “What’s bothering you, love?”
But then, that was the problem. If Y/n were to tell anyone who was watching over her while she tried so hard to get back on her feet and recover from her fight with her husband that he was what was on her mind incessantly, they were surely to shut her down instantaneously. She hadn’t tried her luck in some time, over being interrupted again and again.
“It’s nothing...”
“No, no, no. Unless ‘nothing’ is making you look like utterly useless trash, no offense, then it is something.” She crossed her arms and leaned her hip into the counter with a sigh. “So, tell me what the ‘something’ is.”
Although Y/n doubted Rebekah would let her bring up Klaus, even for a second, she decided it was worth a try. “Well...if you really want to know-”
“I do.”
“Then,” she inhaled deeply, exhaling slowly as she prepared to voice the source of her troubled thoughts, “it’s about Nik.” Y/n waited, watching Rebekah intensely, waiting for her to interfere and change the topic. But she never did.
The Blond looked around for a second, then back to Y/n, “Are you going to continue or are you just going to leave me in the dark?”
“You’re...not going to stop me?”
“No. If he has you this distressed, we might as well solve the problem instead of letting you dwell in it.” Rebekah moved forward, pulling out a chair and sitting across from Y/n. “Now. Do continue.”
“Uh- Alright.” And so Y/n explained to her sister-in-law, as though she were her personal therapist, the distress she felt, the weight of their first large and unsolved fight a burden on her shoulders like Atlas and the world. In truth, she had taken up the role and become rather serious about it.
“Well, what do you think we ought to do about it?”
“I- We?”
“Did I stutter? Or did vampirism not amplify your hearing the way it should’ve?” Despite her sarcasm, she waited for an answer, but when one did not come, she chuckled a bit. “It’s the same as the last time. I have your back. We all have your back, so, if you’re going to do something about it, so am I.”
Tumblr media
Both Rebekah and Elijah were the first to enter the forgotten Mikaelson palace in the time since the king and queen parted ways. Klaus reigned terror more than before, threatening people because he felt like it, doing things to quell his anger even though he knew full well that the satisfaction it gave him was only temporary until he had his queen back. Klaus was just as broken as Y/n and it was only when he was in the darkest place of months without her, did he fully take in Hayley’s words and actually give an effort to see the truth.
It was true, Y/n was loyal to a fault, and yet, he believed the woman turned out to be just as evil as her brother and Lucien in plotting against the Originals. He was vengeful when he found it out, putting an end to their plan and their existences with the help of his family and some friends. That was the last time he’d seen them since then.
“Thank you, Elijah.” His voice quivered.
Elijah pulled at his cuffs slightly, then looked at his brother with dead emotion. “This is the last time I will be by your side until you realize your wrong doings and do the thing you know you must. Until then, brother.”
As Elijah walked past him, he bumped Klaus’ shoulder harshly. He couldn’t help but freeze, tears filling his eyes as his gaze remained glued to the ground.
Snapping out of the memory, Klaus wiped his tears away.
“Alas, he finally returns to reality.”
His head snapped around, eyes wide and still watery. “You came back-”
“But not for you.” Elijah was quick to put an end to any hope of his siblings trust Klaus had left. “Niklaus, do tell me, have you any remorse for what burdens you have placed upon your wife?”
“Oh...” Klaus realized the true meaning of his siblings’ arrival, the guilt swimming around his gut only intensifying.
“Oh indeed, Nik. She’s ready to forgive whenever you’re ready to apologize.”
“Are you here to help me?”
Rebekah laughed, “No, I’m afraid you’re the one who made the mess, so you’re the one who must clean the mess. We’re simply the messengers, dear brother.” She smiled with false sweetness, then turned and paced out of the room.
Elijah, once again left alone with his younger brother, uttered his wise words of advice before he too left for the second time. “I do wish you take Hayley’s words to mind, Niklaus. It would do not only you, but your wife some good.” By the door was where he stopped one final time. “Mind you, if you truly love her,” he paused, “you’d do what is right.”

Imagine: “Could I request a Daniel Gillies smut like they are both at the comic con(they are both in the originals) and he is teasing her while he answers a question ? Or makes fun with Joseph and he says some dirty things.” Requested by @elijahspersonalwifeyyy .
Pairing: Daniel Gillies x Reader
Warnings: Smut
Words:
Edited: Yes
A/N: I apologise @elijahspersonalwifeyyy for the incredibly long wait. I’ve had this lined up to post but with coursework and writing so much at the same time, it’s made it difficult but I refuse to quit. I’m not a quitter. I’m also not a person to announce a hiatus. Either way, hope you enjoyed ! There is a lot to read I know but we needed a build up and this is one of my favourite comic cons ever, I wanted to do the before hand scenes either way so. Don’t forget to check out my new story “On The Way” !
All of us at the current moment in time were stood backstage waiting to be called on. I couldn't tell you how irritated I was when I went on after Joseph and then Daniel followed. They were both irritating enough to me together anyway but they were in a particularly annoying mood today and I was not prepared for it.
“The man who will break your heart and then rip it out and then probably eat it. Joseph Morgan.”
The whole audience cheered as he walked on and he waved quite casually as he did.
“The women who brings all men to there knees but still can't find anything better to do than drink wine. Y/N Y/L/N”
I giggled as I walked out and I saw the audience screaming and Joseph giving me a mischievous look.
“The brother with a suit for every occasion. Daniel Gillies as Elijah.”
He walked out, threw me a quick smirk and blew a kiss to the audience as they screamed. He pulled his chair out and smiled at everyone.
“Nice jacket.”
“Yeah. Give it up for this jacket ! Huh ? Out of a suit and into a smoking hot jacket.”
“I know right, the one time he's not wearing a suit.”
“Thank you. It was actually a gift from Y/N.”
“Aw that’s super sweet Y/N.”
“Thank you. It was actually a gift for our anniversary.”
“Really ? How many years ?”
“Seven.”
“and very sweet.”
He called the rest of our costars out and we continued on with the panel.
After the host had started the panel with a question for Julie and Michael, it was now a group question for me, Joseph and Phoebe.
“Uh now going to the show, we've seen Klaus and Lily and Klaus and Hayley kind of trying the uh co-parenting thing and it did not really go so well as we all saw. How is Klaus going to be as a parent now that Hayley isn't around and Lily and Elijah have reconciled ?”
As soon as the question was asked, we all turned to Joseph.
“Uh you know, before he alienated his whole family by toasting Elijah's girlfriend, sleeping with his wife and and and cursing the women he thought he was in love with um Klaus survived under this sort of umbrella of Elijah's protection and forgiveness I suppose and so Elijah was always a voice of reason and Hayley was always there to battle it out with him. So, I would say badly. He's gonna do badly as a single parent you know and I think he knows he's kinda messing it up but he's trying. At least he's trying. You gotta give him that. Even if he's warping the minds of his two daughters, one before she's even uttered a syllable and the other before she get's old enough to realise that Klaus and Lily aren't actually together you know like she’s thought for years.”
“Geez. So uh how are are Lily, Elijah and Klaus going to tell her ? Who's going to be the one that does it or will they all do it together ?”
I decided to answer this questions, being more involved with the story line of my children.
“I think that Lily will have to be the one to tell her and whilst doing so will definitely have to be quite cautious when telling Sofia, you know not only because she's only 7 years old but also because she’s thought of Elijah as her Uncle her whole life- and although that hasn't changed it's still going to be difficult since this latest revelation is that, her Uncle Elijah that she adores oh so much is now also 'mommy's boyfriend' or in more formal terms her step-dad. So I think she's going to be confused and it might be quite difficult for her at first but I think she’s mature for her age and that she will understand quite quickly that, Mommy and Daddy aren't together and that despite realizing that her mom was married to her uncle I think she will quickly appreciate the fact we told her because of her understanding personality. “
Daniel quickly leaned forward and spoke before the host could ask another question.
“The moral of the story is, don't sleep with your husband's brother. Especially when not using protection and then deciding to get back together with your husband before trying to force him to sign the divorce papers.”
The whole room suddenly echoed with loud laughter and I couldn't stop giggling myself despite being offended for my character. I hit his arm playfully. He grinned at me and rested his hand on my leg as the room calmed down and he slouched back in his chair a little.
“Very true. So, I mean he can always just compel a few dozen nannies but he does have Elijah there to help him co-parent you know not just with Sofia but with Hope. I'm thinking like shared schedules, late night feedings...Whose doing what ?”
“It’s like we both wake up and the baby is crying and it's like, are you going to get her or am I ? Alright, I'll get her.”
“Yeah no it's gonna be me. I'm gonna do the graveyard shift, I know that all to well. But we gotta remember too, Lily and Freya are going to be doing a large share of the work.”
“Oh yeah, they can do it. There you go.”
I giggled and hit Joseph in the shoulder for the comment.
“Sexist.”
“No, come on. Lily's already been through this twice she knows’ what she's doing and Freya's Switzerland at this moment in time, I think for both of us to be in there...I’m gonna stop talking.”
We all chuckled at Daniel's comment.
                                               *
“Now we're going to go to audience questions in just a little bit but first I wanted to do something fun. I know it's not the holiday's and I know we don't have a big ass bonfire in front of us but I thought it would be quite fun if everybody kinda thinks about a wish for their character for the future, just throw it in the imaginary bonfire.”
“Well, I'm a human....so I just want to stay alive.”
“Good answer.”
“Oh I forgot you weren't a character.”
“I have wishes for everybody but I don't have a character.”
“I do wish for Julie that Supernatural Judge Judy becomes her next spin off and Exploding Ovaries is the title of Daniel Gillies' next memoir.
“A wish for Hayley would be that Hope can live a normal, happy existence. I think would be what she would want the most.”
“That’s very sweet.”
“Thank you. That's it, I'm done.”
“Uh, I think for Elijah...I mean other than wishing that his girlfriend's wouldn't be incinerated or his wife doesn't sleep with his brother again...”
I giggled at Daniel's comment, despite his comment towards my character and spoke with Joseph, simultaneously.
“Oh, come on.”
“I'm not letting that one go easily. So, uh...I would wish for him. Oh man. I wish for him, I’m actually wishing for something dark, like I sort of would wish for...a great division between the brothers before reconciliation.”
“So that's how it's going to be.”
“So, my wish for Lily is um...to finally find that bloody fertility spell that she's been looking for, for centuries. So that her and Elijah can have children of their own which they want more than anything and move somewhere outside of New Orleans in a nice family home, away from the drama.”
“That’s very sweet.”
“Uh, I wish everyone would just do what Klaus says because he's always right. He knows what he's doing. It's for the greater good. Come on. Get on board with his plans. Everything will be alright in the end. Not everyone will be alright in the end but everything will be alright in the end. Right ?”
“Um, I wish Marcel would cross over. No.”
“I wish for more of your cleavage.”
I couldn't help but laugh a little when he says comments like that. Even though it wasn't directed at me, I knew the double meaning behind it. Daniel has not taken his eyes away from my chest today. That's what breast feeding does to you, I suppose. When Daniel picked my outfit this morning, I was glad. I was going to wear some leather pants and a red blouse with some heels but he somehow convinced me to wear a dress. God was I glad, I actually listened to him. It was hot in San Diego summer heat and I underestimated a little when I decided on leather pants.
“Yeah. We gonna get some dollar bills. Let's see some ones. Tryna make some money out here. Somebody, put on some Usher. Slow jam. Uh yeah...”
I have a twenty. What can we get for a twenty ?”
“Break it up. Break it up.”
“Make it into ones and let's make it rain.”
“If I throw loose change at you, can I make it hail ?”
“Alright, moving on. Next subject.”
“Um, Davina is a witch and I think it would be really cool if she could fly. So, whether it's a broomstick or something else...I still think it would be really cool.”
“That’s a good one. Um, mines pretty selfish. I hate shaving, so I wish we could work something in so Vincent could have like a huge beard.”
“I changed my mind, I want superpowers as well. Three one foot long, retractable adamantine claws from each hand please.”
”Why is the camera on me ? I wanna fly. I wanna see these guys fly. I want them charging up walls and...we don’t have the budget for that. I wanna see more vampirey stuff. Why am I wishing again ? I exhausted my wish.”
“You guys can make as many wishes as you want. This is your made up tradition.”
“It’s raining wishes on you.”
“Raining for your wishes.”
“God this is embarrassing.”
“T it up.”
“T what up ?”
“What do your need for a rain of wishes ?”
“What happens when it rains ?”
“An umbrella.”
“What ?”
“An umbrella, sweetheart.”
He closed his eye in frustration and dropped his upper half into my lap, whilst we all laughed at his slow mind.
“Oh shit. Umbrella. So sorry, so sorry.”
“The rain, the umbrella...”
“Dropping hints. Awesome, alright well let’s turn it over to some audience questions.”
                                               *
“Hi, my name is Julia and first I'd like to say, I love you all. Especially Joseph Morgan and Danielle Campbell.”
“Thanks. Thanks a lot.”
“Don’t worry, I love you Daniel.”
He squeezes my thigh and leans in to kiss my head. Before deciding to move his arm around my shoulders and hugging me into his side. I rested my hand on his thigh as I hugged him back.
“I love you too, beautiful.”
I blushed and smiled, whilst the audience all awed. Which prompted the red in my cheeks to darken. I sat back up straight and he returned his hand back my thigh, yet this time a little higher up and whilst stroking the fabric of my dress up my thigh.
“My question is for the whole cast and it is, if you were able to play another role...who would you wanna play ?”
“On our show ? Or just in general ?”
“Yeah. On The Originals.”
“I..I think I would choose Hayley. The Hyrbid female. She's a pretty cool character. Your welcome.”
“Um, I would play...Klaus. Mind you probably better but...”
“I don't wanna play anybody else, I wanna play Elijah.”
“I would play, Elijah....purely because it would be an absolute blessing to wake up that hot everyday and he's a pretty awesome character.”
He smirked at me and moved his hand further up my leg, his fingers now resting at the hem of my white lace thong. I gulped a little but held my composure. It seemed hat every time I complimented him, he got further up my leg and closer to my core. Like a game...and I was more than happy to play.
“If...If I had to absolutely play someone else uh, I would play Oliver because I just think he needs to be brought back to the show...and uh #saveollie. Bring him back !”
“Uh, I would play Elijah because I think I look damn good in a suit.”
“Yeah, you do.”
“Buttoned up to the naval.”
“There we go. I know it's distracting for you, my body.”
“I cannot concentrate. I refuse to continue.”
“Um, I would play Genevieve. I thought she was a really cool character. She was a lot of fun to work with.”
“I see some Genevieve fans in the house, awesome.”
“Um, yeah I think I might choose Elijah too. I think uh, it's a really cool character that Daniel has created.”
“They both quietly believe they can bring more to the role, is what they’re saying. Not quietly, they're saying it to an audience of like three thousand.”
“Only because of what you've done with it Daniel.”
                                            *
“Hi Guys, wow that's loud. I'm so sorry, my name's Marissa. First, I want to say Daniel I watched saving hope and your death killed me. I'm so sorry that you died.”
“Yeah, tell me about it ! I was gutted.”
He squeezed my thigh a little more and started making circles with his finger on the spot closed to my core.
“Oh my goodness.”
Yeah, oh my goodness indeed. He really knew how to make a woman feel good, without hardly doing anything...quite literally.
“Um, so my question is for Julie and Michael. Um, I was wondering...there’s so much violence on the show and so much adult stuff and I was wondering if the network or the studio has ever told you, 'No you can't do that’ ?”
We all started laughing in reply to the questions.
“Oh, we have a story about that don't we...Leah.”
“I don't wanna tell the story again.”
“There's things that we did that couldn't be shown.”
“So here's the thing about broadcast television is that, apparently you can decapitate someone, you can drive a knife into a vampires skull, you can rip out their heart, you can shove a pencil up their nose, you can stab them a million times with glass but when stimulating a sex scene...if there's any movement at all that one would define as thrusting...”
“No thrusting. Pull back on the thrusting.”
“A motion that originates from the hip.”
Charles decided to get up and share a demonstration of thrusting and everyone on stage started laughing and the audience started to scream. Daniel gripped my thigh a little harder, due to jealously. I didn't have to ask him what the reason was, I already knew. At the best of times, he was not a jealous person. He loves and trusts me and Charles a lot and he knows nothing would happen but when he's horny and in need of some attention...he does get jealous. Understandably so, I know because we both do. His pinky finger then started to stroke me, through the lace of my pants.
“It’s difficult because I don't actually remember thrusting being in the script. That was something the actors chose.”
“It was a creative choice. I mean, look at Charles...you would do the same thing. Also, let's not forget the originators of this little problem.”
The audience stayed silent, indicating that they weren't sure how to react to her last sentence. I leaned into Daniel and rested my forehead against his bicep in retaliation to Leah's comment. I couldn't stop giggling, despite the finger rubbing against my wet thong and the blush rising on my cheeks. Daniel was using his other hand to pinch his forehead, whilst chuckling.
“Come on guys, explain it.”
“So, what happened was we were doing the flashback sex scene of Elijah and Lily's wedding night. Daniel got a bit too excited and started to thrust a little and I tried hiding it by opening my legs a bit more.As I did, my underwear snapped because it wasn't as flexible as I thought. So, I had to pay a fine for showing too much skin because the sheets had come off of me a little and we hadn't realised. Not that it was much it was just a little side boob, still.”
“So, it wasn't the thrusting ?”
“No, ironically it wasn't.”
“Let me tell you. There was some excellent, simulated thrusting in those scenes. That was cut, per broadcast standards. While, I think in the same episode seventeen people got brutally massacred. It is what it is.”
“Some of the best thrusting. I hope it makes the special features.”
“Charles called Leah, for some extra rehearsal before hand.”
                                           *
“Hi I'm uh Skylar. Um, I know that between you there has been a myriad of different supernatural creatures. Uh, Phoebe...I think you've been a werewolf, a witch and a mermaid. Uh, in really life...What would you wanna be ?”
“Well, I would say witches because witches don't have to turn on a full moon and they don't have to be like plagued by vampire...the demon’s of vampires. They can just have all the power and really cute outfits...and if I can look more like Danielle Campbell. I'll take it.”
“H20 rocks!”
“Thank you ! Well actually I-Im gonna say a mermaid then. Like, life is better under the sea and I think I would be a mermaid.”
“I don't know-"
“Merman ?”
“Merman. No, I...um. I'm pretty pervy...so I'd say like invisibility.”
“Um, so I'm not pervy at all unlike Daniel. I do think that Heretics are soooo cool though. Like, they can do magic and they are vampires but still have all those human capabilities...like procreation. So, yeah a heretic.”
His hand stopped stroking me through the lace of my panties suddenly and I instantaneously felt a cold gush of air race up my well-shaved legs and punching me in my core. I felt the frayed edges of my lace tickling my upper thigh, where they shouldn't be. Hinting that my favourite pair of thongs had been snapped. I turned to Daniel and narrowed my eyes at him whilst he just continued the panel, like nothing happened. His hand when back to it’s original position resting on my thigh, clearly in punishment for making a comment about his pervy answer.
“Nah, I'm happy where I am. You know, Hyrbid. Definitely not, invisibility. When I joined the show, I thought I was only gonna be a vampire so I was thrilled when I was a werewolf-vampire. I'm sticking to my guns.”
“I like being the token human. I'm just gonna like stay there. Create more mermen.”
“Season three, season of the mermen.”
“The next spin-off.”
“That would be so cool, let me be a mermaid. I would kill it .”
Joseph put his arm on the back of my chair, looking at me after I made my wish known to be a mermaid.
“You better not cum in the water.”
The entirety of the room ruptured into fits of laughter. Even Daniel, who had now moved his hand closer to my core again. Letting his fingers stroke my entrance. Meanwhile, I continued laughing...ignoring the feeling of my husband’s gentle and sensual touch.
“I’m blushing.”
                                            *
“Hi, I'm Katie. If you were to go to Comic Con, on the floor. Is there anyone you would dress up as ?”
The first thought that came to mind was pleasing Daniel. If I said him there was no doubt he'd give in. The problem was, was it a risk I was willing to take...at a comic Con in front of three thousand fans and some of my closest friends.
“Daniel Gillies.”
Every one repeated my answer and whilst doing so I was discovering that I was unequivocally correct with my thought process. Sure enough, Daniel plunged his fingers straight into my entrance leaving me to deal with the resounding squeal that ripped from my throat. Causing Daniel to laugh at me, influencing Joseph to join in.
                                            *
The final question had just been answered by Daniel and I was leaning my head into Daniel's shoulder to help with controlling the moans erupting inside me. The warmth in my stomach has just appeared as quickly as it vanished again, Daniel had stopped and chuckled at my irritated expression. Nevertheless, I got up and shoved my now broken thongs in Daniel's jacket pocket and waved at the fans with a bright smile on my face as we all walked off. We had just got out of the fan's eyesight when a hand delivered a hard slap to my barely covered assume cheek as this dress was so short. I span around and grabbed his wrist before dragging him further backstage, behind a screen next to the dressing rooms.
“What do you think your doing ? Playing around like that during a panel and then not even letting me finish ?!”
I didn't even let him reply as I dragged his face down towards mine and kissed him lustfully. His hands wandered down to my waist and clutched the already tight fabric tighter around me. The other unoccupied hand drove down to my ass and clutched it, allowing the skirt to rise up. Exposing the bare skin of my cheek. I used one of my hands to undo his zipper before pulling his dick out and stroking it. Clearly, he was eager because before I knew it. I was pressed up against the wall, sticking my tongue down his throat and moving myself up and down on his already hard cock. What we hadn't realised that the screen had moved, as Daniel had knocked it with his foot when walking to the wall. He pulled away and smirked at me.
“You told me we wouldn't have public sex after last time.”
“This is the last time Mr Gillies, I'm promising you.”
We smiled at eachother and kept going against the wall. His tip caused some tension when arriving to a depth he hadn’t before but it was a pleasurable one most definitely. The lips of my pussy enveloped his tip and he ran it through my drenched folds before deciding to plunge into me once again. I was about to scream and he knew I wasn’t good at being quiet when he fucks me so good. I clung onto him hoping it would relieve tha ache he’d created by filling me so good. He sat down on a chair that was sat in a chair of the little area backstage. Sitting down, allowed his thrusts to speed up rapidly and his face to rest in between my smooth and nearly covered beasts. He bit my hardened buds through my dress and caused a shive of please to shoot down to my core and promoting me to burst.
I then decided to let go and couldn’t help but let out a gratifying scream for him. I was coming down from my high and the screen pulled back. A man that looked about 40, eyed us disgusted and told us to move it.
“Well atleast I won the deal ?”
“Remember the deal we had ? If I was right about is having sex in public again no matter how much you denied that we wouldn’t. Your were very adamant.#

Yours, My Heart ~ Chapter Sixteen
Tumblr media
June 12th, 2028, The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted
Soft country music plays through the speakers as a powder-blue Camaro drives through the streets of the town Kol Mikaelson once called his home more than a thousand years ago. On his left sits the woman he now came to call as his wife.
“Do we really have to do this?”
“Kol, come on,” Davina sets down the map on her lap with a wry smile.
“I’m just saying — I thought you hated my brother.”
“I did, but he’s on his acceptable behaviour now,” Davina tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Plus, the last time I heard him sound so serious was when he wanted to kill himself to defeat the Hollow.”
“Fine,” Kol concedes with a sigh. “But the second we’re done, we’re out of here.”
Davina shakes her head with a laugh as her husband parks the car and steps out with her to face the magnificent school before them.
Two figures stand near the front yard.
“Hello, brother.”
Klaus envelops Kol into an embrace.
“Relax, Nik,” Kol steps back. “We just saw each other last month.”
Klaus merely smiles. On his left, Caroline and Davina share a hug. She looks at Kol and gives a succinct nod of her head.
“Now that the greetings are out of the way,” Kol shuffles his hands in his jacket pockets. “What are we here for, again?”
With a tilt of his head, Klaus and Caroline lead their guests deeper into the school. Students poke their heads from classroom windows, marvelling at another Original vampire in the school. They wave at Davina, who flashes a pleasant smile as she passes by. As Kol walks deeper into the school, his enhanced hearing hears the coughs echo off the walls.
A turn to the left, and they emerge into a spacious room with two beds. A dark-haired woman occupies one, clutching her head in agony, as Bonnie rubs her back in concern.
“Kaitlyn.”
The woman, along with Bonnie, looks up at Caroline, and weakly waves at the visitors.
“This is Kol Mikaelson and his wife, Davina. Kol and Davina, you know Bonnie Bennett—this is Kaitlyn Chang, water dragon.”
“I beg your pardon?”
Kol looks at Klaus and Elijah with raised eyebrows.
With some physical support from Bonnie, Kaitlyn inhales a shaky breath. Cerulean scales peek from her arms and the skin of her neck. Bluish veins creep upward from the edges of her face. With a raise of her arm, snowflakes cascade upon the floor.
“How the bloody hell?” Kol looks at his brothers back again. Kaitlyn merely collapses on the bed in a coughing fit, and Caroline walks toward her with a bucket in hand.
“It’s a long story.”
Kol turns around.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
“I’m not so sure about that,” Elena voices wryly and leans against the doorway of the bathroom.
“Davina Claire-Mikaelson.”
A grin spreads across Elena’s partly greyed face.
“I see age has been very kind to you.”
Laughter fills Davina's eyes.
"I'm sorry,” Klaus waves his hands between the two women, brows furrowed, “Do the two of you know each other?”
“We’ve met before… in passing.”
Kol raises his eyebrows at Davina.
“It was a long time ago, stop looking at me like that.”
“You’re talking about the woman who killed me in the first place.”
“I know, she told me when we met,” Kol’s jaw drops. “Besides, it was what? Fourteen years ago or something?” Davina lightly slaps his arm. “You’re alive now, that’s all that matters. Lay it off.”
Kaitlyn lurches over the bucket, and Elena staggers in her balance.
“We’ve got some work to do.”

March 12, 2021: Jason and the Argonauts (1963) (Part One)
I am so goddamn excited for this one.
Tumblr media
Back to Greek mythology, my first mythological love! And not just Greek mythology, because this...THIS...this is the first true Avengers story. Oh, yeah, like The Avengers.
Tumblr media
After all, mythology produced the first equivalent of our modern superheroes, with demigods and legends that wield fantastic abilities and powerful items to fight the forces of evil. I mean, it’s the most superhero thing I can think of, and it’s literally a story as old as time. Fact of the matter is, I love superheroes, and I love mythology. Which is why I’m excited to finally see an adaptation of one of the biggest superhero team-up stories ever: Jason and the Argonauts!
See, it all starts with Hera, queen of the Olympians and petty as FUCK.
Tumblr media
See, the newly (and wrongfully) ascended king of Iolcus, Pelias, honored the gods after stealing the throne from his brother. Well, all of the gods except Hera. So, Hera, rightfully pissed off, decides to fuck Pelias over by recruiting his nephew, Jason. Jason’s a naturally hot blonde kid who was raised by the centaur Chiron, also making him wise...theoretically.
Hera tests this kid, and he passes, so she gives him her favor, and tells him to fuck up his uncle. Jason arrives in Iolcus, and demands the throne from Pelias. His uncle agrees, IF he can bring back the Golden Fleece, a legendary treasure that is guarded by a vicious monster and a zealous king. Pelias didn’t think Jason had any chance, but Jason had the gods on his side. They sent their best subjects to his aid, and Jason procured an awesome ship, the Argo. So, who’s coming to help? Oh, you ready for this? ARGONAUTS ASSEMBLE
Tumblr media
Now there are anywhere between 46-85 heroes that are assembled in the Argonauts, with different members in different iterations of the myth. But the big members are:
Heracles, son of Zeus, with the strength of a thousand men
Orpheus, son of the muse Calliope, and master musician
Calais and Zetes, sons of the North Wind, with the ability to fly upon it
Atalanta, the swift-footed huntress, and only female member
Castor and Pollux, twin half-brothers (yeah, really) and horse-riders
Theseus, son of Poseidon, and slayer of the Minotaur
Tip of the iceberg there, but you get the point: we’ve got a superhero team on our hands! And these heroes would perform MANY great deeds on their journey to the Fleece. They fought the Harpies to defend an oracle, they passed the dangerous Clashing Rocks, they battled the Stymphalian Birds, with feathers of metal. Sirens, fire-breathing bulls, and a giant bronze man named Talos.
Tumblr media
Different one. Eventually, they procured the Golden Fleece on the island of Colchis, where they fought a dragon with a help of the young sorceress (and niece of Circe), Medea. She fell in love with Jason, and the two fled the island, married, and had twins. Only for Medea to reveal herself as a stone-cold sociopath, and only for Jason to ditch her for another woman. That goes...VERY badly for Jason. Breaking off his marriage pisses off Hera, THE GODDESS OF MARRIAGE, and he dies sad and alone after Medea does...Medea does a lot, I’ll just leave it at that. Jason, completely fucked at that point, takes a nap at the foot of the now rotting Argo, which collapses on top of him and kills him.
Tumblr media
For the record, I truncated that story A LOT. There’s a lot to it, but I have a movie to watch, goddamit! And I’m really excited because this is my first Harryhausen movie! You know, Ray Harryhausen, one of the early greats of practical special effects in film? A specialist in stop-motion from its earliest days, he revolutionizes the art throughout films in the 1950s and 1960s, with this one being one of the most successful. You’ve definitely seen his influence, from stuff that he’s done directly...
Tumblr media
...to those inspired by him and his methodology...
Tumblr media
...to the arts that were descended indirectly from his groundbreaking effects.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah, I’m fucking GOING THERE. Fun fact: Ray Winston Studios, a stop-motion group active during the ‘80s and ‘90s, and a descendant of Harryhausen’s works, were originally going to do the animation for the dinosaurs in this movie, in Claymation. However, the recent advent of advanced animatronics, alongside ILM’s founding, caused them to take some of those principles, and apply them to CGI and animatronics. So, yeah, I’m claiming an indirect connection here!
Anyway, enough being a nerd, LET’S WATCH THE GODDAMN MOVIE! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
Recap (1/2)
As the bombastic and epic score plays, the credits role of a Greek-style fresco, detailing the various adventures of the Argonauts. And before the movie starts, I come to a realization: there is a high chance that I’m going to hate this movie’s inaccuracies to Greek mythology. It’s not impossible. I’m real persnickety about my mythology adaptations, just warning you all now. I’ll probably get into it in this Recap, too. Full goddamn warning.
Tumblr media
We begin with a seer, reading the future for the treacherous Pelias (Douglas Witmer). He sees first a Golden Fleece at the end of the world, but Pelias ignores this, and asks of his upcoming conquest of the kingdom of...Thessaly. Not, uh...not Iolcus. Mmmkay.
The seer fortells that Pelias will seize the throne, by force, from his brother and the king of Thessaly...Aristo...not Aeson. OK then. The seer says that he will be successful, but will eventually fall to one of Aristo’s kids, who will take his throne. He has two daughters, Philomena and Briseis, and one son, Jason. Looks like they’re gonna die, too.
Tumblr media
The invasion begins! Amongst the chaos, Briseis (Davina Taylor) takes her baby sister, Philomena, into the temple of Hera, and pleads to her for her protection. However, they’re found by Pelias, who asks who she is. He’s interrupted by a priestess of Hera, who claims that the Queen Goddess has answered the girl’s prayer for protection.
Pelias responds in kind.
Tumblr media
Well...I’m sure that’s gonna piss off Hera. He claims it to be the will of Zeus, but she states that it is his will, not Zeus’. The gods have abandoned him, and he will one day fall to a one-sandaled man, Jason. And as the woman reveals this...she disappears. Nice. FUCKIN’ NICE.
This “priestess” is Hera (Honor Blackman), of course. She goes to her husband, Zeus (Niall MacGinnis), and asks if he ordered Pelias to destroy and profane her temple. He says no, as that was Pelias’ attempt to stave off his inevitable fall by Jason. However, Jason has escaped Pelias’ wrath, as has his sister Philomena. Hera decided, however, that she wants to take down Pelias, and Jason is the best was for that to happen. Hence, she wishes to sponsor Jason.
Tumblr media
However, Zeus, being the classic misogynist, says that he will allow it, but she may only help Jason 5 times, once for each time that the fallen Briseis prayed to her. She agrees, and waits 20 years to start fuckin’ with Pelias. Pelias, meanwhile, is growing more paranoid over the one-sandaled man prophecy that Hera gave him.
One day, on the bank of a river, Hera appears to make Pelias fall off of his horse into the river. He’s saved from drowning by a young man, who loses his sandal in the process. This is, of course, Jason (Todd Armstrong), who was already on his way to see Pelias for some reason.
Tumblr media
For the record, this is an adaptation of the original story, in which Hera disguises herself as an old beggar-woman, and Jason proves himself to her by helping her across the river, after which she gives him her favor. To be honest, I like this a bit more, or at least as much.
Pelias brings Jason back to a camp for a celebration, with him as an honored guest. Jason reveals exactly who he is, and that he was raised outside of the city by one of his father’s loyal soldiers. He has come to reclaim his right place as king of Thessaly, and to restore it to it’s rightful glory. However, Pelias hasn’t revealed himself as king, and asks Jason how he plans to accomplish these feats. Jason replies with his ultimate plan: obtain the Golden Fleece.
Tumblr media
Here’s the deal about the Golden Fleece. One of the most legendary items in Greek mythology, the fleece is essentially a symbol of royalty, and is the coat of a ram with wings found on the island of Colchis. Now, the meaning of the fleece has long been debated, with the main consensus stating that it’s a symbol of royalty. However, some claim that it’s a symbol of prosperous farming (golden grains of wheat), the forgiveness of the gods for some unknown deed, Zeus in the form of a ram, or simply the promise of the unknown at the edge of the world.
What it DEFINITELY ISN’T is a magical healing garment, as Jason claims it to be. But OK, whatever, we need a good reason to get the Fleece, sure. Pelias, not revealing himself, says that Jason should try to get the Fleece, with a boat and a crew, and bring it back to Thessaly, returning and killing Pelias in order to take the throne. Of course, Pelias thinks that this is impossible, which he says to his son Acastus (Gary Raymond). He also knows that if he kills Jason, he it will mean his own destruction, as Hera told him.
Tumblr media
Jason goes to ponder this journey, only to encounter the seer. The seer asks if he has come to pray to the gods, to which Jason states that he doesn’t believe in them, nor does he have cause to. The seer offers to give him that cause, and reveals himself as Hermes (Michael Gwynn), the swift-footed messenger god, god of medicine, and trickster god of the Olympians.
Hermes isn’t usually directly involved in the myths of Jason, but that’s OK. He also does something particularly unusual, and brings Jason TO Olympus to meet the Gods themselves. Which, uh...yeah, hot damn. Zeus and the rest arranged for Hermes to bring Jason to them. They ask how they can help him on his quest. Zeus offers him a ship and crew, but Jason refuses, much to the gall of EVERYBODY.
Tumblr media
Hera helps him by telling him where to find the Golden Fleece: the island of Colchis, at the other end of the world. To get there, though, Jason’ll DEFINITELY need a ship. He decides to go to the shipbuilders of Greece, and tell them that great treasure lies on Colchis, and they may receive some for their aid. As for the crew, he’s got a similar tactic. Offer the reward to the athletes and heroes of Greece, who will compete in games to determine their eligibility.
Not from the original myths...but it actually makes a lot of sense. Goddamn, is this going to be a good adaptation? I’m excited! The games are held, and many athletes win their place on the journey. They include: Castor and Pollux (Ferdinando Poggi and John Crawford), Acastus, and of course, Heracles (Nigel Green). And yeah, he’s called Hercules here, but I don’t care.
Tumblr media
When Hercules arrives, this grabs the attention of the young Hylas (John Caimey), who arrived to late to compete in the games. He challenges Heracles to something, believing that beating Heracles in something will guarantee him a place on the ship.
While everyone mocks this, Heracles agrees to go up against him in a discus-throwing contest. They must hit or pass a rock in the ocean by throwing their discus. Heracles hits it easily, of course. And the frail Hylas...
Tumblr media
...Nice. Did not see that coming, and that’s actually very smart. Also takes a lot of skill, because I could NOT do that. Hylas wins his place in the ship, to the delight of both the crowd and the Olympians. And yes, Hylas actually is a companion of Heracles in the original stories, so that’s neat!
Now for the boat, being built by master builder Argus (Laurence Naismith), who is coming on the ship with them. He notes that something appears to have guided his hand during the ship’s construction. In the original myth, that would be Athena. However, here, it’s probably Hera, as the figurehead is specifically carved in her image. And is also...alive?
Tumblr media
Well...to be fair, in many myths, the ship contains wood built from a magical tree that could speak, and see the future. So, OK, magic ship, fair enough. Well, hopefully, that ship’s guidance will happen soon, as the voyage immediately proves difficult. No water, no rest, and frustrated men.
Jason asks the figurehead for help (which would be help #3) and Hera speaks through it to tell Jason to head to the Isle of Bronze, where Hephaestus once had his forge. However, the island is lorded over by a powerful something called Talos. I know what Talos is, but the movie hasn’t revealed him yet.
Tumblr media
The Argo makes its way to the island, and the men head ashore to get food and water. They see goats there, which will provide them both food and drink, and Heracles and Hylas chase after them for just that aim. And that’s when they blunder into a giant bronze statuary, lorded over by the statue of Talos.
The two enter a chamber in the statue’s base, which is filled to the brim with gold and treasure. However, Jason warned the men of the Argo not to take anything from the island but food and water. Hylas remembers this, but Heracles doesn’t care, and takes a golden staff from the chamber. And Talos...Talos doesn’t appreciate that.
Tumblr media
Oh, that’s a great place to take a break! See you in Part Two!

Feedback gives me life and motivation for future things. ♥
A heavy presence of darkness hadn’t gone unnoticed by the Mikaelsons. As they stood in the courtyard downstairs, they could feel it reach them within seconds. It filled every square inch contained inside the boundaries of the spell Y/N and Freya created. The last time some of them had felt the darkness surround them as they had, the Mikaelsons had saved Y/N from her Ascension.
While they all hoped that tonight would be uneventful, there was still the possibility of an unwanted outcome. When Y/N’s cry out to Elijah reached their ears moments before, they knew. They hadn’t missed the way Y/N had run in a panic for Henrik’s room. Hearing her call out to Elijah had confirmed their worst fears. Henrik had been taken right from under their protection.
“I should have listened to my instincts.” Y/N said as she looked over at Elijah. “I knew this was going to be a bad idea.” Not once had her eyes changed back to their Y/E/C shade since she performed her spell. “I shouldn’t have brought him here. He would have been safe at the hotel. Hell, coming back to the city was a bad idea in the first place.”
“That’s not true, and you know it.” Elijah said as he watched her, unsure of how to approach her. The darkness that surrounded her was by her own doing now. The last time Elijah had seen her as she was, it was forced upon her. He had been able to work with her on controlling it. Now, he had no idea what to expect. “Henrik needed help. You believed my family would be able to provide him that.”
Y/N’s head tilted to the side as she watched him. “I believed your sister would help me. It was your idea to bring him here. ‘This will be the safest place for him.’ I believe were the words you said. Now look, Hayley had been able to slip through the cracks and my son was taken-”
“Our son.” Elijah cut her off as he took several steps towards her. “He is our son. Yes, Hayley had a part in taking him for Lucia, but do not for a moment think I won’t do everything in my power to ensure he is safely returned to us.”
A dark chuckle passed Y/N’s lips, sending a chill through Elijah that he tried to ignore. “Your power? Need I remind you that even your powers of vampirism aren’t going to be enough. Lucia intends to use him for power. Dark power that not even you would be able to stand against on your own. Your family included. Not only that but you’ll get in the way when it comes time for the wolf you just love to die.”
Elijah shook his head. He knew she was upset, and the dark magic flowing through her wasn’t making anything better. He knew that the woman standing in front of him was just being influenced by the darker parts of herself. It fed the darker thoughts that she usually kept to herself. But because Henrik had been taken from them, there was no way to stop that influence.
“You aren’t thinking straight. This isn’t you.” He said with a sigh.
Y/N closed the gap between them and looked up at him. “I’ve already told you. Without Henrik here, I have no humanity.” A smirk pulled at her lips. “Then again, you weren’t always paying attention to what I say, were you? Your attention had been elsewhere.” Before Elijah could even open his mouth, Y/N turned and walked towards the door. “Let’s go. I know where they’ll be and a plan where you’ll be able to play the hero to your son. But just know, the moment he is safe, I can promise you that you won’t be able to stop me from going after Hayley.”
______
Candlelight lit up the ruins of the centuries-old Y/L/N home. Nature had reclaimed the land in many places throughout the property, except for the one spot killed by dark magic during several Awakening and Ascensions throughout the years. It was now where Henrik found himself as his eyes began to open.
“There’s my cousin’s adorable son.” Lucia’s voice was anything but sweet as she looked over Henrik.
Henrik had begun waking up when Hayley had come into his room. At first, because of the glamour, he believed Elijah had come in to check on him. It wasn’t until he felt the familiar warning that danger was near. His hand instinctively went up to his necklace before Hayley blew a powder towards Henrik, causing him to lose consciousness.
The chuckle he heard caused him to jolt up and look around. Sitting just outside a circle, Lucia had been crouched down in front of him. His brown eyes met black ones as a grin pulled at her lips.
Henrik’s ability told-more like yelled at-him to run. There was nothing good about the woman in front of him. He wanted to run, he wanted to get as far away as possible. But Henrik knew better, the circle that surrounded him would prevent him from doing so.
“My mom and dad know you’re here.” He said as he held his head high. “They’ll come for me.”
Lucia chuckled at his words. “Oh, I’m planning on that kid. Your mom and I have some unfinished business. Plus, I’d hate for her to miss your Awakening.”
“I’m not doing it.” He said confidently as he crossed his arms over his chest. “My family will stop you before you can start.”
She rolled her eyes. “You really did take after your parents. I was really hoping some of your grandfather’s traits would have been passed down.”
“Which one?” There was curiosity in Henrik at Lucia’s words. Y/N had told him plenty of stories of his grandfathers. He understood that they were both someone Henrik wouldn’t feel safe around even though he would never meet them.
Lucia shrugged. “Why not both? My Uncle lived for the darkness. He’s the one that pushed for your mother’s Awakening. And we both know your mom would have been the coven’s leader if only she had Ascended. Such a shame that your father saved her. As for his father, he hated his own family. Hunted them for centuries. I hoped maybe, just maybe, that coldheartedness would have been passed down.  Instead, you’ve got your mother’s weakness and your father’s need to believe that family is stronger together.”
“Always and Forever does have its moments.” Hayley said from behind Lucia.
A smirk pulled at Lucia’s lips as she slowly turned towards Hayley. “Right, you were a part of that little pact. And now that you’ve personally went against their back, it’s been revoked. Which reminds me. Shouldn’t you be heading home to your husband? We both know my cousin will rip into you the moment she sees you.”
Hayley looked between Lucia and Henrik. While she did feel guilty for the things she had done the last few days, Hayley knew she wouldn’t change anything. With a nod, she turned to leave. But just as she was about to step outside of the ruins, she was met with a barrier.
“What the hell?” Hayley said as she tried moving through it again.
Lucia chuckled. “Looks like she’s close by. You should have left after you dropped him off.” She turned her attention back to Henrik. “Ready for one hell of a Y/L/N Awakening?”
_____
“Let’s think about this.” Rebekah said as Y/N and the rest of her family stood not too far from the ruins. “If we all go in there at once, we wont stand a chance. She knows we’re coming. This plan of yours is too risky.”
Y/N chuckled. “Says the vampire that is immortal. This will work as long as everyone plays their part. Distractions aren’t needed. Not when I’m here to deal with Lucia.”
The Mikaelsons were still trying to get used to Y/N being so calm than any other mother would be in this situation. For as many times Hope had been in danger, Hayley was always in a frantic state until her daughter was safe. Yet here Y/N was influenced by black magic, and not once had she lost her cool.
“I’m with Rebekah on this one.” Davina said as she looked over at Y/N. “Not all of us can withstand your family. Even as a former New Orleans witch, this is some dark magic you’re about to release.”
“I trust her on this.” Elijah said with a nod. “We go in there, protect Henrik in any way possible. Y/N will handle the rest.”
“And if she fails?” Klaus asked.
“I Ascend.” Y/N said as she looked over at Klaus before looking over at Elijah. “Then you will take my son and run.”
“That wasn’t a part of the plan, Y/N.” Elijah said, shaking his head.
“There was a lot that wasn’t a part of our plans.” Y/N threw at him. “But here we are.” For a brief moment, her eyes changed back to their natural color. “Our son is in there. We have less than an hour before midnight. To hell with the plans we made if this all fails. You will take Henrik and leave if there is no other choice.”
Elijah shook his head once more, hating this plan. “And if I stop you?”
Y/N’s eyes flicked back to black. “Try it, Elijah. There are a lot of pent of emotions that I’d be willing to let out. All of us know that wouldn’t be a pretty sight for our son to see.”
The threat was enough for Elijah to nod his head. They weren’t supposed to be fighting each other. They were supposed to be working together to get their son home safely. And no matter what kind of creatures they both were, Y/N held all the power over them.
“Let’s go.” Elijah said, keeping his eyes on Y/N’s.
The others around them left just as planned. Y/N and Elijah stood their ground as they looked at each other. While Elijah would have given anything to look into her Y/E/C eyes as he did, he wanted to make sure this would work.
“Tell me what you’ll do. Just one last time, so I know you won’t change things on me.” He with a nod.
“I’ll go in, speak with my cousin.” She started. “You and everyone else will be off on the sides dealing with the rest of my family. The moment the circle is broken, you’ll go in and get Henrik.” Her eyes flickered back to normal. “Doing this, will bring in my darker side. In the process, Henrik will feel that. His instincts will change. So you need to promise me that you’ll get him out of there.”
“You have my word.” Elijah said lifting his hand to run his fingers along her cheek. “Now just promise me you’ll come back to us when this is done.”
Y/N sighed as she leaned into his touch. “We both know I want to. But if anything changes, I will Ascend without any interference.”
Elijah’s face hardened, but he nodded. “Okay.” He could see there was no changing her mind. She was the only one that could face Lucia and win. The rest of them, there was that chance that they’d lose and Henrik would be forced to Awaken. That would be when Y/N would offer an Ascension instead.
A gust of wind picked up, and Lucia was thrown back against the broken wall. A laugh passed her lips as she stood, shaking herself off from the impact. “Hello, Y/N.” She said with a smirk growing on her lips.
Y/N walked into ruins at her name. Henrik had been so relieved to see his mother. But what he hadn’t been expecting was how her eyes looked exactly like Lucia’s. It confused him for only a moment. He understood that his mother had to tap into her darker side to deal with Lucia.
Y/N’s eyes landed on Henrik, a small smile formed on her lips before her eyes flickered back to Y/E/C. “You’re safe in there, Henrik. Whatever magic happens out here, you’ll be safe from it.”
Henrik nodded his head and moved as far back as he could in the circle he was in. If his mother said he was safe, he believed that. He watched as her eyes flicked back to black before her attention turned to Lucia.
“Have I ever mentioned how much I hated these family get togethers?” Y/N said as she moved closer to Lucia. “And now you’ve brought my son to one. I think my reaction to this is quite clear and acceptable.”
“Come on, Y/N/N.” Lucia said watching her. “We both know this is what keeps the family line going. I was never able to have children after I ascended. And you, you’ve got the perfect candidate in your son for him to Awaken and Ascend when the time is right. Y/L/N and a firstborn Mikaelson, that is some power.”
“He won't be.” Y/N said as she took a step closer towards her cousin. “I made it very clear when I left the coven that I wanted nothing to do with it. Neither would my son. The only way you’d be able to get him to Awaken is to go through me and force the first line of the spell out of my lips.”
Lucia chuckled. “We both know I have more power since I’ve Ascended. You were so close to doing the same. So I look forward to getting those words to leave your lips when the time is right.”
The first wave of magic that Lucia used against Y/N hadn’t budged her. It caused a smirk to pull at her lips. “I was supposed to lead the coven. Even without Ascending, I still have more power.” Y/N fired off several spells that sent Lucia back several feet.
Standing, Lucia wiped the blood from the corner of her lips and shook her head. “I’m surprised you even let your darker side in for this.” She said as she held her hands out to the side.
Without another word between the two, different types of spells left the two witches. Some in defense, others in attempt to subdue the other. Each spell that went towards the other held more power than the last. It was a fight to ensure the other would fall in some way.
It was as Y/N pushed the blast towards Lucia did she bring her other hand up. A simple wave of her hand had the edge of the circle closest to where Elijah was supposed to be opened up. She never once looked back towards the circle. She wouldn’t be distracted in front of Lucia, it be an opening to the woman and what Y/N had just done would be for nothing.
Henrik hated the way his mom and Lucia were currently fighting. Even as Elijah grabbed hold of him, Henrik refused to go. The more the darker magic seeped into his mother, the more his ability was telling him his mother was no longer safe. He hated the feeling and there was a part of him that wanted to stop his mother from being someone he could no longer trust.
The moment Elijah noticed the circle had been opened, he was right by Henrik’s side. Henrik had been so focused on the fight before him that he hadn’t noticed that Elijah was there.
“No, we can’t leave momma.” Henrik said as he pulled his hand away from Elijah’s.
“We need to go.” Elijah said as looked down at his son, finally catching his attention. While Henrik had only looked at his dad for a moment, his eyes went back to the other two.
“I give you my word that she will not be left here. But we need to get you out of here.” Elijah said hoping his son would understand.
The pressure from the magic that surrounded them was becoming unbearable. The longer they stayed the more it would have affected anyone that was standing there with the two witches. Elijah wouldn’t let Henrik be caught in the middle of this all.
“I can help her.” Henrik said taking a step back from his father.
“No.” Elijah shook his head. “I need you safe. I will come back and get her out of here, but I will not let you put yourself in danger.”
Henrik stood his ground though. Even as Y/N cried out in pain from the spell Lucia just used on her, he refused to leave. Both him and Elijah looked over at Y/N. She stood up quickly and an orb formed in her hands before sending it over to Lucia. The orb was counteracted by Lucia’s own spell causing the orb to shatter into sparks surrounding them.
“I know a spell.” Henrik said, trying to convince Elijah. “Momma said to trust my instincts. This spell will help.”
Elijah looked from Y/N to Henrik before looking over at his siblings. Here his son was asking to help stop the fight between the two cousins with Magic. On the night of his Awakening, no less. Looking over at Freya, who nodded at his silent question.
“Okay.” Elijah nodded. “What do we need?”
Henrik grabbed his father’s hand and gave a smile. “Just your hand.”
Y/N’s hands were stretched out in front of her, a stream of magic illuminating from them. Lucia had been the same way, only her stream was a lot closer to Y/N.
Henrik began reciting the spell from memory. One that he had read about on his own, wanting to be safe just in case there was something he needed to use it for. The more he chanted the spell, the more the necklace that was around his neck began to glow.
It wasn’t long before the glow had become so bright that it even stopped Lucia and Y/N. As their eyes all turned towards the child, Y/N panicked. She knew what spell Henrik was doing. Without the proper training, this one could possibly end badly.
She took a step towards them, hoping to stop Henrik before it became too much for him. But the way Elijah’s eyes met hers and shook his head, she knew that Elijah would stop him if needed.
It was Henrik’s yell of the last line of the spell that told Y/N he had reached the end of it. The blast that came from the necklace had caused any witch in the area to fly back, Y/N, Lucia, Freya and Davina included.
Those that were not deemed ‘safe’ by Henrik had enough power course through them, frying them from the inside out. Freya and Y/N had barely felt so much as a shock after being thrown across the ruins. Lucia on the other hand, felt the power course through her at an alarming rate that caused Lucia to scream out in pain.
The moment Lucia’s lifeless body hit the ground, it released the darkness into the air. The cloud of black magic crackled with electricity from the spell. It hovered over everyone for a moment before it evaporated completely.
The spell that Henrik had done was not only a defensive spell, but it expelled anything with dark magic that Henrik deemed it to. While an Awaking called to the darkness, this spell pushed it away.
The Marks that once covered their wrists slowly faded. For if the person that sent the invitations ceased to exist, the mark was no longer needed. While Henrik could easily step with in the circle and complete the awakening, it was no longer a huge ritual the family normally made it.
Y/N, Davina, and Freya slowly stood up from where they were. Y/N was spared from the same thing Lucia had went through. It meant the darkness with in her still lingered. As she stood, the threat she had felt subsided. With it, the black veins dimmed in comparison to what they had been. It was going to take some time for them to fully subside.
A proud look formed on Elijah’s face as he tightened his hold on his son’s hand. While he had seen plenty of spells being done by witches, that was a first that he had ever seen a child as young as he had been, use that kind of Magic. Even Hope had been a few years older with some of the spells he had seen her do.
“I did it.” Henrik said with a grin on his face as he looked up at Elijah. “Lucia can’t hurt us anymore.”
“And no one will ever force you into an Awakening.” Elijah noted as he gave Henrik a smile.
A moment later their eyes landed on Y/N across the way. She had been stretching herself out from the hit she had taken. It was as their eyes landed on Y/N that they noticed the dark veins had faded and her eyes were no longer black.
A smile pulled at Elijah’s lips to know that she was okay. He was thankful that she didn’t need to force herself into an Ascension. He knew that with time, just as she had before, that the veins would completely subside the closer to her humanity she got.
Y/N took a step towards Henrik. Her eyes had been wide from the magic he had just done. There was a proud feeling surrounding her as she took in her son. But the moment she took that step, she watched as Henrik moved behind Elijah.
Everyone else had held their breath as Henrik had done so. Y/N had enough darkness in her that Henrik could sense the change in her. Y/N took a step back wanting to give Henrik his space. She of all people knew how to provide the boundaries he needed.
“Y/N,” Elijah began taking a step towards her.
Y/N placed her hand up to stop him. “I understand more than anyone else will. I have too much darkness that could potentially hurt him. I have to keep my distance while I get this under control.”
“I’m sorry, momma.” Henrik said looking out from behind Elijah.
Y/N crouched to his level, even though she had a bit of distance between them. “You have nothing to be sorry about, my love. I knew this was a possibility. We’ll get back to where we were.”
“Promise?” Henrik asked.
“I promise.” She said with a nod. “But for right now, I’m not safe around you. So that means you’ll have to stay with your dad for a bit. Just until I can get myself under control.”
“Okay.” There was a saddened tone in his words that no one missed. He knew what that would mean for the next day.
“You guys should go.” Y/N said as she stood up. “Celebrate that Henrik pretty much saved us tonight.” Her eyes landed back on Henrik. “When you wake-” Her voice cracked a bit, trying to gain control of her emotions. “You’ll have an amazing breakfast with your dad for your birthday. And I promise there will be a gift from me waiting for you.”
The siblings looked down at the ground at Y/N’s words. This would be the first birthday of Henrik’s that Y/N would miss. While the others had missed the first handful of birthdays for Henrik, the one person constantly in his life wouldn’t be there.
“And where will you go?” Elijah asked after a moment of watching her.
“The hotel.” She shrugged. “I have some cleansing spells I need to preform in order to get myself back on track. Just make sure he has a good birthday, just in case if I can’t be there tomorrow.”
“I give you my word.” Elijah said with a nod of his head before looking over at his siblings who nodded their heads as well.
Satisfied, Y/N nodded her head in return. With a flick of her wrist, she had the boundary spell removed from the ruins. She may not be able to go with them, but she knew eventually she’d be able to spend time with her son again. It took a moment for the others to move, but when they did, there was a sigh of relief from Y/N.
The moment the barrier came down, Y/N hadn’t missed the way the shadows played in the corner of her eye. She watched as Henrik walked alongside his father as he excitedly spoke about the power he felt. The sight itself had brought a smile to Y/N’s face. Her son would be free from the darkness that her life had been plagued by.
But while Henrik was safe from it, Y/N would never be free from it. It was why the moment she saw the figure move through the shadows she stopped following the others. Her Y/C/E eyes flicked to black as a smirk pulled from her lips. With a snap of her fingers, she was exactly where she wanted to be.
Hayley walked through the woods that were around her. She carefully took each step, making sure the other’s hadn’t heard her. The whole time Y/N and the Mikaelsons dealt with Lucia, Hayley had been able to make herself scarce. While Hayley knew that eventually she would need to face Elijah and Y/N on what she had done. But that didn’t have to be tonight. Or so she thought.
She looked back for a moment to take in the others leaving. But when she turned back around, Y/N stood in front of her. Her eyes were pitch black and a smirk had been placed on her face, causing Hayley to take a step back.
“Now how did I know you’d be trying to sneak away.” Y/N said as she stayed in her spot watching Hayley. “I do believe between the two of us, we have some unfinished business.”
Hayley turned to run, to at least get away from Y/N long enough for her to cool down some. But with a wave of Y/N’s hand, Hayley’s legs gave a sickening crack as she fell to the ground. The cry of pain that came from Hayley had gone unnoticed by the others thanks to Y/N’s magic.
“You don’t have to do this.” Hayley said as she clutched at her legs. Panic had been in her voice. “I get what I did was wrong. I never thought she’d hurt Henrik.”
Y/N chuckled as she crouched down next to Hayley. “I believe that last time we spoke I made it very clear you were to stay away from my son. Seeing as you didn’t,” Y/N held her hand out, slowly making a fist. It caused Hayley to grab a hold of her chest as pain filled her. “We are about to have one hell of time away from anyone that would save you.”
As Y/N’s fist closed, Hayley’s neck snapped, causing her to fall to the ground, unconscious. Y/N stood above her body, her smirk still on her face. With one more snap of her fingers, both of them were gone from sight.

❝ kiss me on the mouth and set me free ❞
TO BE CLEAR, Aniya Grover had never been talented at confrontation. Quite the opposite, really. Growing up, she’d been caught between her mother’s culture and that of the Vikings. Regardless, they’d both valued two traits in a woman: submissive, and quiet. She wasn’t to speak unless spoken to, not to act even when acted against. She was meant to cook and bear children for her husband -- something Rebekah had always rebelled against. Aniya, however, had learned to give into these ideals; and it was now, in the twenty-first century, that she was learning to lose them.
Aniya looked up at Kol, staring daggers at him from across the dining table. It had been several hours since they’d left the diner and returned to the Abattoir. Aniya had left first, refusing to say her goodbyes after nearly murdering the witch that suggested Henry’s sacrifice. It had been Kol that stopped her, claiming that she ‘was only trying to help.’ It was then that she left without another word. Kol followed shortly after.
When they returned, Kol called for his siblings to have a family meeting in the dining area. He excused Hayley and Hope, and gave Freya an open invitation despite not having met Aniya when she was alive. The two sat across from each other in the dining area, the air growing thicker with each second. Finally, they heard the sound of heels clicking against the pavement, and internally let out sighs of relief as Rebekah took her place next to Aniya.
“Now, what might this be about?” Rebekah asked, pushing her chair in. “Have you come to ask for a custody agreement, Kol?”
Kol smiled tightly at her, eyes crinkling at the edges. “I’ll have to say ‘no’ to that offer, sister. I wouldn’t want to run off with your only friend. After all, no one else seems to like you.”
“Yes, well, at the very least, I have a friend,” Rebekah pointed out, a sickly sweet smile on your face. “You haven’t had a friend since the 1800s.”
“1700s, really,” Niklaus cut in, taking his seat at the head of the table. He smiled smugly, and folded his arms in front of him, blue eyes glimmering with delight. “I’m afraid he was daggered for most of that century.”
“That reminds me, I haven’t had the chance to return the favor,” Kol sneered and stood from his chair. Aniya’s brows furrowed at the harshness of his voice -- the way he seemed to growl the veiled threat at his half-brother. Slowly, she began to feel the weight of a thousand years on her chest. Whatever human version of Kol Mikaelson she’d loved had died centuries ago, and she began to wonder if all her suffering had been the result of pining after a person that no longer existed. If perhaps returning her memories would do more harm than good.
Subconsciously, she reached hand up to touch the ring around her neck. Kol noticed and glared.
She watched as Elijah placed a calming hand on his brother’s shoulder, suggesting that he take a seat. Kol clenched his jaw at his elder brother, but obliged, sitting back in his chair. Elijah nodded and took his place between Kol and Niklaus. He took a moment to adjust his appearance before giving a polite smile. Even this Elijah seemed foreign to her. More confrontational and protective, compared to the mere child he’d been before. He was well put-together, calm and a perfect mediator; and, in Aniya’s eyes, a perfect stranger.
“So, what did we need to discuss?” Elijah asked, looking around the table. Rebekah and Niklaus shrugged in unison, and it occurred to Aniya that Henry’s life would mean nothing to the Mikaelsons so long as they had what they wanted. It would be Rebekah who would be most eager to have her memories returned to her, and Niklaus who would want Vihaan resurrected and return to -- somewhat -- mortal life.
“It seems that Kol and a New Orleans witch have found a way to return your memories,” Aniya spoke slowly, watching for negative reactions among the siblings. Elijah and Niklaus had reacted the fastest, their eyebrows furrowing in confusion at her statement. Rebekah’s eyes widened as she turned her attention to the young witch. Aniya continued, “As well as a way to resurrect my brother.”
“Kol, the last thing we need to do is be involved with the witches again,” Rebekah spoke quickly.
“The witches have lost their link to their ancestors, and are being forced to practice Earth magic. They are at their weakest, meaning they will be willing to deceive and manipulate anyone who is foolish enough to play into their games,” Elijah explained. “In case you don’t remember, they were willing to sacrifice four teenage girls not ten years ago.”
“As if we’re any better,” Kol shot back. He paused for a moment, his gaze flickering in Aniya’s direction. “If it hadn't been for you and Freya, Davina might still be alive."
"If it hadn't been for me and Freya, the Mikaelson family line would have been murdered before your very eyes," Elijah corrected. "You may have loved that girl, but she was not your family."
Rebekah placed a hand on Aniya's hand, which had been resting in her lap. "That's quite enough from both of you. I'm sure there's a way Aniya can return our memories without having to confide in the witches."
"On the contrary, I have heard of her brand of witches less than a dozen times in my immortal life," Kol argued. "She refuses to practice magic unless provoked, so we aren't even sure she can do simple spells--"
"You do not speak for me," Aniya cut him off, narrowing her eyes at him. She turned to the Mikaelsons, wringing her hands as she spoke. "I possess an offensive magic. It's a finite source, depending on the state of my health in order to be put to use. As of late, I have combined it with defensive tactics, in which I essentially use nearby resources to protect myself against the attacker."
"And what the bloody hell does that have to do with memory erasure?" Rebekah questioned.
"It seems that when I was sacrificed, all traces of my brother and I's existence was wiped off the face of the Earth," Aniya responded. "According to Kol's little witch, I can return your memories by erasing the memories of others."
Nik spoke up finally, though his face remained blank as he processed the information. "And why would you need the help of New Orleans witches to achieve this? We have a witch, too. One who is not hellbent on returning to power at this very moment."
"Our dear sister practices earth magic, Nik," Kol said with a sickeningly sweet smile. "She's only practiced sacrificial magic once, she's barely familiar with the concept."
Aniya raised an eyebrow at his behavior. "Why are you so willing to hand me away to them? I'm not a New Orleans witch. They have no motive to help me."
"Their motive is that they are indebted to me, and this is their way of paying it off," Kol said with a shrug. "It only cost a few dark objects."
"You're interested in our marriage," Aniya stated. A light scoff left her lips and she crossed her arms over her chest. It had only taken a few short years of friendship to learn when Kol was lying. She'd recognized it in most of the Mikaelsons, outside of Niklaus. Each time, she'd been kind about it. Smiled politely and calmly asked for the truth. She took no interest in doing so now.
If he'd simply asked, she might have shown him the memories herself. It might have hurt his head, the way it had done the night before, but at least then she might have been able to prevent the wall of ice building itself around her chest. Not only as a result of Henry, but of his doubt. She wouldn't need a grimoire to teach her the spells she'd spent eighteen years memorizing. She wouldn't want it.
In her later years, her father began to teach heavier sacrificial magic. Spells to return or take away memories; to ensure the misfortune of an enemy; and spells to take a life. Her father had never taught her to return it, stating it wasn't the job of a witch to interfere with the will of the god's. It had been a pathetic excuse, of course, but she and Vihaan had kept their mouths shut.
"And you're interested in a human," Kol remarked. "How did he know about Tyaag witches? Perhaps he's a New Orleans witch himself."
He hadn't been. Henry Pearl had been perfectly human -- a tall, gentle mortal. He wouldn't have survived living in the village a thousand years ago, and she was afraid he wouldn't survive now. Perhaps she should have said goodbye after all.
Kol watched the pendant that hung from her neck, its velvet ribbon covering the darkened scar she'd refused to heal. She might have gotten hurt if she'd tried to return the memories on her own, and there was no telling whether she would know where to begin. Every time he so much as thought of her within Death's grasp, an aching pain seemed to spread through his body. Some part of him would have rather died than see her get hurt, and he was no longer sure how to fight that side off.
Turning his attention to his brothers, Kol pointed out, "You two are being ridiculous."
"And you are being reckless," Rebekah snapped. "I want my memories of Aniya back as much as you do, but I am not willing to risk the life we've built for Hope. Are you?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he clenched his jaw and turned to walk out of the room. Rebekah let out a sigh and stood behind Aniya's chair, resting a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"I'm not sure why, of all people, you chose to marry one of my brothers."
Aniya nodded, a look of defeat crossing her face. "He's the meanest boy I've ever met."
Elijah and Kol made their way out of the dining room after saying their farewells to the two girls. Rebekah accepted a forehead kiss from Elijah before taking her seat next to Aniya, a gentle smile forming on her pink lips as dark waves fell over Aniya's face. "Let me know when you want me to plait these. I'm sure you're quite famished after a night out with my brother."
"Quite," Aniya chuckled. "He was never like this."
Rebekah's smiled dimmed a bit. "No, he wasn't. I suppose it's a difference between who you are and the person you need to be in order to survive; and in the presence of Niklaus, whilst running from Mikael and fighting bloodlust, we all changed a bit. Tell me, have I always been this way?"
"Yes. I did admire you," She admitted. There had been a time during a bon fire, where she had chosen to stay indoors and help the women prepare food, while Rebekah stood outdoors and sat by the cattle. "Your father should have considered you a Viking."
"I am sure I have always been a Viking," Rebekah said with a small laugh. "I can't think of other people that traveled around the world on ships; but then, we were running from our father, so I suppose we were more pirates than anything."
Aniya's lips turned downward, her gaze falling to her hands. "The years not have been kind to you."
"They were not, but what of you? A thousand years of sleep?"
    "Of nothing."
She recalled having woken up to nothingness. She was met with a cold, dark silence, as if someone had locked her in an endless room and shut the lights out. She remembered waiting for Vihaan, who'd been killed two minutes earlier, and screaming when she realized he wouldn't come for her. She could recall the pang in her chest, and the sobs that had wracked her body as she bargained with the gods to bring her back.
She'd been given someone who would observe her silently, capture all of her habits and flaws and loved her despite. Someone that had gotten lost in all of her features, and it had been ripped away from her. She'd been given a taste of freedom with each Mikaelson. Even little Henrik had been a chance for her to escape into a life she would never have: one where she might have raised a child.
And she'd been left with nothing.
After a moment, Aniya reached for Rebekah's hand shut her eyes, opening her mind to the Original. Rebekah fell into the void, and a few moments passed before her sight was able to adjust to her environment. She blinked, and notice a frail Aniya sitting a few feet away, her arms holding tightly onto her knees as she stared at the ground. She appeared to be the same way they found her: covered with dirt and dried blood. The blonde pursed her lips at the sight, and pulled her arm away from Aniya.
"There's no need to worry now," Rebekah assured her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're immortal. I won't let anything happen to you. I promise."
-
"WHY AM I HERE?" Aniya huffed as she stood at the gates of Lafayette Cemetary. Kol had promised her a milkshake. "Nik and Elijah agreed that we weren't to seek help from New Orleans witches."
"Nik and Elijah are not my fathers," Kol remarked, pushing the doors open. He stood and held it for her, causing her to stare blankly at him. "All of your problems would be solved if you did two simple spells. Both of which you would have aid in, if you only asked."
    "They threatened Henry."
"And they shred the soul of my former lover. Everybody makes mistakes."
    "Then why trust them?"
"Because we haven't a choice in the matter, and at worst, we double cross each other," Kol said, as if it were obvious. "I am well-versed in the art of massacres."
"Lovely. All the more reason to trust you," Aniya muttered and begrudgingly took a step into the cemetary. She hadn't returned since the night she was resurrected, though the Mikaelsons had dealt with the Hollow shortly after. They's done something with a parallel dimension or Geminis -- truthfully, Aniya never paid much attention to Nik's coffee chats.
"I feel caught," Kol snickered as he walked alongside her. He looked down at the shorter girl, his eyes barely glancing at the path in front of him despite the graveyard's sharp turns.
Aniya scoffed at his response, taking a moment to think before asking, "Do you want to know what I honestly think of you?"
    "What?"
    "I despise you."
It was his turn to scoff. "You despise me. Why do you despise me?"
"With every chance you have to do the right thing, to be kind and selfless and caring; you are nothing but conceited, selfish, and miserable," She listed, despite the mocking look painted across Kol's face. Aniya rolled her eyes at his response. "I feel sorry for you, I really do. I just wish you'd bear it better."
"Well, you wouldn't understand, now would you? You've never had to watch who you thought was the love of your life, truly die."
Aniya stopped and turned to face him. She analyzed his every feature, his brows twitching in anger and eyes filled with spite as he looked back at her. His lips were somewhat pulled behind his teeth, as if baring them at her in defense. Even his posture looked as though he were ready to pounce, despite the fact that they'd only had a verbal argument.
She smiled tightly at his statement, fingers reaching for the old wedding ring before she remembered the previous night. "No. I'd move on if I couldn't be loved. I suggest you do the same."
