funniest thing to me is matt pretty much being 24/7 tuned in to the radio. people around him ALWAYS have it on. he can’t avoid it.

as a result his knowledge of pop music from the last twenty years is unmatched. he’s so good at karaoke. he knows the lyrics to every top 40 you can throw at him. whenever he’s cooking or unoccupied he just tunes in and starts humming or singing along.

foggy just thinks his private music taste is insane, because matt just does not seem like a top 40 kinda guy, and he never puts them on when he gets to pick the music, but every time he catches matt singing it’s always like. ariana grande.

(i just so fervently believe foggy is a grunge/punk/indie/musicals fan and a bit snobby about it so he’s like. MATT. why are you bringing maroon 5 into our sacred space of shitty apartment 2. do we need to have a good music intervention)

Hello! This post is for telling you the premise of my au, foggy’s backstory and what questions are okay to ask :)

The premise of this au is almost a reverse daredevil, where Matt is not a vigilante and Foggy is, however Matt is still blind!

What questions are ok?

Basically anything! As long as its ontopic to the au then youre free to ask any question you like. You can also direct your question to post college foggy if you want :)!

Backstory;

Foggy was born a winged mutant to an all human family, from a very early age he had strange powers, super strength, manipulating light and energy, conjuring it and controlling it as well as affecting sounds and temperatures. His parents didnt know what to do with this, so they taught him to hide it, thinking it would be better off for everyone if Foggy’s status was kept a secret, he was told to never use his powers in public no matter what. Foggy had a best friend named Matt Murdock, they met at the park one day and were inseparable ever since. One day while walking home from middle school, a transport truck ran a red light and was coming right towards the pair, Foggy in a panic, froze. Having it being drilled into him to never use his powers he didn’t act fast enough and Matt pushed him out of the way, thankfully they both survived the accident but this resulted in Matt being blinded. Foggy has felt incredible guilt since that day, and even though Matt has reassured him many times he would’ve done it again, knowing the outcome Foggy made a promise to never freeze up when someone needed help. He wouldn’t fail another person. Matt got sent away a year after that, when his dad died. And foggy never saw him again, that was until law school.

Foggy couldnt believe that he was seeing Matt again, and even better they were roommates! It was easy for them to pick up right where they left off, and become close again. However, living in such close quarters now its going to be hard for Foggy to keep his powers a secret, especially his wings since he can only retract them for so long.

Foggy haters are so weird. But especially those who hate foggy in Matt’s name like you know Matt would fucking hate you right? He would defend Foggy to you, till his last breath and then BLAME himself for being the reason someone hates Foggy. If you hate Foggy you hate Matt Murdock. Point blank.
