Spell Idea
Cozy
Description: For 6 turns, you make your target feel like they are in their bed with a hot blanket around them, making them feel so cozy that they don’t want to move or do anything that could make that feeling disappear.
Functionality: If your enemy fails a Constitution saving throw they lose half of their movement speed and have disadvantage to all their attacks or actions that require moving (ex: spells with a Somatic component) and will have to roll 1d20 to see if they feel like doing it (ex: before drinking a health potion). If somebody uses a sleep spell against that same target they’ll have disadvantage on the saving throw required to escape from it.
Inspiration: It’s me, I’m cozy.

Are you new to D&D? Think caster classes are complicated and hard to learn? Do you want to understand how each caster class works in one easy analogy? Then this is for you!
Let's think of casting spells as cooking. When cooking (casting spells) you need to:
1. Have a way to learn the recipe. (Known Spells)
2. Prepare the recipe. (Prepared Spells)
3. Eat the recipe. (Spell Slots)
The way each caster class does spells is different, but they can be categorized into 3 separate groups:
Prepared Casters, Spontaneous Casters, and Wizards.
With this in mind, we can categorize them by how each class learns their recipes (known spells) as well as how they get ready to make them (prepared spells).
Prepared Casters: These casters have access to any recipe they could ever need. Think of it like having access to Google, or Pinterest (known spells). If they want a recipe, they just spend their morning finding what they want, grocery shopping and getting it ready (prepared spells). They can make any food you give them a recipe for.
Spontaneous Casters: These casters don't have internet. They do, however, have a few recipe books (known spells). They have few really good recipes that they like, and have basically memorized these recipes. They always have the ingredients to make their favourite things (prepared spells).
Wizards: A grouping of their own, they are somewhat a combination of the two. Wizards do not use Google or Pinterest, they're better than that. Any recipe they like, they compile into a recipe blog (known spells). Their recipe blog is pretty full, any time they find a new recipe that they like they can add it to their blog, though adding new recipes can sometimes be costly (they need materials to copy down the recipe). That said, like prepared casters, they do their grocery shopping in the morning, when they'd decide what recipes they're going to make that day (prepared spells).
The next section is spell slots. If you make the food, you have to eat it too, right? Spell slots are basically how much a given caster can eat.
All full casters (Druids, Bards, Clerics, Wizards, Sorcerers) have the capacity to eat a decent amount of food.
Half casters (Paladins, Rangers), can only eat a portion of the food that they make.
Warlocks are weird, the food they make is always top notch, but they can't eat very much of it (they cast their spells at the highest level they can and don't have many spell slots). That said, their metabolism is beefy as hell and after a few hours of rest they can eat again.
I'll probably add a section to this later to explain regaining spell slots. If anyone has any additions they wanna make, please go for it!

Now, the Domini! These five monsters are the embodiment of each of the layers of phyrexia, but they were so similar that I didn't feel like making a full statblock for each of them was warranted.
So instead, I made a single statblock, and certain abilities change between them, as shown in the table. That also opens the possibility as a sort of tempalte if YOU want to make a dominus of your own!

Okay but Jimbei is like, an old pirate. Joining the Strawhats is basically his retirement job. He’s like “ugh man I’ve been doing all this political maneuvering for decades it’s so exhausting” and Luffy pops up like “wow lame wanna join my Funtime crew instead? I’ll let you punch whoever you want” and Jimbei’s like yeah. I do want that actually.

Some of you didn’t seem to understand how magic works in the sense of how you can access it. I’ll explain again.
If you gain magical power from making a deal with a more powerful being, you are a warlock. Sneaky lawyer.
If you gain magical power through teachings and studies, you are a wizard/artificer. (Artificers usually gain power through experimentation.)
If you gain magical power by pledging yourself to a cause, being, or idea, you are a paladin. Pretentious bitch.
If you gain magical power by praising a higher deity (and not making a deal), you are a cleric. Heal someone.
If you have magical power and you didn’t do anything to gain it, you are a sorcerer. Fuck you. Seriously, fuck you. The rest of us had to work for our shit.
If you gain magical power by protecting nature and caring for plants and animals, you are a Druid. Fucking hippie.
If you gain magical power from your desire to entertain and also fuck, you are a bard. Stop trying to seduce my dad.

Spell Idea
Cats
Functionality: After having rolled to hit, open #cats on Tumblr or r/cats on Reddit, depending on the color and the number of the cats that appear in the 1d6-th post filtered by newest the effect of the spell changes.
Colour: (multiple effects can take place if the cat has multiple colours)
Orange: deal Xd10 of fire damage (doubles the damage if it falls/stairs are involved in the post)
Black: deal Xd10 of necrotic damage (d12 if completely black)
White: deal Xd10 of radiant damage (d12 if you’re a paladin, +2 if it has blue eyes)
Brown: deal Xd8 of poison damage (+2 total damage if it’s a video)
Gray: deal Xd10 force damage (advantage if it is a baby)
Others (even artificially coloured fur): Xd20 of cold damage (+3 total damage if the cat looks angry/annoyed by it)
The X value is the result of the 1d6 used to decide which post to pick
Number:
X gains a +1
X gains a +2
The total damage gains a +3
The total damage gains a +3 and X gains a +1 if one or more bonus effects of the colours took place
or more: The total damage gains a +5 and X gains a +1 for each and every type of bonuses that took place
Additional bonuses:
+1 damage if the post has multiple photos
+3 damage if the post mentions the name of the cat
X+1 if the cat has any type of deformity
+1 Inspiration point if this is the first time using the spell and while showing the post anyone says “Awwww” (if it’s the DM, everyone gains one)
+2d4 health to all the Tabaxi in the party
+2d4 health if there’s a pet cat in the party
+2d4 temporary hit points to anyone who owns a cat (even the DM, but only to one creature and only if they feel like it)
+1d8 of the type of damage indicated by the colour (if multiple you decide which) for each of the players who is willing to take a video of themselves saying meow (this has to be on the same video)
Inspiration: I spent the last ???? hours, looking at cats and I do not regret it.
Here is a photo of my cat

While you’re out arguing whether necromancers or illusionists are more evil, the evocation caster just set 15 people and various nearby inanimate objects on fire, which is a clear breach of Protocol III of The United Nations Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, thus constituting a war crime. In this essay I will —

Gratuitously evil spells for villains to learn
Mordenkainen's Highly Problematic Political Opinions
Spell that causes someone to experience the entirety of The Big Bang Theory in 6 seconds
Spell that causes a needlessly painful death. It figures out the maximum amount of pain it's ethically permissible to inflict based on context and inflicts twice that much on purpose
Fireball but it expands the area of effect to specifically hit all your teammates.
Mildly Upset Person.
Disintegrate but it bestows any object it hits with full human sapience just before the ray hits.
Locate Object but every time you cast it, it kicks a random guy in the nuts for no good reason.
Hellish Rebuke but it hits anyone who isn't attacking you.
Ray of Deforestation
Transmute Food To Food That's Produced Unsustainably And Using Unethical Labor Practices
Nullify Union
