Description:

Nancy is short enough that he can see right over her head. He spies Chrissy sitting between Vickie and Robin on the end of the bed. He smirks slowly when she perks up, his dark eyes locking with hers fast.

“Hey, sweetheart.” he coos lowly, tilting his head slightly to the left.

He watches her falter in her resolve, pursing her lips tightly.

“Chrissy, stop it, don’t make eye contact!” Nancy scolds her over her shoulder. “Robin, quick, the blanket.”

Robin grabs the throw blanket on the end of the bed and wraps it over Chrissy’s head, making her squeak in surprise.

Eddie pouts deeply at his main seduction tactic being thwarted. His gaze shifts back down to Nancy who has just now become enemy number one of the evening.

He glowers darkly. “Oh ho, I’ll get you for this,” he tells her petulantly, raising a high finger. “Just you wait, there will be consequences!”

“I’ll take my chances.” she deadpans, looking down at her nails as if bored.

“You just started a war, Wheeler.” he says. “You can’t stop nature!”

“Watch me.” she says as she swings the door shut in his face.

Anyone want to try a story about the Wingfeather Saga and Ascendance Series together? Meeting each other and learning about one another, becoming close friends and allies.

I think Kalmar and Jaron would get along, Kalmar still is very adventurous and reckless and Jaron is too, they enable each other. They get the whole weight of kingship without much preparation. They've both been through some harrowing stuff and to be able to come out the other side still determined to do right by their people whom they love so much is admirable. My precious little diamonds!

Janner would bond with both Tobias and Roden but over different things. Tobias more for the scholarly kinship but he and Roden both have a deep desire to protect their loved ones and their country. They would spar together. Janner and Tobias would spend time in the library a lot, just trading knowledge - I bet Janner and Sara would be pretty interested to hear about Tobias medical stuff.

Sara and Imogen would get along splendidly, and they would empathize with each other about a life of servitude. They are also both brave, quietly strong, and kind girls. I'm kind of picking this off one by one so I guess that leaves Leeli and Amiranda but I think they would get along well. They are both very mature and loving girls who care deeply and can see the bigger picture.

To be honest I think all the girls would be friends - just shy of inseparable.

Janner and Kalmar decided that Jaron would be Guild Master Clout’s favorite person because of all his cleverness and sneakiness.

I finally know what it is that makes percy and grover’s dynamic so different. Its the same dynamic that we see in american middle school media: a male protagonist and his weird, nerdy, conventionally less attractive male friend and their whole friendship dynamic is a shift from “he’s so weird ew” to “hey, maybe i can live with being your friend”

But percy and grover are different because they love each other so much!! Their friendship dynamic developed from “i like him, even though he’s a bit weird” to “you’re one of my favourite people and i know you dont believe that but ill make you believe it” which is like a hundred steps ahead of the typical friendship we see in the media.
