Aloy - Oh. Um. I don’t exactly listen to their music a lot, I generally prefer what we have today. Although, GAIA gave me this playlist once called “Phonk”, and I guess it was ok, so I guess that? Sorry, that’s not really a song..

Erend - HEAVY METAL BANDS, I THINK METALLICA OR SLIPKNOT IS MY FAVOURITE. I ENJOY MASTER OF PUPPETS A LOT, THOUGH. ITS EIGHT MINUTES LONG, SO I GET TO ENJOY IT FOR AGES.

(ooc: i know nothing about heavy metal bands all i have is a friend with a metallica bag whom we call emo all the time)

Varl - i actually quite enjoy the pop genre! i think there was a heavy split between the old ones between people who did and didn’t, but i think they sound cool and upbeat. my favourite has to be this one song called shake it off by this girl called taylor swift!!! i don’t know if she’s still relevant with you guys but i enjoy a lot of her music :) also i listen to classical sometimes from zo!!!

Zo - Generally I listen to calmer music, classical like Varl said. I enjoy Beethoven, but I also switch over to more 80s, 90s, 2000s, and 2020s music sometimes because of Varl. I like Adele - my favourite from her has to be Chasing Pavements, or Easy On Me :) Alva got me into The Lumineers too.

Kotallo - i don’t have a lot of time to listen to music. all i know is mr. sandman. bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam oh mr sandman. that one. i think it’s old so i don’t know if you all still know it.

Alva - MY TURN!!!!! i enjoy this one band called the lumineers a LOT. my favourite is ophelia because it reminds me of federa and sometimes it makes me cry. also!! taylor swift!! she was 2000s to 2020s i think so like varl said i’m not sure if you all know her.. but i heard her fans called themselves “swifties” so that’s pretty cool!! me and varl listen to music together a lot we share similar tastes :3 i like the pop genre too!!

Beta - i really enjoy the crane wives i really like the moon will sing or the well also there was this song called lovely and i think billie something was her name and all i can do is see myself in the lyrics so it makes me cry but it also makes me feel really comforted also alva showed me this song called rises the moon and it makes me really calm

Sylens - Classical.

GAIA - My likes are what Elisabet liked. Sometimes, when she was feeling a bit happier, she’d listen to 70s, 80s, 90s, but when she needed to focus or needed something calmer in a solemn mood, she’d put on some classical or generally calm music. I believe her favourite was “Keep On Movin’” by a band called Five. Although, I do enjoy the songs everyone plays around the base, too.

appearance: she/her. i'm 5'3 and a bit chubby. i have a strong southern accent. i have mid-length light brown hair with blonde highlights and blue eyes. i wear glasses and i have faint freckles that really come out during the summertime (my fav season). i have little scars all over me from my love of being outside and my cat. i love doing my skincare/hygiene things, it gives me such serotonin. my fingernails are always painted bright colors. i always have a scrunchie on my wrist. i love jewelry, especially necklaces so i am almost always wearing a necklace of some sort. i don't know how to put my style into words so here are a few pics i found of my style:

personality: i am argumentative, sassy, sarcastic, and opinionated. i am also kind, almost to a fault because i can literally not be mean. no matter how much a person gets on my nerves, and they do, very much, i just cannot be mean. i blame my parents. i love to learn everything except for math, i have dyscalculia (which is a learning disability in math, it's sort of like dyslexia but math). but i love everything else, especially history and english. i am a huge bookworm, my favorite genres are fantasy and greek mythology. i love playing my own therapist and finding out why i do things. i am a very curious person so my google history is very strange and i fall into Wikipedia rabbit holes very easily. i am a very emotional person but i hate crying in front of people, i like to cry by myself and then be comforted. i am observant and i learn a lot from watching those around me. i am quiet until you get to know me, then i won't shut up. i am very sentimental and if you give me anything, card, sticky note, whatever, I'm keeping it. i write letters to get my emotion's out a lot but never send them.

random facts: i love music, my favorite artists are taylor swift and alec benjamin but i also love classical music and lofi. my favorite band is 5sos. i want to learn to play the keyboard and guitar. i am obsessed with photography. i love being outside.

Now, draco isn’t one of my favourite characters and I rarely talk of him. But he just popped up.

When Draco was with you, what he felt was indescribable. You soothed him, calmed him down from his petty rages. He trusted you, and he rarely did trust anyone. The love he felt you for you seemed to want to swallow him up, his breath caught in his throat sometimes. When he looked at you smiling at him with your paint-stained fingers and your headphones resting at top your head, he knew he had found the love of his life. You understood him, and did not judge him and he wanted to be a better person for you. He felt so vulnerable so exposed to be so dependent on someone who was not his flesh and blood. But then you’d smile and your laugh sounding in his ears and he would smile in return. He could spend all eternity living that moment over and over again.

So... I was in my Mean Girl Era last night.

I exposed someone for pretending they aren't white on Twitter, as they attempted to claim Taylor Swift is racist. All it took was a few minutes of searching their acc for specific words and while it took a Tweet from 2014, I finally got it. They are white and took up pretending to be black about 3 years ago around the same time they got into [specific genre of music] and were offended over being told they are just some 'fetishizing white girl myob'.

So, the claims started up some time mid-2020, but they have selfies and links to their Instagram proving they and all their friends are whiter than snow itself. Also, their most recent retweet was them carelessly mocking the recent shooting a that mall...

To cap off my findings, I told them their fav that they never even knew, was a well-known racist that no one cared about, and that them only having sympathy for his cooling corpse, over the lives and well-being of people right now, is pathetic and to go cry about it.

I'm in rare form, IDC.

Books:

I read quite many book from different genres, so it’s difficult for me to really pick, so I’m just gonna list my fav books by women, because why not?

(In no particular order)

Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin

This a sci-fi book from the 1969 and was banned for quite some time due to its questioning on binary concepts of gender. It is a feminist anthropological science fiction novel. It was recommended to me by my former professor. It is a groundbreaking work of science fiction, about a human emissary to a winters planet whose inhabitants can change their genders. His mission is to convince the inhabitants to be a part of the growing intergalactic civilization. The planets politics aren’t extremely interesting, as they didn’t value things that are material (masculine/patriarchal) like weapons, money or power.

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Jane is the first fictional character that I relate to on so many levels. I am sure this book opened something inside of me. This is also the only book that made me cry for hours, even days, but that’s due to it touching me greatly.

The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

Book with another character that I strongly relate to. It’s also about a very interesting time of the 14th century Russia. The sorry is told rather like a fairytale, yet grounded in reality. I’m not really a fan of historic fiction, but this one has just this good mix of fantasy/reality. It’s a must read during winter. The characters are complex but really well written. Very captivating and enchanting story.

Shatter Me series (especially Ignite Me) by Tahereh Mafi

Aaron Anderson Warner. Do I have to say more? He’s my book husband. No man could ever compete with him. He is superior. He is the blue print to all of my book boyfriends. I hope my future partner would understand that if Warner would come alive..sorry to my partner, but I’ve made my choose loooong time ago. I don’t think you can comprehend my love for this man.

Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Ride

There is no dull moment in this book. I would take this book to the grave. I don’t think you understand how much I love Evelyn’s character. It’s phenomenal, spectacular, outstanding, never been done before. Nothing negative to say about this book, NOTHING!

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath (couldn’t not include it)

Movies:

There are so many I want to add but I sticked with ones that moved me in some way after watching them.

Interstellar by Christopher Nolan

This is probably my all time fav move. Hands down! I love astrophysics and this movie is a great introduction for it. I’m a sucker for movies about interstellar travel and have science in it and a good plot. The scientific accuracy in this movie is just something that I respect. I’ve watched this movie so many times and it just makes me cry ever damn time. Also I would watch anything Nolan makes. AND the Soundtrack…Hans Zimmer took his whole out and created a spectacular soundtrack. I also just love watching stuff about time being irrelevant.

Before Sunrise by Richard Linklater

I want what Jesse and Celine have. It’s a movie about human connections and soulmates. Meeting strangers randomly and them being an extremely significant person in their life, even though they would never meet again. It’s a movie about what love really is. Strangers who express their most intimate feelings through conversation during only day they get to spent time together. It’s truly a masterpiece.

Eat, Pray, Love by Ryan Murphy

It’s not maybe a cinematic masterpiece, but I like the story of a woman trying to heal herself from a severe emotional and spiritual crisis. There are few quotes from the movie that I like to listen to feel better whenever I’m in a crisis.

The Geographer Drank His Globe Away by Alexander Veledinsky

It’s a Russian comedy about a geography teacher that is actually a biologist with a mid-life crisis and his ordinary life.

Mother by Darren Aronofsky

I watched this movie in the cinema and though “What the fuck did I just watch?” and everyone at the end started laughing about how buzzard it is. But then I though about it and realized what it was actually about, and not I love it!

The Pianist by Roman Polanski (I know, I know)

I love classical music, especially piano pieces and the story of Władysław Szczypman is very touching, especially for someone who has Polish roots. It’s a sad movie about survival against oppression, which is visceral and detailed in the movie. The redemptive power of music and the good of humanity that makes the movie.

Honorable mention: any comedy with Louis de Funes + the James Bond franchise

10 favorite sad song? - this is my genre of music so I may have more than one fav haha but these are what I cry most often to: before you go by lewis capaldi, who you are by paradise fears, mirrorball by taylor swift, all too well by taylor swift and tin man by mirana lambert

13 favorite memory? - wow this is a really hard question.. but I kept coming back to this one moment. It was my freshman year at my undergrad, and there used to be this park close to campus, on the way to the downtown area (off campus housing, the bars, etc.) and I was with the only friend I’d made on my own not bc of forced proximity of my team. We were walking home from a party, and we stopped in the park and got on the swing set.. I LOVE swings, and we were drunk and just laughing and having so much fun. I remember leaning back and looking at the sky and just thinking “wow, I am so happy”. I remember saying I finally understood what Charlie meant in perks of being a wallflower about feeling infinite because that moment felt infinite. I don’t talk to that friend very much at all anymore, but that memory is going to stick with me forever.

21 favorite ending in fictional media? - it’s on my mind because I’ve been rewatching it, but the ending of schitt’s creek is one of the only endings I’ve actually enjoyed. It was done SO well.

marauders era characters and their favourite taylor swift album (also what album you should listen to based on your fav!!) — a character analysis (of sorts):

james: fearless (tv)

i mean, fearless meets hey stephen meets you belong with me meets the best day meets that’s when is literally, genuinely, HIM. he’d like the slight country-ness of it all, due to how it’s only given in small portions but is still there. the theme of falling head over heels in love but it not working out would go so well with him and his character </3 he’d listen to it like almost every day.

sirius: lover

if he was asked this, he’d die, and probably go for reputation. a safe option. but he doesn’t know himself like i do. he’d be screaaaaaaming the lyrics to ‘i think he knows’ whenever he could, he’d cry to lover, relate to the archer, daylight, and afterglow on a spiritual level, and never get sick of cruel summer. like. ever. that’s just how it is!!! lover was the first album he listened to after lily introduced it to him and it’s therefore very special to him

remus: evermore

i know like literally everyone would say folklore because of cardigan and peace and hoax etc etc but?? to me evermore feels more like him. none of the songs necessarily describe him, but marjorie and ivy and cowboy like me and ‘tis the damn season feel so like him. also, this might be because i cannot help but see wolfstar as a very very loving couple and gold rush and long story short and willow are like invisible string’s sisters. evermore is folklore’s younger sister as well, and sort of shifts between being more and less emotionally intelligent than folklore so it just fits him to me.

peter: speak now

there’s very little he knows better than revenge. but also, he feels like such a romantic to me. i know he’s so often headcanoned as aro and/or ace, but i’ve never found myself agreeing, as you can now tell. i feel like he would not handle change well at all and songs like never grow up and even (in my opinion) back to december portray that. plus he’d just love the genres😭

lily: 1989

where do i even BEGIN. clean is a huge reason for it, since she’s had to let go of so many shitty people in her life, but she also seems like such a dreamer and wished to move to a huge city when she grew up, and therefore fell in love with welcome to new york very easily. she loves a messy but true love kinda trope (literally all the songs on there), with hints of purity here and there (you are in love), but she also loves people being able to get proper mad and a lil unhinged about things (blank space, bad blood). besides. she’s very pop. in the best way. plus, she’s the hugest swiftie of them, of course she chooses 1989.

marlene: folklore

she knows how to feel pain, she knows it well. but she does it with so much hope. like, yeah, maybe today was exhausting and the past week really sucked and life feels awful. but that’s not where it ends…? it can’t be. and she feels very reflective. and very romantic. and SO passionate, about both things and people she loves, as well as herself and her own potential. i guess that’s a bit of a controversial marlene characterisation but, no, i don’t want to give her that mean and tough lesbian trope.

dorcas: reputation

very protective of things and people, but in a truly romantic way. she knows how to stand up for herself, maybe not as intensely as the narrator of rep, but the passion is there for sure. and she’s SO romantic, her fav off the album is probably call it what you want. dress is very dorlene, dancing with our hands tied is very dorlene, call it what you want is very dorlene, and in my opinion marlene fell first but dorcas fell harder and that fits the whole purpose and message of reputation very well to me.

mary: red (tv)

just being in the middle of a transition from country into pop is very mary, i can’t explain it but it’s just her. her loving red is very complimentary to lily loving 1989 as well. she’s probably sobbed to every single song on the album for different reasons in different occasions, and i think by as early as the first minute of state of grace she was just…. completely sold. this connection isn’t one i can really analyse or explain or justify, it just makes tons of sense to me, how it’d be her complete fave from day one. begin again, treacherous, the lucky one, holy ground, babe…. ah. it’s perfect for her.

Who's your favourite singer? Who was your first crush? Do you have a particular hair colour you want to try? Do you have a fic idea or fic type that you always wanted to write but somehow haven't? Lastly, what's your most fav fic of all time?

I have a lot of favorite writers on this app 🥲 but I will mention the ones I discovered when I first got into bts fanfic on tumblr @floralseokjin @yoonia @honeymoonjin @army-author @cupofteaguk & so many more that I haven’t mentioned. they’re all amazing writers & I remember feeling like i’ve found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow when I discovered their masterlists.

The best feedback I’ve ever gotten 😭 I don’t think I can choose. They all make my heart warm. However, the ones I go back to are under All That Glitters. I guess because that fic was kind of personal. Like a chunk of my diary in the form of a fanfic.

I’ve always been writing. For as long as I can remember but mostly for myself. Just little stories that I could indulge in. Then I thought it’d be fun to share them on here with everyone. I didn’t think I’d get much attention haha.

I don’t really have a favorite anon. They’re all precious to me because they took the time to come to my inbox to drop something for me.

A favorite singer, hmm, I listen to a lot of music from different genres but if I had to pick my favorite these days, as in someone who gets me so emotional when I listen to his voice, it’d be Jungkook.

Lana Del Rey. I also really like Jess Glynne & Jesse Rutherford from The NBHD.

Favorite crush? Celebrity or irl. Lmao I can’t remember my first celebrity crush but it was probably Taylor Lautner (and then I slowly became team Edward). my first irl crush was the new boy in school when I was in third grade and later on we ended up dating for two years.

I haven’t dyed my hair before bc I like the brown shade but there’s a lot I would like to try! Specifically ash blonde.

I think all the fic ideas I have are wips 🥲 but I would like to try writing a body swap au (i might just)

So that's the outift im SORRY it's all black but i wore it recently and i rlly liked it so it's the first thing that came to mind

Totally unrelated to the event but this is the pair of shoes I'm wearing in that outfit and I'm in Love with them probably my fav pair shoes

So uh yea these ^ shoes with black pants, a white tshirt with a printed tie tucked into the pants, and a black denim jacket over top. Also a black knitted belt. I always wear those bracelets and like, a normal watch.

Ah personailty. I'm that generally nice guy that noone rlly has any beef with but who's not like, one of the popular kids uk? Not very talkative but that's only around new people. In contrast, I'm probably the most talkative one within my friend group lol.

I LOVE reading I've loved it ever since i was a toddler. I don't have a fav genre, as a kid i would read literally anything, from encyclopdias to kids books to classics to even this one big book about herbal medicine that i read for some reason? I don't even remember what was in it but it was rlly cool.

I have a system where my tbr list doubles as my book ranking list. My highest ranked books tend to be those that make me cry a Lot. So books like The Song Of Achilles, aaddtsotu, No 6, Circe, A Thousand Boy Kisses.

I'm a hoe for animation, and I don't watch live action movies/series alot. When i was younger it was disney pixar etc and now I watch anime. I still love disney pixar movies tho, and im always down to watch a classic like Mulan or newer movies like Luca or Encanto (three of my favourite films of all time btw). I prefer animation to live action because it has this sense of wonder and fantasy and excitement that you can't replicate with live action, and that's what i rlly enjoy abt it.

I loove music, i play the uke guitar and piano, tho I'm not Amazing at any of them. My fav artist is Taylor Swift. I don't support Celebrity Stan culture and I don't follow her life too intensely, i just find out stuff by filtration from my mutuals/friends lol. That being said, i think Taylor is so incredibly talented and her music never ever fails to make me feel a whole slew of emotions.

I also have adhd and it messes w my life in some ways, makes it more interesting in other ways. I Cannot hold a topic I go on multiple tangents, i have the short term memory capacity of a spoon, i cannot sit still and am always fidgeting , I'm hypersensitive to sudden sounds, but im also unable to function in total silence. School was weird cuz I'd never be able to pay attention in class or while studying normally but sometimes I'd hyperfixate on my studies for hours on end and so I'd do fairly well anyway.

I'm bisexual grayro! I'm aromantic in the sense that I don't feel romantic attraction, but i still wanna be in a romantic relationship someday (btw I am taking this event date as romantic not platonic). I'm also into boys girls and anything else, although i have a preference for guys.

I love being alone and left to do my own thing, but i hate feeling lonely or isolated. Which is smn my friends understand, so we don't talk a whole lot, but whenever we do it's so refreshing and the love between us is so palpable uk?

I watch documentaries in my free time! I especially love ones about history, which is one of my favourite subjects. I'm not TOO interested in war history, although its important and just as significant. I'm more interested in the development of society through the ages and the small quiet revolutions that made the world what we know today.

perfect book to read on rainy days? I used to live in Seattle where it rains ALL THE DAMN TIME. And I’m easily bored, so I don’t like to read the same thing twice.
